  • Courteney Cox And Jennifer Aniston Don’t Talk About Their Engagements

Courteney Cox is planning a wedding soon–and even took a trip to Ireland to meet her soon-to-be mother-in-law recently–but she and bestie Jennifer Aniston don’t really talk about it much, even though Aniston is planning nuptials of her own.

“We honestly don’t talk about it,” Aniston said, adding that the two of them have their own things going on and are busy with projects.

The former Friends star got engaged to Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid in June, while Aniston has been engaged to actor Justin Theroux for nearly two years. Aniston did have some advice for her friend, saying she should enjoy this time while it lasts.

“There’s something to enjoying the engagement period, I have to say…whether it’s three months, one year, two, three, four, or five years. Who knows? Whatever it is, enjoy it!”

The ladies recently got together for Jimmy Kimmel, along with their old co-star Lisa Kudrow, and had a rare mini-reunion on his late night show. The trio performed a skit with Kimmel, who played Ross, but the sketch required Aniston to pretend to be annoyed by the whole thing and fans of the show took her seriously.

“Of course, we were acting. It was acting. Everybody knew it was gonna happen, we rehearsed it backstage, it was scripted out. The idea was that I would force Jennifer into this mini Friends reunion, and she pretended to be annoyed by it,” Kimmel said.

  • Lisa Kudrow Reunites with Female “Friends” on Jimmy Kimmel, Prompts New Reunion Rumors

Since 2004 when it ended, fans of the 1990s hit television show Friends have been wishing and hoping for a reunion. On Wednesday night, part of that dream came true.

Jennifer Aniston, appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote her new film, Life of Crime, was hesitant when Kimmel told her that he was actually a huge fan of Friends.

“I loved the show so much I actually wrote some fan fiction,” he said. “I wrote myself into it as Ross. I was wondering if you would do a scene from it with me?”

Kimmel then lead the 45-year old actress to a replica of the famous apartment kitchen from the show, claiming that he “spent $80,000 making it.”

Although Aniston agreed to read lines with Kimmel, who played Ross Geller, she refused to wear a Rachel wig, saying “I’ve got boundaries.” Then, to everyone’s delight, Aniston was joined by her friends and former co-stars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow.

But, despite the next month being the 20th anniversary of the hit NBC show’s premiere, including the opening a replica of the Central Perk coffee shop, complete with Gunther (actor James Michael Tyler), the cast still stands by the fact that an official reunion is not underway.

“It’s not going to happen,” Cox told David Letterman on The Late Show back in April. “Let me tell you something: there’s six friends and I’ve been trying to put together a cast dinner for 10 years. It doesn’t happen. I can get the girls to come, maybe Matthew Perry. Matt LeBlanc canceled last time right at the last minute, Schwimmer lives here [in New York City]…”

Martha Kaufman, co-creator of Friends, backed Cox up by saying, “It’s not happening. Friends was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there’s no need anymore.”

Friends ran for 10 seasons on NBC, becoming one of the most popular sitcoms of all time. It even is said to have had cultural impact during the run: “The Rachel” hairstyle that was copied all over the world, Joey’s catchphrase “How you doin’?” became a part of American slang, and Chandler’s habit of leaving a sentence unfinished for sarcasm started to affect young society’s speech patterns.

But now the six actors have moved on, each busy with film or television series. Cox is currently starring on ABC’s hit comedy Cougar Town. Jennifer Aniston has had enduring film success in movies such as Horrible Bosses and We’re the Millers. Lisa Kudrow is starring in her third season of Web Therapy on Showtime. Matt LeBlanc stars as a fictional version of himself on the BBC Two/Showtime series Episodes. Matthew Perry is soon to star as Oscar Madison in a new television version of The Odd Couple and David Schwimmer has been working on and Off-Broadway in a handful of stage debuts.

However, especially with the joint Kimmel appearance last week, fans still continue to hope for a Rachel-Monica-Phoebe-Joey-Chandler-Ross reunion in the future.

  • Lisa Kudrow Reunites with “Friends:” Could They Reunite Again?

Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, and Jennifer Aniston became Phoebe, Monica, and Rachel again, but not for a Friends movie or reboot series. The former Friends stars reunited for a skit on the late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Aniston was interviewed by Kimmel to promote her new movie, Life of Crime. Then he changed topics and started discussing his Friends fan fiction. He asked Aniston to help him act out some of it, and he revealed a set replica of Monica and Rachel’s apartment. Suddenly, Kudrow and Cox joined them on stage. The skit unleased one awkward moment after another as Kimmel’s fan fiction got more sexual and ridiculous with every new page. Aniston and her Friends co-stars played their annoyance about the skit so well that some fans questioned its authenticity.

The next night, Kimmel reassured fans that Aniston knew everything that was about to happen before they filmed it. He even shared some of the colorful social media reactions to it.

Kudrow also reunited with another Friends co-star earlier in the week to celebrate the Emmy awards. Matt LeBlanc and Kudrow were seen together at the Showtime Emmy party. They both currently have comedies airing on the network, LeBlanc’s Episodes and Kudrow’s Web Therapy. LeBlanc also made several appearances on Web Therapy, along with other Friends stars like David Schwimmer and Cox. The Kimmel reunion, and LeBlanc and Kudrow’s one, made fans speculate that all six friends could come together again this fall.

September 22, 2014 marks the 20th anniversary of the premiere episode of Friends. To honor this special occasion, a Central Perk coffee shop replica will appear in SoHo from Sept. 17-Oct. 18. Besides giving away free coffee, James Michael Tyler, who played Gunter on Friends, will make special appearances throughout the shop's run. It's possible Kudrow, Aniston, Cox, LeBlanc, Schwimmer, and Matthew Perry might make their own appearances at Central Perk. Even if they don't appear at Central Perk, we wouldn't be surprised if there are more Friends surprises to come.

  • Courteney Cox Accepts Jennifer Aniston’s ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Courteney Cox was challenged by her BFF and former Friends costar to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and accepted the challenge poolside–with the help of ‘Sing’ and ‘A Team’ crooner Ed Sheeran.

Cox is engaged to Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid, who was challenged as part of her participation in the fundraiser and act of increasing awareness about the deadly disease. In addition to McDaid, Courteney Cox nominated McDaid’s Snow Patrol band mate Gary Lightbody and actress Isla Fisher.

Courteney Cox is seen seated by the pool. Once she calls out her nominations, Ed Sheeran dumps a bucket of icy water over her head–immediately after which Johnny McDaid and Gary Lightbody douse her with an even larger bucket full of water.

It is reported that as of Tuesday, August 26th, the ALS Association has raised more than $88.5 million in donations since the inception of this Ice Bucket Challenge. During this same time frame last year, fundraising efforts yielded $2.6 million. 1.9 million new donors have stepped up to the plate this summer alone, most of which came from the popular challenge.

Gary Lightbody was the first to officially accept Courteney Cox’s challenge.

Fiance Johnny McDaid followed suit. He was also helped out by Ed Sheeran.

Some negative press has emerged regarding the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, with naysayers claiming people should simply donate money and not “show off” via social media while dumping water over their heads. Those same naysayers should perhaps cough up $88.5 million–or join in the fun.

Kudos to Courteney Cox for taking place in this worthwhile fundraiser. Kudos to Jennifer Aniston for nominating her. One has to wonder, however, why Courteney didn’t nominate Ed Sheeran? After all, he was the one who doused her first.

  • Courteney Cox Does Ice Bucket Challenge With Ed Sheeran

Courteney Cox has joined a slew of celebrities who are taking the viral “ice bucket challenge”, but unlike many of them, she got another celeb involved.

The former Friends star set up her video poolside and had British rocker Ed Sheeran dump the freezing water over her head after being called out by bestie Jennifer Aniston, and in turn called out Isla Fisher, Gary Lightbody, and fiance Johnny McDaid. McDaid, who is a member of Snow Patrol with Lightbody, ran in at the last minute to dump a second bucket of water on her head.

The challenge has been a huge hit online, with thousands of people participating and posting their videos to social media. Those who accept the challenge are asked to take the bucket full of ice and donate around ten dollars to ALS research, or skip the ice and donate $100.

Some celebs have taken alternative routes for the challenge, dumping everything from breast milk to cold hard cash on themselves instead of ice water. Charlie Sheen was one of the latter, using his challenge video to call out his former Two And A Half Men costar Jon Cryer, showrunner Chuck Lorre, and Ashton Kutcher.

“Oh wait, that’s not ice. That’s $10,000 in cash which I am donating to the ALS foundation. Let’s face it ice is going to melt, but this money is going to actually help people. So I am here by calling out Jon Cryer, Chuck Lorre and Ashton Kutcher to identically do what I just did. Come on, it’s for a great cause. Have a great day,” he said.

  • Courteney Cox Thinks Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux Need to Say ‘I Do’ Already

Courteney Cox allegedly joins the rest of us in thinking it’s been long enough, and Justin Theroux needs to go ahead and marry Jennifer Aniston.

The Friends alum has reportedly expressed her displeasure that Theroux and Aniston have been engaged for two years and still no wedding bells.

According to sources for the Independent.ie, Cox has allegedly had her say with her best friend.

“They didn’t fall out over it and Court seems to have pulled things around with Justin now. She tolerates him and they get on OK, but as far as she’s concerned, he’s on probation,” a source told British magazine, Heat.

Perhaps Cox just wants her BFF to feel the same excitement she is experiencing as she prepares to tie the knot with Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid later this year in Ireland.

Maybe Theroux just has a slight case of cold feet.

“Justin says he does want to get married. It’s just that, whenever Jen asks him for details, there’s always a reason to talk in general terms rather than specifics, such as when it’s going to happen. Jen’s never managed to get to the point where they set a date… He’s totally into the relationship, but is phobic about sealing the deal,” said the source.

There is little doubt that their schedules don’t help matters. The actor spends most of his time shooting his TV show, The Leftovers , in New York City, while Aniston chills on the west coast in Los Angeles.

“Justin’s show… is a massive hit. They’ve got no time to get married,” said a source. “The one thing that’s set in stone is their annual New Year’s break in Mexico. The smart money’s on it happening then and there.”

Despite the separations, the couple still manages to enjoy some romantic getaways together. To celebrate the second anniversary of their engagement and Theroux‘s birthday, they recently flew to Bora Bora, staying at the Four Seasons.

Could they perhaps have used the romantic trip to scout out wedding locations?

Kevin Lee, the couple’s wedding planner revealed to Radar Online last month: “Jennifer and Justin are getting married right by the ocean, so it will be a beach meets California modern-chic sort of thing.”

  • Courteney Cox Gets Engaged, Has “Friends” Reunion

Courteney Cox recently announced on Twitter that she’s engaged to Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid, and last week she and her two favorite Friends co-stars got together for dinner so she could show off her new ring.

Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and Jennifer Aniston met up at Craig’s in L.A. to eat and catch up, and reportedly stayed at their table for more than three hours.

“They had a girls’ dinner to celebrate Courteney’s engagement. They had a great time and enjoyed catching up over dinner for several hours,” a source said.

Cox and McDaid were seen together at Aniston’s holiday party last year, prompting rumors that they were an item. Recently, she was spotted out with Jen Meyer, who designed her engagement ring. Meyer posted a photo of the two of them on Instagram, saying, “I guess he liked it so he put a Jennifer Meyer ring on it!!”

Cox’s other Friends co-star, Matt LeBlanc, said he has yet to meet the new man in her life but will be making it a priority.

“I have not met Courteney’s guy yet, so I need to get on that … I need to get the baseball bat and go over there,” he said with a laugh.

Cox and ex David Arquette split in 2010; they have one daughter together.

  • Lisa Kudrow Meets Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox: Friends Reunion?

Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox all got together for dinner in L.A. last week, to the delight of all the tabloids, fueling rumors about a Friends reunion. It was, of course, a reunion of sorts, but without the talk of producers, sets, and sitcoms. Instead it was a gathering of three good friends (with a lower-case ‘f’) who gathered to celebrate Cox’s recent engagement. The ladies met at Craig’s and enjoyed about three hours together–eating and chatting, as girlfriends do.

“They had a girls’ dinner to celebrate Courteney’s engagement,” a source said. “They had a great time and enjoyed catching up over dinner for several hours.”

Courteney Cox said ‘yes’ to Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDade’s proposal in June.

While Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston shared in Courteney Cox’s excitement, Courteney received an unexpected and completely unplanned FaceTime call from Friends costar Matt LeBlanc.

“I just happened to FaceTime Courteney and she’s like, ‘Look who I am with!’ I was like, ‘Oh, wow, that’s good,’ ” he said. “It’s hard to get together because everyone is all over the place.”

Matt was very clear about having given Jennifer Aniston his seal of approval for fiance Justin Theroux, but admitted he hasn’t yet met Johnny McDade.

“I have not met Courteney’s guy yet, so I need to get on that … I need to get the baseball bat and go over there,” he said

“If they’re happy, I’m happy,” he added.

Lisa Kudrow may not have engagement news, but she is certainly making news in Showtime’s Web Therapy, and will soon make a comeback on HBO for a few episodes of The Comeback. She says she had a blast meeting up with all of her good friends and former Friends costars.

“It was really fun, great to see them,” she said. “I got to see the ring,” she added, referring to the Cougar Town star’s engagement ring.

The antennae of diehard Friends fans likely rise when they receive any word of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow getting together. What they must understand is that in addition to having starred together in Friends, these ladies are friends–and it looks like that will never change.

  • David Arquette Engaged To Christina McLarty, Proposal Was Embarrassing

David Arquette popped the question to his girlfriend of three years Christina McLarty. Arquette proposed to McLarty at Mastro’s Ocean Club in Malibu, California.

“I proposed to her on the beach in front of a bunch of people and she got really embarrassed,” Arquette told E! News. However, that was not the whole story. McLarty said that there was another couple at the beach doing their engagement photos and she was making fun of them.

“Like, ‘how embarrassing, all these people watching,’” she said. And then out of nowhere, Arquette proposes to her. The engagement ring consisted of a giant black diamond surrounded by two rounds of smaller white diamonds.

Arquette continued, “I take her outside with our new baby, Charlie, and my daughter, Coco, and then I ask her and she’s like ‘No, what are you doing?! There’s so many people watching!’”

McLarty said that she was so uncomfortable the entire time. Arquette, 42, and McLarty, 33, have been dating on and off since 2011. Last April, McLarty gave birth to their baby boy.

Before McLarty met Arquette she had a relationship with creator of the infamous ‘Girls Gone Wild’ video series, Joe Francis. She was with Francis for four years, and married him. The marriage ended after a few months.

Arquette and McLarty are said to be going to Aspen, Colorado to celebrate their engagement.

The news of Arquette and McLarty’s engagement came just a week after Arquette’s ex-wife Courteney Cox announced her engagement to Johnny McDaid of Snow Patrol. Cox and Arquette’s divorce became official just last year but they remain friends. Cox shares a daughter, Coco, with Arquette.

A source said that Arquette was just waiting for the right time to ask McLarty to marry him. “He and Courteney both talked about taking the next step in their relationships… They both want what’s best for each other,” the source said.

  • Courteney Cox: Cougar Town Star to Wed

Courteney Cox: Cougar Town Star to Wed

Courteney Cox of Friends and Cougar Town fame is engaged to Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid. The couple shared their exciting announcement via Twitter on Thursday evening.

The two were first spotted together at Cox’s BFF Jennifer Aniston’s holiday party back in December. Since then they’ve been seen together a number of times including on the red carpet as they celebrated Courteney Cox’s directing debut for Just Before I Go at the Tribeca Film Festival in April.

The couple shared identical photos along with their almost identical tweets to announce their good news.

There is high speculation that Cox and McDaid will get married some time in July. Do you suppose Jennifer Aniston will serve as maid of honor for her best friend? If Jen and Justin Theroux would get off the stick and actually go through with their supposed wedding plans, Aniston could theoretically be a matron instead of a maid by the time Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid take their walk down the aisle. If they get married next month, however, it’s pretty unlikely that Jen will beat her to the altar.

Courteney Cox has planned a 50th birthday bash for herself to be held at her home in L.A. Sources close to the actress say the ‘birthday bash’ may be staged and a wedding may be taking place instead.

This will be the second marriage for Courteney Cox. She was previously married to actor David Arquette from 1999 to 2013. Their divorce was final in May of 2013, although they were separated for a lengthy period prior to filing for divorce. They have one daughter, Coco.

Congrats to Courteney on her engagement to the Snow Patrol rocker. The paparazzi is now anxiously awaiting her 50th birthday in hopes of catching photos of anything that resembles a wedding instead of a birthday bash.

  • Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid Engaged

Courteney Cox, 50, is engaged to 37-year-old rocker Johnny McDaid.

The Friends alum and her Snow Patrol rockin’ fiancé announced the engagement with his-and-her Twitter posts Thursday night.

“I’m engaged to him!” Courteney posted on her page.

“I’m engaged to her!” Johnny posted on his page.

Rumors of a romantic relationship began to make the rounds back in December when they were spotted together at Jennifer Aniston‘s holiday party in LA.

Over the past few months, the pair have been spotted together on numerous occasions, including the April New York City premiere of Courteney’s Tribeca film, Just Before I Go, which also marks Cox’ directorial debut.

The couple were introduced to each other by Ed Sheehan, who commented about the meeting to E! Online.

“I wasn’t allowed to talk about this, actually, but it’s just gone public so… My housemate [McDaid] who I’ve lived with for a year, I introduced him to Courteney Cox. They started dating and [are] crazy about each other.” said Sheehan. “I ended up spending a lot of time living in her beach house and therefore bumping into all these random people. We spent Thanksgiving eve at Jennifer Aniston’s before spending the day at Courteney’s.”

This is the second marriage for the Cougar Town star, who was married to David Arquette from 1999-2013. The couple separated in 2010 and share custody of their 10-year-old daughter, Coco.

The exes finalized their divorce in May 2013.

Cox is slated to return for the sixth and final season of Cougar Town in 2015.

  • Courteney Cox To Marry On Her 50th Birthday

Former Friends star Courtney Cox may be close to getting married again.

According to a source close to Cox, she is planning on throwing a huge birthday bash for her 50th birthday, and there is speculation that she may be marrying her Irish rocker boyfriend Johnny McDaid during the event.

The couple was first linked together last year when Cox’s good friend Ed Sheeran set them up on a date. Cox and McDaid then went public with their relationship earlier this year, and in April they decided to take the next step and McDaid moved into Cox’s home in Malibu, California.

Cox has dropped hint after hint that her party in June will include a huge surprise and the source seems to believe that the surprise is her wedding. “She’s throwing a big party at home in LA and it looks like it’ll be more than a birthday bash,” the source explained. “She’s asked guests to wear white and dress smart — and has let slip that there’s going to be a BIG surprise.”

Cox has a nine-year-old daughter Coco with her ex-husband David Arquette, and the source revealed that she would be a bridesmaid in Cox’s wedding. “Coco’s going to be a bridesmaid and David has been asked to make a speech. They want to put on a united front and show that everyone’s happy,” the source continued.

  • David Arquette Welcomes Baby Boy Charlie West

On Monday, April 28, David Arqeutte, 42, and his girlfriend Christina McLarty, 33, welcomed the newest addition to their family.

Arquette and McLarty have been dating on and off since 2011, but it wasn’t until this past November that they revealed that they had a baby on the way. According to Arquette’s rep, their baby, a boy, made his grand entrance into the world on Monday.

Charlie west was born in Los Angeles at around 12:30 Monday afternoon, weighing in at 8 pounds, 7 ounces. Arquette’s rep says that mommy and baby are doing well, and are currently asking for privacy to spend this time together as a family.

“Mom, dad and baby are doing well,” Arquette’s rep told PEOPLE. “They appreciate all of your well wishes and thank you for respecting their privacy at this time.”

In January, Arquette revealed that they were expecting a little boy, and said that he was ready to take on the challenge of being a new father again. “I’ve done it once so there’s not that fear that a first-time parent has because you just don’t know what to expect,” he told PEOPLE at the time. “You have to have a lot of faith that you will be able to keep them safe and not mess them up too much,” he added.

Arquette already has one child, a daughter, Coco, 9, with his ex-wife, former Friends star, Courteney Cox. During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Cox revealed that Coco was very excited to be a big sister.

“Yeah, she’s really excited,” Cox told Ellen. “At first she was nervous, because, you know, it’s a big deal. At first, I was nervous, I was like whoa, heavy. Now it’s great and we actually all had dinner the other night, the whole family. It’s a very unique relationship,” Cox continued. “All of us like literally, me and Christina and David and Coco. It’s great though.”

  • Courteney Cox: For Last Time, No Friends Reunion!

Since 2004 when it ended, fans of the 1990s hit television show Friends have been wishing and hoping for a reunion. On Monday night, the rumors of that possibility were shut down (again) by actress Courteney Cox.

“It’s not going to happen,” Cox told David Letterman on The Late Show.

Cox’s comment confirms what Marta Kaufman, co-creator of Friends, said last April.

“I’m going to clear this up – it’s not happening,” Kaufman said. “‘Friends’ was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there’s no need anymore.”

Although the six actors won’t be reuniting at Central Perk any time soon, many have moved on to other television series and/or films.

However, if fans are still in Rachel-Monica-Phoebe-Joey-Chandler-Ross withdrawal, there are always reruns.

  • Courteney Cox Refutes ‘Friends’ Reunion Rumors

Courteney Cox is setting the record straight. The rumors circulating about a possible Friends reunion are not true.

On Monday, April 21, the 49-year-old actress appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman.

When the romantic-comedy sitcom became the topic of discussion, Letterman mentioned the rumors, and asked Cox about the possibility of a reunion segment. The Dirt actress embraced the moment as an opportunity to put the countless rumors to rest.

“It’s not gonna happen,” Cox said. She went on to quip about how difficult it is to just have all of her former cohorts in the same room for dinner. So realistically, a reunion is quite far-fetched.

“There’s six friends and I have been trying to put together a cast dinner for 10 years,” Cox told Letterman. “It doesn’t happen. I mean, I can get the girls to come, maybe Matthew Perry. Matt LeBlanc canceled last time right at the last minute, [David] Schwimmer lives [in New York City], so it’s just not going to happen.”

    http://youtu.be/zEsdxopUUac

If fans had any hopes of a Friends reunion, it’s quite obvious that won’t be happening now. However, Cox’s comments are nothing new. Last April, Friends c0-creator Marta Kaufman offered a blunt response to the rumors, saying the exact same thing in a statement for E! News.

“I’m going to clear this up — it’s not happening,” Kauffman told the publication during a brief interview on the red carpet of the Lifetime TV movie Call Me Crazy. “‘Friends’ was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there’s no need anymore.”

Although more than 20 million Friends fans may have held on to a false sense of hope for a reunion, there’s still a light at the end of the tunnel – 10 memorable seasons fans can watch over and over again.

  • Courteney Cox: There Will Not Be A Friends Reunion

Courteney Cox: There Will Not Be A Friends Reunion

Friends fans have been anxiously awaiting a reunion episode since the comedy series ended nearly ten years ago.

Rumors that a reunion episode was in the works has been squashed on more than one occasion, but Courteney Cox, who played Monica Geller on the show, is finally putting the rumors to rest and saying that it is simply “not going to happen.”

On Monday night’s episode of the Late Show with David Letterman, Cox made an appearance and addressed the speculation. “It’s not gonna happen,” the Cougar Town actress said.

She revealed that she can’t even get her former co-stars (Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston, Mathew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer) together for dinner, let alone another episode.

“There’s six friends and I have been trying to put together a cast dinner for 10 years,” Cox explained to Letterman. “It doesn’t happen. I mean, I can get the girls to come, maybe Matthew Perry. Matt LeBlanc canceled last time right at the last minute, [David] Schwimmer lives [in New York City], so it’s just not going to happen.”

Last year, Friends co-creator Marta Kaufman gave the same answer when asked if there was going to be a reunion project. “I’m going to clear this up — it’s not happening.” Kaufman said. “Friends was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there’s no need anymore.”

Needless to say, for all of you who have been holding out hope that the Friends were going to be getting back together, it looks like it is just not going to happen.

  • Courteney Cox to David Letterman: No ‘Friends’ Reunion

Courteney Cox recently told David Letterman that a Friends reunion show is “not gonna happen.”

Cox appeared on The Late Show Monday night and Letterman asked the inevitable question: will there be a Friends reunion?

Cox said she can’t even get the six former cast members together for dinner due to conflicting schedules and the fact that they all live on opposite coasts now. If she hasn’t been able to accomplish that – and she claims to have been trying since the show went off air – how could a reunion show or movie happen?

Cox is still on the west coast, living in Malibu with her nine-year-old daughter Coco and boyfriend, Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid.

Cox has played Jules Cobb on Cougar Town since the series premiered in 2009. She’s also worked as a director on the show since 2012.

Former Friends star Jennifer Aniston has continued to be a household name in the years since the series ended in 2004, but what about the other cast members?

Matthew Perry is still involved in television. News broke in December that he would write, produce, and star in an Odd Couple reboot on CBS.

“Ever since seeing the movie The Odd Couple when I was 10 years old, it has been a dream for me to play Oscar Madison,” Perry said. “To be given the opportunity to develop a modern version of it for CBS has put a permanent smile across my face.”

  • Courteney Cox and Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid Living Together

Courteney Cox of Friends and Cougar Town fame and her boyfriend of very few months–Johnny Daid–are reportedly living together. News of the cohabitation was inadvertently announced by good friend and A Team singer Ed Sheeran.

“I’m not sure that it’s public knowledge, so maybe I shouldn’t have said anything – but, yes, they’re already living together,” the redheaded crooner admitted at a VIP preview of Chris Moon’s A Splendid Isolation exhibition in London on March 27

Cox and McDaid were first spotted out on a date during December at a holiday party at Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s home. It wasn’t long after that they traveled along with Cox’s daughter with David Arquette–Coco Arquette–to Italy. In February she still played coy with Wendy Williams when talking about her new relationship with the Snow Patrol rocker. McDaid plays piano, guitar and sings back up vocals for the band known for hit songs like Chasing Cars.

“He’s amazing,” the Scream 4 star said. “Great guy. We’ve gone out to dinner a few times. My whole thing is that, he’s a great man and to have someone kind, that you trust around your kid is the most important part.”

A source recently confirmed Ed Sheeran’s slip of the tongue and said the two are very seriously involved–so serious, in fact, that there is already talk of having a child together. 9-year-old Coco could be a big sister before too long.

Prior to marrying David Arquette back in 1999, Courteney Cox was linked to both Michael Keaton and Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz. Her relationship with Johnny McDaid seems to be the most serious one she’s had since her divorce from Arquette became final last June.

It will be fun to watch the progress of Courteney Cox’s new relationship. Given the lack of progress in Jennifer Aniston’s wedding plans it will be interesting to see which of the former Friends stars takes that walk down the aisle first.

  • Courteney Cox Living with Boyfriend Johnny McDaid

Courteney Cox and boyfriend Johnny McDaid are living together, according to mutual friend Ed Sheeran.

Sheeran, the 23-year-old British singer-songwriter who introduced Cox and McDaid last year, spoke about their romance at a recent VIP preview of Chris Moon’s exhibition A Splendid Isolation in London.

“I’m not sure that it’s public knowledge, so maybe I shouldn’t have said anything – but, yes, they’re already living together … Things are moving fast. He moved in and, judging by the last time I saw them, they couldn’t be happier.”

When asked if the couple would marry soon, Sheeran said “I wouldn’t be surprised, but it’s still early days.”

Cox, 49, and McDaid, 37, made headlines in December when they attended a holiday party hosted by Cox’s friend Jennifer Aniston.

In February they vacationed in Venice with Cox’s nine-year-old daughter Coco.

In March Cox hit the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival with McDaid at her side. She was there to premiere Just Before I Go, the movie that marks her directorial debut.

McDaid plays piano and guitar in the alternative rock band Snow Patrol. Originally from Northern Ireland, he and Sheeran lived together in Nashville and Los Angeles last year while working on Sheeran’s sophomore album.

Sheeran is back in London, having told The Mirror that America can’t replicate the English countryside. But it looks like McDaid plans to remain stateside for the time being.

Cox appears to have a good relationship with her ex-husband and daughter Coco’s father David Arquette.

Arquette, who is expecting a baby with girlfriend and Entertainment Tonight correspondent Christina McLarty, has good things to say about McDaid:

“He’s amazing. Great guy,” Arquette told talk show host Wendy Williams in February. “We’ve gone out to dinner a few times. My whole thing is that, he’s a great man and to have someone kind, that you trust around your kid is the most important part.”

  • David Arquette Talks Children and Strange Baby Names

David Arquette has a niche for acting, but selecting baby names may not be one of his strong points!

According to the Associated Press, he definitely opted for a typical celebrity baby name – that’s relatively strange. The Scream series star, who is expecting his second child with his girlfriend TV personality Christina McLarty, revealed that he liked the name Astro.

“I did want to name him Astro,” Arquette said in a recent interview when asked about the new baby due in May. The 42-year-old actor truly thought the name “Astro Arquette” was quite amazing. However, McLarty isn’t having it. He explained that the idea just “didn’t fly” with her and she immediately nixed the name before it was even considered as one of their top picks.

He went on to share that his 10-year-old daughter Coco, whom he had with his ex-wife Courteney Cox, is quite exciting about the idea of becoming a big sister. He even quipped that his daughter insists the baby “absolutely worships” her.

“Coco loves acting herself and she loves the fact that we do what we do,” Arquette said of his daughter. “So, I think she’s pretty much exactly how all of us on my side of the family were raised — in it essentially.”

He also gushed about his daughter already looking forward to following in the footsteps of her parents with a potential career in the entertainment industry.

“Coco loves acting herself and she loves the fact that we do what we do,” Arquette said. He also pointed out that his daughter has a deep admiration for music as she loves to sing as well.  “So, I think she’s pretty much exactly how all of us on my side of the family were raised — in it essentially.”

Arquette’s sister, Emmy Award-winning actress Patricia Arquette, has also spoken of the family’s lineage in the film industry as their father, mother and grandparents also had successful acting careers. The Little Nicky actress recounted their childhood, which was filled with “fantasy, role-playing, emotional games.”

“I guess we were sort of spoon fed of that creative aspect of ourselves,” she said.

  • Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux: Over?

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are sparking rumors that their relationship may be in peril. Is it possible that things are over for the former Friends star and her fiance? Sources say the two have put their wedding plans on hold.

“There is absolutely no wedding talk or planning going on,” a source close to Jen and Justin said in an interview with RadarOnline. “Publicly the couple is saying it’s because they are just too busy with work, but if they wanted to get married, it would happen.”

“The relationship is definitely at an impasse,” the source added. “Either it’s going to fizzle out, which seems likely, or they get married.”

Jennifer Aniston has been engaged to Justin Theroux for 18 months now. Fans note they haven’t spotted the two together since a Mexican vacation back in December. They two haven’t been photographed together since that time.

Jen recently turned 45 years old, and it is reported that Justin wasn’t with her to celebrate her birthday. Instead she spent the day with former Friends costar and BFF Courteney Cox. Jen and Courteney joined Tobey Maguire’s wife Jennifer Meyer and Jennifer’s hairstylist Chris McMillan at the Soho House in Los Angeles for a 45th birthday dinner.

Some find it a bit peculiar that Jennifer Aniston stayed behind in L.A. when Justin Theroux attended Philip Seymour Hoffman’s funeral in Manhattan on February 7th, too. Do you suppose they will show up at the Oscars together on March 3rd? They walked the red carpet together for the 2013 Oscars.

It wasn’t so long ago that people feared Justin Theroux was in a relationship with Jennifer Aniston simply to ride her coattails to success. Hopefully now that he has risen a bit in the acting world he isn’t thinking twice about marrying the actress.

Do you think Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux will ever tie the knot? And if he intends to do so, what on earth is he waiting for?
