Emily Deschanel and David Boreanz have starred in Bones since it premiered on Fox back in 2005. The actors will soon be hanging up their hats–at Fox, anyway–when Bones ends during its upcoming 12th and final season. This news comes on the heels of Emily Deschanel and David Boreanz–along with executive producers Barry Josephson and Kathleen Reichs–claiming Fox owes them money, having shortchanged them for their time on Bones. That reportedly didn’t factor into the announcement that the upcoming season will be the last.
