    Cashmere: The Hot Christmas Gift

It’s that time of year again where gift receipts and wrapping paper fly around more than the snow. That’s right folks, the holidays are upon us and I know I’m not the only one that has a whopping list of Christmas presents to buy. And of course the worst part of holiday shopping, beyond the crazed last-minute shoppers, scrambling for the very last “it” toy is the dreading question we all ask one another…What do I buy you for Christmas?

Of course there are the tablets that everyones been raving about, but who has that kind of money to spend on one gift-especially when you’re buying for more than one? Then we have the new video games, but those are expensive and really are worthless without the new and improved game consoles. (And speaking of that new and improved game console…yeah, that’s over $400 and it’s seriously nowhere to be found.)

So that leaves me to the easiest, most lovely Christmas present that is both classic and practical and not to mention the added bonus of applying to most ages and both sexes. What is this mysterious Christmas prize I’m speaking of, you might ask?

    It’s Cashmere.

While some of you might be a tad bummed that I’ve built up this mere fabric to something close to magic, let me remind you what this soft, cuddly fabric has to offer you and the many on your nice list. Allow me to reintroduce you to the one and only, Cashmere.

Cashmere isn’t the same as it used to be. Not only has the fabric become more accessible to various ages, it’s become more affordable.

Take a look at Macy’s Cashmere collection.
A vast majority of their items-sweaters included-are currently 20% off.

If you’ve got more room in your budget, check out J Crew’s Cashmere Shop. It’s literally a click away to a plethora of items made of the luxurious fabric.

And for those of you who maybe can’t afford-or let’s be honest, justify-the price of a true Cashmere sweater, check out stores like Old Navy or the Gap where they offer snuggly alternatives to the decadent fabric.

Happy holidays, merry shopping and always remember it’s the spirit we spread, not the money we spend.
