  • Christina Aguilera Pregnant with a Girl

A week after their romantic Valentine’s day engagement, Christina Aguilera announced she is expecting a baby with her new fiancé Matthew Rutler.

Rutler and Aguilera met while filming Burlesque, where Aguilera showed off her acting skills and Rutler worked as a production assistant. The couple became involved while Aguilera’s divorce from former husband Jordan Bratman was being finalized. They have been together three years.

Now, confirms JustJared.com, the couple are having a little girl.

Aguilera reportedly delivered the news to fans at a performance in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on March 28th. No video captured the moment. She tweeted shortly after the event.

Fans tweeted the news and their support for her as a singer and a mother.

Aguilera’s new baby girl will give six-year-old son Max a sister, though Aguilera still shares custody of Max with Bratman.

Aguilera recently took a season off of reality singing competition The Voice and plans to take season six off as well to spend more time with her growing family. Shakira will take Aguilera’s space as a judge on the show. If Aguilera’s adoring Twitter following is any indication, she will be sorely missed.

  • Christina Aguilera’s Romantic Valentine’s Engagement

Christina Aguilera became engaged on Valentine’s Day to long-term boyfriend Matthew Rutler, which she announced via her official Twitter page.

The Voice judge has been dating Rutler since the two met on the set of Burlesque in 2010 where Rutler was a film assistant.

Aguilera purchased a $10 million Mulholland Estates home for the two last year, and share the mansion with her 6-year-old son, Max; the “Genie in a Bottle” singer gave birth to Max during her first marriage to Jordan Bratman.

According to E! Online, Aguilera and Bratman’s nearly 5-year marriage officially ended in April 2011 when their divorce was finalized. The “Beautiful” singer filed for dissolution of marriage in October 2010 after having been separated from her music executive hubby since early September. The two agreed to share legal and physical custody of Max.

The 33-year-old star posted a picture on Twitter of her new – and sizable – rock, holding hands with Rutler in what appears to be a tropical setting with a beach in the background.

According to People, Aguilera and Rutler are “very much in love and excited to take this to the next step!”

So far, Aguilera has not mentioned a date for the wedding.

  • Christina Aguilera Engaged to Matt Rutler

Christina Aguilera and long time boyfriend Matt Rutler are engaged. The Voice coach and Genie in a Bottle singer and her beau got engaged on Valentine’s Day.

“They’re very much in love and are really excited to take this next step!” a source told People magazine.

Aguilera has one child–a son named Max–from her marriage to Jordan Bratman. Rutler has been a constant in Max’s life since he was a very small boy.

While it’s a bit cliche to get engaged on what is supposed to be the most romantic day of the year, romance is romance, and Christina Aguilera is now sporting a beautiful engagement ring, She was all too happy to share word of her engagement via Twitter–teasing fans by saying, “He asked and I said…….”

That’s an incredibly impressive engagement ring Christina is wearing. Musician and production assistant Matt Rutler must rake in some pretty impressive dough in order to put out enough to buy a ring like that. Of course when one is asking Christina Aguilera for her hand in marriage, one cannot do so with a solitaire from Zales.

Very little information has been released yet about Christina Aguilera’s engagement to Matt Rutler–not wear he popped the question or if any wedding plans are in the foreseeable future. It will be very interesting to learn what the couple’s plans are.

Alas no one will be learning by tuning in to The Voice when its new season premieres on February 24th. Christina is taking this season off and Shakira is once again taking her place. That means TV, print and online news will have to suffice until next season of The Voice rolls around. It will be fun to listen to Blake Shelton and Adam Levine tease Xtina about her impending nuptials.

How long do you suppose it might actually be before Christina Aguilera and Matt Rutler actually tie that proverbial knot?

  • Christina Aguilera Spotted Makeup Free

    Christina Aguilera Spotted Makeup Free

Christina Aguilera was all dolled up for the Peoples Choice Awards on Wednesday, but was seen earlier that day sans any makeup at all. The Voice coach and longtime boyfriend Matt Rutler were spotted out and about in L.A. and Aguilera wore no makeup–sporting a fresh faced look that was natural and pretty. Christina previously recorded her appearance at the Peoples Choice Awards, and in it she made reference to her recent weight loss, which looks pretty spectacular, too.

Even without makeup Aguilera has a beautiful complexion. She hid behind big sunglasses and wore a beanie in an effort to hide her identity, but there’s no mistaking the 33-year-old singer. Even though she keeps a low profile on the streets of L.A., she’s had no problem showing off her new svelte body on The Voice. Her weight loss has certainly upped her confidence and she has shown off that new confidence lately in a number of racy outfits.

Christina Aguilera will skip the upcoming season of The Voice, giving Shakira yet another season to fill her spot. Usher will once again fill in for Cee Lo Green. Both Christina and Cee Lo will return for the following season. On this past season of The Voice, Christina showed off both her fit form and her singing voice in a duet with Lady Gaga.

Do you prefer Christina Aguilera with or without her makeup? One look at her newly defined body and a good listen to those healthy vocal cords and no one will care whether she’s wearing makeup or not!

  • Christina Aguilera & Lady Gaga Join for ‘The Voice’

Fans of The Voice were in for a treat during Tuesday’s Season 5 finale when Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga performed together.

During the show, Lady Gaga took a moment to share her excitement about the opportunity to collaborate with Aguilera. “I was really excited because The Voice called and wanted me to perform on the finale, and I obviously can’t refuse such an amazing show. And I said, ‘I’ll do it, but I want to know if Christina wants to do it with me,’” Lady Gaga said.

The desire was mutual as Christina wasted no time in speaking about her admiration for the Born This Way singer. “This is the first time we’ve ever met, and I have to say, when I heard she wanted to collaborate, I said, of course, Lady Gaga. I’ve been waiting to meet her. She’s such an innovative artist and a risk taker, and as a fellow female, I have so much respect for that. And I just have to say, guys, she’s, like, the most down-to-earth, real person that I’ve met in this business. And female to female in this industry, it’s really hard to find that kind of a person. So I love you, girl, and you deserve everything you’ve earned,” Aguilera said.

The mutual respect did not come as a surprise to fans of the show. Lady Gaga had already taken to Twitter in order to vocalize her support for Team Christina’s Jacquie Lee as well as encourage her supporters to also vote for Christina’s talented protégé.

  • Christina Aguilera Celebrates Her 33 Birthday

On Tuesday evening, after the season finale of “The Voice,” Christina Aguilera celebrated her 33rd birthday (one day early) with boyfriend Matthew Rutler.

The two were seen leaving Off Vine, a popular American cuisine restaurant in Hollywood. According to E Online, the American singer and songwriter wore a long black skirt, matching heels, and sexy silver top. Rutler donned a blue sweater with leather jacket, jeans, and black and red sneakers.

Though Christina first denied dating the production assistant, who worked on her movie, “Burlesque,” they are now officially a couple.

In October 2010, Christina filed for divorce from her husband, music executive Jordan Bratman. they have a son, Max, who was born in 2008.

Before the intimate birthday celebration, Christina performed her first duet with Lady Gaga during “The Voice” finale.

Gaga seemed to be a fan of finale contender Jacquie Lee before the show.

Though Lee was runner-up, Tessanne Chinn was crowned the winner of the reality singing competition last night.

Since turning 32 last December, Christina has landed two Top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100.

  • Christina Aguilera Perfoms With Lady Gaga

There has long been talk of an ongoing feud between Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga. However, whatever beef the two had for each other, if any, is apparently long gone after their performance on The Voice last night.

For the very first time on Tuesday, December 17, the two powerhouse singers took to the stage together to perform Gaga’s hit Do What U Want. When the producers of The Voice called Gaga and asked her to perform during the season five finale, Gaga said she couldn’t turn the opportunity down, but wanted Aguilera to join her on stage. “I was really excited because The Voice called and wanted me to perform on the finale and I obviously can’t refuse,” said Gaga, 27. “It’s such an amazing show and I said, ‘I’ll do it, but I want to know if Christina will do it with me.”

When the producers confronted Aguilera about the possible collaboration, Aguilera said she instantly said yes, and that she had been dying to meet her. “This is the first time we’ve ever met and I have to say, when I heard she wanted to collaborate I said, ‘Of course! Lady Gaga!’ I’ve been waiting to meet her. She’s such an innovative artist and a risk taker and as a fellow female, I have so much respect for that,” Aguilera said. “She’s the most down to earth real person that I’ve ever met in this business. Female to female in this industry, it’s really hard to find that kind of a person. I love you girl, and you deserve everything that you’ve earned.”

During an interview in September, Gaga shared her mutual feelings for Aguilera. “I’m a very big fan of Christina Aguilera,” Gaga said during an interview on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live. “From the very beginning of when my career started, there was all this controversy about the two of us. I always felt that it was very unfair. Christina is an incredible vocalist and an incredible artist,” she continued.

“From me to her, I’m so sorry for anything that anyone ever said to her because of my existence. And I hope that she never felt any way about it, because when I was 15, I was singing ‘I Turn to You’ at the top of my lungs trying to hit all her notes. So she was an inspiration to me to have a wider vocal range, and I just think it’s all total nonsense the way that they do that.”

  • Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga Sing on ‘The Voice’

Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga sang together for the first time ever on The Voice finale Tuesday night, and in addition to treating fans to a dazzling performance, likely helped to squelch rumors about a feud between the two.

“I was really excited because The Voice called and wanted me to perform on the finale and I obviously can’t refuse,” Lady Gaga said following the show. “It’s such an amazing show and I said, ‘I’ll do it, but I want to know if Christina will do it with me.”

The two ladies wore shiny, sparkling outfits as they sang Lady Gaga’s ArtPop track, Do What U Want.

Christina Aguilera was thrilled with Lady Gaga’s suggestion they collaborate.

“This is the first time we’ve ever met and I have to say, when I heard she wanted to collaborate I said, ‘Of course! Lady Gaga!’ I’ve been waiting to meet her. She’s such an innovative artist and a risk taker and as a fellow female, I have so much respect for that,” she said. “She’s the most down to earth real person that I’ve ever met in this business. Female to female in this industry, it’s really hard to find that kind of a person.”

She then said to Lady Gaga, “I love you girl, and you deserve everything that you’ve earned.”

Lady Gaga spent some time getting to know a little something about Christina Aguilera’s The Voice contestant Jacquie Lee prior to the show. Lee, who came in as runner-up to winner Tessanne Chin, is a vocal powerhouse at just 16 years old.

She tweeted about the young singer prior to the show’s finale.

    Aguilera immediately responded.

It certainly looks like everything is beyond cool between Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga, and after hearing them perform together on The Voice Tuesday night, fans must be hoping for the opportunity of a redo. Their styles and strong voices definitely made them a dynamic duo on the stage–and their outfits and bleached blonde hair were simply the icing on the cake

  • Tessanne Chin Wins Season 5 Of The Voice

Tessanne Chin Wins Season 5 Of The Voice

Jamaican back up singer Tessanne Chin has won the most prestigious singing title in the United States. After a long journey, Tessanne was crowned the season five winner of The Voice.

Tessanne admitted that she was almost at the point of giving up on her singing career before she landed a spot on the NBC singing competition. “I was literally at the end of a road, you know, and coming to a place in my life where I was like, am I going to keep doing this and feeling like I’m not getting anywhere? Or am I going to give this another shot? And thank God, thank God I was able to give it another shot,” she said.

Tessanne credits her win to her family and friends back home in Jamaica, along with her new family and friends here in the U.S. And let us not forget, her coach and mentor Adam Levine. “It’s just been an amazing journey and I could not do this without the little island of Jamaica,” Chin said before her final performance. “But I most importantly could not do it without the amazing new family and supporters I have here in the U.S. Thank you for accepting me and thank you for bringing me this far.”

Luckily for Tessanne, Levine decided to change his approach this season, and give his team as much support and guidance as possible. “In the seasons past where I have kind of fallen short in my opinion, if I’m looking at it analytically, it’s by not being able to give enough because I’ve been super busy,” Levine explained. “So I tried to kind of thin things out so I could devote most of my time to just get to know these guys and instill them with the confidence that they needed to win.”

While Tessanne may still be letting the news sink in, I don’t think anyone had any doubts that she would be this season’s winner, including her coach Adam. “You are just capable of anything and it blows me away,” Adam said after Tessanne belted out Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing. “I know in my mind and heart you are the winner of this show.”

When host Carson Daly revealed Tessanne as the winner, she burst into tears and then took the stage for one last performance. Not only did Chin win a recording contract, she will also be collaborating with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic. When asked how it felt to be the new winner, Tessanne replied: “It is out of body. I feel like, is this really happening, you know? This can’t be real. Like unbelievable. Unbelievable.”

The sixth season of The Voice will premiere on February 24, 2014, with Shakira and Usher returning as coaches.

  • The Voice Season 5 Crowns A Winner

The Voice Season 5 Crowns A Winner

And we have a winner! Tessanne Chin, from team Adam, has been crowned the winner of the fifth season of The Voice.

After belting out her rendition of Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing, it was no shock that Chin would be this season’s winner. Her coach Adam Levine even made the comment, after her performance on Monday night, that he knew in his mind and heart that she would be the winner. Apparently Levine’s intuition is right!

“It’s sacred ground. We lost Whitney too early. So many people stay away from her because it’s incredible, one of the best vocals ever recorded … impossible to replicate,” Levine said after Chin’s final performance. “You are just capable of anything and it blows me away. I know in my mind and heart you are the winner of this show.”

Before the finale, Chin talked about her journey on the show, and how she couldn’t have done it without the support of her friends and family in Jamaica and her new friends and family in the United States. “It’s just been an amazing journey and I could not do this without the little island of Jamaica,” Chin said. “But I most importantly could not do it without the amazing new family and supporters I have here in the U.S. Thank you for accepting me and thank you for bringing me this far.”

Will Champlin, also from team Adam, was announced as the third runner up, and then it all came down to Jacquie Lee, from team Christina, and Chin. It was an emotional moment as the two final girls stood on the stage anxiously waiting for the announcement that would change one of their lives forever. When host Carson Daly revealed the winner, Chin burst into tears and then took the stage for one last performance. Not only did Chin win a recording contract, she will also be collaborating with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic.

Shakira and Usher will return for the sixth season of The Voice that premieres on February 24, 2014.

  • The Voice: Will Adam Levine Win?

The Voice: Will Adam Levine Win?

The Voice has been dominated by Adam Levine’s team for the past two weeks. This week saw the Maroon 5 front man reign supreme for the third week in a row, when all three of his team members were moved along to next week’s competition. Is it possible that Blake Shelton won’t win this season of The Voice?

On Tuesday night, Tessanne Chin, Will Champlin and James Wolpert–all from Team Adam–were saved and moved on to next week’s competition. Jacquie Lee from Team Christina and Cole Vosbury from Team Blake were saved as well. That left Cee Lo Green’s only remaining contestant, Caroline Pennell, in the bottom three, along with Team Christina’s Matthew Schuler and Team Blake’s Ray Boudreaux. After yet another questionable Twitter save, Matthew Schuler was spared, and Caroline and Ray were sent home.

This means Cee Lo Green is out of the game. He knew that might be coming, and mentioned before Caroline Pennell was sent home that he was used to being the underdog.

“Don’t worry about me because I’m always affectionately the underdog,” he told Carson Daly. “It’s all good with me.”

Blake Shelton has one contestant left in the competition and Christina Aguilera has two. It’s uncertain if Adam Levine is happier about the possibility of winning or the possibility of Blake Shelton losing. Either way, Levine is looking pretty happy these days, as it’s the best season he’s had yet on The Voice.

Twitter followers seem sure that Team Adam will win this season of The Voice.

How might Blake Shelton fare if he doesn’t win his fourth season of The Voice? He will certainly never hear the end of it if he loses to Adam Levine, and the chances of that happening are looking better all the time.

  • “The Voice” Reveals Top 12 Contestants

“The Voice” Reveals Top 12 Contestants

We are down to the final 12 contestants on this season of “The Voice”. On Monday and Tuesday night, each contestant gave it their all during the live rounds, leaving the viewers to vote for the contestants they wanted to stay. On last night’s show, the top 12 were announced, shocking many of the viewers as their favorites were sent home.

The viewers voted for their top two on each team, and then each coach had to pick one, of the remaining three, to stay on their team. It was not an easy decision for any of the coaches. Before the results were announced, each team performed together, in a last ditch effort to impress their coaches.

First to hear their results were Team Blake. His team performed the song “Free Ride”. Then it was time for Blake to find out who would be his final team members. Viewers voted to keep Austin Jenckes and Cole Vosbury. Blake had to choose one to stay from the three remaining, Nic Hawk, Shelbie Z, and Ray Bourdreaux. “There’s no science to this,” Shelton explained. “The only thing I can really do is make a call based on my gut and the person I think I can affect change with the most.” After contemplating his decision, he went with Bourdreaux, sending Nik and Shelbie home.

    http://youtu.be/RB2gNsHPkA8

Team Cee Lo took the stage next, performing “Give a Little Bit”. Caroline Pennell and Jonny Gray were saved by the viewers, leaving Kat Robichaud, Amber Nicole, and Tamara Chaunice awaiting their futures. “I love you all in your own equally incomparable way,” he told the girls. “This is just one milestone achievement. Let this be the beginning of a wonderful journey to wherever your music and your heart takes you.” In the end, he decided to go with the fierce performer, Robichaud.

Next in line was Team Christina who performed “Love Somebody”, before finding out which of their team members would be leaving the show. Jacquie Lee and Matthew Schuler breathed a sigh of relief when they found out the viewers had saved them. Josh Logan, Stephanie Ann Johnson, and Olivia Henken stood on the stage, their fates in Christina’s hands, awaiting her decision. After a long explanation and promising to stay in touch with each of them, she chose to keep Logan, sending Johnson and Henken packing. “I have to go where my heart is invested right now, and where I’m interested to go,” she said.

Finally, it was time to for Team Adam, who performed “Safe and Sound”. James Wolpert and Tessanne Chin, were saved by the viewers, leaving a tough decision for Adam, as he had to decide between Will Champlin, Preston Pohl, and Grey. “No matter how you dice this, this is horrible,” he said. “This is going to be maybe surprising, I don’t know. Moving forward I have to choose the person I think I have the most potential with, and that person is Will.”

  • Kaley Cuoco’s Sister on “The Voice”

Kaley Cuoco has been in the news this past week with the big announcement that she is engaged to Ryan Sweeting. But now it is her sister’s time to shine. Briana Cuoco, Kaley’s sister and personal assistant, won over Christina Aguilera last night during her blind audition on “The Voice”.

Briana sang Lady Gaga’s, “You and I,” and really impressed the judges. Aguilera was the first judge to turn her chair, followed by Cee Lo Green. “You held those notes out really strong. You made me really happy,” Aguilera said. When Briana picked Aguilera as her coach she screamed, “Girl power!”

Kaley was ecstatic, when she saw that Aguilera had turned her chair. You could see Kaley bouncing up in down backstage and cheering her sister on. She said that no one was more deserving of this than Briana. “I’ve been waiting for something like this for so long for her. She’s deserved this her whole life and she’s always put herself on the back burner for everyone else. And this is her time now,” she said. “There’s no one I love more in the world. My sister and I are closer than close… I want this for her probably more than she maybe wants it. I’m just really, really excited!”

In true big sister fashion, Kaley immediately stomped the rumors, via Twitter, that “The Voice” was rigged and that was the only reason why Briana made it.

Aguilera also took to Twitter, after the performance, saying that she is happy to have Briana on Team Xtina.

You can watch Briana’s full performance below.

  • Christina Aguilera Says She Feels Sexier Than Ever

Christina Aguilera still feels as sexy as she has ever been at the age of 32. She has been viewed as one of the most beautiful celebrities since she rose to fame in 1999 with her debut self-titled album. Since appearing in the Mickey Mouse Club as a child star, she has earned great success as a singer-songwriter, record producer, and actress. Despite saying that she does not work out every day, Aguilera has been steadily losing weight and it certainly shows.

Aguilera’s most recent album “Lotus,” was released on November 13, 2012. Recently, Aguilera has appeared as a coach on NBC’s The Voice. She recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to talk about the upcoming season and also used the time to display her recent weight loss that she is very proud of. ABC News mentions that the singer revealed her fit physique in a low-cut black number, when she admitted to audiences everywhere that she feels better than ever.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XN4y9GvaknQ

Before appearing on Leno, she debuted her new slimmed-down physique during her time on Season 4 of The Voice in March and at a video shoot for Maxim Magazine in May. She was in control at the shoot, embracing the woman that she has become and not trying too hard to look good for anyone, having it come easy for her.

She is very proud of her new body, displaying herself in a very sexy pose on the cover of Maxim.

Despite dating her boyfriend Matt Rutler since 2010, she also gave tips on what she looks for in a partner, saying “I think effortless sexy is key. Trying to be too macho and all that stuff, that just doesn’t work for me.” Well, I guess the old “be yourself” trick really works on Christina Aguilera, since she does not want someone who tries really hard to impress her. She also mentioned that trying too hard is the biggest turn off for her. She has said that getting older has only made her feel more confident about her body, and what she wants from a man. It would be nice if all women were able to feel that way, right?

In addition to all of the talk about being sexy that occurred on Leno’s show, Aguilera also mentioned that there is something that takes presedence over all of that and that is her song, reports People Magazine. Her son Max is five years old and she said, “He’s the joy of my life.”

  • Adam Levine Joins “Voice” Judges For Teary Tribute

Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo, and Blake Shelton took to the stage at the beginning of their top 3 show to pay tribute to the young victims of the Newtown shootings on Monday night, leaving the audience teary-eyed as they joined the remaining contestants in a haunting rendition of “Hallelujah” while holding up namecards for each victim.

The tribute, which took the place of the show’s usual loud, bright, over-the-top opening routine, has been widely regarded as the most touching version of the song that’s come about in a long time and was a much-needed nod to the families and victims of the Sandy Hook tragedy. “Saturday Night Live” also replaced their opening bit with a tribute, adding a children’s choir to the stage rather than a comedy sketch.

  • Aguilera On Fallon: The Roots, Office Supplies Remix

Christina Aguilera has found a hit in her song “Your Body”, the video for which has seen hundreds of thousands of hits on YouTube already. But a new remix of the tune might just trump it, which is quite a feat considering it was done with only office supplies and a cell phone as accompaniment.

When the songstress appeared on “Late Night” with Fallon, the duo teamed up with house band The Roots to create a new version of the song that gets Jimmy out of his seat to pop his hips and keeps Aguilera giggling throughout.

  • Christina Aguilera: Pink Hair, Skintight Dress A “Flop”

Christina Aguilera hasn’t been shy lately about flaunting and talking about her newly curvy body, insisting that when she first came on the scene years ago she was pressured to be super-thin, and that the way she looks now is how she’s meant to be.

“I told them…’You are working with a fat girl. Know it now and get over it.’ They need a reminder sometimes that I don’t belong to them. It’s my body,” she said about a conversation with record execs.

Lately, she’s been wearing body-hugging, barely-there dresses and exposing her ample cleavage, which is encouraged in most camps; however, some of her outfits are landing her on the “Worst Dressed” list, and the latest is no exception.

Described as a “fashion flop”, Aguilera donned a skintight purple minidress at the 40th Annual American Music Award Nominations last week and left off the bra, which earned her some criticism. Her two-toned hair–which was likened to a My Little Pony mane–also did little to impress.

  • Britney Spears: Is Christina Aguilera Making Her Nervous?

Britney Spears is set to judge the talent show “The X Factor” this fall, but if her behavior of late is any indication, she seems to be a nervous wreck. Could it be because she’ll be going up against her old rival Christina Aguilera?

Spears has made some headway in the past couple of years in her fight towards a comeback; after a much-maligned MTV performance following her breakdown–which had critics calling her fat and drugged–she managed to get in shape and put out a new album that garnered good reviews. However, now that she’s in the spotlight again, she seems to be a bundle of nerves. Those on the set of a shoot for her new perfume–Elizabeth Arden Fantasy Twist–say she was constantly smoking in between takes and appeared “out of it” and “robotic”.

As the date draws nearer for Britney to sit at the judge’s table on “The X Factor”, it’s possible she’s getting antsy about being in such a high-profile gig, and it probably isn’t helping that her old rival, Christina Aguilera, is judging on a similar show opposite her. Aguilera has been on “The Voice” for a while now, so she’s an old pro; it could be that Britney feels like she jumped into a job she’s not entirely ready for.

Aguilera had some kind words for her old Mickey Mouse Club buddy, however:

“I came up with Britney, we were very close,” Aguilera said. “Our paths have always crossed. They’ll continue to cross. I welcome her to this family of fun and entertainment and finding new talent. Britney’s a pro. She’s going to give great advice.”

The new season of “The X Factor” starts September 12th on Fox.

  • Christina Aguilera Disapproves of Tony Lucca’s 99 Problems Cover

Christina Aguilera is being mean to someone? Will wonders ever cease? Apparently the singer’s winning personality has spilled over onto “The Voice”, a singing competition that’s currently airing on NBC. Lots of people are apparently watching the program each and every week, indicating that the show must have something worthwhile to offer its audience. Fans of drama and uncomfortable bickering are sure to be utterly enthralled with the shenanigans on-display.

From I’ve gathered, Aguilera and contestant Tony Lucca worked together during their time spent on “The Mickey Mouse Club”, though the popular singer claims she didn’t immediately recognize him. No harm there, really. However, the problems didn’t end there. Aguilera has reported been pretty harsh on her former coworker, going as far as to claim that his performances are “one dimensional”. However, during Monday night’s performance, things got a little heated.

After Lucca performed Jay-Z’s “99 Problems”, Aguilera claimed that the song was “derogatory towards women” despite the fact that Lucca skipped over the word “bitch”. To make matters worse, Aguilera brought the singer’s wife and daughter into the argument, adding that “the lyrical connotation was a little derogatory towards women, but all in all I thought it was fun.” Because, you know, if you find something derogatory, it’s fun all the same.

“How convenient that she waits the whole season to talk about all things classy,” Lucca told US Weekly. “It’s just so transparent at this point and pathetic.” I hope he didn’t notice that Christina spent most of his performance texting on her phone during his performance. I guess Will.I.Am. isn’t alone in his cellular addictions. Good to know, isn’t it?

So who’s side are you on? Let us know in the comments section. Below you’ll find a few tasty Tweets on the subject. They’re amusing, as always.

  • Aguilera and Bieber Get Awkward on The Voice, Twitter Uproar Ensues

Does anyone care that Christina Aguilera looked a tad irritated when Justin Bieber approached her for a little hug and kiss on last night’s episode of “The Voice”? Apparently a lot of people do. The Twitterverse was abuzz with activity after Aguilera’s uncomfortable moment with the teenage heartthrob on the popular NBC talent show. Is Aguilera not a fan of the Bieb, or are there other factors at work?

Bieber was a guest on last night’s episode of “The Voice”, and, like most visitors to the program, took a moment to say goodbye the judges after performing. When he reached Aguilera, however, he ignored her extended hand and moved in for the aforementioned display of affection. Her reaction was, to the say the very least, incredibly lukewarm, not to mention more than a little awkward. The money shot is at 3:25 in the video below.

According to some, the situation has been blown entirely out of proportion.

After the show, Aguilera told website Hollywood Life that “he’s definitely popular with the ladies and he came on the show tonight and it was a fun burst of energy. He is really a charismatic guy and cute.” How diplomatic.

Be that as it may, none of this has stopped people with a Twitter account and an opinion from hopping onto the social networking site to express themselves. Imagine that!
