  • Melanie Griffith Is Probably Regretting That Tattoo

Melanie Griffith has learned a hard lesson about tattoos: Unless you can guarantee you’ll be with him or her forever, it’s best to leave your lover’s name OFF of your body!

The 56-year-old actress recently parted ways with Antonio Banderas. Griffith was married to the 53-year-old actor for eighteen years. Unfortunately after nearly two decades together, the romance went south.

The couple released a joint statement regarding their amicable split in June:

We have thoughtfully and consensually decided to finalize our almost twenty years marriage in a loving and friendly manner honoring and respecting each other, our family and friends and the beautiful time we have spent together

Although Griffith may not be publicly bitter about the divorce, she seems to be very much over her former flame. The actress has engaged in a series of tattoo removal procedures to be rid of her “Antonio” tattoo.

A recent photo of the actress showed her out and about with a bandage over the tattoo.

It was also apparent that her former beau’s name was getting lighter and lighter.

As of now the name “Antonio” is no longer visible, though it appears that Griffith might keep the rest of the heart-shaped tattoo.

Could Griffith be making the space available for a future love interest? Possibly.

However if the actress is wise, she’ll forget about a new name on her arm to signal a new romance.

Many tattoo-happy individuals will forgo tattooing anyone but “Mom” on them as the decision is actually seen as a kiss of death, almost guaranteeing the relationship will end in a separation. And when you DO break up, it can be especially crappy to see a constant reminder of lost love every time you look in the mirror.

The removal process may have been painful, but no doubt Griffith is better able to enjoy single life without her ex’s name on her arm.

  • Ariana Grande Snaps Neck Tattoo On Instagram

Ariana Grande has always been a great singer with an outgoing personality. Well-known for her debut single “The Way,” as well as her role as Cat Valentine in Nickelodeon’s Victorius and Sam & Cat, Grande has taken her personality to a new level by getting a tattoo on the back of her neck, which can easily be hidden by her amazing long hair, which constantly changes color and style.

Grande, 20, was born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida, and started her professional career with her role in Victorius in 2010; however, when “The Way” was released in early 2013, Grande soared in popularity as the hit peaked to #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in April 2013. This past January, Grande confirmed reports that she is currently working on her second studio album.

This past Friday, Grande posted a picture of her newly inked neck tattoo on her Instagram account. With her hair pulled to the side, the inscription on the back of her neck reads “mille tendresse.” According to Google Translate, the French phrase converted into English translates to “thousand tenderness.”

Grande also posted a picture on Instagram of herself getting the tattoo, as well as giving props to Romeo Lacoste, a well-known celebrity tattoo artist.

In a report from MTV on Grande’s new ink, the article states that the French quote is from the Audrey Hepburn classic Breakfast At Tiffany’s. Grande admitted that she loved the movie and that it was one of her favorites as stated in a Twitter reply from 2010.

  • Heidi Klum Is Erasing Seal From Her Body

Heidi Klum Is Erasing Seal From Her Body

Heidi Klum had a much-publicized split from hubby Seal last year, and since then she’s moved on, finding happiness with her bodyguard Martin Kristen and focusing on her kids and career. Now it looks like she’s ready to remove Seal from her life in other ways; the mom of four is slowly having the forearm tattoo of his name surgically removed.

The process–which is painful, costly, and has to be repeated several times–is usually done by laser and takes a while to complete. Klum was spotted out with her kids recently, however, and the ink looked pretty faded.

This is why tattoo artists warn against inking someone’s name on your body…true love is rarely forever. Just ask Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie.
