  • Cat Cora Is Divorcing Her Wife of 17 Years

Cat Cora and wife Jennifer Cora are splitting up.

The celebrity chef says it is with “great sadness” that her and her wife have decided to get a divorce. The couple have been together for 17 years.

“It is with great sadness, that after 17 years, a tremendous amount work, careful consideration and heavy hearts, my wife and I have mutually decided to no longer remain married. In love, there is a season, a reason and a lifetime,” Cora said in a statement.

“Although this is not what we ever imagined, we will always have four incredible reasons to celebrate our years together: our sons,” says Cora. “We are forever parents to our boys and are jointly committed to raising them in a peaceful, nurturing and healthy environment.”

But despite this statement, TMZ reports that there could be a custody battle brewing.

According to the gossip site, Jennifer has filed for full physical custody of their four children – all boys. Cat Cora has reportedly requested joint custody.

Jennifer Cora has requested spousal support from the Iron Chef.

  • Sarah Silverman Among Celebrities Wishing Joan Rivers Well

Sarah Silverman is among a group of celebrities who have taken to social media this weekend to share their get well wishes with Joan Rivers. The 81-year-old Fashion Police host remains hospitalized in New York in what is reported as very serious condition. She is said to be on life support following a medical emergency she suffered while undergoing an endoscopy at another medical facility.

On Friday, Melissa Rivers spoke to E! News about her mother’s condition, saying, “My mother would be so touched by the tributes and prayers that we have received from around the world. Her condition remains serious but she is receiving the best treatment and care possible. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts as we pray for her recovery.”

Sarah Silverman is scheduled to appear with Joan Rivers in a couple of weeks. Her tweet indicates she has no plans of going on alone. She shared the following via Twitter on Sunday.

Sarah Silverman shocked a few people at the Emmy Awards last week when she whipped out her liquid pot vapor pen while walking the red carpet. Rumors went wild saying she was stoned at the Emmys, too. She won an Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special for We Are Miracles, and had the following to say while accepting the award.

“And we’re just all made of molecules and we’re hurtling through space right now.”

She is likely hoping that all of Joan Rivers’ molecules come together for the best during this very trying time. In addition to Sarah Silverman, many additional celebrities have sent their get well wishes to Joan, too, including Lisa Vanderpump, Cat Cora, George Lopez, and Giuliana Rancic.

While telling jokes on stage in two weeks might be a bit unlikely for Joan Rivers, it’s likely that Sarah Silverman would jump for joy–as would many others–simply to see Joan up and about and feeling a whole lot better.

  • Cat Cora Is The Hottest Criminal Ever

Cat Cora, who is well-known for her Bravo show “Around The World In 80 Plates”, was recently involved in an accident in Santa Barbara and the people in the other vehicle told cops they suspected she was tipsy. She admitted to drinking three beers prior to getting in the driver’s seat and blew a .20 on the breathalyzer, yet her mug shot shows a clear-eyed, done-up cougar having a good hair day rather than a woman who’s just been arrested for pounding brews.

That’s because after the accident, she was taken to something called the Sobering Center in Santa Barbara rather than to jail. The mug shot came about eleven days later, after she’d had plenty of time to get all that alcohol out of her system. Cora hasn’t commented on any of that, but has admitted she regrets her actions.

“I deeply regret my decision to drive that evening after my designated driver became unavailable,” she said. “I learned a very important lesson from this experience and take full accountability for my actions. This will never happen again.”
