  • El Chapo Out Of My League, Says Dog The Bounty Hunter

Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán is on the run. After being tunneled out of a Mexico prison, then throwing a challenge to Donald Trump via Twitter, the drug kingpin is busy not getting arrested again.

Maybe America’s premiere bad-guy catcher, Dog the Bounty Hunter, can catch El Chapo?

“He probably would be out of my league,” Dog said of El Chapo.

“In order to take him down,” Dog said, “you better have a fully automatic weapon. With my weapon, you have to get really close to him – and you couldn’t get that close to him because he probably has five or six guys with him at all times.”

“[Also], there would have to be two or three of you to take him down because he is going to shoot it out next time. Last time, I heard they surrounded him and gave him a chance to come out.”

But an even bigger obstacle for Dog the Bounty Hunter catching El Chapo is that he could be arrested for trying it. Bounty hunting is illegal in Mexico. Dog himself was once arrested for capturing an American rapist. He got out of Mexico without having to do jail time himself, but he is no hurry to go try his luck again, even if he had a chance of nabbing El Chapo.

“I have learned to stay in my own country,” Dog said. “You can’t even talk about arresting a guy in Mexico.”

El Chapo is a drug kingpin, not a basic drug user. So Dog the Bounty Hunter has no problem seeing him brought to justice. But when it comes to basic users, he has a different philosophy than you might expect.

“Prison is for the violent [criminals] — not for the non-violent or someone who is maybe not educated enough and won’t commit the crime again,” he says. “If it is non-violent, it means that people made mistakes. We are spending so much money on them and we have no room for the killers!”

“I have arrested so many drug addicts that have come to me said, ‘Dog, I don’t want to do it. It is something inside me,’” he says. “Now what if his parents were addicts and it is in his DNA? Well it is. I have arrested third generation drug addicts.”

Dog makes a persuasive argument for not jailing on-violent drug offenders, and it even makes sense financially.

“The guy that gave dope to a little girl, keep him there. But [the non-violent drug users], you gotta get them out. We don’t need to be spending $360 a day. It costs more to keep a man in jail than it does to put that same man through a cheap college.”

  • Dog The Bounty Hunter Hunts MMA Fighter

Dog The Bounty Hunter Hunts MMA Fighter

Dog the Bounty Hunter has been called out to help find a missing San Diego MMA fighter who calls himself War Machine.

War Machine, once known as John Koppenhaver, severely beat his girlfriend, porn star Christie Mack, and the man he found her with on August 8th.

Mack reportedly had 18 broken bones and a ruptured liver.

There is no word on the condition of the man she was with, but War Machine probably didn’t take it easy on him.

Dog the Bounty Hunter will assist San Diego police and the U.S. Marshall service in locating War Machine and bringing him to justice. Dog, also known as Duane Chapman, got involved after a mutual friend of Christie Mack’s contacted him.

“Some of the stuff he did to her was like unbelievable,” Dog the Bounty Hunter said. “This guy is a predator and what’s he going to do to the next girl?”

He issued a deadline for War Machine to turn himself in by Tuesday night. He did not.

Now Dog is about to sniff him out and it won’t be pretty…

“They know Dog Chapman is lurking in the midst, they know I’m coming after them if they issue a reward,” Dog the Bounty Hunter said.

War Machine was a well known MMA fighter and seemed to have an entirely different persona at the gym. Most of those he knew said they have never seen that side of him.

“Kids loved him, parents loved him, I saw a whole other side of the guy,” said San Diego gym owner Joel Rocco, who added that War Machine is no longer welcome at his gym.

It will definitely be interesting to see what happens when Dog the Bounty Hunter catches up with War Machine! What do you think? Will War Machine go peacefully or will he put up a fight?

  • Dog The Bounty Hunter Promises To Go After War Machine For Beating Girlfriend

Duane “Dog” Chapman, better known as Dog The Bounty Hunter by those who follow his reality television series, is offering to go after Jon Kopperhaver, better known as the MMA fighter War Machine, if he doesn’t turn himself into the police. Kopperhaver is accused of beating up his girlfriend, porn actress Christy Mack, which resulted in her suffering a ruptured liver, broken leg, broken nose, missing teeth and 18 broken bones around an eye.

Dog The Bounty Hunter took to Twitter to announce his intentions, saying that Kopperhaver had 24 hours to turn himself in or he would go after him. On August 12, he followed with a countdown of how much time Kopperhaver had left and said, “SEE YOU SOON !!”

Meanwhile Kopperhaver has been denying the allegations that he beat up Mack. He supposedly posted then deleted a tweet implying that Mack had been cheating on him. He claimed that he had only stopped by Mack’s house to propose to her and give her an engagement ring, but was attacked by Mack’s male companion when he arrived. Mack denies that this happened, saying that Kopperhaver dropped by her house unannounced and started attacking the fully clothed male who was with her at the time. She said that he then forced her to strip naked before beating her to a pulp.

Dog The Bounty Hunter is not letting the cheating rumors faze him and ruin his determination in finding Kopperhaver, who is wanted for several counts of battery, assault with a deadly weapon, open and gross lewdness and threats by force. The $10,000 reward that comes with Kopperhaver’s capture is also an added incentive for the 61-year-old bounty hunter to get his hands on the MMA fighter and turn him over to the police.

  • Christy Mack’s Porn Pals Raise Funds For Her Following Vicious Beating

Christy Mack has some good friends in the porn industry.

The porn star’s pals are raising money through crowd funding to help her with the costs associated with reconstructive surgery after she was allegedly beaten by ex-boyfriend and MMA fighter War Machine.

According to TMZ, porn star Kendall Karson started the campaign to raise money so Mack can have surgery to repair her nose, eye socket and other necessary procedures, and has already raised a reported $30,000 of a $100,000 goal via Give Forward.

Jon Koppenhaver — aka War Machine — allegedly found another man at Mack’s home on Aug. 8 when he arrived at her doorstep. Koppenhaver reportedly assaulted the man before the man fled. He then attacked Mack, beating her, cutting her with a knife, and cutting her hair, before she escaped to a neighbors house.

According to a tweet she posted from the hospital, the 33-year-old adult actress suffered 18 broken bones around her eyes. Her nose was also broken in two places, some teeth were knocked out, a rib was fractured, and her liver was ruptured.

Koppenhaver, who defended himself on social media, saying he was there to ask Mack to marry him and the truth will eventually come out, was named as a suspect and Las Vegas police are on the hunt for him.

As if that drama wasn’t enough, Planet Earth’s Dog the Bounty Hunter has reportedly been called in by the Mack family to find the fugitive.

According to TMZ, War Machine was to turn himself in by 7 p.m. Tuesday. Apparently, War Machine did not heed Dog‘s warning, so a future episode may be in the works featuring the search for War Machine by Dog and his badass crew.

Koppenhaver is facing at least seven criminal counts related to the alleged assault.

  • Christy Mack Earns Aid of Dog the Bounty Hunter

At 2:20 am on August 8, Christy Mack’s apartment was invaded by her ex-boyfriend and former MMA fighter Jon Koppenhaver, aka War Machine. As we all know, nothing good happens once one stays out past two o’clock. In this case, Mack experienced perhaps the worst thing that can happen at such an hour – domestic abuse.

The events which transpired last Friday morning are haunting, to say the least. At the end of the altercation, Mack was left with 18 broken bones around her eyes, her nose broken in two places, missing and broken teeth, a broken rib, a severely ruptured liver, a nonworking leg, and multiple lesions and bruises covering her body. In order to bring attention to her plight, Mack took her story to Twitter to share with all of her followers:

(Warning: The events described and the photos included may be disturbing to some readers. Discretion is advised.)

At around 2 am Friday morning, Jon Koppenhaver arrived unannounced to my home in Las Vegas, NV, after he broke up with me in May, he moved out of my house and back to San Diego. When he arrived, he found myself and one other fully clothed and unarmed in the house. Without a single word spoken, he began beating my friend; once he was finished, he sent my friend away and turned his attention to me. He made me undress and shower in front of him, then dragged me out and beat my face. I have no recollection of how many times I was hit, I just know my injuries that resulted from my beating.

My injuries include 18 broken bones around my eyes, my nose is broken in 2 places, I am missing teeth and several more are broken. I am unable to chew, or see out of my left eye. My speech is slurred from my swelling and lack of teeth. I have a fractured rib and severely ruptured liver from a kick to my side. My leg is so badly injured I have not been able to walk on my own. I also attained several lesions from a knife he got from my kitchen. He pushed the knife into me in some areas such as my hand, ear, and head. He also sawed much of my hair off with this dull knife. After some time, the knife broke off of the handle and continued to threaten me with the blade. I believed I was going to die. He has beaten me many times before, but never this badly.

He took my phone and cancelled all of my plans for the following week to make sure no one would worry about my whereabouts. He told me he was going to rape me, but was disappointed in himself when he could not get hard. After another hit or two, he left me on the floor bleeding and shaking, holding my side from the pain of my rib. He left the room and went to the kitchen where I could hear him ruffling through my drawers. Assuming he was finding a sharper, more stable knife to end my life, I ran out my back door, shutting it behind me so the dogs didn’t run inside to tip him off. I hopped the fence to the golf course behind my house and ran to a neighboring house. Naked and afraid he would catch me, I kept running through the neighborhood knocking on doors. Finally, one answered and I was brought to the hospital and treated for my injuries.

I would like to thank everyone for their support through this rough time. I am healing fast and well, and I appreciate all of the prayers and visits I have received over the past few days. After many months of fear and pressure to keep this man happy, although I fear for my life, I feel that I can no longer put myself in this situation. The cheating by him nearly every day, and almost weekly abuse is now more than I can stand. There is a $10k reward for the capture of Jonathan Koppenhaver at this time. Please report any information to your local police.

Since that time, Koppenhaver has not been seen. However, he has taken the time to harass Mack online through Twitter, sending her Tweets expressing his apologies for his actions:

According to Koppenhaver and his brother, the truth is far from what Mack has been sharing with social media. In speaking to BJPenn.com, Michael Eugene Koppenhaver, War Machine’s brother, told his brother’s side of the story, which is ill-conceived at best.

According to Michael Koppenhaver, War Machine and Mack were still together at the time of the attack. He visited her apartment at 2:20 in the morning to surprise her with an engagement ring, only to find her in the bed with another man. Upon seeing War Machine in her apartment, Mack picked up a knife. She, along with her supposed lover, then attacked War Machine, prompting him to fight for his life.

And this man is a trained mixed martial arts fighter who was once employed by the UFC….

A contract the man most likely should have never had considering his previous stints within the United States prison system. In 2010, Koppenhaver was sentenced to one year in a county jail for felony assault. In 2012, Koppenhaver spent another year in prison, this time due to assault in a nightclub.

During his stays in prison, Koppenhaver outlined his disturbing thoughts in online blogs, most of which can be found here. In one disturbing post, Koppenhaver revealed his feelings toward marriage and women:

So it’s Christmas day and I’m laying in my bunk wondering “Why in the hell do American men get married!?” As I write this, there is one guy in here for slapping his wife, one here for yelling at his wife, and one here for beating some guy’s ass that disrespected his wife. WTF!? If your wife is being a bitch you can’t slap her, if your wife is yelling at you, God forbid you yell back, and if some asshole hurts your wife, you can not protect her! LMFAO! What in the FUCK! is REALLY going on!? Next thing you know it will be illegal to fuck your wife! LMAO! Maybe then, MEN in this country will get the fucking hint and MOVE! This country forces you to be a bitch! And then if you resist, you go to jail! And if you give in and become a passive lil’ pansy, your wife is gonna sneak around and get fucked by someone like a single War Machine! HAHA! And believe me, in my day, I have fucked more than one wife who complained about being “sick and tired of wearing the pants in the family.” What a fucking country! De-masculated men left and right, mere sheep for the cowards in political offices to boss around and PLAY tough with. A country that preaches “Violence solves nothing” to it’s masses, but is eager to run off to war with ANY and EVERY country, who refuses it’s verbal bullying.

To add to Koppenhaver’s misogynistic character even more, he once stated that if anything happened to his relationship to Christy Mack after getting her last name tattooed across his neck, he would most likely kill her and simply add an “RIP” above the name to memorialize his dead girlfriend.

Currently, there are multiple rewards out for any information leading to the arrest of Koppenhaver. For one man, rewards don’t get fast enough results, however. Duane Chapman, aka Dog the Bounty Hunter, has enlisted his bounty hunting services to assist Mack bring Koppenhaver to justice. Dog laid down the gamut on Twitter yesterday, and now War Machine is on notice:

Usually, reality television stars are not the ones to turn to during times of trouble. However, anything will do in this attempt to bring Koppenhaver to justice. Let’s hope that the Dog and his team are successful in their search and that Koppenhaver is brought to swift and rightful justice in the near future.

  • Tracy Morgan: Condition Updated Following Fatal Crash

Tracy Morgan sustained critical injuries in a crash very early on Saturday morning on the New Jersey Turnpike. That crash killed his friend and comedy writer James McNair–also known as Jimmy Mack. This new information about Morgan’s condition was only recently released and is the first mention of anything other than a statement noting that he was in critical condition.

A spokesperson–Tracy Morgan’s publicist Lewis Kay–said as of Sunday afternoon that the actor and comedian is “more responsive.” He had surgery on a broken leg early on Sunday and is expected to remain in the hospital for “several weeks.” In addition to the leg on which he had surgery he suffered a broken femur, a broken nose, and several broken ribs. His condition is still deemed critical.

Kay added that Morgan’s family is “tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”

Also critically injured in the crash were Jeffrey Millea, 36, of Shelton, Connecticut, and comedian Ardie Fuqua Jr., 43, of Jersey City, New Jersey. Comic Harris Stanton was treated and released on Saturday.

Ardie Fuqua’s mother Doris visited her son at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital on Saturday.

“We’re hoping for the best,” she said of his condition, adding that she doesn’t know how long he will need to stay in the hospital. “It’s too early to tell.”

Comedian Kevin Hart credits Tracy Morgan for paving the way for him and many fellow comics who now make their livings as entertainers.

“We just want him to get better and to get back to everyone that loves him and get back to doing what he does best, making people laugh,” Hart said.

He tweeted out a prayer request for his fellow comic as well.

Oprah Winfrey’s best friend Gayle King asked her followers to keep Tracy Morgan in their hearts.

Dog the Bounty Hunter, a.k.a. Duane Chapman, also shared his prayer request for Tracy Morgan.

While the news about Tracy Morgan’s present condition sounds more positive it certainly sounds like the SNL alum still isn’t out of the woods. Even once his condition is officially upgraded it sounds like he has several weeks–if not months–of rehab ahead of him.

  • Beth Chapman Yells At Teen, Issued Arrest Warrant

Beth Chapman is used to being able to raise her voice at wrongdoers; as Dog the Bounty Hunter’s other half–both romantically and professionally–she’s tracked down criminals in dangerous situations for years. As the only woman on the team, sometimes it pays to raise her voice. But when she yelled at a passing teenager who was driving too fast past the family’s fishing spot in Colorado, she wasn’t counting on having a warrant issued for her own arrest.

According to TMZ, Chapman allegedly yelled at the teen, calling her a “tramp” and a “whore” among other things. When things escalated, another person who was with the girl flashed a gun at Chapman, who left after calling 911. But the girl and her friend were still there, and because Beth is such a recognizable figure, they were able to file a police report against her for harassment. In Colorado, it’s illegal to taunt or use “coarse language” against someone, so a summons was issued for Chapman to appear in court. However, she failed to show, so now an arrest warrant has been issued for her.

“Perhaps once all the facts are kind of brought to the fore and there’s kind of an overview by law enforcement of what happened, hopefully this matter will be over,” Chapman family attorney Gary Lozow of Denver said. “But assuming that that isn’t an option, she’ll go through the court system, and she’ll be exonerated.”

Chapman’s lawyer says she’s making arrangements to turn herself in. Apparently, the man in possession of the gun wasn’t in violation of any law.

  • Dog The Bounty Hunter Is Coming Back

Dog the Bounty Hunter arrived on our televisions in 2004 and spent the next eight years chasing down thieves, drug addicts, and assorted criminals in Hawaii with his wife Beth and their team. They were criticized, lampooned, and even South Parked–which marked the height of their celebrity. When Matt and Trey make fun of you, you know you’ve made it.

But for all the ribbing they took, the crime-fighting couple ultimately became beloved figures of reality television, with fans tuning in faithfully every week to hear Dog’s take on life as he dispensed wisdom to the guys he was paid to catch, and sympathizing when he lost his daughter in a tragic car accident right when he and Beth were finally about to get married. When the show was cancelled and ended earlier this year, fans were devastated.

However, CMT recently announced that they’ve ordered 10 episodes of Dog’s new project–simply called “Dog” this time around–from Electus. The show will premiere in early 2013. The new show will see Dog and Beth traveling around the U.S. to do their job, and CMT is thrilled about it’s newest acquisition.

“We were aggressive in our pursuit of a show featuring Dog and Beth, one of the most bankable teams in television history,” says Jayson Dinsmore, VP of Development and Programming.

The husband-and-wife team did wonders for A&E when “Dog The Bounty Hunter” was on the air, paving the way for other successful reality shows for the network.

“Dog and Beth are not only great television characters, they are the best bounty hunters in the world, and this show is a natural evolution of their life story,” Electus CEO Chris Grant said.

  • “Dog The Bounty Hunter”: Next Season Is The Last

After eight seasons on A&E, the highly popular show “Dog The Bounty Hunter” is getting the boot.

Dog, otherwise known as Duane Chapman, became an unlikely hero to millions of viewers as the cameras followed him and several family members/co-workers on the hunt for fugitives for his bail bonds company in Honolulu, Hawaii. His larger than life persona–tall, tanned, blonde, usually shirtless–became fodder for more than a few spoofs, as did his wife, Beth. But it seemed to always be done in good humor, with regard for the man who made a living by capturing people who he often deemed down on their luck. After almost every arrest, Dog and Beth made it their business to offer their capture a smoke on the ride to jail, along with some kindly words of advice, which was often coupled with scripture from the Bible. Dog’s bark was truly worse than his bite.

But for as much as the public came to know and love the lovably gruff bounty hunter, they also came to care about his personal life, as it was chronicled on the show because of his family’s involvement with the business. The show saw huge ratings when he finally married Beth after many years and many children together, and fans mourned along with him as he learned his daughter had died in a car accident just a day before the wedding.

No doubt fans will still want more of their Dog even after the show leaves the air, but for now, they’ll have to settle for the upcoming season, which airs next month and will be the last.

Dog the Bounty Hunter was cancelled after 8 seasons. That’s like 56 seasons in Dog the Bounty Hunter years.
