  • Gwen Stefani Comments On Relationship With Blake Shelton During Dallas Radio Interview

Gwen Stefani Comments On Relationship With Blake Shelton During Dallas Radio Interview

Gwen Stefani finally broke her silence about Blake Shelton during an interview she did in the heart of Shelton country–Dallas–set to air on Monday.

It was while chatting with #Uncorked hosts Leigh Ann and Courtney from Dallas/Fort Worth radio station 103.7 that the No Doubt front woman dished on her fellow Voice coach and new beau.

“He’s a pretty rad guy, I have to say that,” Gwen Stefani says.

“There’s been loads of people that have helped me with this tragedy,” she says of her divorce from Gavin Rossdale. “There’s definitely key people that have pointed me into the right direction. Blake really helped me. Not to change the subject, but it’s kinda on the same subject, Pharrell was literally like a guardian angel.”

Gwen Stefani, however, maintains neither she nor Blake Shelton went public with their relationship.

“We didn’t! Like, somebody did. That’s what’s so crazy like, who announces that? Why would I do that?” Stefani asks.

A rep for Gwen Stefani reportedly confirmed the relationship in a statement to Us Weekly.

“Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating,” the statement read.

A rep for Blake Shelton confirmed his and Gwen Stefani’s dating status to Entertainment Tonight.

Gwen Stefani also maintains she and Blake Shelton are not writing a country song together. A source confirmed this to ET as well.

On Wednesday night, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were spotted holding hands following the 2015 Country Music Awards. Gwen didn’t attend the awards show with Shelton, however.

Do you think a rep for Gwen Stefani actually issued a statement without her permission or is she evading the truth?

Gwen Stefani is divorced from Gavin Rossdale and Blake Shelton is divorced from Miranda Lambert, therefore there is no legal or moral reason why they shouldn’t be dating.

What matters is that this pretty rad guy has a pretty new girl, and that for now they both seem happy.

Do you see Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s relationship lasting?

  • Miranda Lambert Reflective Following Blake Shelton’s Confirmation of Gwen Stefani Relationship

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton both attended and performed at the Country Music Awards on Wednesday night. It was a big night for the exes in more ways than one.

In addition to an evening of country music’s best and brightest, Blake Shelton chose the evening to announce he and fellow Voice coach Gwen Stefani are officially dating.

    What was Miranda Lambert’s reaction?

The “Little Red Wagon” singer turned reflective.

Just because she won Female Vocalist of the Year for the sixth year in a row, doesn’t mean it was an easy night for Miranda Lambert.

“Horse Power”….. I’m still floating around on a cloud from last night. Thank you so much @cma for celebrating country music in a big way and for letting me be part of it. Today was a day spent reflecting on this amazing life that Nashville and country music fans have given me. And my friends. I’m so grateful #inspired #gypsyvanner #nomakeuptillnextweek #musicismedicine #chrisstapleton #unicorn #ponyportrait,” she captioned an Instagram post the next day.

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert were the subjects of a couple of jokes during Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood’s opening. Blake was targeted more than Miranda, but the inference was clear.

Some consider Blake’s confirmation of dating Gwen Stefani a blow to Miranda Lambert, but has anyone yet revealed the real reason behind their divorce? Despite the initial belief that Blake was dumped and not the “dumpee,” and this wasn’t the case, there are still lots of unconfirmed rumors going around about Miranda Lambert cheating on him.

Despite Blake Shelton’s choice of announcement dates, one thing remains steadfast between him and Miranda Lambert, and that is respect. Neither has dissed the other post-divorce. The closest each got involved rather indirect comments.

“Thank you….I needed a bright spot this year,” Miranda Lambert said upon receipt of her Female Vocalist of the Year Award.

    Blake’s comment came via Twitter.

Kudos to Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert. Classy and reflective beats cut-throat and hurtful–regardless of the reasons behind their split.

  • Carrie Underwood And Brad Paisley Confirmed To Host 49th CMA Awards In November

The hosts of the upcoming Country Music Awards (CMA) are revealed and they are none other than Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. Underwood and Paisley will team up for the eighth time in eight years!

The two country singers will host the Country Music Awards in November as hinted during the airing of ABC’s CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock special. The special featured Underwood and Paisley’s best hosting moments from the previous years.

The hosts are both Country Music Awards winners since they began their careers. In fact, Underwood bagged five CMA Awards since winning the reality singing contest American Idol. Her awards include Female Vocalist of the Year for three consecutive years- 2006, 2007 and 2008. She also won Single of the Year in 2007 and took home the Horizon Award in 2006.

  • Carrie Underwood: Brad Paisley Can’t Keep Her Secret

There is one sure thing we learned from last night’s Country Music Awards. If you have a secret, don’t tell Brad Paisley.

We already knew that Season 4 American Idol Champ Carrie Underwood was pregnant. What we didn’t know was the sex of the baby. In a cute bit during the opening at the CMA Awards last night, where Underwood and Paisley have served as co-hosts seven times, Paisley “gave away” the big reveal.

“We’re pregnant!” Paisley declared. “Can you please just tell me what we’re having?”

“I don’t remember you being there,” Underwood responded. Then she whispered the secret in Paisley’s ear.

“I know something ya’ll don’t know — suck it TMZ!” Paisley teased. But Paisley is apparently not too good with secrets. “We could name him Garth.”

“What are you doing?” Underwood asked. “You kept that secret for a whole two minutes!”

This is the first baby for the country music star and husband Mike Fisher, who plays center in the NHL for the Nashville Predators. The baby boy is due in the spring.

Garth Brooks was actually at the ceremony last night to present the biggest honor of the evening, the award for entertainer of the year. Luke Bryan, who had been nominated four other times, finally took home the trophy. When Bryan approached the mic, he turned to Brooks, and asked, “First of all, I’ve never met Garth. Hey, Garth. Can I hug you again?” Bryan’s wish was granted, and the two country legends shared a quick embrace.

After the opening, Paisley took to Twitter to send out a selfie with what he hopes will be Underwood’s boy’s namesake. He tweeted, “Wanna see my Garth selfie just before I let the cat out of the bag? Lil’ Garth Fisher. Just sayin’ #bradblewit.”

  • Miranda Lambert Going ‘Platinum’ in June

Miranda Lambert Going ‘Platinum’ in June

Miranda Lambert has completed her new album, Platinum, the highly anticipated follow-up to her smash album Four The Record, which will be released June 3.

This is the first solo album in more than two years for the CMA-award-winning country singer. She released an album with her Pistol Annies trio in 2013, but this is her first solo album in several years.

The 30-year-old Lambert says this latest endeavor, her fourth album, took a little longer to complete than anticipated.

“From the day you kinda go I need to start looking for songs and writing songs, it feels like no matter how much time you have, you’re rushed,” Lambert said. “And so I didn’t want to rush it at all. To me it’s all about timing and making sure that you can feel like you can finally sit there and go, OK, the album’s done, and never have a moment where you go, I wish we could change that or I wish we had a different song.”

She has released her first single from the album, Automatic, and collaborated with Carrie Underwood on the song, Something Bad, bringing two of the most popular country singers together for the first time.

In a recent Good Morning America interview, Lambert commented on just how good her life is these days and how settled she’s become.

“There’s humor on this album, and nostalgia, and it’s feminine. There’s girl power, not in the ‘I’m gonna burn your house down and kill you, but more where I am as a 30-year-old woman and wife. I’m more settled in life, embracing the good and the bad, and that’s all reflected on Platinum.”

  • CMA Awards 2013 Notable Winners

    CMA Awards 2013 Notable Winners

The 47th Country Music Association Awards celebrations were held on Wednesday, at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena and broadcasted live by ABC Television Network. Newcomers were among the biggest winners of this year’s event. Notable among them was the 25 year old Kacey Musgraves, who was also nominated for a total of six awards. The Texan singer walked away with the Artist of the Year award. Clutching her trophy, the excited singer was at a loss for words “I can’t even put it into words”, she said. The singer then thanked her family and fans for the support and encouragement.

The trophy for the Best Male Vocalist of the Year went to Blake Shelton, and Best Female Vocalist of the Year went to his wife Miranda Lambert. The duo made history as the first married couple to ever win the trophy in four consecutive years. While accepting the trophy of the Best Female Vocalist of the Year, Lambert said “Well, hell! I really didn’t think this was going to happen this year.” She also thanked Blake Shelton for being superbly supportive as a husband. Shelton also had very kind words for her.

The coveted trophy of the Entertainer of the Year went to George Strait. The last time Strait won the trophy was in 1990. Holding his hand over his heart, Strait did not hide his amazement. “Thank you so much to the CMA. I mean, this blows me away. I cannot believe it. With such powerful entertainers, I’m just thrilled to even be nominated again.”

The winner of the Album of the Year is Shelton’s Based on a True Story – an album he made with the help of producer Scott Hendricks. After receiving the trophy, Shelton joked, “My phone is blowing up all of a sudden. If there was one award that would mean the most to me tonight, it would be Album of the Year.”

Other winners include: Music Video of the Year (Tim McGraw with Taylor Swift and Keith Urban), Single of the Year (Florida Georgia Line), and Musician of the Year (Mac McAnally)

  • Taylor Swift to Receive Pinnacle Award at CMAs

It is no secret that Taylor Swift is a country music super star, but now she is to be awarded one of the most prestigious awards in country music history: the Pinnacle Award.

Swift will accept the award on November 6 during the 47th Country Music Awards ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee. The award was created in 2005 to “recognize an artist who has achieved both national and international prominence through concert performances and record sales at levels unique in Country Music.” The only other recipient of the award was Garth Brooks in 2005.

“I can’t think of a better opportunity than ‘Country Music’s Biggest Night™’ to present an award of this magnitude to an artist of this caliber,” said CMA President of the Board, Ed Hardy. “I’ve known Taylor since she was 16. She came to my office with her Mom to play her music and I was amazed. Taylor’s outstanding career epitomizes the definition of the Pinnacle Award.”

Not only is she receiving the Pinnacle Award, she is also up for Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, Musical Event, and Music Video of the Year.

Her newest album, “Red”, sold more than 1.2 million albums the first week, and with that album, she became the first woman in music history to have an album meet the 1 million sales mark twice (the first was her 2010 album “Speak Now”).

Swift is also scheduled to perform during the CMAs with Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, Sam Bush, Edgar Meyer and Eric Darken.

The CMAs will air live Wednesday on ABC from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
