  • Christina Aguilera Says Son Is Like Grandma To Baby

Christina Aguilera just absolutely loves having a baby around the house again.

The 34-year-old told Extra that her new daughter, Summer Rain, is an amazing baby.

Since Christina Aguilera‘s daughter was born in August, she has been super easy.

“I have a chill baby, she’s just so calm and so easy to make laugh and smile, she’s just a breeze, thank God!”

Thank God, indeed! There nothing better than a chill baby.

Well, unless that baby is also adorable.

Which, according to Christina Aguilera, she is.

Watch out…another one's getting ready to conquer the world! #driven #diva2

She is proud of her son, 7-year-old Max, as well.

Apparently he helps Christina Aguilera out a lot with the baby.

“He’s just so endearing and sweet to her,” she says.

She added, “He’s the big helper and the big teacher so he’s awesome. He’s just so loving and sweet. I’m like, ‘How old are you?’ He’s like a grandma to her, he’s just like, ‘I’ll teach you everything.’”

Christina Aguilera doesn’t let love get in the way of proper hygiene, though.

Max goes to school, and we all know what that means. Serious germs and seemingly constant illness.

“I’m like, ‘Wash your hands before you touch the baby’ … you don’t want the germs,” Christina Aguilera admits.

This new baby business isn’t putting a damper on her successful career, though.

Christina Aguilera didn’t go into detail, but says there is new music coming and it will have a lot to do with her current life situation.

  • Christina Aguilera Talks New Baby, Son Max, Making Music With Pharrell Williams

Christina Aguilera was in mommy mode when she chatted recently with People magazine. She gushed about new baby girl Summer Rain–who is five months old–and son Max, who is seven. She shared some of those intimate details that only a mom completely enthralled with the concept of new life can appreciate.

“I have a chill baby, she’s just so calm and so easy to make laugh and smile, she’s just a breeze, thank God!” she said of her new baby. “She’s just so beautiful, these big blue eyes, she’s just so gorg … [I’m] very happy and feel very blessed having Summer Rain in my life.”

Christina Aguilera and fiance Matt Rutler are parents to the new baby. Christina shares son Max with ex-husband Jordan Bratman.

It’s the relationship between Max and Summer Rain that has Aguilera the most intrigued right now.

“He’s just so endearing and sweet to her,” she says.

She also admits she insists upon some pretty stringent health rules when it comes to allow Max to handle his baby sister.

“I’m like, ‘Wash your hands before you touch the baby’ … you don’t want the germs,” she explains. “He’s in school … there’s a little age gap, but it’s perfect though because then they don’t fight over toys.”

“He’s the big helper and the big teacher so he’s awesome. He’s just so loving and sweet,” she adds. “I’m like, ‘How old are you?’ He’s like a grandma to her, he’s just like, ‘I’ll teach you everything.’”

Christina Aguilera is a busy woman at the moment. Preparing to return as a coach on The Voice in February, alongside Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell Williams, she has also been busy in the recording studio. She and Pharrell Williams ‘connected,’ as she says, while she was pregnant, and the result will no doubt be magical.

“It’s genuine and it’s heartfelt and I’m very excited to pour my heart out into this record fully,” she says of her upcoming new album. “I’ve been gathering and writing and coming up with these amazing ideas for different parts of how I was feeling the past year, so I’m really excited to vocalize all of it and make it all come together.”

It seems motherhood behooves Christina Aguilera. Might it resonate on her new album? Most any kind of collaboration with Pharrell Williams results in phenomenal music. Combine that with the powerhouse vocals of Christina Aguilera, and something Grammy-worthy could be in the works.

Christina Aguilera returns to season eight of The Voice on February 23rd.

  • Christina Aguilera Wows New Orleans Jazz Fest While Pregnant

Christina Aguilera made a splash at the 2014 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. This is the first time the singer has appeared at the festival, wowing the crowd with favorites Lady Marmalade,” “Dirrty,” ”Candyman,” ”Ain’t No Other Man,” ”Beautiful,” ”What a Girl Wants,” and “Fighter.”

Spectators couldn’t get enough of the pop diva. “I’ve seen her at the Super Bowl and in her movies, like ‘Burlesque,’ and she’s just an amazing performer.” Jazz Festival attendee Morgan Griffith told the Associated Press, “She doesn’t just sing. It’s everything on cue: the dancers, the setup … just everything.”

But one could say another star of the show was Aguilera’s unborn daughter, since the singer makes no attempts to hide her pregnancy on stage. “This baby girl has already hit the stage in Malaysia,” she said in an email, “It’s mama’s job. We roll with it. She’ll be listening to the concert from inside me. … That’s pretty special.”

In March, Aguilera announced she was pregnant with her second child. She and her fiance, Matthew Rutler, said they didn’t plan the pregnancy. Although it hasn’t stopped Aguilera from performing, she announced she would not be appearing in the seventh season of the TV show The Voice.

The Pregnancy has also had its other drawbacks for the pop star. A source told Disney Dreaming that Aguilera wasn’t happy to the way pregnancy was affecting her looks:

Christina worked really hard to get that body. For her to be pregnant so soon after getting in such great shape is throwing her for a loop. She’s definitely thinking about the weight gain after everything she did to get so thin. She wants to stay in shape now and won’t overindulge. Christina’s very vain. She’ll want to look perfect on her wedding day!

Fans would say that the pregnancy hasn’t deterred her performance. Already, YouTube has seen them upload videos of the performance, where you can make your own judgment:

  • Gwen Stefani to Replace Aguilera on ‘The Voice’

According to Us Weekly, Gwen Stefani will have her own big red chair on NBC’s The Voice for the seventh season, replacing pregnant Christina Aguilera.

No worries Christina fans – this is only a one-off gig. She’s expected to be back after she has her little one and has already signed on for Season Eight.

According to TMZ, producers began searching for Aguilera’s replacement after the Your Body singer announced her pregnancy back in February.

Apparently the network wanted Aguilera to stay on during her pregnancy, but the Fighter singer is reported to be “struggling” and decided to take a break from this rotation in the coach’s seat.

Pharrell Williams is slated to take over the big red chair for Cee Lo Green, and it looks like the bromance between coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will continue as they are expected to return.

Stefani and Williams are used to working together so it’s not much of a stretch for them.

Last week, Stefani appeared onstage during Pharrell‘s set at Coachella to sing her hit Hollaback Girl, which they co-wrote nearly 10 years ago. Stefani was also featured on Pharrell’s 2005 first solo single, Can I Have It Like That.

The Voice is just about to begin live rounds for Season 6 and airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC.

  • Christina Aguilera Is Having A Baby Girl

We’ve known since February that 33-year-old pop diva Christina Aguilera was expecting a second child. However, JustJared.com has officially confirmed that baby number two with fiance Matthew Rutler will be a little girl.

Aguilera broke the news during a concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last night. The singer has a 6-year-old son named Max with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman.

This will be Rutler’s first child. The couple met on the set of the film Burlesque in 2010 while Aguilera was going through her divorce. Rutler was serving as a production assistant on the crew at the time.

Rutler was planning a formal marriage proposal to the singer before she got pregnant. He was even in the process of designing an engagement ring. Although the pregnancy wasn’t planned, an insider says that Aguilera was excited about the news and loves being a mother.

The couple formally announced their plans to marry on Twitter this past Valentine’s Day. The proposal was sunset lit in a gazebo filled with candles and roses.

Aguilera is currently taking off the current season (the sixth) of the hit reality singing competition The Voice. However, between planning a wedding and expecting a baby, it sounds like she will have plenty to keep her busy.

The Voice, hosted by Carson Daly, currently has Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira and Usher performing the coaching duties.

  • Christina Aguilera Expecting a Baby Girl

It’s a girl for expectant singer Christina Aguilera and fiancé Matthew Rutler.

The 33-year-old announced the gender of her baby while performing Friday at an event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

“Ain’t no other fans… Thank you Malaysia for all the love & support! XoXtina” Xtina tweeted the day after the concert.

News of the singer’s pregnancy — her second — was announced in February. She has a 6-year-old son, Max, with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman.

Rutler proposed to Aguilera on Valentine’s Day, but a wedding date has yet to be set.

The Voice judge met the film assistant on the set of Burlesque in 2010, and they have been dating ever since.

Aguilera says she plans on taking a little more time away from her gig as a coach on The Voice to spend time with her family.

Christina‘s Twitter fans have taken to the social media site to offer their congratulations.

    Congratulations to the expectant couple.
