Justin Bieber’s flirty ways made for a very uncomfortable interview – maybe the worst ever, according to Chelsea Handler.
When asked who the worst celebrity she ever interviewed, Handler didn’t hesitate to call out Bieber.
“Justin Bieber maybe, because he was trying to flirt with me,” Handler told Variety at the Sundance Film Festival. “It was so uncomfortable. Like that’s his shtick, he would come on and flirt with you and you just feel like a child molester … I was not sexually attracted to a child. Thank you for clearing that up.”
Handler interviewed Bieber multiple times on her E! talk show Chelsea Lately.

Handler’s new Netflix show, Chelsea Does, is currently streaming on Netflix.
Chelsea Handler gave the hallucinogenic drink Ayahuasca a try for her upcoming Netflix docuseries Chelsea Does.
Handler said she tried the controversial beverage as an educational demonstration for her docuseries which will premiere Saturday on Netflix.
“It’s supposed to be like this spiritually awakening drug, transformative, transcendent in certain ways,” she told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show earlier this week. “I want to show people what happens when you get f–ked up.”
Ayahuasca is a controversial beverage that is considered a spiritual medicine among the indigenous people of Peru.
In a clip from the series, Handler, 40, travels to Peru to try the drink, which is said to give users an out-of-body experience. After sipping meekly on the tea, she promptly throws up into a bucket on-camera.
“We went down to Peru and we did it,” she told Fallon. “You vomit out of your mouth and out of … And Netflix paid for it, thank you guys.”
Chandler told Ellen DeGeneres on Thursday that she did experience visions during her experiment.
“I had all these beautiful imageries of my childhood and me and my sister laughing on a kayak, and all these beautiful things with me and my sister,” she said. “So [my experience] was very much about opening my mind to loving my sister, and not being so hard on her.”
Heather McDonald heard a few choice words from Chelsea Handler after she said she “100 percent lived in fear” during her years working on Handler’s late-night E! talk show Chelsea Lately.
During an appearance on the Allegedly podcast Tuesday, McDonald, 45, said that even though Handler is a “good person,” she doesn’t approve of “how she treats relationships in her life.”
“I lived in fear, 100 percent lived in fear,” she said. “I enjoyed my time there, I was happy, but I mean something would happen and my heart would be beating and I would be like, ‘Is this it?’ – you know? And then somehow I just managed to keep surviving.”
Handler fired back during an interview with Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show Tuesday, saying she cut McDonald out of her life years ago when she realized McDonald was selling stories about her to a celebrity gossip magazine in exchange for her photograph appearing in print.
“I could have fired her. I did not fire her. She had a job for four more years. I never hung out with her personally again. So I hope she was living in fear,” said Handler. “It’s not an internment camp. If you’re living in that much fear, go get another job.”
Handler said she continued to employ McDonald even after the alleged betrayal came to light. She noted that McDonald was good at her job as a writer on the show. However, from the moment she learned what McDonald was reportedly up to, she stopped having a personal relationship with the comedian.
“I just thought it was a betrayal … I wasn’t paranoid, I just withdrew from that whole social scene – I withdrew from her,” Chelsea Handler said. “I wouldn’t hang out with her, I wouldn’t be alone with her. You know, she’s somebody who would love to hear about Jennifer Aniston’s house on the weekend. I could never, ever share my personal life with her again.”

Even though Jennifer Aniston has been listed in connection with the death of Carmel Musgrove–a woman who attended the getaway with friends of Aniston and Theroux–reports that their honeymoon was ruined are greatly exaggerated.
Casey Musgrove was the assistant to Lethal Weapon and Matrix films producer Joel Silver. Her nude body was found along the shore on August 20th. Reports say she died of a combination of drowning and “the effects of drugs and alcohol in her system.”
Stephen Huvane is Jennifer Aniston’s publicist. He issued a statement that said Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux had returned home to L.A. from their honeymoon when this tragedy occurred.
“Her honeymoon was well over, and she was already back in Los Angeles when this horrible tragedy occurred,” he said.
While Jennifer Aniston was surely saddened by this acquaintance’s death, it in no way ruined the honeymoon she and Justin shared with close friends Courteney Cox, Chelsea Handler, Jason Bateman, Jimmy Kimmel, and more.
Although News Australia recently reported that the honeymoon was destroyed by the tragic death of Carmel Musgrove, that is a gross exaggeration.
In much happier Jennifer Aniston news, the actress has teamed up with Robert De Niro to film his passion project, The Comedian, next year. In The Comedian, De Niro plays an insult comic who falls for Jennifer Aniston’s character at a wedding.
The Comedian will be produced by those who made Jennifer Aniston’s 2014 film, Cake.
Chelsea Handler announced the January release of her upcoming four-part Netflix docu-series called Chelsea Does. The former Chelsea Lately star shared the first short clip advertising the show. It reportedly shows off her “serious side.”
Chelsea Handler will deal with serious subjects in Chelsea Does. She will talk marriage, drugs, racism, and Silicon Valley.
This docu-series marks the second part of the Netflix deal with Chelsea Handler. The first part of the deal involved the airing of her hour-long comedy show on October 10th, that was part of her “Uganda Be Kidding Me” tour. The show was taped in June.
Chelsea Handler fans are no doubt thrilled that the comic will find her way back into their living rooms after the New Year. A specific date for the four-part series has not yet been announced.
Chelsea Handler is continuing her productive partnership with Netflix with a new four-part documentary series called Chelsea Does.
And Netflix has announced that it will become available in January.

From the promo, it looks like the four topics Chelsea will tackle will be marriage, racism, silicon valley, and drugs. Handler is also doing a talk show for Netflix, but its premiere date has yet-to-be set.

Chelsea Handler slams her critics with a photo of her in a bikini on Instagram. The photo which was posted on Sunday, August 2, was apparently in response to an ex-boyfriend who once called her “fat”.
The 40-year-old star’s photo showed her toned body while striking a pose inside a changing room. She was proudly wearing a pink bikini, low-cut printed top and a visor. She was visibly glowing and fit in her get-up.

“You know, I had a boyfriend who told me my boobs were too big and that I was fat,” the caption read. “And then, I looked in the mirror.” This was not the first time Handler posted sexy photos of her. She even posed naked with Nick Offerman for the cover of Esquire magazine in April.

Even with a great body like hers, Handler admitted that she has “body dysmorphia” in an interview last year.
“I mean, people who aren’t fat think they’re fat — myself included,” Chelsea said. “I have body dysmorphia… we all have it.”
She believed it necessary not to call fat people “fat” because not only is this rude, but it also makes women view themselves in a negative light. Handler is also well-aware that this trend of body-shaming is never going to stop.
Chelsea Handler did not drop the name of his former boyfriend but she had been linked to well-known men like NBC executive Ted Harbert and American rapper 50 Cent.
Chelsea Handler may not be doing Chelsea Lately anymore, but after an ugly end to the show last summer, she says she is so ready to move on.
Known for her blunt and truthful opinions on current events and issues, Chelsea Handler just had to have a talk show somewhere.

That is no lie. Chelsea Handler has never been afraid to tell it like she sees it. Or show her boobs. Or her naked bum.

In response to a comment made by Michael Eisner that it is “impossible to find” a woman that is both pretty and funny, she didn’t mince words.
Chelsea Handler said of Eisner’s comment, “It’s just a really stupid thing to say. What, as soon as your pretty, your funny genes get taken away? It’s just such a stupid notion.”

Rachel Dolezal riveted the country earlier this year when she fumbled for an answer during an interview about whether or not her father is an African-American, but at least one celebrity thought the entire story was “ridiculous”.
Chelsea Handler, former host of Chelsea Lately, said at the Television Critics Association on Tuesday that she had fun watching the story play out, no matter how silly she thought the coverage of it was.
“Rachel Dolezal from the NAACP was a very joyful story for me to watch. I thought that was beyond ridiculous and the commentary on it was beyond ridiculous,” Handler said.
Dolezal–who was born to white parents–says she does not identify as white and has been passionate about black culture and rights for years. But many of those around her, including her co-workers, felt deceived by her once the story broke about her racial background, and she stepped down from her position as president of the Spokane chapter of the NAACP. When asked in a recent interview about the timeline on when she started misleading people, Dolezal did not back down.
“I do take exception to that because it’s a little more complex than me identifying as black, or answering a question of, ‘Are you black or white?’ I definitely am not white. Nothing about being white describes who I am,” Dolezal said.
Rachel Dolezal’s story is a long, complicated one that has mystified the media as they try to straighten out her many comments about her family and the harassment she claims to have been a victim of based on her perceived race. Her family continues to deny and dispute much of her story, including tales of childhood abuse. According to an interview she gave to Eastern Washington University, Rachel claimed she was “born in a tepee, that her mother and stepfather had beaten her and her siblings, that “they would punish us by skin complexion,” and that they lived for a time in South Africa”. Her family says none of this is the truth.

Over the years, Chelsea Handler has boldly posted semi-naked photos of herself, seemingly in an attempt to provoke discussion on how women are portrayed in the media.
Instead of allowing others to take the initiative, she seems to take matters into her own hands on how she is perceived.
“I like to be naked because I don’t take my body seriously,” Chelsea Handler told Ellen DeGeneres of her habit of posting semi-nude photos, according to the Daily Mail. “If a man posts a photo of his nipples, it’s ok, but not a woman? Are we in 1825?”

The former talk show host has even posed completely naked. Last month she posed with actor Nick Offerman for Esquire magazine, mimicking John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s album cover art from the 1968 release, Two Virgins.

As if this were the great civil rights issue of our time, Chelsea Handler has taken it on as her personal mission to wear Instagram down one blow at a time.
Chelsea Handler and Instagram came to a battle of words when the company removed a photo that Handler had posted because it violated their Terms of Service. She showed too much skin. In the months that followed, Chelsea Handler came very close to the TOS line, almost daring Instagram to do something. Occasionally she crossed it and her pic would be deleted, such as the one of her skiing topless.
Recently, Instagram issued stricter guidelines about the display of nipples, buttocks, and other bits of skin on its site.

When the pic went up, fans held their collective breath to see if Chelsea Handler would be finally banned from the site. Maybe Instagram feels that some plumber crack from Handler is within its limits of tolerance and not “fully-nude buttocks.” The pic has been up for a few days now. It joins these:

In fact, in a recent interview with Esquire, Chelsea Handler reminisced about being asked by Barbara Walters if she was a lesbian.
Chelsea Handler said of the question, “What’s wrong with her? If I was a lesbian, everyone would know. Why would I hide that?”
Chelsea Handler was also exceedingly upfront when co-interviewee, Nick Offernan, brought up Bill Cosby.
While talking about consent in the bedroom while one is asleep, Offernan said, “Then anything goes. Dealer’s choice. Or if they have been Cosbyed, that’s a different story.”
To which the journalist replied, “Poor Guy.”
That reply opened up a whole new line of conversation for Chelsea Handler, who said, “What do you mean poor guy?!”
She added, “Not poor guy—he tried to Cosby me.”
Chelsea Handler then proceeded to tell her story, which, if not for Handler’s street smarts, could have landed her on the list of dozens of women currently accusing Bill Cosby of drugging and rape.
Chelsea Handler began, “Oh, I was in Atlantic City playing, doing stand-up, and he was doing stand-up in Atlantic City in the same hotel, and at like three o’clock in the afternoon, someone from the hotel came down and said, ‘Oh, you know, Mr. Cosby would really like to meet you up in his hotel suite.’ And I thought, That’s really weird. This was like ten years ago. And I said, ‘That’s really weird. I don’t want to go alone.’ I go, I don’t know him.”
Chelsea Handler continued, “So the three guys I was with—thank God these guys were with me. One was filming and one was like a producer; we were filming something—I brought them up with me to his room and thank God I did, because now I know what would’ve happened if I went up there alone. And I forgot about it when all the stories about Bill Cosby came out. I was like, I didn’t even think of it.”
She added, “Then my friend texted me the other day saying, ‘Do you remember that night we went up to, or that afternoon we went up to Bill Cosby’s and you were so freaked out you made us come with you?’ And I said, Yeah, and he said, ‘Hello! You could’ve been one of his victims if we weren’t there.’ And I went, ‘Oh my gosh …’ Yeah, so yeah, he’s guilty.”

This time the comedian brought up a very serious subject–one that people all around the country have found disturbing for many months now. It was during an interview with Esquire magazine that Handler shared the disconcerting news.

And I said, ‘That’s really weird. I don’t want to go alone.’ I go, ‘I don’t know him.’”

Kathy Griffin announced on Thursday that she was leaving Fashion Police. Following that announcement–which appeared on her Twitter feed–Griffin contacted a few close friends and asked them to show her some Twitter love in light of her resignation. Those friends were all too happy to comply.
“I’m reaching out to you because I think you will understand why I have made this decision and I am asking for your support,” Kathy Griffin wrote via an email.
“Oh, and I am nervous and scared about this … in case you’re wondering,” she added.
Hopefully all this support helps Kathy Griffin feel better about her decision to leave Fashion Police.
So why, exactly, did she do it?
One report claims Giuliana Rancic and her diva behavior had a lot to do with both Kathy Griffin and Kelly Osbourne leaving the show.
Kathy Griffin is multi-talented and will no doubt move on to bigger and better things. It must pain her, however, to have left the show in light of having been named her dear friend Joan Rivers’ replacement.
Chelsea Handler is moving on to bigger and better things. Last fall, she released a stand-up special called Uganda Be Kidding Me and she is now starting work on a new show for Netflix, who recently branched out to original programming following the success of Orange is The New Black and House of Cards. Handler spoke at the Code/Media conference in California on February 18 and she can’t help but gush about her new relationship with Netflix as well as her disappointment about her previous gig as host of Chelsea Lately for seven years.
“The subject matter I was dealing with on E!, you know, it was a fun way to get started and kind of have a great time,” she said about Chelsea Lately which ran until last year. “And then after a while, I just was like, I’m so much smarter than that show was, and I wanted to be doing a show that was smarter than I was.”

While Handler and Netflix are still working out the details of her new show, Handler is clearly excited about the collaboration. “It’s nice to be involved in a show where I do respect their opinions,” she said. “I respect Netflix. So it’s like going out with a guy that you’re proud to be seen with.”
One of the reasons why Handler chose Netflix is because she believes they offer more creative control when it comes to their programming. According to Handler, “Network TV is so limited. There are so many parameters. I don’t want to be plugged into something and do a job someone else did for 10 years. I want to create my own job.”
Handler hopes that her new show will move on from the celebrity gossip of Chelsea Lately to more substantial subject matter including international politics and human interest stories. To quote Handler, “the kind of well-roundedness of 60 minutes but faster, quicker, cooler”.
