  • Nick Gordon Didn’t Kill Bobbi Kristina Brown, According to Papers Filed to Dismiss Wrongful Death Lawsuit

Nick Gordon didn’t kill Bobbi Kristina Brown–at least according to Nick Gordon and the team of lawyers he assembled to file paperwork to dismiss the wrongful death lawsuit he was hit with when Bobbi Kristina died on July 26th. His legal team calls the accusations against Nick Gordon “false” and “frivolous.”

“[The original lawsuit] contains several unsupported conclusory, untrue, criminal accusations that Defendant Nicholas Gordon committed acts that he simply did not do,” read part of the motion. “[The] plaintiff has not provided any evidence including but not limited to affidavits, police reports, indictments, or any other documentation to support baseless claims against Defendant Nicholas Gordon,” the papers read.

The original lawsuit filed by an executor for Bobbi Kristina Brown–before she died–accused Nick Gordon of having abused Bobbi Kristina in the days prior to her being discovered unconscious in a bathtub inside her Roswell, Georgia townhouse. Gordon was also accused of stealing money from her bank account while Bobbi Kristina was hospitalized in a coma.

When Bobbi Kristina Brown died, the lawsuit was amended.

“Bobbi Kristina was subsequently diagnosed with global and irreversible brain damage and died as a result of Defendant’s actions,” the amended paperwork read.

Nick Gordon’s attorneys, Joe Habachy and Jose Baez (Baez represented Casey Anthony in the murder trial of her toddler, Caylee Anthony), called the suit “slanderous and meritless.”

“Nick has been heartbroken and destroyed over the loss of his love and it’s shameful that such baseless allegations have been presented publicly,” the attorneys said in a joint statement to ABC News. “Nick has engaged civil counsel and intends to defend the lawsuit vigorously and expose it for what it is: a fictitious assault against the person who loved Krissy most.”

Do you think Nick Gordon caused Bobbi Kristina’s death? Her father, Bobby Brown, and members of her mom, Whitney Houston’s family, believe so.

Will Nick wind up paying for the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s untimely death or will his legal team get the whole thing dismissed instead?

  • Bobbi Kristina: Dad Bobby Brown Welcomes One Daughter, Waits for Another to Die

Bobbi Kristina Brown is living out her last days in a hospice facility outside of Atlanta, while her dad Bobby Brown experiences a range of emotions so vast it’s nearly unfathomable. The New Edition singer has welcomed a new daughter into the world with wife Alicia Etheredge as he waits for another daughter to die.

Alicia Etheredge gave birth to her second child with Bobby Brown on Saturday at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. They also have a five-year-old son named Cassius.

Bobby Brown left Bobbi Kristina’s bedside and was in L.A. in time to be with Alicia before their daughter made her way into the world.

Bobbi Kristina has hovered near death’s door since being moved from a rehab facility to the hospice a couple of weeks ago. She has been removed from all forms of life support but appears to be hanging on.

It was back on January 31st that Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in a bathtub in her Roswell, Georgia home. She has never regained consciousness. A trip to a Chicago hospital prior to the move to hospice assured family members there is no brain activity and no chance that Bobbi Kristina will recover.

Meanwhile Nick Gordon–Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend and the young man raised alongside her by Whitney Houston–has assembled a legal team to represent him in a civil lawsuit filed by a conservator on behalf of Bobbi Kristina Brown. The lawsuit alleges that in the days prior to Bobbi Kristina’s tragedy he physically abused her and withdrew money from her bank accounts without her permission.

Gordon has retained Jose Baez as one of his attorneys. Baez represented Casey Anthony in the murder trial of her toddler, Caylee Anthony.

Nick Gordon, of course, denies these allegations and maintains his only wish is to see Bobbi Kristina one more time before she passes away.

Yes, the range of emotions Bobby Brown is experiencing right now is vast. The joy of welcoming one daughter into the world while waiting for another to take her last breath is something no father should ever have to endure.

How sad that Bobbi Kristina will never know her new half-sister.

  • Bobbi Kristina Brown: Leolah Brown Says No One from Her Family Took Deathbed Photo

Bobbi Kristina Brown is still clinging to life in a hospice facility outside of Atlanta, while members of her dad’s family are still causing a commotion with every opportunity that arises. Right now the commotion of choice is the Bobbi Kristina Brown deathbed photo that is reportedly being shopped from tabloid to tabloid, and the banning of the Brown family–with the exception of dad Bobby Brown–from Bobbi Kristina’s bedside.

Leolah Brown–Bobby’s sister and Bobbi Kristina’s aunt–has been one of the more outspoken and seemingly spotlight-starved members of said family, and her latest gripe to reporters is regarding that deathbed photo.

In a recent post on social media, Leolah Brown is adamant that no one from the Brown family took the deathbed photo.

“Please know that, that picture that was taken of my niece, Bobbi Kristina was taken when NO other Brown was around her. My brothers KNOW this and we have already determined who we are sure it WAS NOT! And believe me-IT WAS NOT A BROWN!” she wrote.

Leolah Brown also insinuated that some of the visitors still allowed at Bobbi Kristina’s bedside shouldn’t be there.

“I knew in my heart this would happen and did MY best to try to keep certain people away and at the same time keep the peace for my niece’s and brothers sake,” she added. “But there is only so much I can do (right now)!”

And then she indicated her shock and dismay over Bobbi Kristina Brown even being in a hospice facility.

“I am just as shocked as you are when it comes to the status of my niece, Bobbi Kristina, even being in hospice. To the best of my knowledge, she was getting better!”

In a local radio interview, however,Leolah admitted that Bobbi Kristina was in dire shape.

“I am not going to bite my tongue. My niece is laying in hospice right now, dying,” she said.

How sad it is that the 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown is near death in a hospice while members of her dad’s family are seeking not only to profit financially from her condition, but to get their 15 minutes of fame as well.

Meanwhile Nick Gordon, against whom a conservator for Bobbi Kristina recently filed a civil lawsuit, has assembled a top-notch legal team–including the one Casey Anthony used during her murder trail in the death of her two-year-old daughter Caylee Anthony–and has indicated he wants to see Bobbi Kristina one last time before she dies. The suit alleges Nick Gordon physically abused Bobbi Kristina, and withdrew funds from her bank accounts without her permission.

Some speculate that when Bobbi Kristina passes away that Nick Gordon may be charged with murder.

Will Bobbi Kristina Brown ever rest in peace–even after she is reunited with mom Whitney Houston? It seems like a fight over her short life will ensue here on earth for a long time to come.

  • Bobbi Kristina Brown Deathbed Photo Results in Brown Family Being Banned from Hospice

Bobbi Kristina Brown will take her last breath in a hospice outside of Atlanta. Someone who visited her at that hospice facility took a deathbed photo of Bobbi Kristina, and is in the process of shopping it to a number of tabloids. It is believed that the person who took the photo is a member of Bobby Brown’s family. As a result, the Brown family–with the exception of Bobby Brown–has been banned from visiting Bobbi Kristina at the hospice.

HollywoodLife.com reports that a security team told Whitney Houston’s family they had evidence that a member of Bobby Brown’s family had taken the deathbed photo of Bobbi Kristina. The executors of her estate–Bobby Brown and Pat Houston–have since prohibited any additional Brown family members from visiting again.

The Houston family reportedly knows the name of the person who took the tasteless photo. And even though they know that person aims to profit from Bobbi Kristina’s tragedy, they still won’t divulge who it is.

Bobbi Kristina Brown was discovered unconscious in a bathtub in her Roswell, Georgia home back on January 31st. She has never regained consciousness. Before moving her to the hospice facility, she was flown to Chicago for one last doctor’s exam. Following the exam, doctors told Bobby Brown there was nothing they could do for his daughter.

It won’t be long before Bobbi Kristina Brown is reunited with her mother, Whitney Houston, who tragically was found in a very similar state as Bobbi Kristina. Whitney, however, had died by the time she was discovered in the bathtub.

A lawsuit has been filed against Nick Gordon–Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend–by an executor. The civil suit alleges he physically abused Bobbi Kristina and withdrew money from her bank account without her permission in the days leading up to her tragedy.

Nick Gordon denies the allegations and is busy assembling a legal team that includes Jose Baez, the attorney who represented Casey Anthony, who was charged with but acquitted of the murder of her two-year-old daughter Caylee Anthony.

Once Bobbi Kristina Brown passes away, Nick Gordon could be charged with murder. It is likely that Bobby Brown will go after whomever took the deathbed photo of Bobbi Kristina then, too.

How sad that in addition to watching Bobbi Kristina Brown’s life slip away, the Brown and Houston families also have to deal with these additional matters–one that may be criminal in nature, and the other a matter of pure greed.

  • Nick Gordon: Legal Team in Bobbi Kristina Brown Lawsuit to Include Casey Anthony’s Lawyer

Nick Gordon was named in a civil suit last week when a conservator for Bobbi Kristina Brown filed a lawsuit against him. The suit alleges he abused Bobbi Kristina in the days leading up to January 31st, when she was found unconscious in her bathtub. The suit claims Nick Gordon physically assaulted her and took money from her bank accounts without her permission.

Now ET is reporting that Nick Gordon is assembling a high power legal team, in anticipation of the possibility of more charges coming when Bobbi Kristina Brown dies. Jose Baez is included on his legal team. He is the lawyer who represented Casey Anthony, who was acquitted in the murder of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony.

In addition to Jose Baez, Nick Gordon’s legal team thus far includes Joe Habachy, who will serve as lead attorney. TJ Ward, one of the investigators who worked on the disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway when she went missing in Aruba in 2005, is expected to sign on to the team as well.

No criminal charges have yet been filed against Nick Gordon, but it’s expected that could happen.

“[The District’s Attorney] will have to make a decision whether this was a homicide, a domestic violence or non-criminal,” former LA prosecutor Michael Kraut explained in a conversation with ET. “Nick clearly doesn’t have $10 million. The lawsuit was filed to get information in order to provide the police and district attorney about what happened on that day.”

Do you expect Nick Gordon might be charged with murder when Bobbi Kristina Brown passes away? Her family is sitting vigil by her bedside at a Georgia hospice awaiting that fateful moment.

Meanwhile Nick Gordon was recently spotted out shopping in Florida.

Do you think there is enough evidence against Nick Brown to prove that he harmed Bobbi Kristina enough to cause her death?

  • Casey Anthony: Does She Deserve Life Of Loneliness?

Casey Anthony has all but disappeared off the face of the planet after her sensational murder trial back in 2011. While photo upon photo of Casey Anthony partying it up while her daughter was missing was shared during her trial, it seems she now lives a life of nervous solitude according her lawyer-turned-friend, Cheney Mason.

Mason, who just that year had been selected by Florida Monthly magazine as one of Florida’s top lawyers, was brought on board pro-bono. This was after giving extensive advise to Casey Anthony’s then unknown and under-experienced lawyer, Jose Baez.

Mason said he joined Casey Anthony’s team not only because he believed she was innocent of the murder of her daughter, Caylee, but also because he was upset about the way the media at the time treated Baez.

“I was offended by it. I was offended by the fact that he wasn’t being treated fairly. I didn’t know Baez. I had never met him,” Mason said.

He says that Casey Anthony still insists that she is innocent. He says that during the trial Casey Anthony became very upset when a plea deal was brought up.

“Casey got very angry about that. She got very angry to hear talk about it. She didn’t want to hear it.” Mason said. “Casey would fight it ’til her last breath. She didn’t kill her daughter.”

Even though Casey Anthony maintains her innocence, she is still guilty in the eyes of many Americans who sat for hours watching the details of her trial as they were released. Therefore, it is nearly impossible for her to live a normal life.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmjlT8hUuc4

“I think Casey has a lot of world left to have to deal with. She hasn’t been freed from her incarceration yet ’cause she can’t go out. She can’t go to a beauty parlor, she can’t go shopping to a department store, she can’t go to a restaurant, she can’t even go to McDonald’s. She can’t do anything”, Mason said of Casey Anthony’s life of solitude.

If she is innocent, it’s sad that Casey Anthony’s life has been even more destroyed after the murder of her daughter. If she is guilty, then I suppose a life of rejection and loneliness is the best she should have hoped for and way better than she deserves.

  • Casey Anthony: Lawyer Speaks Beyond The Trial

Casey Anthony was in her early 20’s when her 2-year old daughter, Caylee, disappeared. A massive search began for the beautiful little girl, whose picture could be seen just about everywhere. Her face was soon burned into the minds of just about everyone who owned a television, and as the days went on, it became clear to some that little Caylee wasn’t going to be found alive. Suspicion soon turned to Casey, who lied to officials about where she worked and about the fact that her nanny had taken Caylee, and it didn’t take long for the death threats to begin. When Caylee’s remains were found in December of 2008, talk began of seeking the death penalty. After that, talk turned to plea deals, but Anthony wouldn’t hear of it, says Florida Attorney Cheney Mason.

“Casey got very angry about that. She got very angry to hear talk about it. She didn’t want to hear it. Casey would fight it ’til her last breath. She didn’t kill her daughter,” Mason said.

According to Mason–who spoke with Anthony on several occasions while she was incarcerated–Anthony fears for her safety and lives in virtual seclusion in Florida, afraid to live a normal life after being acquitted in 2011.

“She has to live constantly on guard. She can’t go out in public. I think Casey has a lot of world left to have to deal with. She hasn’t been freed from her incarceration yet ’cause she can’t go out. She can’t go to a beauty parlor, she can’t go shopping to a department store, she can’t go to a restaurant, she can’t even go to McDonald’s. She can’t do anything,” he said.

Added to Anthony’s concern is the paparazzi; TMZ reported that she was on a shopping trip soon after she was acquitted and had been spotted in Ohio. Her high profile case and the strong public reaction against her have kept her from speaking out, although Mason says he believes she wants to. For now, what happened to Caylee remains a mystery, although the remains were allegedly found with duct tape on the skull, which contributed to the homicide investigation. There was talk during the trial that Caylee might have drowned and Casey and her father, George, panicked and hid the evidence, but both denied that on the stand.

“I do think she wants to speak out. I have never asked her that, but I know she has very strong feelings for what has happened to her. I also know she’s very saddened by her loss and she will never forget her daughter Caylee, ever.”

Casey Anthony Items For Sale On Murderabilia Website

Have you ever wondered where you can buy items that were previously owned by serial killers? Well, look no further.

Eric Holler, owner of serialkillersink.net, has made a living selling “murderabilia”. Holler has items from Charles Manson, John Wayne Gacy, David Berkowitz, and now a whole section on Casey Anthony, the woman who was acquitted of murdering her young daughter. Holler’s selection includes clothing from Anthony, and several of her purses. However, don’t think that you will be able to purchase these items cheap…each item is selling for $800.

Apparently, Anthony’s parents held a garage sale to help pay for Anthony’s $800,000 debt back in June 2013. Christian Werner, a local resident, stopped at the garage sale and purchased several items, which she then sold to the website. Werner made sure to videotape her purchase so she could prove their authenticity.

    (image)

“I drove by and noticed the house looked familiar to me. I had seen this house before,” Werner said. “I got close and noticed that the people outside really looked like George and Cindy Anthony. It was the home of Caylee Anthony’s grandparents. When I pulled up, they were taking tarps off the yard sale items that were covered due to the rain,” she continued. “I immediately noticed the two white canopies over the yard sale tables because they looked like the tents used in the search for Caylee.”

So, why did Holler choose a profession selling murderer’s items? He says that he is “catering to supply and demand.” “I’m in this business to make a profit, like any other entrepreneur,” he said. “I know there is a demand for items I sell.” However, Holler does have some sort of a conscience…he refused to sell Caylee’s items because that would be “crossing the line.”

  • Casey Anthony Items for Sale on Website

Don’t you hate it when you really want to get your hands on items that were previously owned by infamous killers or people of interest, but don’t know where to look? If so, you may be excited to know that there’s a website that has what you’ve been looking for, especially if you want something Casey Anthony owned.

The website serialkillersink.net sells “murderabilia” from a variety of people in the crime spotlight, including Charles Manson, John Wayne Gacy and David Berkowitz. The newest merchandise, however, is from Casey Anthony, who was famously found “not-guilty” of murdering her young daughter, Caylee, who was found dead in 2008.

The items for sale, including seven pairs of pants and six purses, were purchased by Christina Werner, who attended a garage sale held by Anthony’s parents and secretly videotaped the transaction. Werner then sold the merchandise to Eric Holler, who runs the website.

“I’m catering to supply and demand,” said Holler in an interview. “Of course I’m trying to profit; I’m running a business here. I’m not in the business of losing money.”

Every man has his limitations, however, and Holler has his own. He said he would not sell any of Caylee’s toys, as that would “cross the line.”

If you’re interested in purchasing any of Anthony’s items, expect to pay about $800 for each piece. Along with the satisfaction of knowing you now own something that Anthony once possessed, you will also receive a “certificate of authenticity.”

Twitter was filled was opinions about the website and its Anthony items:

  • Casey Anthony Reaches Settlement with Texas Group EquuSearch

Casey Anthony, the Florida mother involved in the infamous 2011 acquittal for the 2008 murder of her 2-year-old daughter, has reached a settlement agreement with EquuSearch (TES).

The Texas-based company specializes in search and rescue operations in an effort to locate missing persons. Headquartered in the Houston suburb of Dickerson, Texas, the organization gained notoriety with the high-profile abduction case of Natalee Holloway.

The organization made headlines again with their search for 2-year-old Caylee Anthony. Six months after the disappearance and death, the toddler’s body was found duct-taped in a wooded area not far from Anthony’s home. The organization sued Anthony’s

Texas EquuSearch claims that they shelled out more than $100,000 for the search of Caylee Anthony. They brought “countless” volunteers on board to participate in the nation-wide search for the child, who was already dead. In wake of the national search,, the company even had to turn down others in the same predicament to give Anthony’s case top priority.

“Texas EquuSearch’s mission and purpose is to help families and individuals to find their missing loved ones,” he said. “That’s the reason they helped the Anthony family in the first place. While they were searching for Caylee, they got calls from other families for help and had to turn them away.”

The breaking point for EquuSearch came when Anthony’s lawyers informed jurors during the trial that the child drowned in the backyard pool, and that Anthony was well aware that the child was not missing.

Attorney Marc Wites, who represents Texas EquuSearch, stated on Monday that the organization opted not to go to trial with the case. Anthony, 26, filed for bankruptcy at the top of the year in wake of the mounting cost she incurred amid the trial. She stated that she only has approximately $1,000 in assets, with more than an estimated $800,000 in debt.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the search organization will be granted an unsecured claim of $75,000 under the terms of Anthony’s settlement in her bankruptcy case. However, it’s relatively unlikely that they’ll receive that amount. They will probably get a small portion of whatever can be salvaged of Anthony’s estate through her bankruptcy trustee. But, judging from the grim estimation of Anthony’s assets, they won’t walk away with much, if anything at all.

The motion was filed last week in the federal bankruptcy court of Tampa, Florida. However, in exchange for the acceptance of the settlement terms, EquuSearch will not be entitled to any other monetary claims, and will be forced to cease any further action in the case.

  • Casey Anthony To Appear In Court In October

Casey Anthony, the young mother famously acquitted in 2011 of first-degree murder in the death of her toddler, Caylee, will be returning to court in October. A deposition in the civil suit against Anthony filed by Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, the “nanny” Anthony claimed abducted her daughter and later admitted she did not even know, is scheduled for October 9th in Tampa.

Fernandez-Gonzalez is suing Anthony for defamation of character and losses she acquired stemming from the manhunt in 2008; she says Casey Anthony “ruined her life” when she was wrongfully accused.

Casey Anthony was found not guilty in the death of her daughter over two years ago, and has rarely been seen in public since; many still believe the bizarre circumstances surrounding little Caylee’s death are too much to be coincidence, and that Casey Anthony undoubtedly murdered her own baby.

Anthony didn’t report her daughter’s disappearance until weeks after the fact and then led police on numerous leads that were all eventually proven to be completely false.

The October deposition will be the first of many for Casey Anthony, who is the target of several other civil suits filed by individuals and groups involved in the disappearance of, and search for, three-year-old Caylee. It will also be the first time Anthony is under oath – being under oath prevents a person from remaining silent under their Fifth Amendment rights, which Casey is known for, in order to avoid speaking about the ordeal.

Fernandez-Gonzalez’s attorney, Matt Morgan of Morgan and Morgan, told an Orlando news station, “There is no option, when you are being deposed. Your attorney can make an objection but you have to talk, there’s no option to stay silent or plead the Fifth in this particular set of circumstances.”

The most anyone can hope for at this point is that the true details surrounding Caylee’s death will be brought to light and the case can finally rest; Caylee’s remains were finally discovered six months after her disappearance, and Casey Anthony created blatant lies about her daughter’s whereabouts throughout the search, hindering the investigation.

  • Caylee Anthony’s Belongings Sold In Yard Sale

Caylee Anthony, the 2-year old whose mother went on trial–and was ultimately found not guilty–for her murder, left behind some belongings with her grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony. Those belongings–including toys, jewelry, and clothing–were laid out in a yard sale in Mount Dora, Florida over the weekend for anyone to buy.

Christina Werner happened to be driving by and stopped at the sale when something grabbed her attention.

“When I pulled up, they were taking tarps off the yard sale items that were covered due to the rain,” Werner told Radar Online. “I immediately noticed the two white canopies over the yard sale tables because they looked like the tents used in the search for Caylee.”

Werner bought several of the child’s items and says she seemed to be the only one who realized the significance of what was up for sale. Interestingly, the Anthonys allegedly argued in front of her about the price of some of the items, as George had marked them down without telling his wife and that upset her.

Casey Anthony has been in hiding somewhere in Florida since the end of her 2011 trial but has faced several legal battles in court; despite being found not guilty of her daughter’s murder, she was found guilty of providing false information to police and, after all her trial costs and the legal costs stemming from a defamation lawsuit, she is now $800,000 in debt. She has filed for bankruptcy and just reached a settlement agreement regarding the rights to her life story in which she’ll pay $25,000, though it’s not clear where she will get the money.

  • Casey Anthony Agrees To Pay 25K To Settle Life Rights Dispute

Casey Anthony has agreed to pay $25,000 to settle a dispute in her bankruptcy case involving the rights to her life story, although no one is quite clear on where she’s going to get the money.

Anthony went to court back in March for her bankruptcy hearing, claiming she was more than $800,000 in debt due to fines accrued from her 2011 murder trial. She has been unemployed since the highly sensationalized case and it’s been unclear who has been supporting her, though a pending book deal could help put a dent in her debts. When trustee Stephen Meininger filed a motion to sell the worldwide rights to her life story–calling it an asset that could be used to get her finances back in shape–Anthony’s attorneys opposed the motion, saying it was a “slippery slope that would have dangerous repercussions far beyond the scope of this case.” Now, both sides are working out a resolution, which includes the $25,000 settlement.

Anthony has been mostly in hiding since the end of the trial, in which she was found not guilty of the murder of her 2-year old daughter, Caylee. She was, however, found guilty of providing false information to police during the investigation and served time for those charges. She is currently in a legal battle with Zenaida Gonzalez, who says Anthony ruined her reputation and defamed her when she told police that a woman with the same name was Caylee’s babysitter and had taken off with the toddler.

  • Casey Anthony Sued For $3 Billion, Nancy Grace Involved

Casey Anthony, who made international headlines when she was accused and then acquitted of the murder of her two-year old daughter, Caylee, is now being sued by a woman who says Anthony caused her emotional and mental distress and threatened to kill her.

Naomi Riches claims that between 2009 and 2011, Anthony called her at her home and threatened her life, telling her that people were watching her and had poisoned her drinking water. RadarOnline has published some of the alleged claims from the suit, which Riches hopes will net her $3 billion.

“Casey Anthony is an Illuminati actress who has used the summers 2009-2011 to mock and harass my current circumstances,” the lawsuit reads. “Casey Anthony and Nancy Grace are working in cahoots with one another to fill the media with propaganda so that American Citizens believe there is Justice in this country… Casey Anthony called my house August 2011 and told me that my life was being exploited and that I was a hated nation wife, she told me she would come to my house in Fort Collins, Colorado and kill me just as they did Peggy Hettrick in 1987. She let me know that my left eye would be stabbed out as a part of the Illuminati symbolism. She told me that the government was going to find a way to tap into my water pipes and poison my water supply. I was terrified to shower and drink water for months. I had to spend $600.00 on bottled water….She (Casey Anthony) told me that there were cameras lodged in the back of my eyes and that my life is a reality show for the Elite. Because of her, I suffer from severe psychological damage. For months I couldn’t use the bathroom to go number 1 or 2 without thinking there was some sick wealthy pervert watching me through cameras Casey Anthony claimed were lodged in the back of my eyes.”

It’s been reported that Judge David Baker has dismissed the case–as well as a temporary restraining order–on the grounds that the allegations against Anthony are “fantastic” and don’t meet the plausibility standard. However, this isn’t the first time Anthony has been sued; a defamation lawsuit was brought against her by Zenaida Gonzalez in May after Anthony testified that a woman by that name had been babysitting Caylee and had kidnapped her. In reality, the women had never met.

  • Casey Anthony Talks to Piers Morgan: Twitter Reacts

Casey Anthony, a woman who clearly needs no introduction, recently sat down with CNN’s Piers Morgan for a short, 10-minute off-camera interview, during which she stated that she did not murder her 2 year-old daughter, Caylee. Anthony also used the opportunity to state that she isn’t the irresponsible party girl that the media has portrayed her to be, though she remarked at one point that she was “ashamed in many ways of the person that I was”.

Due to death threats she’s received since the acquittal, Anthony spends the majority of her time in-doors, where she wiles away the hours watching TV and movies — black-and-white films and the Three Stooges are her favorites — reading books, cooking, cleaning, and exercising. She admitted to enjoying the “Hunger Games” series, a trilogy which, Morgan pointed out, features the murdering of children. Anthony, of course, didn’t take the bait.

Those interested viewers who were hoping to glean some insight into Caylee’s death will be greatly disappointed with the interview. Anthony didn’t say too much about her daughter’s untimely demise, though she did mention to Morgan that Caylee had “died”, not murdered.

“There’s nothing in this world I’ve ever been more proud of, and there’s no one I loved more than my daughter,” Anthony reportedly said. “She’s my greatest accomplishment.”

In other Casey Anthony-related news, the Lifetime network is currently preparing a motion picture centered around her attorneys. The film, entitled “Imperfect Justice”, will feature Canadian actress Holly Deveaux as Casey. Rob Lowe and Oscar Nunez are also slated to star.

What do Twitter users think of the Morgan-Anthony interview? You’re seconds away from finding out. Below are several reactions to the story, many of which come from users who believe that Anthony is 100% guilty of murdering her daughter.

  • Casey Anthony Trial -The Impact of the Online Jury

The disappearance and death of all children do not get the widespread media attention that Caylee Anthony’s case has received. The media, and public as a whole, have been practically entranced from the beginning by every lie the girl’s mother, Casey Anthony, told, every move the entire Anthony family made, and every detail that has been leaked about the first degree murder trial.

Has the media gone too far with the Casey Anthony case? Please share your thoughts.

With Casey Anthony’s trial in its third week, this attention has done nothing but increase both offline and online. Blogs, websites, Facebook and Twitter pages have all been created in regards to the case, and since the trial is being live streamed, Facebook and Twitter posts are being published continuously.

Here are a couple of examples of what’s being said on Twitter:

With these types of opinions spreading online, how can they keep from getting into the courtroom? Persuasive communications expert Juliet Huck told us that it would be very difficult to keep the online influences away from the courtroom.

“When you’ve had a case this long, which we’ve seen in the past, to have been so publicized, and now with more technology than ever before, it is very, very difficult, I think, to get a clean trial,” she said.

As Huck explained, the combination of audio and visual factors is the most important part of persuasive communications. It “builds up the retention level.” She went on to say that, instead of the traditional 12 jurors discussing the case, there are 12 thousand or 12 million people making up an online jury to debate the case.
