  • Bella Thorne To Return To “Scream” After Dying In Opening Scene

Bella Thorne was killed of in the very first scene of the MTV Scream reboot series.

But, after Comic-Con , it seems Bella Thorne will be back.

Bella Thorne said of her surprise reappearance, “You will see more Nina. More mean — and less dead!”

Producers and showrunners didn’t say when or how Bella Thorne’s character would reappear, but Thorne was just happy to be coming back.

Although, she was really pretty excited about being killed off.

Bella Thorne said, “I really wanted to die onscreen. Everybody wants to kill you off because you’re not well-liked. I felt bad being so mean!”

Bella Thorne joined the ranks of Drew Barrymore, Jada Pinkett Smith, Mike Epps and Kristen Bell to die in the opening scene of the Scream films.

Bella Thorne let it slip early on that she would be dying right out of the gate.

In a Facebook Q&A, Bella Thorne said, “Yes it is true. I will re-enact the famous scene of Drew Barrymore in the original series.”

Bella Thorne also admitted that she turned down the lead role due to travel restraints.

She said, “It just didn’t end up working out relocation-wise. I just couldn’t do it. I’m too young to relocate.”

She added, “I love my mom and my brother. Although that sounds very immature, I’m still a kid at heart. I like being home in my bed and I can’t lose my brother just yet. We’re best friends.”

Well, it seems that, while Bella Thorne didn’t get to be the lead role in the Scream series, she will at least play a larger part than hoped.

Co-showrunners Jill E. Blotevogel and Jaime Paglia revealed at Comic-Con that they wanted to keep the story going along the lines of American Horror Story.

Paglia said, “You want to follow the characters after they go through their first experiences.”

Are you excited to see how and when Bella Thorne will reappear in Scream?

  • Ginnifer Goodwin Among Those Who Debuted New Looks At Comic-Con

Ginnifer Goodwin made waves at Comic-Con over the weekend when she appeared with a grey/lavender hue instead of the usual dark brown on her pixie cut.

Ginnifer Goodwin was on hand to promote her popular ABC show, Once Upon a Time.

During the panel on the show, someone just had to ask Ginnifer Goodwin if the hair color would transfer to Snow White.

Ginnifer Goodwin replied, “No, [the color is just for me], in real life. Mary Margaret will still be brunette!”

Goodwin told Us Weekly, “I was copying my makeup artist. I was like, ‘It’s beautiful, I want that!’ I’ve always loved gray, but I guess the key is lilac.”

However, it wasn’t easy for Ginnifer Goodwin to accomplish that perfect hue.

She said, “It took eight hours of bleaching—eight hours! I got a headache—it was a whole big thing—but it was worth it.”

It was probably worth it for the other stars who showed up at Comic-Con with a new look, as well.

Lily James also debuted a new shorter, darker look with her hair while she was promoting her film Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

Such an amazing show of different looks this year!

What did you think of Ginnifer Goodwin’s new purplish-grey hair color? Do you think she should stick with it or go back to brunette?

  • Melissa Benoist On “Supergirl”: She Is All About Hope, Positivity

Melissa Benoist was among the throng over the weekend at Comic-Con to promote her new CBS show, Supergirl.

During an interview, Melissa Benoist revealed just how excted she was to bring Supergirl to life.

She said, “It’s just high time. She speaks for hope and bravery and positivity and kindness, and shows that you can be strong without hurting people and without aggression and force. And I just think the message is so clear and pure.”

She added, “It’s time for something like that. Some clarity and some positivity.”

It was also fun to hear about the first time Melissa Benoist tried on the suit.

Melissa Benoist said, “That’s a pretty indescribable feeling. It’s hard to articulate, but it really feels like this, internal transformation, you know?”

She added, “I didn’t expect it, ’cause you’re just putting on tights, you’re putting on a leotard and a cape and whatever. But there’s something that really changes its strength.”

And now we all want to try on that suit.

Melissa Benoist also made a surprising, but low-key, admission at Comic-Con.

It seems that Melissa Benoist and her long-time beau, Blake Jenner, got married!

    Like, a long time ago.

Melissa Benoist was wearing a delicate silver band on her ring finger while promoting Supergirl at Comic-Con, where she told several people that her wedding day had already happened. Sources say her wedding was back in late March.

Blake Jenner has been spotted wearing a ring on the special finger since April, so that would make sense!

What an exciting time for Melissa Benoist! Are you looking forward to seeing the Glee alum as Supergirl?

  • Wonder Woman Costume Revives Eternal Sexism Debate

Wonder Woman Costume Revives Eternal Sexism Debate

Wonder Woman is a highly-anticipated feature in the new Batman Vs. Superman, and for good reason.

The new Wonder Woman is played by lovely Isreali actress Gal Gadot, and if the trailer speaks to her appearance in the movie, she is sure to impress.

Over the weekend at Comic-con, Gal Gadot described the moment she came face-to-face with the new Wonder Woman suit.

She said, “Three days after I got cast for the movie, they flew me to Michigan, and I got into this huge room filled with images of me as Wonder Woman.”

She added, “We got into another room and I saw the costume for the first time. And we had a fitting, and it was an out-of-body experience — there I was, little Gal from Israel becoming Wonder Woman. I think it really represents the Wonder Woman of today, I’m very grateful to be the one who is going to bring her to life.”

What an amazing story! However, it is that very costume, as well as the various depictions of Wonder Woman through out comic history, that has re-stirred the debate about the over-sexualization of Wonder Woman.

    Specifically, those high-heel boots.

Some think that perhaps the boots, since they’re not practical at all for fighting crime, are simply part of the man-geared sexual image of Wonder Woman.

What do you think about the boots? Symbol of oppression or are the boots lodged too deeply in super hero culture at this point to be replaced?

  • Lena Headey of ‘Game of Thrones’ Welcomes Baby Girl and Is In “Unconditional Heartbreaking Divine Love’

Lena Headey of Game of Thrones announced on Friday that she is now the proud mother of a baby girl.

Lena announced the arrival of her second child in a tweet on Friday.

“Hello peeps . All good. Just fallen in unconditional heartbreaking divine love for the second time,” she wrote.

Lena Headey, 41, didn’t include the name of the new little bundle of joy. She announced the pregnancy in February and has declined to name the father of the child.

According to Page Six, Headey’s newborn daughter joins big brother Wylie, 5, who is the son of Lena and ex-husband musician Peter Loughran. The couple wed in 2007 and divorced in 2013.

After the news of her pregnancy was announced, Lena served as guest essay for Plan International USA, also revealing that the baby would be a girl.

“My daughter will have freedom of choice,” Headey wrote in her post. “She will be free to dance, to sing, to be educated in the fields that spark her passion, to marry if she wants, to marry WHO she wants, to remain single, or to fall in love with another woman. She’ll be able to wear what she wants, put on lipstick, and read books that spark debate and expand her mind. She will be loved, protected, respected, and celebrated. All these things that should be, and will be, basic human rights, are a promise to my daughter.”

The British actress was one of the few cast mates absent from Friday’s Game of Thrones panel at Comic-Con 2015 in San Diego.

  • Natalie Dormer of ‘Game of Thrones’ Turns Eyes With Her Bold Fashion Choice at Comic-Con

Natalie Dormer of Game of Thrones certainly turned eyes with her bold fashion statement at a panel discussion with the cast of the famed HBO series.

The 33-year-old actress, who plays Margaery Tyrell in Game of Thrones, opted for a white boxy crop top paired with a very colorful pair of slinky high-waisted flares that showed off her slender frame perfectly.

With her tousled blonde coiffed to the side of her shoulders, the British-born Dormer posed for photos with her hand on her hip at the 2015 Comic-Con event, held at the San Diego Convention Centre.

Currently starring as Cressida in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, Natalie Dormer laughed and joked with her colleagues on the panel as they fielded questions from the audience.

The Daily Mail reports that Natalie Dormer was joined on stage by Carice van Houten (Melisandre), Liam Cunningham (Stannis Baratheon’s right hand man Davos Seaworth) and Gwendoline Christie who plays Brienne of Tarth.

Hannah Murray (Gilly), John Bradley (Samwell Tarley), Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Conleth Hill (Varys) and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) were also on the panel.

Fans were likely shocked to hear that apart from Gwendoline, none of the Game of Thrones cast members had ever read the books.

“People would come up and be like, ‘Arya goes blind!’” said Maisie. “And I’d be like, ‘Yeah, I knew that. I totally knew that.’ Even though I didn’t.”

Natalie Dormer was called out a bit when one audience member asked her about her future plot lines.

‘To be perfectly honest, honey, a lot of us here at the table are in the same position as you guys and I don’t have an effing clue what will happen,’ replied Natalie Dormer.

  • Gwendoline Christie Loves Both Of Her Powerful Female Roles

Gwendoline Christie Loves Both Of Her Powerful Female Roles

Gwendoline Christie is not lacking for work in Hollywood these days.

Best known as Brienne of Tarth on the incredibly popular show, Game of Thrones, Gwendoline Christie is no stranger to a powerful female influence in the roles she takes.

Gwendoline Christie outlined just how much she loves her role at Comic-Con during the Game of Thrones panel.

Gwendoline Christie applauded, basically, the fact that her TV relationship with Jaime Lannister is so deep and complicated and at the same time, not at all based on sex.

She said, “In a mainstream TV show, we got to see this very unique, very unconventional woman enduring abuse from a man, and then the power lay in the fact that that got turned on its head, to develop a grudging respect for each other that’s intense and close and doesn’t have its roots in sexuality.”

She added, “And I was thrilled to see that at last, and I thought it was a very powerful, modern representation of women.”

It is pretty rare, if you think about it.

Gwendoline Christie was also very complimentary of J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasden for not making her ground-breaking female storm trooper role in the upcoming Star Wars installation super sexy.

Although there are some nerds that might find that idea sexy enough.

She said, “I found it exciting that there was a female storm trooper, but it was also this opportunity to explore a female character that’s totally not about the way she looks.”

She added, “I just thought it was exciting that underneath that armor was a woman.”
