  • Emma Stone, Bradley Cooper Star in ‘Aloha’

Emma Stone and Bradley Cooper star in a new romantic comedy called Aloha. They are joined by a star-studded cast, including Rachel McAdams, Bill Murray, Alec Baldwin, John Krasinski, and Danny McBride. The first official trailer for Aloha was released this week.

Written and directed by Jerry Maguire’s Cameron Crowe, Aloha not only features a robust cast, but a gorgeous backdrop–set in Hawaii, obviously, as well. Bradley Cooper portrays a military contractor who returns to Hawaii, where he experienced his greatest career triumph as well as a broken heart at the hands of with his former girlfriend–played by Rachel McAdams. His character finds himself reconnecting with his ex while falling for an Air Force watchdog who is assigned to him. She is played by Emma Stone.

Emma Stone has been busy. Not only has she been working on Aloha, she has also been playing Sally Bowles on Broadway in Cabaret. She hands the reins to that role over to Sienna Miller, however, beginning on February 17th–leaving her open for even more new roles.

Check out the trailer for Aloha.

MTV.com probably sums up Emma Stone’s role in Aloha best.

“Emma Stone is so stratospherically adorable as a peppy military liaison that it might cause overheating in the cockles of your stony, gray heart.”

Will you be checking out Emma Stone and Bradley Cooper on the big screen in Aloha? The film is set to hit theaters in May.

  • Megan Fox to Star Opposite James Franco in Film Adaptation of Acclaimed Novel ‘Zeroville’

Megan Fox has signed on as the female lead in Zeroville, starring opposite James Franco, who is also directing.

The film is an adaptation of the novel by the same name written by Steve Erickson and follows a film-obsessed man named Ike (Franco), who arrives in Hollywood in 1969 hoping to break in to the business. He arrives at just the right moment — when the industry is taking a turn for the better.

Fox will play a Hollywood starlet with a sordid past, who becomes the romantic interest and obsession of Franco’s character.

In the era of sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll, Ike gets his dream job as a film editor. Through his journey in 1960s Hollywood, he encounters the gambit of stereotypical characters, ranging from former starlets, burglars and political guerrillas to musicians and veteran filmmakers.

  • ‘Sons of Anarchy’ Creator Talks Casting Manson, Love

Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter discussed the casting of rock stars Marilyn Manson and Courtney Love for the seventh season of the hit FX motorcycle gang drama at the Television Critics Association Summer Tour in Beverly Hills.

Sutter commented, “I tend to do this every season, I like to do some casting that’s a little bit outside the box, you know, from Stephen King to David Hasselhoff – we try to do stuff that’s fun.”

Regarding Manson’s casting, Sutter explained, “Manson (and) I became friends with through some music buddies and he’s a huge fan of the show and that was him basically just wearing me down and we found a great role for him and he’s great.” Manson’s character is described by FX as a “white supremacist prison shot-caller who Jax [Charlie Hunnam’s character] uses to expand his power base.”

Commenting on his Sons gig, Manson said, “‘Sons’ has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father’s. So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of ‘SOA’ is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle.”

Manson, born Brian Hugh Warner, also recently hounded Eastbound and Down creator Danny McBride for a spot on that show, and got his wish:

Regarding the casting of Courtney Love, Sutter said he doesn’t know Love too well, but they met a few times and she had expressed interest in being on the show. “And then, we had this role of a school teacher and I thought, ‘Who better than Courtney Love?’ and so it sort of fits into our parameters of Sons of Anarchy casting,” Sutter remarked.

Love will first appear in the fourth episode as Ms. Harrison, the pre-school teacher of main character Jax’s (Charlie Hunnam) eldest son Abel.

Sons of Anarchy season 7 premieres September, 9 at 10 PM ET/PT on FX.

  • Marilyn Manson Makes Odd Cameo on Eastbound and Down

“Can I take your trash?” Talk about awkward. You know may know Marilyn Manson as a cross-dressing, goth, cult-figure with a face covered in thick makeup. But if you tuned into HBO’s comedy series Eastbound and Down on Sunday night, you got the opportunity to see Manson as a nerdy waiter at a roller rink.

If you missed the Antichrist Superstar singer’s 20-second cameo, you can now check it out for yourself:

It was just a month ago when we first heard that Manson, whose real name is Brian Hugh Warner, was a huge fan of Eastbound and Down. The show’s star, Danny McBride, decided to give the goth-singer a small cameo in one of the scenes.

It all stemmed from a 2010 interview with Vulture.com when McBride described the oddness of Manson actually being a huge fan of the show. “It was pretty insane that Marilyn Manson was a fan of the show. He came to the season-two premiere. Jody and I are both fans of his and it was just nuts that he would watch. For some reason, I don’t imagine Marilyn Manson sitting on a couch watching TV. I picture him hanging out in a torture chamber or something. We were definitely flattered and creeped out and felt great that he liked the show.”

The 44-year-old is not a total stranger when it comes to acting. He made his big screen debut in David Lynch’s surreal neo-noir Lost Highway in 1997. In addition, Manson has appeared in both cameo and minor roles, including the independent films Jawbreaker in 1999 and Party Monster in 2003. Manson also recently appeared as himself in the Showtime television series Californication .

The series Eastbound and Down is about a washed up, rude, obnoxious, mullet-sporting former professional relief pitcher played by McBride. It is currently airing its fourth and final season on HBO. The show is co-produced by Will Ferrell and plenty of A-list stars including Matthew McConaughey and Don Johnson have appeared on the series.

  • Marilyn Manson Unrecognizable in Cameo Appearance

Marilyn Manson’s signature trademark is his intense make-up. However, the 44 year-old, gothic rocker, was photographed while on the set of the HBO series, “Eastbound & Down”, with no make-up and actually looking quite normal.

“It was pretty insane that Marilyn Manson was a fan of the show. He came to the season-two premiere. Jody and I are both fans of his and it was just nuts that he would watch,” Danny McBride, the star of the series, said. “For some reason, I don’t imagine Marilyn Manson sitting on a couch watching TV. I picture him hanging out in a torture chamber or something. We were definitely flattered and creeped out and felt great that he liked the show.”

“Eastbound & Down” is in its fourth and final season. According to IMDb, the show is about a “burned-out major league ballplayer returning to teach phys ed at his old middle school, years after he turned his back on his hometown.”

Surprisingly, Manson has a weird obsession for the show and has been pestering McBride since the first season for a cameo part. He also attended two season launch parties to show his love for the series.

“I get weird emails from Marilyn Manson now,” McBride told MTV in 2010. “He sends me weird emails in the middle of the night of what he’s watching on TV, and you can hear him giggling in the background. One time he literally sent me a Peanuts special I guess he was watching, sometimes it’s Eastbound, infomercials, anything.”

Manson filmed his cameo for the fourth season earlier this week. However, there has not been a date set for when that episode will premiere.
