  • Cop: Obama Doesn’t Obey Constitution, Neither Do We

Special Police Officer Richard Recine had been employed at the Franklin, New Jersey police force for 36 years, but it was what he said when he was caught on camera that shot his career in the foot; he resigned on Thursday after the video went viral.

In a dispute with resident Steve Wronko concerning the right to shoot film and take pictures in a public place, Recine, a part time police officer who retired from full time work in 2006, disagreed, stating:

“Obama has decimated the friggin’ Constitution. So I don’t give a damn, so if he doesn’t follow the constitution, we don’t have to.”

On Monday, Wronko, who was filing public record requests, took the video at the borough’s municipal building. Wronko and his wife are seeking to reform the borough’s animal shelter; the couple was given a sick and underage puppy by the shelter, resulting in thousands of dollars in veterinarian bills.

Recine was dispatched to the scene after municipal workers were concerned about Wronko shooting film indoors. Wronko and his wife were asked by police to stop taking videos and pictures outside of the animal shelter twice before this week’s incident.

“I tried to explain to him that since 9/11 you just can’t walk into a place and take videos,” Recine, 59, said Thursday in an interview with MyCentralJersey.com. “All he kept on doing was saying he had civil rights, and the Constitution, and he didn’t have to give me information. And I kind of like lost my temper.”

The video’s viral journey started off on Wednesday, where it was first shown on MyCentralJersey.com. On Thursday morning, the story was picked up by the Drudge Report and became the top story on Reddit. Numerous readers expressed disgust with Recine’s comments, stating that they were dismissive of civil rights, and that as a public servant, he should know better about the law he enforces.

Recine, a registered Democrat, stated his concern about the impression that he gave off and how it speaks for police as a whole:

“I don’t want to give a black eye to law enforcement. People are saying some really nasty stuff about cops. I don’t want all officers painted with the same brush.”

In concerns of whether he really meant it or not, Recine explained he was just really riled up and was being “sarcastic.”

“It was just a stupid statement on my part. He got me riled and I said it.”

“I don’t believe that at all. I’m the most patriotic person in the world. I believe in God, the flag, country, the Constitution.”

Commence Your ‘Steve Jobs Is Alive’ Theories

You can add Apple co-founder Steve Jobs to the list of dead people that could possibly be alive because they’ve been spotted but are also totally not alive (except in the hearts of fans, of course).

Like Biggie, Tupac, Elvis, and Wilford Brimley, Jobs, reportedly deceased since 2011, has been sighted in a foreign country.

A redditor posted this selfie Wednesday night, claiming to have found Steve Jobs alive in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

You have to admit – the proof here is virtually impregnable.

Steve Jobs or not, you have to feel bad for that caretaker, who is clearly sick of this shit.

  • Anna Politkovskaya: Justice Not Served?

    Anna Politkovskaya: Justice Not Served?

For the family of slain investigative reporter Anna Politkovskaya, the sentencing of five men deemed responsible for her death did not leave them with any sense of closure.

Instead, the trial and sentencing has left one very important question unanswered: Who led the conspiracy to kill her?

The Ukrainian journalist was known for her outspoken opinion on topics ranging from the corrupt Russian government to human rights issues.

She also pushed the envelope on the sensitive topic of Chechnya. Politkovskaya was determined to bring to light the things that others in Russia desperately wanted to remain secret.

In such circumstances, it becomes increasingly dangerous for an investigative reporter in Politkovskaya’s position.

The 48-year-old woman was gunned down on October 7th, 2006 in the lobby of her apartment in Moscow.

The death of Politkovskaya created a national scandal. Many Russians were outraged by what they believed to be a government-orchestrated hit on the reporter.

Nearly eight years later, five men were sent to jail for killing her.

Pavel Melyokhin, the judge in the case, sentenced Rustam Makhmudov to life in prison for shooting Politkovskaya. His uncle Lom-Ali Gaitukayev was given the same sentence for providing logistics. Three other men were sent to jail with sentences ranging from 12 to 20 years.

And yet, at no point were any of these men fingered as the one who masterminded Politkovskaya’s brutal death.

Said her son Ilya, “I will be satisfied only when the person or people who ordered this will be sentenced.”

The defendants exchanged smiles, which must have been severely unnerving to Politkovskaya’s family.

Who smiles as they are sentenced to spend the rest of their life behind bars?

It has been revealed that the victim in this case is one of 23 reporters that has been gunned down in Russia since 2000. Politkovskaya is one of five lost to the Novaya Gazeta, an independent Russian paper.

The Novaya Gazeta is performing its own investigation into the circumstances of her death.

  • Conspiracy Theories: Slippery Paranoid Slope?

I love a good conspiracy theory as much as the next person. For me they’re often fascinating takes on unsolved mysteries. Or even solved mysteries.

Unfortunately some individuals take conspiracy theories to a disturbingly excessive extreme.

Ever been accused of being a government plant or paid off by “The Man”? Then you’ve never run into a hardcore conspiracy theorist. Be grateful, because such encounters are often as baffling as they are annoying.

That statement may ruffle the feathers of those who view such a comment as an attempt to make conspiracy theorists look “bonkers” (a favorite accusation of the more paranoid conspiracy theorists…).

However, at some point people need to be able to back up their arguments with facts and not the assertion that a total stranger is being paid to spread misinformation.

There is a big difference between indulging in the belief that things are being purposely hidden by individuals with nefarious purposes and the need to accuse everyone who doesn’t think like you of being on the inside of some master scheme.

It’s important to remember that unethical government and business practices are actually readily acknowledged by the average person as these events are often front page news.

Just ask Edward Snowden, Julian Assange, or “Deep Throat”: Whistle-blowing is a time honored tradition.

If we know this to be so, it’s easy to acknowledge that there are valid reasons to have conspiracy theories. In fact, some theories have been proven right.

So when do conspiracy theories go off the rails?

1.) When they are developed based on unsubstantiated fear and bigotry rather than supporting evidence. At the heart of the more bizarre conspiracies is often the belief that the theorist is in danger.

Really, if what you knew was so dangerous, it’s logical to believe that you’d already be dead instead of living to blab all over Facebook and Reddit from a computer that’s more traceable than you think.

There’s actually no reason to be afraid because…

2.) You’re just not that special. Some people seek to uncover the truth in order to bring a very real wrong to the attention of the world. Others spend all day discussing their opinion on the internet because of a need to convince the world of how much smarter they are than everyone else.

It’s easy to guess which group is useful and proactive and which group is full of ridiculously entitled windbags.

At the end of the day, conspiracy theories are suppose to be centered around a mysterious event. When each discussion is brought around to you and your ego…you’ve lost the plot.

3.) You are not entitled to know everything. Imagine that you knew everything there is to know about the universe and all events from the beginning to the end of time.

You know how the universe started and will end. You know who killed Kennedy. You know what really led to the founding of Christianity and whether or not Jesus existed. You know whether or not there is an Illuminati and the members of every secret society that ever existed.

Now…what can you possibly do with billions of years of knowledge in a single human lifetime?

It seems like the easiest answer is to tell everyone as much as you can.

    Guess what?

Not everyone is going to believe you or care about what you know.

You will likely be dead anyway since that is often the fate of the men who know too much and then talk too much. C’est la vie.

Even if you are magically spared an involuntary vanishing act, you will probably be extremely unhappy since being burdened with so much information will likely strain your mental faculties.

Does this mean the pursuit of truth is pointless? Never!

When overindulging in conspiracies threatens your ability to discuss world events sensibly or even function possibly, it’s simply wise to walk away. The best use of acquired knowledge isn’t just illuminating; it’s actually put to use.

Anyone can mouth off paranoid theories on the internet. It takes a special person to put what they know to good use and improve the world around them.

  • Tragic Plane Crash Kills Loretta Fuddy

State public health Director Loretta Fuddy, the woman who verified the authenticity of President Obama’s birth certificate has died in a plane crash off the coast of Hawaii.

Some thought the tragic death was fixed, suggesting that Obama had something to do with the crash. While there’s been professors and people alike who believe in conspiracy theories, no one has been as upfront about their take on the crash until yesterday late-afternoon.

Donald Trump angrily took to Twitter, blatantly broadcasting his opinion.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2R2Ra_gS3I

While there is still much controversy spinning through the air, the important thing to remember is the life that was lost.

65-year-old Fuddy was one of 9 people in the plane that crashed into the ocean. After leaving the Kalaupapa Airport at 3:15, the plane crashed shortly after.

According to Honolulu Fire Capt. Terry Seelig, everyone else on the plane was rescued except for Fruddy was “remained in the fuselage of the plane.”

  • Tila Tequila: “Hitler Was A Good Man”, History Lies

Take what you will from Tila Tequila – a former car model, MySpace celebrity, and reality TV show host. She’s made a video and blog post exposing the Illuminati, the secret organization that (supposedly) controls the world. Both Larry King and Alex Jones denied her an interview; Facebook has suspended her account; and she’s not on Twitter anymore. Is it because she’s really crazy and irrelevant or she actually knows something?

Tequila said she’s been an “insider for ten years now” and that she knows exactly when “the others” have made their mark on her website – usually through forms of slandering, a sort of detraction from her arguments.

On December 7th, Tequila posted on her website Part 1 of a series about how Adolf Hitler has been explicitly reported as a monster all this time; the infamous dictator has been painted up falsely by history.

The first sentence of Tequila’s blog post reads that:

“As the story goes the victor is the one who gets to write how history is played out, and seeing how Hitler lost the war you should at least know that what has been told to us by the media has not been truthful”

For a short summarized version, she makes these points:

    • She does not hate the Jews, just those who rewrote history for their own evil agenda:

“I am not going to sit here and say that I hate Jewish people because that is not the case nor is this about Jews.  It is about Hitler and his side of the story that was never told since he was not the victor.”

    • That war ultimately solves nothing, no matter which side uses it:

“People DIE in wars that is why I am against wars.  They solve nothing!”

    • That everybody has suffered the hardship of war, not just Jews:

“I understand the Jewish people went through some shit too, but hey guess what?? SO DID THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE WHO SUFFERED IN EVERY SINGLE WAR THST TOOK PLACE!  You were NOT the only ones!”

    • The reason why a majority of people hate Hitler is because the media told them to:

It brought me to tears because I used to think all of those horrible things about him until I learned the truth about the war and what Hitler truly did and he was not a bad person as they have painted him out to be.  Not even close!!!  I cry because my heart feels ….. broken.”

    • Hitler offered a peace treaty to Franklin D. Roosevelt, but he refused:

Adolf Hitler actually OFFERED A PEACE TREATY TO END THE WAR BUT THE US PRESIDENT AT THAT TIME  FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT REFUSED HITLER’S PEACE OFFER???  YES IT IS TRUE! Are you actually surprised considering the United States of America has grasped at the chance at EVERY WAR POSSIBLE???”

    • Hitler never wanted a worldwide genocide:

“All he wanted was to be able to feed his people from the depression, defend his country from being attacked unfairly, and they claimed the war and harassed him and his people first…. I bet you didn’t know about THAT now did you?”

What are your thoughts? Tila has also posted rare videos of Hitler’s “inspiring speeches” that show his “true colors as a man of compassion.”

  • A New Princess Diana Conspiracy Theory Book

On August 31st, 1997, Princess Diana died in a car crash in Paris, France. Ever since that devastating day there’s been a lot of unnerving claims surrounding Princess Diana’s death. Claims of which are called “conspiracies”, a dirty little word that titillates Jesse Ventura, stimulates elaborate discussions (as well as doubts), and conjures images of paranoid tin foil hat wearers. On one side, you have official reports that conclude that Henri Paul, the chauffeur for Diana, lost control of the vehicle while driving 121 mph with a blood alcohol level of between 0.173 and 0.187. On the other side, you have Mohamed Al-Fayed (the owner of Hôtel Ritz, for which Paul worked) claiming that the crash was orchestrated by MI6 on orders by the Royal Family.

    (image)

Flash forward to 2013, and you have a Wikipedia page with 6156 words and 70 sources all dedicated to conspiracy theories surrounding Princess Diana’s death. Some of the debunked and archived conspiracies say:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J78XTapRon8

In August and October of this year, two new books were released surrounding the purported plots and pacts to pulverize the princess.

Alan Power’s The Princess Diana Conspiracy claims that Paul had been secretly in cahoots with MI6. Powers goes on in his book saying that Paul was double crossed, and MI6 conspired with an SAS hit squad to wipe out both him and the princess

    (image)

An even newer booked titled The Assassination of Princess Diana by John Morgan touches up on how someone “tampered with” Princess Diana’s vehicle, resulting in brake failure. Morgan says in his book that even Diana believed there was a plot to kill her based off notes and phone calls she made with friends and lawyers. Princess Diana allegedly said to her friend Simone Simmons that she was being stalked by “the men in grey suits”, a conclave of killers who cut the brakes of her soft-top green Audi in November of 1995. According to the book, what followed next was that Diana experienced brake failure when driving back to Kensington Palace from a doctor’s appoint in Marylebone; the princess winded up coasting through red traffic lights after putting her foot on the brake.

    (image)

Above you’ll see a letter written by Princess Diana sent to her butler Paul Burrell. Burrell kept it secret until after the car crash in Paris in 1997 which killed Diana. The letter has been questioned for its validity. Lucia Flecha de Lima, a close friend of the princess, said that Burrell was “perfectly capable of imitating” her handwriting.

  • 911 Call For Bigfoot: Only Bear Tracks Found

Bigfoot sightings are a perennial sideshow in the U.S. Vague claims invariably turn out to be regular animal hair, gorilla suits, hoaxes, or nothing at all.

This week, a man in Pennsylvania kicked off the latest Bigfoot mania with a bizarre call to 911. According to a report from a CBS affiliate in central Pennsylvania, John Winesickle of Altoona, Pennsylvania this week called police claiming to have evidence for the elusive creature.

Police humored the man, sending out an officer to investigate what Winesickle claimed were Bigfoot tracks. The officer followed the man into the woods, investigated the prints, and concluded that the tracks were left by a bear.

It appears that Winesickle was not trying to pull one over on police, but was genuinely mistaken about the animal prints. In fact, the man still believes that the tracks he found were left by Bigfoot.

“No, no, no, no, no,” said Winesickle. “See, a bear can’t go down a steep bank on all twos. That’s proven this is a Bigfoot.”

Winesickle also claims that he has heard Bigfoot calls while out in the woods, saying, “The voice is so deep. “I’ve heard bass singers on television – they can’t even come close to the bass sound that it made towards me.”

  • Study Claims That 1/3 Americans Believe In UFOs

Do you believe in UFOs? I know that I certainly do even though I have never even come close to seeing one. It is very hard for me to believe that in the billions of years that this universe has been around, there is not on species that has figured out interstellar travel. A new study that was released finds that 80 million Americans, or 36 percent of the population, believe UFOs are real and that 1 in 10 Americans believe that they have seen one.

Also the study found that if aliens were to invade the country sometime in the next four years, 65 percent of survey respondents said President Obama would be better suited for handling the invasion than Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. The survey was commissioned by the National Geographic Channel to promote its new series “Chasing UFOs.”

To me what is even more astounding than the fact that 36% believe, is that 48 percent aren’t sure. Which means that the perception of aliens visiting our planet is becoming more and more accepting as time goes on. The new NatGeo survey found that a whopping 79 percent of people think the government has kept information about UFOs a secret from the public, and more than half (55 percent) believe there are real-life “Men in Black”-style agents who threaten people who spot UFOs.

So to wrap it up, lots of people believe in aliens, and even more believe that the government is hiding secrets from us.

  • NASA Scientist Discovered Filming Mars Landing!

So, in a weird that they didn’t just tell us about this, kind of way. A NASA team was discovered in the middle of the desert in California doing what looks like a video shoot of their newest rover on Mars. But fret not, this isn’t the start of a new conspiracy to fool everyone into thinking that we aren’t really sending probes to Mars.

This is what NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, in charge of the Curiosity mission had to say about the scarecrow that was seen:

“Team members of NASA’s Mars Science Laboratory mission took a test rover to Dumont Dunes in California’s Mojave Desert this week to improve knowledge of the best way to operate a similar rover, Curiosity, currently flying to Mars for an August landing. The test rover that they put through paces on various sandy slopes has a full-scale version of Curiosity’s mobility system, but it is otherwise stripped down so that it weighs about the same on Earth as Curiosity will weigh in the lesser gravity of Mars. Information collected in these tests on windward and downwind portions of dunes will be used by the rover team in making decisions about driving Curiosity on dunes near a mountain in the center of Gale Crater.”

It is called “Scarecrow” because it lacks the sophisticated computer brain that the Curiosity has. The lightened practice runabout also doesn’t have Curiosity’s rock-melting high powered laser or its nuclear power plant either. Also the real “Curiosity” lifted off aboard an Atlas V rocket on November 26th of last year. It will get to Mars on August 5th.

Here is look at where the rover is in relation to Mars on it’s trip. Nasa updates this graphic constantly so keep up to date by clicking on the picture:

And just in case you were ever wondering how the heck do they land on Mars? Well here is a quick 1 minute video tutorial from the JPL lab:

  • Suge Knight Thinks Tupac Is Still Alive

Maybe Marion “Suge” Knight is enjoying 420 day a little too much, or maybe he mistook the Tupac hologram for the real thing, but whatever the case, the once-CEO of Death Row Records thinks the return-to-trend-status rapper is still alive. Knight also poses some interesting theories on the subject.

TMZ (who else?) snagged a recording of a radio interview Knight gave to 93.5 KDay in Los Angeles. During the interview, the suggestion that Shakur faked his death, saying no one has “seen Tupac dead.” The audio is embedded below:

    (image)

It’s clear the hologram-that-wasn’t-a-hologram performance of Tupac at Coachella has put the rapper on the front burner again, which brings up the fun conspiracy theories as well.

Many would cite the autopsy photo (NSFW) as evidence, but there are those who think that’s fake, too. As an aside, whatever your position on Tupac’s mortality, I would recommend reading that thread. It’s life-affirming. An example:

…As you can see, the Autopsy Photo, has originally came from the video of california love at 06:42, where 2pac wakes up from his dream. which explains why half the other side of pacs face and body is missing. Because there isn’t alot of colour or light in that part of the video. So the author used to lack of colour and light to add in the cut in the skull and the open bloody chest.

    Which is followed by:

    you are phuckin genius

Now, whether that is in jest or not is up to you. Whatever the case, thanks to the KDay interview, we now know what side of the fence Suge Knight stands on. Are you going to tell him he’s wrong? And just because it’s that kind of day, here’s perhaps the most overlooked Tupac song ever:

  • Andrew Breitbart Conspiracy Theories Starting

    Andrew Breitbart Conspiracy Theories Starting

In a posting on lsnewsgroup.com, Lawrence Sinclair spoke about Andrew Breitbart and the professional relationship that the two of them shared. The story consisted of some confusing questions about whether or not Breitbart’s death was from “natural causes”. There is no other, more sinister, cause mentioned in the article itself. But, Sinclair then makes rather bewildering statement:

Andrew Breitbart was one of the inspirations behind our consolidation of our multiple domain names into what has become Sinclair-News-LSNewsGroup. With the announcement of Andrew’s passing overnight we could not help recalling our conversation just 3 weeks ago in Washington, DC. Andrew said on Feb 9, 2012 in Washington, DC “wait til they see what happens March first.”

What did happen March 1st? Breitbart died, of course. Why did he make this statement to Sinclair? Sinclair never says.

Comments on the article questioned this, as well.

OMG someone give me some context on the “march 1st” thing, and why he would possibly be a target for assassination.

He died for speaking the truth. And that is what killed him. He stepped over the line.

He had the goods on somebody very powerful and that somebody had him killed. Case closed.

Since that original posting, it has been appended with the following statement:

In light of the comments which have been posted on this article we want to make something perfectly clear. We are not and have not said nor do we believe the death of Andrew Breitbart is the result of anything other than a believed heart attack. We simply reported that different media outlets reporting the cause of death as being of “natural causes” before a cause of death has been determined is wrong and has created this sense of something more sinister. While we are certain Joel Pollak meant well with stating his opinion as to the cause of death (as did Andrews father-in-law) reporting “natural causes” as being “fact” before a cause had been official determined and entered on a death certificate is wrong for so many obvious reasons.

Paul Joseph Watson, on InfoWars.com, piled on by conflating Breitbart’s death with his plans to release some tapes from President Obama’s days at Harvard. Breitbart had said these tapes would show “why racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change was sold in 2008”

“In a stunning coincidence, it appears Andrew Breitbart suffered his untimely death just hours before he was set to release damning video footage that could have sunk Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.”

The tinfoil hat crowd even has theories about how Breitbart’s heart attack was “induced”.

‘The standard method of assassination to provide a certified autopsy report of “death by natural causes” is the little EM beam “shooter” using the Venus ECCM technique – i.e., warping of its wavefront – to destroy the body’s control of its heartbeat.’

Like Bill Clinton before him, quiet rumblings of murder plots are forming about President Obama.

  • Is Twitter Censorship Being Pushed By A Saudi Prince?

Is Twitter Censorship Being Pushed By A Saudi Prince?

Did a Saudi Prince’s investment in Twitter have anything to do with the recent Twitter censorship announcement? Most of Twitter’s users seems to think so.

As we reported back in December, Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal purchased a stake in Twitter at $300 million. At the time, the purchase was described by Talal as being “a suitable opportunity to invest in promising, high-growth businesses with global impact.”

Talal owns Kingdom Holdings Company. The company owns stakes in Apple, Time Warner, Citigroup, Pepsi, General Motors, Walt Disney and News Corp. Twitter was the first social media giant that Talal saw fit to invest in.

There was already some speculation back in December that the move was an act of self-preservation with one analyst saying that he was using the Twitter investment to prevent any further revolutions in the region.

Twitter users have latched onto the news and are squarely pointing the blame at Talal as the reason behind the recent change in Twitter’s policy.
