  • Nicole Scherzinger Reveals Gym Antics, Opens Up About Eating Disorder

Nicole Scherzinger has a jaw-dropping figure, and she’s undeniably beautiful.

Although the 36-year-old singer-actress admits that it takes a gratuitous effort to maintain her incredible body, she never backs down from the challenge!

However, she insists fans would probably be a bit surprised to know that her actual workouts aren’t nearly as sexy as it would appear in a music video.

According to Cover Media, the “Whatever U Like” singer made an appearance on the British talk show Lorraine, where she dished about her hilarious gym antics.

“People at my hotel must be cracking up!” she quipped. “They think it’s glamorous, but you see me in the gym and I look crazy; I’m all sweating, huffing and puffing and turning red. You have to work hard to get results!”

The Killer Love singer also revealed that she’s definitely no stranger to hard work. Scherzinger has reportedly surmounted a number of tough obstacles in her life. Back in 2012, Scherzinger went public about her eight-year battle with bulimia. Although she’s much healthier now, she still thinks it’s important to discuss her past and how she’s managed to overcome her struggle with the debilitating eating disorder.

“I didn’t give up. I have a very strong faith and an amazing family. Nobody’s perfect, people would look at me and I’d think, ‘You don’t know half the story, you have no idea.’ I had the courage to speak out because I realized I could help other people,” she explained.

“Everybody gets in that dark headspace and you have to fight back. I threw myself back into my music, stuff that builds my confidence.”

Now that her health battle is an issue of the past, Scherzinger is looking forward to focusing on her music career. She’s currently promoting her new single, “Your Love.” The song, which was released on May 30, is the first single from her upcoming second studio album. No release date has been announced for the new album, as of yet.

  • Channing Tatum Wants To Be Like Jennifer Lawrence

Channing Tatum is pretty well-known for showing off his bod in films, so it’s a little surprising that he recently admitted he packs on the pounds between projects.

“I’m a fat kid on the inside,” he said. “I love food so much, and I fluctuate about 25-30 pounds between movies. I feel like I have to do a chess movie that requires very little movement at some point, just so I can eat pizza and play chess on the beach all day. And then eat more pizza and cheeseburgers and drink beer. That’d be amazing. I’d give anything for that. I gotta figure that movie out!”

Tatum’s wife, Jenna Dewan, is pregnant with the couple’s first child, so that may have something to do with his eating habits; everyone knows expectant dads eat for two, as well. Funny how he says he’d love to find a way to work eating junk food into preparing for a role, because he also admitted he looks up to a certain actress who doesn’t believe in dieting.

“I wouldn’t mind being the male Jennifer Lawrence. I think she’s incredibly cool,” he said.

Tatum is currently filming “Jupiter Ascending” in London; his most recent project was “White House Down”.

  • Denise Richards: Skinny Jeans Are Too Skinny

Denise Richards was spotted running errands recently looking decidedly thinner than usual, and rumors are now floating around online that she’s developed an eating disorder.

Richards was snapped by photographers as she picked up her daughters from gymnastics in a sleeveless top which showed off her slender arms, and skinny jeans that showcased her thin frame. And while Hollywood’s obsession with thin actresses has reached an unhealthy peak in recent years, Richards says she doesn’t workout in order to get “skinny”.

“When I exercise I never say I work out to stay thin — I always use the words healthy and strong,” Richards said. “I don’t obsess about wearing makeup when I leave the house or looking a certain way. I often look frumpy in paparazzi shots because I may just throw myself together going to the park and soccer games.”

The media has faced a wave of backlash in recent months over an emphasis on female bodies–Ashley Judd wrote a particularly strong essay for The Daily Beast regarding rumors that she’d had plastic surgery–but the truth is, gossip magazines are just one part of the problem. These days, anyone with an opinion can have a very public voice via Twitter, Facebook, or any number of social media sites. And when the issue is about a woman being too thin, it can be just as hurtful as talk about a woman being too soft.

But Richards says she lives a healthy lifestyle because she has young daughters to set an example for.

“I don’t know why lately I’ve been getting so much flack for it… I have a very healthy lifestyle and I’m busy. I have a daughter who’s almost 2 that I carry all the time. She’s just under 30 pounds. What bothers me is I have three daughters, and I’m such an advocate for health and fitness… in moderation. We eat ice cream all the time.”
