  • Scarlett Johansson Will Host ‘Saturday Night Live’ on May 2nd, Heading Toward Five-Timers Club

Scarlett Johansson is hosting Saturday Night Live on May 2nd. This will be the fourth time hosting SNL for the Avengers: Age of Ultron star, and this gig falls on the day after the film hits theaters.

It was announced during this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live, which was hosted by Empire star Taraji P. Henson, that Scarlett Johansson was on deck for the May 2nd episode. No musical guest has yet been announced.

In light of when she is serving as host, could this mean that Scarlett Johansson might break out her Black Widow costume for at least one of the evening’s sketches? It would seem more than likely.

Scarlett Johansson will need to host only one more time after May 2nd in order to become a member of SNL’s coveted five-timers club. So far only 15 people have been ‘inducted’ into the group. They are Ben Affleck, Alec Baldwin, Drew Barrymore, Candice Bergen, Chevy Chase, Danny DeVito, John Goodman, Elliot Gould, Tom Hanks, Buck Henry, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Paul Simon, Justin Timberlake, and Christopher Walken. The club was first mentioned on Saturday Night Live back in 1990 when Tom Hanks was making his fifth appearance on the show.

Scarlett Johansson last hosted SNL in 2010. Hopefully it won’t be another five years from May 2nd before she becomes a member of the five-timers club.

Will you be checking out Scarlett Johansson when Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1st? And will you be tuning in the next night to catch her as she hosts SNL–for the fourth time?

  • Danny DeVito, One Direction Make Wacky Music Video

Ballerinas with umbrellas, sumo wrestlers in the desert, a misplaced marching band, Danny DeVito giving directorial directions to a boy band? It may sound like a Fellini movie, but it’s actually One Direction’s latest video for their newest release Steal My Girl.

Several pictures hit the web a couple days ago of DeVito playing a director in the band’s music video. Yesterday, we got to see a bunch of exclusive behind-the-scene photos from the video’s promo shoot. The video was shot in the desert, just outside of Los Angeles. All the boys were present: Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik.

The video for their new single Steal My Girl is in support of the band’s fourth studio album, which appropriately is named Four. The tune was co-written by Louis and Liam.

Here’s a quick behind-the-scenes look at the video shoot.

Ben Winston, who directed the video, said, “It’s quite an exciting video.” He added, “You should expect the unexpected on this one. It’s weird and wonderful.” Winston also directed two other One Direction videos, Best Song Ever and This Is Us.

It certainly looks weird, wonderful, and definitely pretty wacky.

If you’re interested in checking out Steal My Girl, you’re in luck, the song is currently available on iTunes.

The band’s last album, Midnight Memories, was the best selling album out of Britain in 2013. Four is set to drop on November 17.

  • Danny DeVito Crashes Dodgers Interview

Danny DeVito has been making us laugh for years; he’s the tiny guy with the huge personality who’s worked in film, television, and behind the camera. He can play a cruel father with criminal tendencies (“Matilda”, “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia”) or an old-time Hollywood reporter with a penchant for bribery (“L.A. Confidential”), but he’s always got a mischievous twinkle in his eye no matter what he’s doing, and that includes dancing at a baseball game and crashing an interview with his favorite player.

DeVito was checking out the Dodgers/Mets game on Monday night when he was spotted in the crowd, dancing in celebration after Nick Punto got a homerun in the 7th inning. Since he also happened to be wearing a Punto jersey, he got some extra attention and was welcomed over when Punto was giving an interview after the game.

Check out the funnyman and The Shredder, hugging it out.

  • Rhea Pearlman, Danny Devito Shock Fans And Friends

When a Hollywood couple makes it past the twenty year mark, you assume they’ll be together forever. Sadly, that’s not the case for Rhea Pearlman and Danny Devito, who are ending their 30-year marriage.

The couple met in 1970 but didn’t marry until 1982, choosing instead to live together for a while. They have had several successful and memorable partnerships since then–including forming their own production company, which is responsible for such films as “Pulp Fiction” and “Erin Brockovich”–and have three grown children.

Pearlman and Devito have starred in several projects together, proving that a marriage doesn’t negate a working relationship. Playing a real-life couple in “Matilda”–which Devito also directed–seemed to come easily to them, despite the fact that the characters were deeply unlikeable. They also shared the small screen on the ’70s television show “Taxi”.

When asked to describe one another in the past, Pearlman has said Devito was fun and sexy when they met, which immediately attracted her. He said “She was vibrant, with a great sense of humor, and real warm.” As of right now, no reason has been publicly given for the split; clearly, fans are taking it hard.

The Third film would be titled “Triplets” and would star Eddie Murphy as the long lost third triplet.

As of press time the film does not currently have either a director or even a script. SO even if a script was written and approved we won’t see this movie until at least 2014. Ivan Reitman, who helmed the original, would only act as a producer for the film.

The original “Twins” was widely popular and had an opening weekend of $11 million dollars. Worldwide it earned a total of $216 million. By todays standards that is ok, but in 1988 it was a massive success. Arnold Schwarzenegger went on to star in such huge hits as Total Recall, Kindergarten Cop, and Terminator2. He also won 2 elections to become the Governor of the State of California. Danny Devito went on from Twins to star in Batman Returns, Matilda, and the cult comedy “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
