  • Chris Brown Ordered To Stay In Rehab, Diagnosed With Bipolar Disorder and PSTD

Chris Brown’s temper tantrums and violent past now has a classification.

According to E! News, the singer-actor has reportedly been diagnosed with bipolar and post-traumatic stress disorders. The publication also obtained legal documentation, which confirms Brown’s condition, explaining his notable behavioral problems.

The letter from Brown’s Malibu rehabilitation facility gives an account with details about his diagnosis.

“Mr. Brown will also require close supervision by his treating physician in order to ensure his bipolar mental health condition remains stable. It is not uncommon for patients with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Bipolar II to use substances to self-medicate their biomedical mood swings and trauma triggers.”

The Grammy Award-winning singer’s actions, which were a result of the untreated mental disorder, were also explained. “Mr. Brown became aggressive and acted out physically due to his untreated mental health disorder, severe sleep deprivation, inappropriate self-medicating and untreated PTSD.”

As a result of the diagnosis, the judge has ordered Brown to remain in the residential rehab program for an additional two months. Brown’s community service records were also included in the report, specifying that he has “completed 250 hours of community labor and has a remaining balance of 750 hours.”

The Battle of the Year actor reportedly completes a total of 24 hours of community service each week. The report projects that with Brown doing 8 hours of community service three times a week, he is expected to complete the remaining balance of the hours by Oct. 10. “It is evident that [Brown] has responded well to the dual diagnosis treatment,” Judge Brandlin said.

Although the “Loyal” singer received a laudatory report from the probation department, the judge still refused to overturn the decision. Brown will remain in the rehab facility.

The report also expressed that Brown “would like to inform the court that he appreciates what he has learned in the rehabilitation facility, as it has allowed him to change his life for the better,” and that “he remains thankful to the court for the opportunity to find out and learn about himself, his anger issues and the type of person he wants to become, which is a man who is able to better himself and be a positive role model.”

  • Grant Hackett: Australian Olympic Swimmer Seeks Rehab Treatment

An urgent family intervention Tuesday on the Gold Coast prompted Australian Olympic swimmer Grant Hackett to seek help for a drug addiction.

Now, Hackett is on his way to the United States to admit himself into a rehab facility.

The 33-year-old gold-winning Olympian is reportedly addicted to the sleeping drug Stilnox, surprisingly the same drug fellow swimmer Michael Phelps once admitted to using.

In 2012, the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) banned the medication during the Summer Games in London. Their decision was in response to Hackett’s admittance to using “such medications while he was competing at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.” AOC said that it wanted to avoid any manipulative performances offered by its athletes.

Hackett was reportedly on Stilnox in 2011 and 2012 for a shoulder injury-something he said at one point scared him because he considered the drug to be “evil.”

    Mail Online reported:

Stilnox, a Zolpiem drug, is also used for anxiety but can be highly addictive if overused.

Side effects from the drug have been linked to strange behavior, hallucinations, impaired judgement and delusions.

A recent episode that occurred in Melbourne’s Crown Casino hotel established just how impairing this drug has made the father of two.

On Saturday morning, Hackett noticed that his son was missing from his hotel room. He frantically grabbed his daughter Charlize and ran down to the lobby in search for her twin brother Jagger.

Witnesses say that Hackett seemed a little off, as he was seen wearing nothing else but underwear covered by a shirt. The whole ordeal was captured on security footage, showing a worried Hackett asking the front desk for help.

The toddler was eventually found safely on another floor.

Hackett has previously revealed streaks of violence while married to ex-wife and ‘baby mama’ Candice Alley.

Here is a 2012 report done by Australia’s Today Tonight interviewing Hackett about vandalizing his family home:

Even though those close to him have denied such claims, it seems that Hackett has dealt with personal demons for a while.

The swimmer’s loved ones are just happy that he will soon receive well-needed help.

A spokesperson of the family said in a statement to Mail Online: “His family and friends are enormously proud of his courage in pursuing this course of action.”

  • Ke$ha Enters Rehab For Eating Disorder

Ke$ha Enters Rehab For Eating Disorder

A few days ago, Ke$ha released a video for the “Dirty Love” track, from her 2012 Warrior album.”Dirty Love” marks her directorial debut. In the video, Ke$ha strips down to her underwear and dances around an abandoned building, dancing mainly on a stage similar to those found in strip clubs. At one point in the video, she’s seen wearing a skin-tight flesh colored top with short-shorts. Ke$ha leaves little to the imagination with her outfits in this risque video.

She shows off more skin and her skinny frame in her video collaboration with Pitbull, for his track “Timber.” In”Timber,” she dances around once again in her underwear and bra.

Ke$ha’s body is hard to ignore in both of these videos.

Now through an official statement to TMZ, Ke$ha has announced that she’s checking into a rehabilitation facility. Usually when a celebrity announces they’re going to rehab it’s for substance abuse. This is not the case with Ke$ha. However, she’s entering it for something equally as serious. Ke$ha entered rehab yesterday morning for an eating disorder. She will remain there for at least 30 days.

The vegetarian singer told TMZ about her decision by saying, “I’m a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I’ve found it hard to practice. I’ll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder… to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am.”

Ke$ha will be treated at the Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center in Lemont, IL. This is the same treatment facility where Demi Lovato went to for her health problems. The treatment center is about 40 minutes away from Chicago, IL.

MTV just finished airing the second season of Ke$ha’s series My Crazy Beautiful Life. There is no word yet on whether MTV plans to renew the series for a 3rd season, and how Ke$ha’s eating disorder might play into the reality show’s production.

Hopefully the Timberline Knolls rehabilitation center can help Ke$ha make a speedy and long-term recovery from her eating disorder. We wish Ke$ha luck on her battle with this serious disorder.

  • Eastwood Wife Rehab Not For Substance Abuse

Clint Eastwood hasn’t been in the headlines much since his much-maligned appearance at the RNC last year, but his wife and daughters are still plugging away at their reality show, “Mrs. Eastwood And Company”. However, it may all be too much for Dina, as she’s just entered a rehab facility in Arizona for depression and anxiety.

There’s been some speculation that the Eastwoods are headed for divorce, as they are rarely seen in public together and reportedly acted awkwardly at the recent wedding of Clint’s daughter Alison.

Reps for the stars say the rehab stint is not for substance abuse of any kind, but details now are scarce. The family has had no comment.
