  • Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, and Naomi Campbell Reunite for Balmain Spring 2016 Campaign

Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, and Naomi Campbell were all supermodels of the 1990s. The ladies are back at it–together, too–for Balmain’s Spring 2016 campaign. Not surprisingly, all three look as amazing as they did in the 90s.

Balmain Paris shared photos of Schiffer, Crawford, and Campbell via Instagram.

“CLAUDIA, CINDY & NAOMI #BALMAINSS16 #ClaudiaSchiffer #CindyCrawford and #NaomiCampbell star in the #Balmain Spring/Summer 2016 ad campaign. Creative Director #PascalDangin at KiDS Creative Photographer #StevenKlein #BALMAINARMY #TOPMODELS,” this one is captioned.

Then there are the solo shots.

Check out Cindy Crawford. Can you believe she is 49?

Claudia Schiffer looks amazing for 45.

    Naomi Campbell is 45, too.

Do you suppose Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, or Naomi Campbell predicted they would get back together in their 40s and take on a campaign the size of Balmain’s Spring 2016 line?

  • Claudia Schiffer Joins Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell for New Balmain Campaign

After successful campaigns with younger models Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Gigi and Bella Hadid, fashion house Balmain is turning back the clock, so to speak.

Balmain’s newest ad campaign stars some industry veterans – Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, and Naomi Campbell.

And they all look absolutely fabulous.

Check out the awesome shots below:

“While we shot these images, I had to smile as I imagined how my adolescent self would have reacted with utter disbelief if someone could have traveled back in time to tell me that one day I would be in a New York studio, watching Steven Klein shoot Cindy, Claudia and Naomi for my Spring 2016 campaign — for those four singular talents have inspired me from day one,” Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing, told People.

What do you think of the new campaign?

  • Claudia Schiffer Turns Down Million Dollar Date

Claudia Schiffer turned down a million dollar date…Literally.

You can’t put a price tag on the gorgeous blonde.

The German supermodel recently revealed that someone once tried to “hire” her for $1 million.

“The strangest one was an Arab prince. He asked if he could hire me for a dinner for a million pounds. I declined, and some other supermodel took it,” Schiffer said when asked about a bizarre moment from her career on The Jonathan Ross Show.

Schiffer didn’t reveal the Arab prince’s name or model’s name who accepted the offer name.

But why did the supermodel turn the huge offer down?

It turns out, it’s not just about money for the 43-year-old.

“It’s not all about money,” she explained. “I just want to be able to walk down the street and be proud of what I do.”

Schiffer even talked about her early days as a supermodel, claiming that she was “really, really shy.”

But her shyness soon wore off after the term “supermodel” was coined, generating a buzz unlike any she had ever experienced before.

“When we left fashion shows, suddenly there were thousands of people. I’m not exaggerating! You had to have security people get you to your car—it just went crazy…It was like [being] a rock star,” she said.

    “I loved it.”

  • Claudia Schiffer Once Turned Down $1 Million Date with Arab Prince

Claudia Schiffer recently recalled some of the most outlandish moments of her long and successful career in the fashion industry:

“The strangest one was an Arab prince. He asked if he could hire me for a dinner for a million pounds. I declined, and some other supermodel took it.”

“It’s not all about money,” Schiffer explained. “I just want to be able to walk down the street and be proud of what I do.”

Schiffer’s modeling career started when she was discovered at a Düsseldorf, Germany night club at the age of 17. Schiffer said she never expected modeling to be a permanent thing. In fact, at one point she considered following in her father’s footsteps and becoming an attorney.

Instead, Schiffer became one of the original “supermodels.” Despite her initial hesitation about that label and the fact that Schiffer was painfully shy, she admits to relishing the fame she enjoyed back in the heady 1990s.

Twenty-six years later, Schiffer still works occasionally in the fashion industry but does so very selectively.

“To be able to say no you have to be happy in yourself, and I am,” she says. “I am balanced and, though I am shy, I am secure and safe. I’m also secure in my position in fashion as I know I worked really hard over a long period of time.”

Schiffer married British film director Matthew Vaughn in 2002, after a high-profile engagement to magician David Copperfield that lasted from 1994 to 1999.

Schiffer and Vaughn have three children: Caspar, 11; Clementine, nine; and Cosima, three. In early 2013 the family decided to reside primarily in their rural Suffolk home, enrolling their children in what Schiffer calls “a country school” in order to escape the constant presence of paparazzi.

“Matthew and I decided that it wasn’t a healthy environment in which to raise children,” Schiffer said of their life in northwest London.

But Schiffer finds herself back in London for the time being as she adds the role of executive film producer to her impressive resume. She’s working with Vaughn on The Secret Service, a thriller due out in March 2015 starring Samuel L. Jackson and Colin Firth. Other big names rumored to be attached to the movie include Adele, David Beckham, Michael Caine, Elton John, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift.

Schiffer is also working on interiors, props, wardrobe, hair and make-up for the film.

“I’ve helped on all his films before,” said Schiffer, “but over the years I’ve got more and more involved and my husband is more involved in my projects, so we’ve moved everything closer together.”

  • Claudia Schiffer Talks Indecent Proposal, Supermodel Label

Claudia Schiffer was one of the most famous faces of the ’90s; as one of the original “supermodels”–along with Cindy Crawford and Linda Evangelista, among others–she became a household name fairly quickly, especially after landing the coveted Guess? job. But recently, Schiffer said she wasn’t at first comfortable with the supermodel title because she wanted to be taken seriously for what she did.

“When they started talking about ‘super’ and ‘supermodel’, I thought ‘this is really insulting’—I want to be taken seriously in the high-end world of Chanel, Yves St Laurent,” she said. “I don’t want to be some supermodel…We all got a bit annoyed, which in retrospect was ridiculous,” said Schiffer, who considered herself “really, really shy” during her heyday in the ’90s. “‘Supermodel’ sounds like a tabloid name, but then we realized, ‘Hold on, maybe actually this is a good thing,’ because when we left fashion shows, suddenly there were thousands of people. I’m not exaggerating! You had to have security people get you to your car—it just went crazy…It was like [being] a rock star,” the 5-foot-11 stunner added. “I loved it.”

But being that famous came at a high cost; Schiffer says her high-visibility made her the target of at least one “Indecent Proposal”-type offers from a prince who loved a pretty face.

“The strangest one was an Arab prince. He asked if he could hire me for a dinner for a million pounds. I declined, and some other supermodel took it….It’s not all about money. I just want to be able to walk down the street and be proud of what I do,” she said.

It might surprise some to know that the supermodel was once extremely shy, and it affected her career in the early days. However, she says that once she got into the job, things got easier.

“I would always turn bright red, and so then I became even more shy, thinking, ‘I don’t want to be here.’ Once I put the make-up on I’d go, ‘OK, I can cope, no one can see what I’m thinking’,” she said.
