  • Josh Duggar Won’t Appear in New Episodes of TLC’s “Jill and Jessa: Counting On”

Josh Duggar will be conspicuously absent from new episodes of TLC’s Jill and Jessa: Counting On, when it returns on March 15. Even though Josh’s wife, Anna Duggar, will join Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, and John David, Josiah, Joseph, Joy Anna, Jinger, and Jana Duggar in the new episodes the network has ordered, Josh Duggar will only be alluded to in comments about how much the Duggar family suffered in 2015.

The Duggar family starred in TLC’s hit show 19 Kids and Counting for several years before the media caught wind last spring about Josh Duggar having sexually molested five underage girls when he was a teenager. Two of those girls were sisters Jill and Jessa Duggar. Although it has never been confirmed, it is expected that Jana and Jinger Duggar were victimized by Josh Duggar, too. The fifth victim was a non-family member.

Because of the Josh Duggar molestations, as well as Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s alleged attempts to keep the incidents swept under the proverbial rug, TLC cancelled 19 Kids and Counting.

This past summer, Josh Duggar was outed in the Ashley Madison cheater’s website hack, after which he admitted he cheated on wife Anna Duggar with a former porn star. He also admitted to having an addiction to pornography.

While it didn’t seem likely after that news hit the media, TLC wanted Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald back. They drew the most fans during the last year or two that 19 Kids and Counting aired. The network created Jill and Jessa: Counting On, originally airing three special episodes in December. Now it seems Jill and Jessa: Counting On is coming back, with several new episodes on tap.

The show will pick up approximately three months after Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald welcomed baby boy Spurgeon into their world. It will also chronicle some of Jill Duggar and hubby Derick Dillard’s time in El Salvador as Christian missionaries, along with their little boy, Israel.

It’s interesting to note, that in addition to Josh Duggar’s absence, fans aren’t likely to see Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar on Jill and Jessa: Counting On. Even some of the family’s fans can’t condone their actions, or lack thereof.

Will you be tuning in to see Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, Anna Duggar, and more of the former 19 Kids and Counting family when Jill and Jessa: Counting On returns to TLC?

  • Jessa Seewald, Jill Dillard: Duggar Sisters Back on TLC in “Jill & Jessa: Counting On”

Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard are just two members of the Duggar family from 19 Kids and Counting fame who appeared in the first of a three-part TLC special on Sunday evening. Jill & Jessa: Counting On featured the Duggar sisters and various members of the devout Christian family in the aftermath of Josh Duggar’s sexual scandals.

“You always think in the beginning of the year what the year will hold and it hasn’t been what we thought,” Jill Duggar Dillard, 24, said early on in the hour-and-a-half long show, which began with scenes of her and Jessa Duggar Seewald tending to their own families.

The show then ran through Jill and husband Derick Dillard’s–along with baby Israel’s–move to South America, as well as Jessa and Ben Seewald’s preparation for the birth of their son (who was born in November).

After that, the Josh Duggar scandals came into focus–to a degree, anyway.

“We had moved on from there,” Jill said of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal. “To be thrown under the bus was really really hard.”

“You don’t want that rubbed in your face all the time, for everyone else to see. That wasn’t right whoever released that. It shouldn’t have happened,” Jill, who was one of Josh’s victims, added.

Jessa Seewald responded during her own segment on the show.

“There’s an expectation that this family doesn’t have any problems,” she said. “People go digging up old bones. It was so frustrating.”

“There was a period of time in our family where Josh was not to be trusted,” Jessa added of Josh Duggar’s first scandal. Once the family sought counseling, “That relationship was restored between all of us siblings and our parents.”

“Knowing now what Joshua was hiding…it wasn’t right for him to let us speak our words without having the full knowledge of what he was hiding,” Jill Duggar Dillard, thinking back to when she and Jessa supported their brother after word of the first scandal hit the media.

“We were devastated. Over the years Josh had worked really hard to repair our trust in him,” Jessa Seewald said.

Later on in the show, additional 19 Kids and Counting siblings shared their thoughts on Josh Duggar and his scandals.

“It’s probably the toughest time in our life by far,” Jinger Duggar said through tears.

Second eldest brother John-David Duggard shared that “One of the toughest things I had to tell my older brother was, I don’t want to be like you anymore.”

There were some happy moments in Jill & Jessa: Counting On, too. Some of the Duggar sisters went shopping for baby clothes for Jessa and Ben’s then-not-born yet baby. A producer asked Jessa Seewald if the year’s events (meaning, of course, the Josh Duggar scandals) had detracted from the joy of her pregnancy.

    “Of course not,” she said.

“I think that there is hope for our family. There’s going to be a new normal,” Joy Duggar said.

Did you catch Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald–as well as some of their family members–on Jill & Jessa: Moving On Sunday night?

Might the show become a spinoff of 19 Kids and Counting, or has the draw for the Duggar family shriveled up and died?

  • Jessa Duggar Seewald, Jill Duggar Dillard Star in TLC’s Three-Part “Jill & Jessa: Counting On,” How Will It Do?

Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard are headed back to TLC on Sunday in the first of a three-part special series called Jill & Jessa: Counting On. Resurrected from the dust of 19 Kids and Counting in the wake of Josh Duggar’s two scandals, the Duggar family is working hard to make their way back on to TV in a regular show.

Jill & Jessa: Counting will look at Jill Duggar Dillard, husband Derick, and son Israel, as they work as Christian missionaries in Central America. It will see Jessa Duggar Seewald, who gave birth to son Spurgeon, with husband Ben Seewald on November 5th, start her own family.

Coming as a surprise to many, Anna Duggar will appear in the first (maybe more?) of the three specials. She breaks her silence for the first time about Josh Duggar, who cheated on her with a porn star when Anna was seven months pregnant with the couple’s fourth child. While it’s incredibly unlikely that Anna Duggar will discuss anything like that, her appearance alone was unexpected.

TLC cancelled 19 Kids and Counting because of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestations of four of his sisters–Jill and Jessa Duggar confirm they are among his victims–and one unrelated underage girl. This summer Josh admitted to cheating on Anna, as well as to an addiction to pornography when he was outed during the Ashley Madison website hacking scandal.

Prior to the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting, it was plain to see that Jill and Jessa Duggar were the members of the Duggar family with the most draw. Young, pretty, and living lives quite unlike most young women these days, they have a certain intrigue that makes people watch, and at times unable to look away.

Will you tune in to see Jill and Jessa Duggar return to TLC? Jill & Jessa: Counting On airs its first episode on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.

How do you suppose this effort on behalf of TLC to keep the Duggar family on TV will do?

  • Jill Duggar Shares Sexy Shot of Her With Hubby Derick, Starts All-Out Instagram Feud

Jill Duggar shared an unusually sexy photo of her with hubby Derick Dillard on Instagram. Do you suppose she had any idea it would start a social media feud of sorts?

Granted, a photo showing two people kissing is considered risque by 19 Kids and Counting standards, but there truly wasn’t anything offensive about the photo.

“#soinlove @derickdillard,” Jill Duggar Dillard captioned the shot.

A photo posted by Jill Dillard (@jillmdillard) on

Social media trolls couldn’t leave well enough alone, however. They started fighting amongst themselves in the comments section of Jill Duggar’s Instagram post.

“Awwww…..Josh take the pic?” one commenter rudely asked.

“that is very rude what happened is not her fault if you can be so kind to say you regret your post,” another commented on the question.

The comments went back and forth about Josh Duggar, and soon digressed into whether or not Jill Duggar is qualified as a midwife. They wound up with Christians professing their faith and sticking up for the Duggar family.

Jill’s post makes it very clear there are pro-Duggar and anti-Duggar folks just dying to share their two cents worth via social media.

Jill Duggar Dillard and sister Jessa Duggar Seewald will soon be back on TLC. They will star in three TLC specials, titled Jill & Jessa: Counting On. Rumor has it, if the viewership is strong, this could become the 19 Kids and Counting spinoff.

Surely those who commented on Jill Duggar’s Instagram post will have plenty to say about that, too.

Whether you do or don’t support the former 19 Kids and Counting family, one thing is for sure. Each of them has to have very thick skin.

What’s your take on Jill’s photo of her and hubby Derick kissing?

Who can find fault with love?

  • Jessa Duggar: Less Than A Week Until Baby’s Due Date, ’19 Kids and Counting’ Family Celebrates Joy-Anna Duggar’s 18th Birthday

Jessa Duggar has less than a week to go before her due date. She and hubby Ben Seewald are in the final countdown. The former 19 Kids and Counting family is in the midst of several celebrations–the baby being the most exciting by far. The baby is due on the same day Jessa and Ben will celebrate their first wedding anniversary.

Joy-Anna Duggar turned 18 on Wednesday. Jessa Duggar shared birthday wishes with her sister via Instagram.

“Happy birthday, Joy Joy! Love you so much, and I’m so blessed to have you as my sister! ? You light up the world around you and bring love and joy everyone you meet! ? Praying God’s blessings over you in this new year!” Jessa captioned the following photo of Joy-Anna Duggar.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Three days after her baby’s due date, Jessa Duggar Seewald turns 23. Just over a week ago, Jessa’s upcoming motherhood was lauded with a baby shower.

Do you suppose the 19 Kids and Counting family is sick of eating cake?

Jill Duggar Dillard and her family–husband Derick and son Israel–wished Joy-Anna Duggar happy birthday via Instagram just like Jessa.

“We love you joy joy! Happy birthday! #joyduggar,” Jill captioned a picture of her, Derick and Israel holding up a sign for the birthday girl.

A photo posted by Jill Dillard (@jillmdillard) on

Maybe Jessa Duggar will surprise everyone–herself included–and have her baby earlier than expected. In addition to the joy of the baby’s arrival, that would give the Duggar family a few extra days between celebrations.

Can you believe there’s less than a week left until Jessa Duggar Seewald’s due date?

  • Jessa Seewald: Former “19 Kids and Counting” Star Shares Maternity Photo Shoot Via Social Media, Baby “Quincy” Arriving Soon

Jessa Seewald (nee Duggar) posed for a maternity photo shoot in recent days, and posted a few of those photos to share with her fans via social media.

Ben and Jessa Seewald are expecting their first baby on November 1st, and are excited and ready as any new parents for the impending arrival.

Last weekend, Jessa and Ben were lauded at a baby shower. Several members of the 19 Kids and Counting family were in attendance, along with many friends, and the TLC cameras. Jessa Seewald’s baby shower will be featured on one of the upcoming episodes of TLC’s Jill & Jessa: Counting On, set to air in December.

“Ahh! Our maternity photos from @evangelinerenee are in! ? Check them out on our website: www.TheSeewaldFamily.com/MaternityPhotos (or click the link in my bio!)” Jessa Seewald captioned the following Instagram post.

When Jill Duggar Dillard and hubby Derick welcomed son Israel into the world, TLC cameras were on hand. Israel’s birth was featured as a 19 Kids and Counting special. It’s uncertain if TLC cameras will be rolling when Jessa Seewald welcomes baby “Quincy” into the world (that’s what Jessa and Ben jokingly call their unborn baby), but since they were there at the shower, it seems like there’s a good chance they’ll be there for the birth as well.

Are you excited about Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard’s return to TLC in Jill & Jessa: Counting On?

Do you think Jessa Seewald’s baby will arrive on his or her due date of November 1st? That’s the same day Ben and Jessa will celebrate their first wedding anniversary and just three days before Jessa’s 23rd birthday.

The former 19 Kids and Counting family have lots of celebrations in the very near future.

  • Jessa Duggar Enjoys Baby Shower Fun as TLC Cameras Roll, Shares 3-D Ultrasound Pick of Baby “Quincy”

Jessa Duggar Seewald was lauded at a co-ed fall-themed baby shower in recent days, surrounded by many of the 19 Kids and Counting family members and lots of dear friends. Also on the invite list was TLC. They had their cameras rolling for an upcoming episode of the three-episode special that fans (and like the Duggar family, too) hope will become the 19 Kids and Counting spinoff. Jill & Jessa: Counting On will air in December.

Due on November 1st, if Jessa Duggar’s baby arrives on her due date, she and hubby Ben Seewald will have a double celebration. November 1st is their first wedding anniversary.

Recent photos indicate Jessa will soon give birth.

“She’s looking the part,” a source tells People magazine of Jessa Duggar Seewald. “She’s adorable. She didn’t gain any weight in her face at all. She’s absolutely flawless!”

Like sister Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar has shared pregnancy progression photos every few weeks to keep friend and fans apprised of the big countdown.

Jessa Duggar’s most recent post is a 3-D ultrasound of the baby they refer to as “Quincy.” In the post, she compares the baby’s features with her baby picture and one of Ben’s, too.

“Sitting here dreaming about the moment when we will meet our little one face-to-face… and wondering if our baby will carry more Seewald or Duggar characteristics and features! I’m thinking #BabySeewald will be a sweet mix of the two of us! ❤️ What do you think? Just 10 more days till baby’s due date!” Jessa captioned the post.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Jessa Duggar no doubt received many wonderful gifts for her baby at her shower. Since it was co-ed, dad Jim Bob Duggar, brother-in-law Derick Dillard, and of course hubby Ben Seewald were all on hand to join in the fun. Noticeably absent, however, were Josh and Anna Duggar. Josh is in a rehab facility in Illinois, receiving faith-based counseling for his “sexual sins.” Jessa Duggar was one of the siblings Josh Duggar sexually molested when he was a teen. Jessa has also been the most vocal about Josh’s actions. The pain Jessa and Jill Duggar experienced at the hands of Josh through that sex scandal and a more recent one, when he was discovered to have two Ashley Madison accounts on the cheater’s website, and admitted to cheating on Anna Duggar, comes to light in a clip of the upcoming TLC show.

Even though Jessa Duggar will have given birth by then, fans are no doubt looking forward to seeing her feted at her baby shower, surrounded by members of the 19 Kids and Counting family.

The countdown is certainly on for Jessa Duggar Seewald. She has just over a week to go before her due date. Do you think Jill Duggar–who is a midwife–will be on hand for Jessa’s labor and delivery?

Do you predict a baby boy or a girl for Jessa and Ben?

  • Jill Duggar, Derick Dillard Return to El Salvador to Serve as Missionaries

Jill Duggar, hubby Derick Dillard, and their son Israel left Arkansas on Monday to return to El Salvador, where they serve as Christian missionaries.

The family said goodbye in a Facebook post, as well as on their Dillard Family website.

“We had a great visit recently to the States and as always it was a little hard to say goodbye! We are headed back to Central America. In the weeks ahead language school will become much more intense as we work to become fluent in Spanish. It will be many months before we are able to make a short visit back to the States again. Here’s a few pics as we left this weekend. Please keep praying for us–we are praying for you!” the post reads.

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard have come under fire in recent weeks because of the donations they solicited via this same website for their work as missionaries. Some believe they haven’t used the donated funds properly. As a result, Jill and Derick have added a refund button to their website, so that those who feel this way can get their money back.

It has been a bit questionable as to why Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard have made two trips home to Arkansas from Central America since first leaving on their missions trip this summer. On one occasion they attended the wedding of a member of the popular Bates family–another large family with a reality TV show with whom the Duggars are close friends. During that trip Jill Duggar–along with sister Jessa Duggar Seewald and their mom Michelle Duggar–filmed the TLC special on sexual abuse in New York.

This most recent trip to the U.S. no doubt found Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard once again filming for TLC. A clip of some upcoming TLC specials, titled Jill & Jessa: Counting On–set to air in December–was released Monday. This show could eventually become a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff.

In the new clip, Jill Duggar and her sister cry openly about the recent scandals involving brother Josh Duggar, that have rocked the Duggar family to its core.

If the show takes off, it’s likely Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard will make even more trips home to the U.S. for filming, unless TLC opts to send a film crew to Central America to catch Jill and Derick in action as missionaries.

In the meantime, Jessa Duggar Seewald must be heartbroken that Jill Duggar has once again left for El Salvador. Jessa is due to have her first baby with hubby Ben Seewlad on November 1st, and likely hoped midwife sister Jill would be present for the birth.

Do you think if Jill & Jessa: Counting On takes off that TLC might capture some of what Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are doing as missionaries? That might quell the outcry from those who believe the couple has misused donated funds.

  • Jessa Seewald: Sister Jill Dillard Gives Her Prenatal Checkup in “Jill & Jessa: Counting On” Clip

Jessa Seewald is expecting her first baby with hubby Ben on November 1st. In a clip for what may become the 19 Kids and Counting spinoff on TLC, sister Jill Duggar Dillard is seen giving Jessa a prenatal checkup.

Jill was studying to become a midwife when she and husband Derick Dillard, along with their baby Israel, left for Central America to serve as missionaries. No one has yet confirmed why the family is back in the states, but it likely has to do with filming for TLC.

Jessa Duggar Seewald is rumored to be unhappy about all the scandal surrounding the 19 Kids and Counting family because she hoped for a TLC special about the birth of her baby, the way they aired one when Jill Duggar gave birth to Israel. Jessa has denied these rumors, however, and it’s beyond clear she has suffered as a result of her brother Josh Duggar’s actions. Not only have Jessa and Jill admitted they were victimized by their older brother when he sexually molested underage girls as a teenager, they have no doubt been embarrassed and hurt by his more recent sex scandal. Josh Duggar admitted he is addicted to pornography after he was outed during the Ashley Madison website hack. He was found to have two accounts on the cheater’s website, and shortly after admitted he had cheated on wife Anna Duggar while she was pregnant with their fourth child.

In the clip for the new show–which right now is set to air as specials, and not a spinoff–Jessa Seewald and sister Jill Dillard cry over the events that have rocked their family to the core. Jessa Seewald, however, appears determined to find the blessings despite the recent scandals.

One of those blessings for Jessa is the impending birth of her baby. She and Ben Seewald claim they know the sex of the unborn child, but aren’t sharing that information. They jokingly refer to the baby as “Quincy,” which stemmed from initially calling him or her simply “Q.”

Jessa Seewald enjoyed some pre-pregnancy pampering last week–enjoying some time with her mother-in-law, a pumpkin spice drink, and a luxurious pedicure.

“My sweet mother-in-law treated me to a pumpkin spice drink from #MamaCarmens, and Sierra insisted that I get something cheery painted on my toes in prep for labor! Y’all are spoiling me! ??? –with @sierrajodominguez & @seewaldfamily at @mama_carmens,” Jessa captioned an Instagram post highlighting her outing.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Will you check out Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard, along with their husbands, in the TLC specials, Jill & Jessa: Counting On, set to air in December? By then, Jessa Seewald will be a mom.

It will be interesting to learn if Jill plans to be present when Jessa Seewald gives birth.

Do you expect the sisters will draw enough viewers to warrant a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff?

  • The Duggars Return to TLC: Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald Star in “Jill & Jessa: Counting On”

The Duggars are headed back to TLC. The 19 Kids and Counting family lost their reality show following the recent Josh Duggar sex scandals, but TLC no doubt realized the family is the source of many viewers–which translates into big bucks–so they’re giving them another try. Of course not all the Duggars are returning to TLC. Jill Duggar Dillard and sister Jessa Duggar Seewald will highlight the new show–which hasn’t yet been officially called a spinoff. Jill & Jessa: Counting On will initially be aired as specials, but is rumored to become the 19 Kids and Counting spinoff if all goes well.

In a one-minute promo clip that first aired Monday, Jill and Jessa allude to the heartache Josh Duggar has caused them and their families.

“We were devastated,” Jessa says in the clip. “We couldn’t believe it. You have to wonder: How did this happen?”

“You’re angry and hurt and all of those emotions all mixed together,” Jill adds. “I cried a lot of tears. I still do.”

What the clip doesn’t tell viewers about the Duggars is where they now stand with regard to Josh Duggar. Have they forgiven him for both sexually molesting underage girls when he was a teen–Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald among his victims–and more recently for cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar? Are they more upset about his actions or about the fact that people found out about them? Are they angry about the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting?

The new show will reportedly feature members of the Duggars as they pick up the pieces of their lives and move on past the whole Josh Duggar scandal. Jessa Duggar is expecting a new baby and Jill and her family are preparing to raise their son Israel while they serve as missionaries in Central America.

It remains to be seen if other members of the 19 Kids and Counting family will appear on the new show. Of course Jill and Jessa’s husbands, Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald will appear. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, however, are revered in the media with nearly the amount of disdain with which Josh Duggar is regarded. Many believe they covered up Josh’s actions and didn’t get the proper kind of help for their son when he was a teenager.

TLC has yet to announce an official date for the return of the Duggars, but they’ve said the show will air in December. By then, Jessa Duggar and her husband will have welcomed their little one into the world. She and Ben Seewald are expecting their baby on November 1st–the date of their first wedding anniversary.

Will you check out Jill & Jessa: Counting On when the Duggars return to TLC in December?

  • Jill Duggar, Derick Dillard Offering Refunds to Those Who Donated to Their Work as Missionaries

Jill Duggar and hubby Derick Dillard have come under fire in recent months since leaving to serve as missionaries in Central America. Answering a request for donations on their blog page, some who donated have started questioning exactly what they were helping to fund.

Questions first arose when Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard returned home for the wedding of a member of the Bates family–another large Christian family with a reality TV show. They then returned just weeks later for cousin Amy Duggar’s wedding.

Lately, some have wondered if the Dillard Family Ministries–i.e. Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard–are soliciting funds to simply live in a foreign country. Instead of taking Spanish lessons prior to leaving for El Salvador, they have studied while away–leaving many to question the validity of their donations.

Apparently lots of people have complained, because Jill and Derick now offer an option for refunds on their website’s donation page.

In Touch Weekly reported a while back that Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard’s home church in Arkansas didn’t feel their work was sufficient enough to deem them missionaries by their own church’s standards.

While a refund option has appeared on the Dillard Family Ministries site, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are still soliciting donations for their work as missionaries.

What do you suppose is going on with the former 19 Kids and Counting star and her husband? Is their work in Central America legitimate?

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are presently home in Arkansas at this time. Just three days ago she posted a photo of their son Israel in the company of some of the younger 19 Kids and Counting siblings.

“Check out our website for recent pics and a new blog update! www.dillardfamily.com,” Jill Duggar Dillard posted.

A photo posted by Jill Dillard (@jillmdillard) on

Do you think Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are legitimately soliciting donations for their work as missionaries? Or are people funding a missions trip the two simply hope to take some day?

  • Duggar Family Presents United Front Amidst Josh and Anna Duggar Turmoil

The Duggar family of 19 Kids and Counting fame is presenting a united front despite the Josh and Anna Duggar turmoil that is surely raking its crooked fingers down the spines of all its members.

Josh Duggar is in a rehab facility in Illinois. Called Reformers Unanimous, he is seeking therapy for his “sexual sins,” which include an addiction to pornography and cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar.

Meanwhile all appears happy and healthy in the Duggar family–but most understand by now that many appearances on behalf of the Duggar family are just that–appearances.

Josh and Anna Duggar’s son Michael seems to be spending some time with grandparents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar while Anna remains in Florida with her parents. Josh and Anna Duggar reportedly sold their home in Arkansas after he was outed in the recent Ashley Madison cheater’s website hack. Josh Duggar had two accounts on the site.

In a photo Jessa Duggar Seewald posted recently, Josh and Anna Duggar’s son is seen holding Israel Dillard, the son of Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband, Derick.

“When the baby you’re trying to hold is about as big as you are! ?❤️ Sweet little cousins! #MichaelJames #BabyIzzy #IsraelDavidDillard,” Jessa captioned the snapshots.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Despite the turmoil the Duggar family is seemingly trying hard to hide, there will be light following the darkness. Jessa Duggar Seewald and hubby Ben are expecting their first child on November 1st–which is also the couple’s first wedding anniversary. Their lives mirror the kind the Duggar family finds acceptable–unlike that of Josh and Anna Duggar’s, since Anna is reportedly considering divorce–a word not even considered in the former 19 Kids and Counting household.

Jessa Duggar Seewald and her husband might be the redemption of the Duggar family yet. TLC is reportedly planning to air two or three specials that feature them and Jill Duggar Dillard and her family. The Duggar family is no doubt holding out hope for a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff.

Likely holding their breath with regard to Josh Duggar and his recent sex scandals, the Duggar family is likely praying that no more skeletons escape their son’s closet before their daughters sign on the dotted line with TLC.

  • Jessa Seewald Talks Welcoming Baby on ’19 Kids and Counting’ Spinoff Specials Sans Josh Duggar

Jessa Seewald opened up about the upcoming 19 Kids and Counting spinoff specials to air on TLC later this year. Jessa was in Orlando this weekend at the Southern Women’s Show.

“We’re going to be doing some filming preparing to welcome this little one into our lives,” the third-eldest of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s daughters said of the recently-announced specials. “It’s gonna be great.”

Another special will feature Jessa Duggar Seewald’s older sister, Jill Dillard and her husband Derick. They are planning a long-term move to El Salvador, along with their baby boy Israel, where they serve as Christian missionaries.

“We know that our audience is really excited about what’s been going on with Jill and Jessa as they move into young adulthood,” TLC Executive Vice President and General Manager Nancy Daniels said in an interview with the Associated Press last week. “Now they’re both at the precipice of big changes. With what was happening in their lives in the next few months, it felt like now is the time (for the specials), and we got going pretty quickly.”

Jessa Seewald and Jill Duggar became household names on the hit TLC series 19 Kids and Counting. The network cancelled the show this summer because of eldest son Josh Duggar’s first sex scandal. Josh admitted to having sexually molested four of his sisters, plus another non-relative young female when he was a teenager. Two of his victims were sisters Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald.

Jessa and Jill recently appeared on a TLC special about sexual abuse and its victims. Mom Michelle Duggar joined them on the show.

“It is going to take a long time before we forgive,” a source told Entertainment Tonight of how the family is dealing with the recent drama. “We are all still hurt. Josh is still in rehab, nobody is warm and fuzzy to him yet. It still feels like he is a stranger.”

Fans are expecting that these TLC specials featuring Jessa Seewald and Jill Duggar will end up being the 19 Kids and Counting spinoff that was hinted at prior to this latest Josh Duggar scandal. Josh was found to have two Ashley Madison accounts. Shortly after that tidbit of information leaked to the media, Josh admitted to having an addiction to pornography as well as to cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar.

Do you expect there will be enough enthusiasm for Jessa Seewald and Jill Duggar’s TLC specials that a spinoff will be the end result? Fans will certainly love seeing Ben and Jessa Seewald prepare for the birth of their baby.

  • ’19 Kids and Counting:’ TLC to Air Spinoff Specials Starring Jessa Duggar Seewald, Jill Duggar Dillard

19 Kids and Counting is coming back–well, at least a couple of the family members are set to return to TV. A production source announced that they will air specials later in 2015 that focus on Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard instead of the entire Duggar clan. Fans have been hoping against all hope for a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff. Now it sounds like their dreams may come true.

It was just a few months ago that the eldest of the 19 Kids and Counting children–Josh Duggar–admitted to having sexually molested five underage girls, four of whom are his sisters. TLC cancelled 19 Kids and Counting as a result of not just Josh’s actions, but the way parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar handled them. Many people believe the Duggar parents simply swept what Josh did under the rug.

Since the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting, another Josh Duggar sex scandal has hit the media. This time the married father of four has admitted to not only having two Ashley Madison accounts, but to having an addiction to pornography and to cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar.

The Duggars sell, however, so TLC has no doubt decided that in order to make money from the 19 Kids and Counting gang, they must make sure Josh Duggar is nowhere in the picture–hence the likely reason they are choosing to concentrate on sisters Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard.

TLC made an announcement via its Facebook page on Thursday.

New specials focusing on Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald to air on TLC later this year. More in the link below.

The shows–three are in production–will feature Jill Duggar Dillard and husband Derick Dillard, as well as their son Israel. The Dillard family is planning a move to El Salvador, where they presently serve as Christian missionaries. They will also feature Jessa Duggar Seewald and her husband Ben Seewald. They are expecting their first child on their first wedding anniversary, which is November 1st.

“What we will be following in these specials is Jessa preparing for her first child,” TLC Executive Vice President and General Manager Nancy Daniels said during an interview with The Associated Press, “and we’ll be watching Jill preparing to make a major move to Central America with her family, which we know is something our audience will be interested in.”

19 Kids and Counting fans will no doubt be thrilled to learn this news. Even if it isn’t the entire Duggar gang, at least some of the family is headed back to TLC.

If the shows featuring Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard get ample viewership, perhaps part of the 19 Kids and Counting family will stay on TV.

  • The Duggars Didn’t Stay for “Trashy” Part of Amy Duggar’s Wedding

The Duggars gathered their huge brood together on Sunday to attend cousin Amy Duggar’s wedding to Dillon King. Jill Duggar Dillard and her family even flew home from Central America, where they are serving as missionaries, to join in celebrating Amy’s big day. Jessa Duggar Seewald–who is boasting a rather sizable baby bump these days– and her hubby Ben were there, too. Josh Duggar didn’t attend, as he is in a Christian rehab facility receiving therapy for sexual sins. His wife Anna Duggar attended, however, along with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.

It was only a couple of songs into the reception, however, before the Duggars wished Amy and Dillon well and took their leave. According to People magazine, the Duggars left before the reception went from “classy to trashy real quick.”

Amy Duggar says the former 19 Kids and Counting Duggars left shortly after the music at their wedding reception began, and the real partying kicked in.

“They left right when the music was starting,” Amy Duggar–who now goes by the last name of King–said. “They stayed for two songs or so. It was country so they probably dealt with it.”

Once the Duggars left, the “trashy” part of the reception started.

“The lights went down, the disco lights came up. Everybody kicked off their shoes,” Amy said. “It went from classy to trashy real quick, which was the best!”

“We broke out the bar as soon as my family left. The champagne was chilled, we had whiskey, mixed drinks, everything. It was so fun,” she added.

The Duggars must have caused all eyes to turn in their direction when the lot of them–at least 25 people–left the reception hall at the same time.

Do you suppose Amy Duggar, Dillon King, and their wedding guests had a much better time after the Duggars left?

  • Jill Duggar Dillard and Husband Accused of Scamming People Who Funded Their Mission Trip

Jill Duggar and hubby Derick Dillard have come under fire in recent days, with some folks thinking they’ve scammed them out of money donated toward their mission trip to Central America.

It was last week when the Dillard family once again touched down on U.S. soil–their second trip home this summer–for the wedding of 19 Kids and Counting cousin Amy Duggar to Dillon King. Several people who donated money for the couple’s missionary work via their website seem a bit perplexed by two trips home to the U.S in such a short period of time.

“So what exactly are you doing to help people in El Salvador? Your donors would like a detailed statement of what their money is being used for,” one Facebook comment reads. “As far as I can see, all you guys are doing is going to Spanish class and making fun of the locals. Oh, I forgot. You also did that stupid interpretive dance thing. Have you done anything worthwhile to actually help people, or are you just there to convert Catholics?”

“Jill, how did you spend my donation for your mission trip?” another user asks. “Where are the pictures of the hospital, schools and bible studies you helped with? Can you post them so I can show everyone why I donated to your cause?”

Jill Duggar Dillard posted a throwback photo for Throwback Thursday via her Instagram account. Might it be in response to those questioning exactly what she and her husband are doing in Central America?

“My heart aches for the hardships these people are facing daily due to pressure and violence from the gangs. Please pray for their safety!” she wrote. “We look forward to returning there to continue ministering after language school!” she captioned it.

Jill Duggar’s husband, Derick Dillard, posted to their Dillard Family website on Thursday, too, updating followers on why the family is back in the U.S.

“Jill, Israel, and I recently arrived back in the States for a planned, month long trip to take care of some things and enjoy time with family and friends while we’re here, before heading back to Central America,” he wrote.

Jill Duggar Dillard and her family attended Amy Duggar and Dillon King’s wedding with most of the 19 Kids and Counting family. Josh Duggar didn’t attend, as he is said to be at a rehab facility called Reformers Unanimous receiving therapy for his sex addiction. Earlier in the summer Josh made news for having sexually molested five underage girls when he was a teen. Jill Duggar and sister Jessa Duggar Seewald were among his victims. More recently, Josh Duggar admitted to having an addiction to pornography and to cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar.

Hopefully there is no truth behind some of the innuendoes about Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard misappropriating funds they received for their work as missionaries.

Do you believe either Jill Duggar Dillard or her husband would do such a thing?

  • Jill Duggar, Derick Dillard Attend Wedding of ‘Bringing Up Bates’ Stars

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard were spotted in New York City just days ago, and now the media has learned the former 19 Kids and Counting couple–along with their infant son Israel–attended the wedding of members of another large Christian TV family in Tennessee.

Michaella Bates married Brandon Keilen in Knoxville this weekend. Bringing Up Bates is an UPtv show that features a couple who raises 19 children in Rocky Top, Tennessee. Sounds an awful lot like 19 Kids and Counting, doesn’t it? Members of the Bringing Up Bates family have appeared on 19 Kids and Counting in the past.

When Jill Duggar and her family were spotted in New York City just days ago, fans wondered if they had finished their work as missionaries in El Salvador.

Jill Duggar clarified that in an Instagram post she shared with her followers on Sunday. It is clear in the photo that Joy Duggar and Carin Bates are accompanying Jill and Derick on their mission trip this time.

“Traveling back to Central America with these two! #joyduggar #carlinbates,” Jill captioned a photo.

Do you suppose in light of the 19 Kids and Counting cancellation that Bringing Up Bates will see an increase in viewers for their show?

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard left the country on their mission trip before the family’s reality show was axed. TLC cancelled 19 Kids and Counting due to Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal. Jill Duggar admitted in a TV interview that she was among her brother’s victims.

Hopefully this time away as missionaries will serve to strengthen Jill Duggar’s faith. Now she will have the opportunity to share her beliefs and her work with sister Joy Duggar and a friend from the Bringing Up Bates family, too.

Jill Duggar and her sister Jessa Duggar Seewald will appear on TLC soon in a documentary about sexual abuse victims.

  • Jill Duggar, Derick Dillard Back in U.S., Spotted in NYC With Jessa Duggar

Jill Duggar and her hubby Derick Dillard have left Central America where they served as missionaries and have returned to the United States. In fact, they were spotted in New York City on Thursday.

Carolina J. Moreno is an editor for The Huffington Post. She saw Jill Duggar, along with her sister Jessa Duggar Seewald, and their mom Michelle Duggar at the M&M store located in Times Square. Moreno shared word of her 19 Kids and Counting family member sighting via Twitter.

A few minutes later Moreno Tweeted yet another message.

It is believed that Jill Duggar, Jessa Duggar Seewald, and Michelle Duggar are likely in New York City where filming for TLC’s special on sexual abuse is taking place. It’s uncertain if Michelle Duggar will appear in the documentary or if she is just along for support.

TLC recently cancelled 19 Kids and Counting because of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal, but said they would be featuring both Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard in the upcoming documentary.

Earlier on Friday, Jill Duggar posted a photo of herself, her husband and their baby boy Israel on a plane.

    “Traveling!” she captioned the photo.

It’s uncertain if the Dillard family is traveling back to Central America or if their duties as missionaries were fulfilled when they traveled to New York City.

Surely Michelle Duggar will soon update all on the family’s latest escapades via the Duggar Family website.

Do you think Jill Duggar, sister Jessa Duggar Seewald, and the rest of the gang spotted in New York City are all back in Arkansas by now?

The TLC special featuring Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald is supposed to air some time in August.

  • Jill Duggar Dillard, Husband Derick Mark First Month on Mission Trip

Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband Derick marked the passing of their first month serving as missionaries in Central America on Wednesday.

The former 19 Kids and Counting star shared word of their celebration via social media.

Sharing a picture of herself with her hubby and their four-month-old baby boy Israel, Jill Duggar thanked those from all around the world who have prayed for their success as missionaries.

“¡Hola amigos! Thank you for your prayers and support! It’s been one month since we departed the U.S. for Central America,” she captioned the happy shot.

A photo posted by Jill Dillard (@jillmdillard) on

Jill Duggar also shared the link to the website she shares with Derick.

Jill Duggar wasn’t the only family member to share their missionary experience on social media. Derick Dillard posted a picture on Instagram as well.

“One month ago today we arrived in Central America! It’s been quite the adventure adjusting to life here. Thank you for your prayers and support! To keep up with our family, checkout dillardfamily.com/blog,” he captioned the photo of himself with Jill and Israel in what looks like a public market.

Fans are no doubt thrilled to get these update on Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard, and to see photos of how much baby Israel has grown in the past month.

Jill and Derick left the U.S. after the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal hit the media, but before TLC cancelled her family’s reality show, 19 Kids and Counting.

Do you think semi-isolation in Central America might be best for Jill Duggar at this point in time? It certainly sounds less chaotic and angst ridden that what her family–most especially parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar–are experiencing back here at home.

  • Jessa Duggar Seewald Shares Photo of Niece Meredith Grace Duggar, Josh and Anna Duggar’s New Baby

Jessa Duggar Seewald is one proud aunt. The former 19 Kids and Counting star, who just a week ago compared bellies with sister-in-law Anna Duggar, has a new niece.

Josh and Anna Duggar welcomed their fourth child–Meredith Grace Duggar–into the world on Sunday, and Jessa Duggar has a new photo to share.

Jessa Duggar Seewald and her husband Ben are expecting their first child in November. Anna Duggar won the contest for the bigger belly.

It was via Instagram that Jessa shared the photo of her new niece with all of her followers.

“My beautiful niece! So excited to welcome little Meredith Grace Duggar into the world! 7lbs 14oz, 20 1/2 inches long!” she captioned the shot.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Jessa Duggar’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, were the first to publicly announce the birth of Josh and Anna Duggar’s new baby.

The short video clip is posted on The Duggar Family website.

Shortly after the Duggar grandparents shared word of Josh and Anna’s new baby, Josh Duggar himself shared word of his daughter’s birth via Twitter.

A little later Josh Duggar shared a close-up of baby Meredith Grace.

Jessa Duggar is no doubt excited about getting her hands on little Meredith Grace as practice for when her own baby is born. She was a hands-on aunt to Jill Duggar Dillard and Derick Dillard’s baby boy Israel when he was born, and until the family left for Central America to serve as missionaries.

Anna Duggar will no doubt allow Jessa Duggar to practice as often as she wants with Meredith Grace. Anna has her hands full, as this new baby makes four children for her and Josh.

  • Jill Duggar: Sister-in-Law Anna Duggar Has Baby Girl

Jill Duggar is in Central America, working alongside husband Derick Dillard as a missionary. Back home in Arkansas, Jill’s sister-in-law Anna Duggar gave birth to a baby girl this weekend. Jill is no doubt missing the excitement her family is experiencing.

Since Jill Duggar was in training to become a midwife prior to leaving the country, she likely would have helped Anna Duggar through at least some stages of her labor.

Jill had planned on delivering her own baby, son Israel Dillard, at home. Complications, however, sent Jill Duggar to the hospital where she had a C-section instead.

Jill Duggar and her husband recently updated their fans on their mission trip via their blog, saying the people in the Central American country where they’re working are fascinated with their baby boy. It is unusual for people to see white babies in that country, so they have taken a great interest in little Israel. Jill and Derick also shared in their blog post about converting an elderly woman to Christianity–which is what their mission trip is all about.

Surely by now Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard have seen the photo that Josh Duggar shared of new baby Meredith Grace. He took a picture of himself with Anna Duggar and the new baby and shared it via social media earlier on Sunday.

Josh also shared this precious shot of baby Meredith Grace.

Do you think the birth of Anna Duggar’s baby is making Jill Duggar homesick?

It’s uncertain how long she and Derick Dillard plan to stay in Central America.
