  • Erin Andrews: Fox Sports Reporter and ‘DWTS’ Co-Host to Co-Host CMT Awards With ‘Pitch Perfect 2’s’ Brittany Snow

Erin Andrews is finished with one recent co-hosting job, so it’s only fitting she’d take on another. Just a couple of weeks following the Dancing With the Stars season finale, where she watched Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy win mirror ball trophies, Andrews has landed in Nashville, where she’ll join Pitch Perfect 2 star Brittany Snow in co-hosting the 2015 CMT Music Awards. The show is set to air on June 10th.

“Being a huge fan of country music, the CMT Music Awards are one of my favorite events of the season,” Erin Andrews said in a recent statement to Us Weekly. “I cannot wait to be around all the talented artists and bands and look forward to being a part of such a great event.”

It seems Brittany Snow is an avid country music fan, too–as well as a fan of Erin Andrews.

“As a longtime fan of CMT and the CMT Music Awards, I’m thrilled to join Erin in hosting what’s sure to be one of the most memorable musical nights of the year,” she said.

Some of the biggest names in country music will take the stage along with Erin Andrews and Brittany Snow at the 2015 CMT Awards on Wednesday night, including Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, and more. On Monday it was announced that Reba McEntire and Darius Rucker have joined this impressive lineup of performers and presenters.

Carrie Underwood leads the pack with five CMT Award nominations.

The 2015 CMT Music Awards will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, June 10, at 8 p.m. ET.

Will you be tuning in to catch Erin Andrews and Brittany Snow as they host the 2015 CMT Music Awards tomorrow evening?

  • Reba McEntire to Return to CMT Awards Stage for First Time in Ten Years

Reba McEntire is returning to the CMT Awards stage on Wednesday night for the first time in ten years. She and Darius Rucker were just announced as additions to the night’s performance lineup.

A whole slew of country music greats will both perform and present during the evening, but not many have the longevity and popularity in the country music world as that of Reba McEntire.

The 2015 CMT Awards will take place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Erin Andrews of Fox Sports and Dancing With the Stars fame, along with Pitch Perfect 2’s Brittany Snow will serve as co-hosts for the event.

In addition to Reba McEntire and Darius Rucker–he will perform outside the arena–other acts at Wednesday night’s CMT Awards include Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, and Sam Hunt. Lady Antebellum take the stage, too, alongside DJ-producer Zedd for a very special country-EDM mashup.

CMT Awards presenters include Arnold Schwarzenegger (not a name many associate with country music–but ok), Billy Ray Cyrus, Cole Swindell, David Spade, and Hunter Hayes.

Carrie Underwood is leader of the CMT Awards pack, with five nominations.

It’s uncertain what Reba McEntire will sing, but it’s also quite likely that fans don’t care. Just seeing her perform on the CMT Awards stage is more than enough–for those in the audience as well as viewers at home.

Will you tune in to the CMT Awards on Wednesday evening at 9:00 p.m. ET to see Reba McEntire and a big lineup of other country music performers, nominees, and award recipients?

  • Ric Flair: Darius Rucker Respects His Old School Style

Ric Flair is a wrestling legend and two-time WWE Hall of Fame inductee. He has trained numerous other wrestlers and still makes appearances in the ring every now and then. One of the things that makes Ric Flair so interesting is his old school style of wrestling.

Flair was trained by wrestler Verne Gagne and while not everyone appreciates his wrestling style, he definitely has a fan in Darius Rucker.

Rucker recently talked about one of his favorite things to do as a young man, watch professional wrestling. He said that Ric Flair was his favorite wrestler and that his favorite thing about him was his old school style.

“Ric Flair was such a huge part of my childhood and teen years. He’s an icon,” Rucker said.

Rucker also explained how big of a fan he is of Flair and talked about the time he wanted to buy a robe that Flair had worn in the ring and that was being auctioned off.

“Years ago at the Jimmy V (celebrity golf tournament), Ric auctioned off one of his robes. I just turned to my band and said, ‘I’m getting this. I don’t care what it cost me … I’m getting this,’” he said.

“It was a live auction, and this other guy really wanted it. But I wanted it a little more. It got up there pretty high. It cost me a pretty penny, but it was worth it.”

Rucker has a pretty nice sports memorabilia collection, but says that the Ric Flair robe is his favorite piece.

“I’ve got some great stuff in my sports memorabilia collection. But my favorite thing by far is the robe. I actually have a Ric Flair robe with ‘the Nature Boy’ on the back. That’s awesome. When I look at it, it brings back so many memories of my childhood and my teen years,” Rucker said.

  • Darius Rucker: Racist Tweet Gets Response ‘So The World Can See It’

In the last few years, former Hootie & the Blowfish singer Darius Rucker has been refashioning himself as a country music artist. And a recent performance and the surprising reaction on Twitter led Rucker to express disbelief at the racism happening in the year 2013.

One Twitter user took issue with Rucker recently covering the Bob Dylan-inspired Old Crow Medicine Show hit “Wagon Wheel” at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.

“Leave the country to white folk,” said user @pqkullman.

“WOW is this 2013 or 1913,” tweeted Rucker. “I’ll take my Grand Ole Opry membership and leave your racism. Wow.”.

He was then asked why he responds to racists on Twitter:

Since Sunday, Rucker has had to battle even more pointed racist tweets. Like this one, for instance:
