  • Gina Carano And Henry Cavill Break Up Again

The MMA fighter turned actress and the Man of Steel have officially ended their relationship, according to E! News. A source revealed that Gina Carano and Henry Cavill actually broke up “a while ago,” even though the news is just breaking today.

The former Mixed Martial Artist and the British actor began dating in the fall of 2012. The couple split up in the summer of 2013, and Cavill began a short fling with Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco, who later told Cosmopolitan that she was not prepared for the baggage that came with dating the Man of Steel. “I had no one following me until I met Superman. I’ve been in this business for 20 years, and my whole life, I could go anywhere, do anything,” Cuoco admitted. “There had not been one paparazzi photo of me until like several months ago. The recognition was crazy.”

Cavill and Carano reunited in the fall of 2013 and even adopted an Akita puppy from a breeder in Arkansas. The handsome couple apparently made a big impression on the breeder, “It was so great working with Henry and getting to meet him as well as Gina was truly a treat,” the breeder said. “Both Henry and Gina are genuine and a joy to be around. It was truly an honor to add them to our extended family and thank them for their patience in meeting us and our children. It’s not everyday that an A-list celebrity, much less 2 celebrities, come to Beebe, AR to visit.”

Both Cavill and Carano will be busy professionally over the next couple of years. Cavill will put back on the Superman suit and square off against Ben Affleck for the epic blockbuster movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is scheduled to hit theaters in March 2016. Additionally, two Justice League movies have already been announced for 2017 and 2019.

It was also reported today that Carano will join fellow MMA fighter Georges St. Pierre and WWE superstar Dave Bautista in a remake of the 1989 movie Kickboxer, which starred Jean Claude Van Damme.

  • Kate Bosworth Says Working With Robert De Niro and John Travolta Was the Highlight of 2014

Kate Bosworth says working with Robert De Niro and John Travolta was the highlight of her year.

In a recent interview with E! Online, the 31-year-old actress said working with the actors made 2014 extra special.

“I’m feeling blessed with so much work!,” said Bosworth. “I just wrapped two films back to back: Life on the Line with John Travolta and Bus 657 with Robert De Niro. It doesn’t get better than these greats and I felt fortunate for every moment to learn from them.”

Life on the Line is an indie drama which centers on “a crew of eccentric linemen who do the dangerous high-wire work of fixing the electrical grid, struggle to hold on to the women they love, until a massive storm threatens to rip their lives apart.”

Bus 657, which also stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Gina Carano and Dave Bautista, “centers on a father (Morgan) without the means to pay for his daughter’s medical treatment. As a last resort, he partners with a greedy co-worker (Bautista) to rob a casino and the two hijack a bus full of hostages and things go awry. De Niro will play Frank ‘The Pope,’ owner of the casino, and Bosworth plays his estranged daughter. Carano is a policewoman in pursuit of the hijacked bus,” according to Deadline.

Meanwhile, Bosworth is busy promoting her new shoe collection in collaboration with the brand Matisse and shared her creative process with E! Online.

“I have always been attracted to fashion that is transitional, meaning designs that carry a woman from season to season, from day to night. That was a significant part of the thought process for this collection. I wanted to think about footwear that is directional and also comfortable. This is also very much in line with the Matisse customer: You can wear the “Charlotte” star boots with jeans for a more casual, classical approach or pair them with a skirt or dress for a trendier look,” the actress told E!.

“I feel footwear should be able to transcend one look—it should also be functional in a sense that a woman can wear a style in many different ways. This is the type of footwear that exists in my own wardrobe, items that I feel confident investing in.”

The collection, which will be available in Spring 2015, features 10 different styles of boots, clogs, sandals and mules.

  • Monica Bellucci Is the Next Bond Girl in ‘Spectre,’ Director Sam Mendes Confirms

Monica Bellucci will be the next Bond girl, confirmed director Sam Mendes this morning at a photo call at Pinewood Studios in England.

The director also revealed that the 24th installment of the franchise, which will once again feature Daniel Craig as 007, has been named Spectre.

Mendes made the announcement Thursday morning from the 007 stage at Pinewood Studios where the film will shoot. Other locations include London, Rome, Mexico City, Tangier, Erfoud and the Austrian Alps.

According to Deadline, the Bond creators have been eyeing the 50-year-old Italian beauty, who plays Lucia Sciarra, to star in a Bond film for a very long time.

According to the studio, the plot will focus on something from Bond’s past.

“A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.”

Other confirmed cast members for the latest Bond installment include Christoph Waltz, Andrew Scott, Dave Bautista and Léa Seydoux. Others to reprise their roles are Rory Kenner as Tanner, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Miss Moneypenny and Ralph Fiennes as the new M.

Oscar-winner Waltz will play Oberhauser, while Blue Is The Warmest Color‘s Seydoux is Madeleine Swann. Guardians Of The Galaxy‘s Bautista will play Mr Hinx and Sherlock‘s Scott is Denbigh.

Bond’s Aston Martin DB10 was reportedly designed especially for Spectre.

Cinematographer Hoyte Van Hoytema, of Interstellar, will shoot the film with Mendes. Lee Smith, also of Interstellar, will edit the film.

  • Bond 24 Has Found Its New Villain, Christoph Waltz To Play Role

Bond 24, which is the working title for the new James Bond film, has found its villain. According to The Daily Mail, Christoph Waltz has signed on to play a character who is believed to be the antagonist in the film. “It’s not immediately evident whether the part’s friend, or foe, or a bit of both,” The Daily Mail’s Baz Bamigboye said. One thing’s for sure though, the character he will play is a cunning “nemesis of sorts”.

The role that will played by Waltz in Bond 24 is reportedly the same role Chiwetel Ejiofor was previously in talks for before he dropped out of the project. Aside from Waltz, Lea Seydoux of Blue Is the Warmest Color will be joining the film as a femme fatale while wrestler, Dave Bautista, who starred in the box office hit Guardians of the Galaxy, will be playing the key henchman.

Sam Mendes will be directing Bond 24, which is a direct follow-up to the highly successful Skyfall. Daniel Craig will reprise his role as James Bond and he will be joined by returning cast members Ben Whishaw, Ralph Fiennes, and Naomie Harris, who will be playing the roles of Q the quartermaster, M, and Miss Moneypenny respectively.

According to The Daily Mail, the cast of Bond 24 will be meeting for a script read-through before they start shooting in December. Sam Mendes will be present as well as the film’s writers to talk the cast through the film’s key moments including the action sequences.

Because of his involvement with Bond 24, Waltz won’t be joining Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight, which will begin shooting at around the same time as the 007 flick. It is worth noting that Waltz collaboration with Tarantino on the films Inglorious Basterds and Django Unchained has been fruitful to say the least.

Bond 24 is scheduled to be released on November 16, 2015.
