  • Cheryl Burke Is Out, Former Miss Wisconsin Is In To Co-Host Miss USA

Cheryl Burke has officially been replaced as co-host of the Miss USA pageant by former Miss Wisconsin Alex Wehrley.

Cheryl Burke announced that she was leaving the pageant shortly after Donald Trump’s now infamous comments on illegal immigrants.

As a co-host, Cheryl Burke was only one of most of the people who were hosting, judging, or performing at the Miss USA pageant who dropped out.

In a statement posted to her social media accounts, Cheryl Burke outlined her reasons for leaving the pageant.

Cheryl Burke’s statement said, in part, “In light of the recent statements made by Donald Trump and the subsequent decision by NBC to cut ties with Mr. Trump, I cannot in good conscience move forward with participating in this year’s Miss USA Pageant as its co-host.”

In case you’ve been under a rock, Donald Trump’s statement that sent the Miss USA world crashing down and sent Cheryl Burke packing was, “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best.”

He added, “They’re not sending you, they’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems. They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime. They’re rapists and some, I assume, are good people, but I speak to border guards and they’re telling us what we’re getting.”

Well, the show must, and will, go one without Cheryl Burke. Fans of the Miss USA pageant will be very pleased.

What do you think of Cheryl Burke’s replacement, former Miss Wisconsin Alex Wehrley? Will you be watching the pageant?

  • Miss USA Loses A Host For The Fifth Time, Jeannie Mai Doesn’t Want The Job Anymore

The Real co-host Jeannie Mai has declined to host the Miss USA pageant after declaring in an interview in Entertainment Tonight last week that she would proceed with her hosting duties.

In the interview, Mai said that she initially thought of taking the posts which Cheryl Burke and Thomas Roberts vacated, as she believed in the essence of the prestigious beauty pageant.

With her whole family behind her, Mai declared that nobody should be hindered in standing up for their family and beliefs, so she decided to remain on board.

Moreover, The Real co-emcee originally believed that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump would cease to participate in the production of Miss USA.

Upon realizing that Trump would not be stepping away from the beauty pageant, Mai reversed her decision and stepped down from the hosting stint, becoming the fifth person to turn down the job.

In a Facebook post, the TV personality hinted on Trump’s tweet against reigning Miss Universe Pauline Vega and realized that the presidential hopeful would likely continue to divert attention from the women participating in the pageant.

The crowned Miss Universe from Colombia spoke out against Trump’s racially insensitive comments against Mexicans but declared she would keep the crown.

    Trump called her a “hypocrite.”

In the meantime, Reelz network has declared that new hosts for the upcoming beauty contest were found. Todd Newton and Alex Wehrley now have the hosting job while Julie Alexandria will cover the show from backstage.

Newton hosted the Family Game Night while Wehrley was a former beauty queen.

The Reelz network has bought the rights to put Miss USA on air, which will take place this Sunday in Baton Rouge, La after NBC refused to televise the said pageant.

  • Cheryl Burke Gets Replaced For Miss USA Hosting Duties

Cheryl Burke has now officially been replaced in hosting the Miss USA pageant after stepping down due to incendiary statements made by Donald Trump.

Burke, a Dancing With The Stars champion, was set to host the pageant with MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts but released a statement after Trump’s comments made headlines, saying she would not be able to proceed.

“In light of the recent statements made by Donald Trump and the subsequent decision by NBC to cut ties with Mr. Trump, I cannot in good conscience move forward with participating in this year’s Miss USA Pageant,” Burke wrote on Facebook.

Replacing Burke and Roberts will be former Miss Wisconsin Alex Wehrley and television host Todd Newton, according to Reelz TV, which will be airing the pageant after NBC dropped it in the wake of Trump’s announcement that he’s running for president.

Trump, who is co-owner of the pageant, made several comments during his announcement about immigrants from Mexico that immediately garnered backlash, saying that they bring drugs and a criminal element to the United States when they are allowed to cross the border.

“They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people,” Trump said.

Cheryl Burke and Thomas Roberts aren’t the only people once affiliated with the event who are refusing to participate; Jennie Mai, who was set to cover the backstage area during the show, also released a statement saying she didn’t want to be part of it, and rapper Flo Rida and Emmit Smith–who was going to be a judge–have also backed down.

  • Jeannie Mai Is Latest To Drop From Miss USA Duties, Cites Trump’s Continued “Antics”

Jeannie Mai stated just last week that she would stick with the pageant despite the fallout from Trump’s campaign announcement speech.

Now, Jeannie Mai has withdrawn from her duties as co-host of the pageant.

In Trump’s speech, he stated in part, “When Mexico (meaning the Mexican Government) sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you (pointing to the audience). They’re not sending you (pointing again).”

He continued, “They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems to us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people! But I speak to border guards and they tell us what we’re getting.”

After his speech, people dropped like flies from the Miss USA pageant, which is co-owned by Donald Trump, including most of the co-hosts, judges, and musical performers.

While I absolutely do not condone Mr. Trump's statements, after careful deliberation I have decided to continue my role as co-host of the upcoming Miss USA Pageant. For the past several years, I have been co-hosting both Miss USA and Miss Universe aligned to support President Paula Shugart. I can't abandon these women when they need our support now more than ever. The mission of the Miss Universe organization has always been to unite women from all over the world and celebrate different cultures. They empower women to become role models in their communities in order to build self-esteem and advance philanthropic initiatives. It is truly unfortunate that recent events have overshadowed the amazing work these women have been doing, but the goals of their organization have not changed. Through the years I've experienced a wide variety of inspiring stories. I've met women who used the pageant to help fund their education. I got to know winners like Miss Universe Leila Lopes who used the platform to bring so much positive attention to emerging countries like Angola. There are countless stories of real women working hard to impact social change. My entire career has been driven by my inspiration to celebrate women and their potential. I hope everyone can transcend this controversy so we don’t lose sight of that. As long as there is one woman standing there on that stage, I intend to be standing there beside her.

A photo posted by @thejeanniemai on

However, Jeannie Mai was set to hang on and support the contestants.

Jeannie Mai told ET, “I support every single woman that is standing on that stage that understands what it’s like to be committed to getting to where they are right now. If this one man is going to make these comments it’s going to stop you from representing your family and what you believe in? No, not for me at least.”

Now, Jeannie Mai’s tone, and her intentions, have changed.

Part of the statement from Jeannie Mai via Facebook read, “Let me be clear, I condemn the recent words of Mr. Trump, and find them immensely offensive. At the time I made my decision to remain part of the Miss USA pageant, I was under the impression that Mr. Trump would no longer be involved in the production of the show in any capacity whatsoever.”

She continued, “In addition, given Mr. Trump’s ongoing antics, including his most recent episode today with the current Miss Universe, it is clear that Mr. Trump’s actions have and will continue to distract focus away from the real stars of the show — the women involved in the pageant.”

She then added, “Therefore, I am respectfully withdrawing from my responsibilities and commitment as co-host of Miss USA.”

Trump has attempted to clarify his statements and insist that they have been misrepresented, but he stands by them.

What do you think? Is Jeannie Mai making the right decision or is she wrong in abandoning the women she claimed to support over an idealogical disagreement with Trump?

  • Eva Longoria Compares Donald Trump Comments to Hitler

If Eva Longoria is right, Donald Trump may have what it takes to be the leader of a country. The question is: which country?

In a single speech, Trump polarized a passionate base, marginalized an entire race, angered a foreign nation, and launched himself to the top of his political party’s polls.

Speaking on the topic of illegal immigration from Mexico, Trump drew his sand line clearly.

“When Mexico sends its people they aren’t sending their best,” Trump said when he announced his candidacy. “They are bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they are rapists and some are good people but I speak to border guards and they tell us what we’re getting.”

Eva Longoria was interviewed at a National Association of Latino Independent Producers luncheon last week. She was asked about her response to Trump’s comments.

“Everybody’s been coming to me for a comment on it,” Longoria said at first, “and I’ve refused to comment on it. I feel like I don’t want to bring any more attention to the words because they’re nothing that I agree with, obviously.”

Longoria reasoned that open opposition to Trump’s remarks would just make things worse.

“What I think he doesn’t understand, and what people don’t understand, is words create emotional poison,” Longoria said. That’s what they do. They create emotional poison.”

She then invoked the specter of the man who did this with greatest effectiveness.

“Hitler moved a nation with words, just words.”

So Longoria veered away from personally responding to the particulars of what Trump said.

“It struck a chord within our community that touched our emotions so deep that I don’t want to contribute to that poison being spread. Because if I contribute, it’s just going to bring more attention to the original comments. I’m like, ‘You know what? I am not going to contribute to your emotional poison that you are spreading.’”

Nonetheless, she does admit that Trump should have known that he would catch hell for his comments.

“But, that being said, I think there’s a lot of movement happening already. You have to expect this backlash if you say something like that. You have to expect a backlash.”

Indeed, Donald Trump is giving the GOP cause for concern, leading to other GOP leaders distancing themselves from his remarks.

Donald Trump’s remarks have caused such a furor in Mexico that piñatas of his likeness are becoming popular, llowing Mexicans to bash away at The Donald and his combover.

Another observant journalist sought to remind Donald Trump that his own signature line of men’s suits are made in Mexico.

  • Miss Universe Paulina Vega Slams Donald Trump But Will Keep Crown

Donald Trump’s friend base is shifting. While there are many who see his approach to immigration issues in the United States as common-sense and necessary, many other previous allies have run from his side in the wake of comments he made about Mexicans.

Now you can count the reigning Miss Universe among that number, Paulina Vega, reigning Miss Universe 2014, took to Instagram to post her own take on Donald Trump’s comments at his announcement event for his GOP presidential primary run.

“When Mexico sends its people they aren’t sending their best,” Trump said when he announced his candidacy. “They are bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they are rapists and some are good people but I speak to border guards and they tell us what we’re getting.”

NBC has already pulled out of airing the Miss USA pageant, which leads up to the Miss Universe show. Univision has also bailed on Trump, leaving the Reelz network to reportedly get the show for a song. Even then, the CEO of Reelz was adamant that he did not support Trump.

Miss Universe said in her Instagram post (translated from Spanish):

“I find the comments of Mr. Trump unfair and hurtful. As Colombian and Miss Universe I want to show my support and endorse the sentiments of the Latino community.

“The Miss Universe Organization works independently of their owners. During the last 64 years have created partnerships with excellent social groups, have helped thousands of communities have joined countries around the world inspiring way. If the Miss Universe Organization were to share some anti-Latino sentiment or any kind of racial prejudice, I would not be in this position today.

“I strongly believe that what prevents humanity moving forward is the fact that we divide and categorize. Recognize and accept differences that exist across humanity is the first step in the real and substantial development.”

Since the scandal surrounding his statements broke, Trump has not backed off from what he said. Rather, he insists that he is right and that other GOP candidates should be judged by their relative positions to his.

Supporters of Trump point to the recent murder of a woman in San Francisco, allegedly at the hands of an illegal immigrant who has been deported from the U.S. five times, as evidence that Trump is right.

• Trump Comments on Kathryn Steinle Killing Double Down on Scandalous Claim

As if Donald Trump had not already made his point clear, the candidate for the GOP nomination for president in 2016 has driven his stance home.

Donald Trump used the occasion of the murder of Kathryn Steinle, who was killed at Pier 14 in San Francisco, allegedly by an undocumented alien from Mexico, as opportunity to further iterate his statements about immigration.

San Francisco police are sure they have their man in the shooting. They arrested one Francisco Sanchez, and say he has made statements about the killing, which seems to be random. Sanchez has reportedly been deported from the U.S. five times for crimes.

Trump took to social media to make his points, challenging his opponent in the GOP race, Marco Rubio, with this tweet:

“.@marcorubio what do you say to the family of Kathryn Steinle in CA who was viciously killed b/c we can’t secure our border? Stand up for US”

Trump’s statements are the latest in his reiteration that his campaign-launching assertion that some illegal immigrants are “killers and rapists” was not a mistake.

“When Mexico sends its people they aren’t sending their best,” Trump said when he announced his candidacy. “They are bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they are rapists and some are good people but I speak to border guards and they tell us what we’re getting.”

His statements have lost him the network that carried his Miss USA pageant, as well as costing him the ire of some of his GOP comrades.

But some see Trump’s stance as needed in the U.S.

Trump says the solution to America’s immigration concerns is a wall on the border with Mexico.

“The American people deserve a wall to protect our jobs, economy and our safety. I am the only candidate who would build it.”

  • GOP Wishing Donald Trump Would Go Away?

The GOP is having a hard enough time as it is. The last thing they need is an opportunistic also-ran like Donald Trump distracting voters.

Donald Trump threw down the gauntlet of red meat when he announced his candidacy by offending all of Mexico and all the Mexican immigrants that the GOP is already so desperate to win over to their side of the aisle.

“When Mexico sends its people they aren’t sending their best,” Trump said when he announced his candidacy. “They are bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they are rapists and some are good people but I speak to border guards and they tell us what we’re getting.”

These comments, and others that double down on them, may get Donald Trump loads of press, but they have lost him his deals with NBC and other media outlets for his Miss USA and Miss Universe business

Now the GOP itself is heaving sighs of frustration over Trump’s statements.

“Donald Trump’s comments are hurtful for the cause of Republicans who want to reach out not just to Latinos but across many different ethnic barriers,” said Ben Domenech, who specializes in GOP strategy for landing Hispanic voters. “The problem with those comments is made worse by the fact that people will continue to confuse Trump with a Republican, which he is not, as opposed to thinking of him as an entertainer, which he is.”

Rick Perry said, “I don’t think Donald Trump’s remarks reflect the Republican Party.”

Rather than back off his remarks, Trump insists, “If you look at the statistics of people coming, you look at the statistics on rape, on crime, on everything coming in illegally into this country it’s mind-boggling!” Trump told CNN’s Don Lemon in an interview Wednesday. “Somebody’s doing the raping! I mean somebody’s doing it! Who’s doing the raping?”

  • Miss USA Pageant Will Be Aired On Reelz Channel

The Miss USA pageant has been rescued and will air, after all.

Since NBC and Univision both dropped the pageant and the backlash continues from Donald Trump’s comments on illegal immigrants, the fate of the Miss USA pageant has been hanging in the balance.

The Miss USA pageant will still air on the original date, but they will have to find lots of new talent.

All of the original listed performers have dropped out of the Miss USA pageant, including rapper Flo Rida, country singer Craig Wayne Boyd, and pop singer Natalie La Rose. In addition to that, all but one of the original judges and hosts have abandoned ship, including HGTV star Jonathan Scott, E! News anchor Terrence Jenkins.

Also among those to say goodbye to the Miss USA pageant this year were TV host and former Miss Universe winner Zuleyka Rivera and Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith.

In a statement from Reelz CEO Stan E. Hubbard, he said that the pageant and the women who compete in it “are an integral part of American tradition.”

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_q61B-DyPk

He added, “As one of only a few independent networks, we decided to exercise our own voice and committed ourselves to bringing this pageant to American viewers everywhere.”

The statement made no mention of Donald Trump.

In an interview, Hubbard made it clear that Trump will not make any money from the Miss USA pageant.

“I completely understand why millions of people were offended by what Donald Trump said. I think his comments were incredibly insensitive and wrong. I disagree with them completely and totally. I also believe this pageant is as nonpolitical” as an event can be.

He added, “The point is that people who were offended want to make sure he’s (Trump) not going to profit from our decision,” and he insisted that won’t happen.

What do you think about all the backlash that the Miss USA pageant has had to endure because of Donald Trump’s comments?

  • Miss USA Rescued By Reelz After Being Dropped By Univision And NBC

Donald Trump’s Miss USA pageant was dropped from Univision and NBC’s channels a week ago — the pageant is supposed to air on July 12.

This came after Trump’s comment about Mexican immigrants being “rapists” and “drug-dealers” caused an uproar and offended people.

Following the uproar, a number of hosts and judges of the pageant followed suit and also dropped out.

Rapper Flo Rida along with country singer Craig Wayne Boyd and The Voice winner Natalie La Rose, who were invited to perform at the Miss USA pageant have also backed out. No replacements have been announced as of yet.

Trump has accused NBC and Univision of “abandoning” the contestants but the two networks have stayed steadfast in their decision.

When asked about the networks’ decision, Paula Shugart, the pageant president said, “We are a little company that happened to have been caught between two behemoths”

Remaining hopeful, the organizers of Miss USA vowed to move forward with the event date on July 12 and went immediately on the hunt for new distributors.

This is where Reelz, an independent family-owned network stepped in. They have “saved the sash” for Trump and the Miss USA pageant.

“This is television; this is entertainment,” Stan Hubbard, Reelz CEO told CNN on Thursday. “The Miss USA pageant is about as non-political as anything could possibly be – it’s an iconic television event.”

“An independent network like Reelz is able to look at this pageant, look at the contestants, look at the community, look at this American tradition… and bring it to television,” Hubbard added.

“I agree with everything that NBC and Univision are saying,” Hubbard said. “I think Trump’s comments are ridiculous”

“The point is that people who were offended want to make sure he’s (Trump) not going to profit from our decision and that won’t happen,” Hubbard said.

Trump has yet to comment on Reelz’ acquisition of Miss USA.

  • Miss USA Picked Back Up for TV; Trump Sues for $500 Million

The Miss USA enterprise, run by tycoon and equal opportunity offender Donald Trump, has finally found a channel to land on. After the NBC network unceremoniously severed ties with Donal Trump following his statements that Mexicans were “rapists,” the Miss USA ogle-fest has now landed on Reelz. Yep, Reelz.

What’s worse, network insiders claim that they got the event for a song because no one else wanted to touch it.

Reelz Channel paid “no more than $100,000” to license Donald Trump’s Miss USA pageant, according to the insider. And the CEO of the network is already distancing himself from Trump.

Reelz CEO Stan E. Hubbard said his network “does not endorse Trump’s comments regarding Mexicans. I am not a supporter of Donald Trump for president.”

The Miss USA catastrophe is just one of many that The Donald has gotten himself into by virtue of the announcement of his running for President. Not, his actual running, mind you, but simply the announcement.

Trump said at his campaign announcement that Mexicans crossing U.S. borders are “bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists, and some, I assume, are good people.”

Univision and Televisa dropped Trump and Miss USA like a hot combover. NBC responded to Trump’s statements by issuing one of their own.

“Donald Trump’s opinions do not represent those of NBC, and we do not agree with his positions on a number of issues, including his recent comments on immigration. At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values. Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump.”

And that’s how Donald Trump ran for President and lost his biggest ally in his Miss USA endeavors. Trump claims he is not taking this setback lying down. Speaking on The O’Reilly Factor, Trump said of his former Miss USA partners:

“I just sued Univision for 500 million dollars. It was just filed. The papers were just filed so that will be interesting. Because Univision, I have a signed contract for five years on the pageants they have no right to terminate. They didn’t even send me a letter, they terminated with a PR statement. They called me also – one of the top people at Univision so apologetic, ‘Donald. we shouldn’t be doing this, I know that. We’ll pay you whatever money you need or whatever money you want.’ They have a five-year contract without termination and they terminated with a PR statement so we just sued them for $500 million.”

  • Cheryl Burke Drops Out Of Co-Hosting Miss USA Pageant After Trump’s Remarks On Illegal Immigrants

Cheryl Burke is stepping down from her co-hosting duties for the Miss USA pageant and she was the last to ditch.

Cheryl Burke followed in the footsteps of others involved, like Thomas Roberts and co-hosts of the Univision telecast, Roselyn Sanchez and Cristian de la Fuente.

On Monday, NBC, which co-owns the pageant with Trump, said it would cancel its Miss USA coverage and part ways with Trump in retaliation for remarks he made in his campaign kick-off speech.

Shortly before that, Univision canceled its Spanish simulcast in protest of the same remarks.

During Donald Trumps campaign speech, he stated, “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re sending people that have lots of problems. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

These remarks set off the above-mentioned firestorm, but Donald Trump is not one to back down.

In a response to all of those protesting his statements in one way or another, like Cheryl Burke, Trump said, “People are pouring across our borders unabated. Public reports routinely state great amounts of crime are being committed by illegal immigrants. This must be stopped, and it must be stopped now.”

He continued, “If NBC is so weak and so foolish to not understand the serious illegal-immigration problem in the United States, coupled with the horrendous and unfair trade deals we are making with Mexico, then their contract-violating closure of Miss Universe/Miss USA will be determined in court.”

    #MakeAmericaGreatAgain

He then took one last jab at the network, saying, “[NBC] will stand lying Brian Williams but won’t stand behind people that tell it like it is, as unpleasant as that may be.”

What do you think about Cheryl Burke backing out of the Miss USA pageant?

  • Cheryl Burke, Thomas Roberts Step Down as ‘Miss USA Pageant’ Co-Hosts After Donald Trump Statements

Cheryl Burke and Thomas Roberts have stepped down as co-hosts of the Miss USA Pageant after the recent derogatory statements made by the pageant’s corporate co-owner, Donald Trump.

The former Dancing With the Stars pro took to social media to announce that the pageant would go on, but without her. Thomas Roberts later withdrew from the pageant as well.

“In light of recent statements made by Donald Trump and the subsequent decision by NBC to cut ties with Mr. Trump, I cannot in good conscience move forward with participating in this year’s Miss USA Pageant as its co-host,” Cheryl Burke wrote in a statement on Facebook on Tuesday.

“Effective today I have withdrawn from my duties with Miss USA,” she continued. “Although I will not be there in person, I wish all of the contestants much luck as I know how hard they’ve all been working over the last year to try and realize their dreams.”

Posted by Cheryl Burke on Tuesday, June 30, 2015

Cheryl Burke stepping down as co-host is just the latest in a string of blows the dealt to the Miss USA Pageant. Univision dropped their broadcast of the pageant. Roselyn Sanchez and Cristian de la Fuente stepped down as co-hosts of the Spanish simulcast. NBCUniversal joined in on Monday when they announced they were ending their relationship with Donald Trump.

“To that end, the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants, which are part of a joint venture between NBC and Trump, will no longer air on NBC,” the network said in a statement to Us Weekly, noting that “respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones” of its values. “In addition, as Mr. Trump has already indicated, he will not be participating in The Apprentice on NBC. Celebrity Apprentice is licensed from Mark Burnett’s United Artists Media Group and that relationship will continue.”

Donald Trump ignited all of this backlash with statements he made about people crossing into the U.S. from Mexico.

“They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists,” he said at the time. “And some, I assume, are good people.”

Cheryl Burke, Thomas Roberts, and others in their positions are no doubt saving their own reputations by separating themselves from anything related to Donald Trump.

Are you pleased to see people and companies including NBCUniversal, Univision, and Cheryl Burke cutting their ties from Donald Trump in light of the insensitive comments he made?

Might this spell the end of the Miss USA Pageant or will someone else pick up the pieces and salvage the show?

  • Brandi Glanville Claims She Wasn’t Fired from ‘RHOBH’ for Diva Behavior

Brandi Glanville says she’s never been called a diva in her life, and that that’s not why she was recently fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Just last week, Entertainment Tonight confirmed that Glanville won’t return from the next season of RHOBH. People magazine reports her behavior was the reason she was fired.

“Brandi got too big for her britches. She was a diva, and it came around to bite her,” a source told People. “By the end, she couldn’t get along with anyone, and no one wanted to shoot with her.”

Brandi Glanville begs to differ, and she took to Twitter to defend herself.

She even made note of her successes on Celebrity Apprentice with both Leeza Gibbons and Donald Trump.

Even though ET confirmed her firing, Bravo has yet to officially announce that Brandi Glanville isn’t returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Kim Richards won’t be returning, however, following her stint in rehab, and there’s a rumor going around that says Kathy Hilton may replace sister Kyle Richards.

Do you agree with sources that claim Brandi Glanville is a diva? Do you think that’s why she was fired from RHOBH?

Or do you side with Brandi Glanville on this one? Is she quite simply misunderstood?

  • Donald Trump Regrets Bashing Jeb Bush In Campaign Announcement

Donald Trump, along with many of his fellow Republican candidates, said some pretty harsh things about Jeb Bush.

In fact, in his big campaign announcement speech on Tuesday Donald Trump was a bit harsher than the rest, saying, “I don’t see how he can get the nomination. He’s weak on immigration and he supports Common Core. How the hell can you vote for this guy?”

While bluntness and swagger are just part of Donald Trump’s style, he admitted to CNN‘s Jake Tapper that he regrets being so harsh.

In an interview set to air Sunday during CNN’s State of the Union, Donald Trump said, “I think he’s a nice person. I actually felt bad because I hit him very hard one day like two days ago, three days ago, and I said, why am I hitting him so hard?”

Donald Trump added, “I actually saw myself a couple of days ago and I said ‘…that’s, that’s too rough. Because I really think he’s a nice man, I think he’s a wonderful man.’ I don’t know if I want him negotiating with ISIS.”

Do we really need another Bush in the White House— we have had enough of them.

Of course in true Donald Trump style, he added, “I think Trump will do a lot better. You think so too, but you’re not going to say it.”

During Donald Trump’s announcement, he didn’t just bash his counterparts, he also made some pretty hefty promises.

For example, Donald Trump said, “I will be the greatest jobs president that God ever created. I tell you that. I’ll bring back our jobs from China, from Mexico, from Japan, from so many places. I’ll bring back our jobs, and I’ll bring back our money.”

In one hour I will be making a major announcement from Trump Tower. Watch it live on Periscope!

He also promised, “…I would do various things very quickly. I would repeal and replace the big lie, Obamacare.” and, “I would build a great wall, and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me, and I’ll build them very inexpensively, I will build a great, great wall on our southern border. And I will have Mexico pay for that wall.”

What do you think about Donald Trump’s run for President?

  • Tiffany Trump Seems Supportive Of Dad’s Presidential Run, But Wasn’t Always

Tiffany Trump, Ivanka Trump, Donald, Jr., and all of the other Trump kids were in attendance at Donald Trump’s announcement on Tuesday that he would be running for president.

The younger, and more rarely seen, Trump offspring like Tiffany Trump, 21, and Barron Trump, 9, seemed very supportive of their dad.

But, Tiffany Trump has had her issues in the past with Donald Trump’s presidential aspirations.

Tiffany Trump, daughter of the Donald and his ex-wife, Marla Maples, was devastated back in 2011 at the prospect.

Maples said of Tiffany Trump, “It was a little devastating — the thought of that — for her because she was just being able to step into her own independence.”

Congrats @realdonaldtrump on your announcement! So proud of you! #MakeAmericaGreatAgain

She imitated Tiffany Trump, saying, “My life is going to be over!”

Typical teenage reaction to lots of stuff, but Marla Maples thought it was more than that.

She explained, “She was a little concerned because we’ve had a great life but these are the years they need to go out on their own and if that had happened she would have had people around her at every moment. She wouldn’t have had that chance to find herself.”

Hopefully Tiffany Trump finds it a little easier to swallow now that she’s older.

Tiffany Trump’s sister, Ivanka, was very vocally supportive of her dad’s aspirations.

She recently said, before his decision was made, “I would support him and encourage him wholeheartedly.”

She added, “I have the unique perspective of being by his side every day and understanding how incredibly capable and just want an amazing visionary he is. As a citizen, it would be amazing if he makes that decision.”

What do you think of Tiffany Trump’s shifting support? Do you agree with Ivanka on Trump’s capability?

  • Ivanka Trump Would Vote For Her Dad

Ivanka Trump Would Vote For Her Dad

Ivanka Trump is 100% behind her father’s run for president in 2016.

Ivanka Trump said recently, before Donald Trump announced his bid, that she would support him.

In an interview for CNBC’s Closing Bell, Ivanka Trump declared, “I would support him and encourage him wholeheartedly.”

She added, “I have the unique perspective of being by his side every day and understanding how incredibly capable and just want an amazing visionary he is. As a citizen, it would be amazing if he makes that decision.”

Well, on Tuesday, Ivanka Trump got her wish. Donald Trump threw in his hat to make the 12th presidential contender for the Republican party.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_q61B-DyPk

He made his announcement Trump style, with much fanfare.

Surely Ivanka Trump was proud of the Donald’s rambling speech, which included some major boasting, like, “This is beyond anybody’s expectations. There’s been no crowd like this. And, I can tell, some of the candidates, they went in. They didn’t know the air-conditioner didn’t work. They sweated like dogs. They didn’t know the room was too big, because they didn’t have anybody there.”

He continued of his opponents, “How are they going to beat ISIS? I don’t think it’s going to happen. Our country is in serious trouble. We don’t have victories anymore. We used to have victories, but we don’t have them. When was the last time anybody saw us beating, let’s say, China in a trade deal? They kill us. I beat China all the time. All the time.”

Ivanka Trump didn’t disclose whether or not she would like to be part of her father’s campaign, but it seems she would consider it.

Ivanka Trump said in answer to the question, “Let’s wait to see what he decides. Of course, as his daughter, I would be his strongest advocate.”

What do you think about Donald Trump in 2016?

  • Ivanka Trump Gets Her Wish As Donald Trump Runs For President

Ivanka Trump surely knew. About a week ago the daughter of billionaire Donald Trump told CNBC’s Closing Bell that she hoped her father would run for for President of the United States.

“I would support him and encourage him wholeheartedly,” Ivanka Trump said at the time.

Ivanka Trump felt that her father would be successful as President, and she said she based her opinion on seeing him “as a citizen,” not as a daughter.

“I have the unique perspective of being by his side every day and understanding how incredibly capable and just want an amazing visionary he is,” Ivanka Trump said. “As a citizen, it would be amazing if he makes that decision.”

Well, Ivanka Trump has gotten her wish. Donald Trump came out with all the bombast and hyperbole you would expect from the man who runs Celebrity Apprentice.

“I will be the greatest jobs president that God ever created,” Trump said in his announcement speech.

    His qualifications for being President?

“I’m really rich,” Trump said, claiming he had assets of $9.2 billon and a net worth of $8.7 billion.

Trump compared the U.S. to other countries around the world, declaring he could bring back America’s glory days.

“America is a laughingstock all over the world,” Trump declared. “ISIS, China, Mexico are all beating us. Everybody is beating us.”

“The American Dream is dead,” Trump said. “But if I win, I will bring it back bigger and better and stronger than ever before.”

While Ivanka may see her father as the perfect candidate, Trump’s campaign announcement drew more jokes about the GOP “clown car” of candidates.

Some even point out that running for the office of President brings business benefits to almost anyone who takes on the race, even if they lose. Trump himself acknowledged how great extra press can be for a businessman.

“From a pure business point of view, the benefits of being written about have far outweighed the drawbacks,” Trump wrote.

Trump dismisses polling data that says he doesn’t have a prayer.

“I have learned much more from conducting my own random surveys than I could have ever learned from the greatest consulting firms.”

So, why is Ivanka’s dad running for President?

“I do it to do it,” Trump says. Which is as good a reason as any, I suppose.

  • Brandi Glanville: RHOBH Star Prays for LeAnn Rimes

Brandi Glanville is known for being a rather loud and sort-of conniving star on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But is that how Brandi really behaves when she’s not on TV? If you ask people like Donald Trump and Vivica A. Fox–or maybe even Geraldo Rivera–they will no doubt recall her recent days on Celebrity Apprentice, and they might not know how to answer. If you read Brandi’s latest Bravo blog, however, you might be forced to believe there’s a decent human being inside.

It’s important to recall that Brandi Glanville was once married to Eddie Cibrian, and that he cheated on her with country singer LeAnn Rimes. Cibrian and Rimes have been married for quite some time now, and they have butted heads with Brandi on more than one occasion.

    Now back to that blog.

On Wednesday of this week, Brandi Glanville proceeded to write her post, and in it were some incredibly compassionate passages.

“I’m in my American Airlines’ seat 36 hours later, flying back home from NYC, thankful to be on a safe path home,” Glanville wrote. “My prayers go out to the families and loved ones of the downed German airliner in the French Alps this morning.”

“I cannot imagine the pain being experienced by these families at this moment, which shockingly has led me to add a new person into my flight prayer today…” Glanville continued. “My children’s stepmom. Don’t get me wrong–not everything is yet copasetic, but my children love her, so she is now in the ‘flight prayer,’ differences aside.”

Yes, you read that correctly. Brandi Glanville just prayed for LeAnn Rimes.

Now certainly tragedies like the downed German airliner make lots of people count their blessings, but Brandi Glanville’s situation with LeAnn Rimes is anything but typical.

Are you as shocked as most people must be to learn that Brandi Glanville included LeAnn Rimes in her prayers? Does it show you a side to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star you thought perhaps didn’t exist?

  • Vivica A. Fox Confirmed for ‘Independence Day 2,’ What About Will Smith?

Vivica A. Fox has gone from Donald Trump’s boardroom on Celebrity Apprentice back to the big screen. The actress has signed on to star in Independence Day 2. What about Will Smith? Will he appear in the fit film’s sequel, too?

The film, called ID Forever, will star Liam Hemsworth in addition to Vivica A. Fox. It won’t star Will Smith, however.

Roland Emmerich, the director of both films, took to Twitter to confirm Vivica’s return. Posting a photo of he and the gorgeous actress, Roland wrote, “Exciting news… just officially closed @MsVivicaFox for #IndependenceDay!”

Vivia A. Fox shared her gratitude as well.

In addition to Vivica A. Fox reprising her role as Jasmine Dubrow, Jeff Goldblum will reprise his role as David Levinson. Jessie Usher has been confirmed to headline the film, playing the role originated by Will Smith.

Were you a fan of Independence Day? Will you look forward to its sequel, ID Forever, in 2016?

  • NeNe Leakes, Khloe Kardashian in Running for ‘Fashion Police’ Spot

NeNe Leakes and Khloe Kardashian are reportedly the frontrunners under consideration to fill the spot on Fashion Police vacated last week by Kelly Osbourne. Osbourne left the E! show due in part to the disrespectful comment Giuliana Rancic made about Zendaya’s hair last weekend at the Oscars.

Fashion Police will return, as scheduled, on Friday, March 30 at 9 p.m. and no decisions have been made on her replacement,” a statement from E! reads.

NeNe Leakes appeared on Fashion Police back in 2013, as a guest co-host. She is best known for being on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. In 2011 she was a contestant on Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice.

Khloe Kardashian has been asked before to serve as a host on Fashion Police, but turned the offer down.

“She was supposed to do it last time and passed,” a source explained. “She may consider doing it again but the offer would have to be really high.”

Kelly Osbourne announced she was leaving Fashion Police just days after Giuliana Rancic made the unfortunate comment at the Oscars red carpet about Zendaya’s hair smelling like “patchouli and weed.”

Reps for both NeNe Leakes and Khloe Kardashian were contacted and asked for confirmation that each is under consideration by Fashion Police. Neither rep replied.

Who would you prefer to see take Kelly Osbourne’s spot on Fashion Police? Do you think NeNe Leakes or Khloe Kardashian is better suited for the job?

Or is there someone else besides Khloe Kardashian or NeNe Leakes whom you think could step up and do even better?
