  • Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley Return To Host County Music Awards Show For Eighth Straight Year

Carrie Underwood and her hosting sidekick Brad Paisley will return to host the Country Music Association Awards on ABC this fall for an eighth straight year.

Scheduled for Nov. 4, the 49th annual awards show will air live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Paisley, who is currently touring on his Crushin’ It World Tour and has just joined Blake Shelton as a judge on The Voice, has won 14 CMA awards, making him No. 5 on the list of top CMA winners of all time.

Meanwhile, new momma Carrie Underwood has seven Grammy Awards and five CMA awards of her own.

The live show not only recognizes the top county music performances of the year, it features live performances and one-of-a-kind collaborations from many of the biggest names in country music.

Carrie Underwood and Paisley have their own unique hosting routine and surprises are always expected. Last year, Paisley “accidentally” blurted out the sex of Underwood’s baby. It was a boy, by the way.

A promo clip shows just how cute the county duo can be and why they have returned for eight straight years.

The nominees in each of the 12 categories, including Male Vocalist, Female Vocalist, Song, Single and Entertainer of the Year, will be announced on Sept. 9.

Who’s tuning in to see what shenanigans Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley get into for the 2015 CMA Awards?

  • Carrie Underwood Has Scare Of Her Life When Infant Son Isaiah Is Accidentally Locked Inside a Car

Carrie Underwood had quite the scare when her four-month-old son was accidentally locked inside a car over the weekend.

But, not to worry, the quick-thinking American Idol alum knew just what to do to save her little infant.

On Sunday, Carrie Underwood tweeted that her dogs accidentally locked themselves and her 4-month-old son, Isaiah, inside her car. The panicked mother did what any scared lioness would do for her cubs — she broke the window to get in, well sort of.

Carrie Underwood didn’t actually break the window herself. Instead, she called on her brother-in-law to break the window. Thankfully, Underwood later tweeted that her son was safe and sound after the heroics of her bro-in-law.

Needless to say, her car is now in need of some repair, but the means nothing compared to the safety of little Isaiah.

Carrie and husband Mike Fisher welcomed baby Isaiah in February.

Ironically, it was the Little Toy Guns singer’s two dogs, Penny and Ace, who helped the couple announce their pregnancy in a cute Twitter pic way back back in September.

Glad to hear Carrie Underwood’s baby is A-OK.

  • Carrie Underwood: It’s A Boy for Country Singer and Hockey Star Husband

Carrie Underwood and her husband, hockey player Mike Fisher, welcomed a baby boy to their world on Saturday. Of course whenever celebrities announce the birth of a baby, the first question that comes to mind involves the new baby’s name. Fortunately Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher were wise when naming their son. Not only did they choose a beautiful name, they also chose one he will never be embarrassed about in the future.

Carrie Underwood shared word of the blessed event via an Instagram photo she shared with her many followers.

“Tiny hands and tiny feet…God has blessed us with an amazing gift! Isaiah Michael Fisher – born on February 27. Welcome to the world, sweet angel!” she captioned the precious shot of their baby boy’s tiny hand.

Carrie Underwood announced her pregnancy back on Labor Day. She very creatively captioned that photo, “In honor of “Labor” Day, Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn’t be happier…”

Last month, Carrie Underwood had to miss the Grammy Awards when she wasn’t able to fly to L.A. because of her advanced pregnancy. She received a Grammy that night for Best Country Solo Performance for her gospel-tinged bit song, “Something in the Water.” Underwood is a devout Christian.

Congratulations are no doubt coming Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher’s way from fans, friends, and family members from around the world. It will be interesting to learn how long the American Idol winner will stay at home with baby Isaiah before returning to the recording studio or the concert stage.
