  • Sarah Silverman: Did She Smuggle Weed into SAG Awards on Saturday?

Sarah Silverman is a joker. That’s what comedians do. That’s why it’s hard to tell if she was kidding when she told E! News host Giuliana Rancic she had smuggled weed into toe SAG Awards on Saturday evening.

It was technically her boyfriend that Sarah Silverman claims was holding her weed at the 2016 awards show.

“My boyfriend is smuggling it in his rectum!” she said.

While chatting with Giuliana Rancic, Sarah Silverman recalled a prior Emmy win. She told an E! News host at the 2014 Emmy Awards that she had pot in her purse, and felt that even though she won, her admission overshadowed the entire event for her.

On Saturday night, she had no intention of being overshadowed.

“I didn’t bring a purse this time,” Sarah Silverman told Giuliana Rancic.

That’s when she claimed her boyfriend was smuggling her weed for her.

Of course it’s quite unlikely that Masters of Sex star Michael Sheen had Sarah Silverman’s pot in his rectum.

What a perfect ruse, however. You can bet that no one checked to be sure.

Sarah Silverman drew many eyes in her direction on Saturday night, and it likely had nothing to do with what she and Michael Sheen may or may not have had on their persons. One reason is the fake mustache she wore as she served as one of the show’s presenters.

The second reason is that Silverman rocked a fitted Vivienne Westwood gown–made by the same designer that made Sex and the City character Carrie Bradshaw’s wedding gown.

  • Sarah Jessica Parker Helps Bring Back Jordache Jeans

Sarah Jessica Parker Helps Bring Back Jordache Jeans

Sarah Jessica Parker is the new face of Jordache jeans. Do you think the woman best known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City can revive a brand that was popular in the 1980s?

During a recent interview with People magazine the actress talked about jeans–admitting she owns many pairs, and that some are very old.

“My first jeans were a pair that I inherited from my sister. Back in the day, when someone outgrew jeans in terms of length, my mom would just add a piece of tapestry tape to it and it would make it longer,” Sarah Jessica Parker explained. “So I got those, those were hand me downs. And then when I was around 12, we moved to New York. It was a cold winter, I know my mom said I could buy a pair of jeans; or rather she was going to buy me a pair of jeans. But I don’t think they were a designer jean–I don’t think she thought I was ready for that, I think it was probably a pretty standard fare. Not Healthtex necessarily, but I think one step above because I was really, really little and really, really skinny and I never fit into anything. So I don’t know what that jean was but I remember the experience [shopping for them].”

She went on to dish about a pair of jeans she has owned since 1983.

“We were taking some pictures of my husband and I and the kids, and we were all wearing stripes and I went to my closet and I put on a pair of jeans and I was like, I think these jeans are very, very, very, very old. And they were from 1983. And they were hilarious looking, they were super high-waisted. They’re a little paper baggy — but I really liked them. They’re a really light wash. I don’t know why I got them or how I got them, but I still have them,” Sarah Jessica Parker shared.

Can you believe Jordache jeans are back–and that Sarah Jessica Parker is the new face of the style?

Walmart will carry the new Jordache jeans–and unlike designer jeans of the 1980s–these ones are very affordable. They will run about $17 per pair.

Do you think Sarah Jessica Parker will wear Jordache jeans in real life?

    Would Carrie Bradshaw wear them?

  • Sarah Jessica Parker: ‘Sex and the City’s’ Carrie Bradshaw Turns 50

Sarah Jessica Parker, probably best known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, turns 50 today. The show began its run on HBO back in 1998 and continued through 2004. The show also brought Sarah Jessica Parker, along with her costars Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Chris Noth to the big screen–on more than one occasion.

Parker got her start in acting when she starred on Broadway in Annie. Prior to marrying Ferris Bueller star Matthew Broderick, she dated celebrities including John F. Kennedy, Jr. and Robert Downey, Jr.

Despite her success in Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica Parker always felt like she was so much more than just an actor on an Emmy Award-winning show. A wife and mother of son James Wilkie Broderick, who is now 13, and twins Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick and Tabitha Hodge Broderick, who are now almost six, she has a very busy life outside of work–which seems to have taken a backseat to her parenting duties since Sex and the City ended.

Sarah Jessica Parker has long resembled Carrie Bradshaw in one specific way–her amazing sense of style.

Are you among those who are likely finding it incredibly hard to believe that Sarah Jessica Parker is 50? What do you suppose Matthew Broderick and their children will do to celebrate her big day?

  • “Carrie Bradshaw” Comments Land Chris Noth In Hot Water

“Carrie Bradshaw” Comments Land Chris Noth In Hot Water

Carrie Bradshaw may have been a fictional character, but fans of the Sex And The City series aren’t taking some comments about her lightly this week.

Chris Noth, who played Mr. Big on the show, had some things to say about the dynamic between Carrie and his character in a recent interview and his comments are spreading across the web like wildfire.

“He never tried to pretend he was anything other than what he was. It was (Carrie) who tried to pretend he was something he wasn’t. He was always honest about himself – he never cheated on her. The relationship just didn’t work, and he went on to get married while she went on to … how many boyfriends did she have? She was such a whore!” he said.

Despite the rest of that quote, Noth has found himself in hot water this week with fans who have taken to Twitter and other social media outlets to call him out.

“There’s a misconception that Carrie was a victim of him, and that’s not the case — she was a strong, smart woman,” he went on.

As of now, Sarah Jessica Parker hasn’t commented on the interview, but former Sex And The City writer Jenny Bicks commented to Buzzfeed about it, saying, “Oh my God, that’s such a ‘Big’ thing to say! I will totally agree with Chris (and one generally should, as he is very big) on the fact that Carrie was a strong, smart woman (most of the time). However, he seems to have forgotten that he may not have cheated ON her, but he certainly cheated WITH her when he was married and Carrie was single. So, I would say that’s kinda slutty of Big. And also, not cool. Not cool at all. He’s lucky she married him in the end.”

  • Sarah Jessica Parker: Shoes, Bags and Clothes

Sarah Jessica Parker will have a new line of shoes, bags and clothing launching soon at Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com. The Sex and the City star’s character Carrie Bradshaw was known for her love of everything haute couture–especially her beloved Manolo Blahnik heels–so how surprising is it that Parker has designed a line of her own? It’s probably not a huge surprise for her fans–but a welcome announcement just the same.

Not all Nordstrom stores will carry the new Sarah Jessica Parker collection, but all pieces will be available online. The collection is set to launch on February 28th.

Parker’s shoes were made in Italy and the premiere line will feature 25 styles. They will range in price from $195 to $500 per pair. It seems her line has been based on Carrie Bradshaw’s taste. Her debut line of handbags will cost between $245 and $375. Her initial clothing debut will include just one piece–a trench coat. It will sell for $495 and is available in either navy blue or natural.

The actress, who is married to Ferris Bueller star Matthew Broderick, is also a busy mom. She tweeted her excitement over her new fashion line launch.

She shared a fun Instagram photo with her fans as well.

While Sarah Jessica Parker is certainly making headlines as a fashion designer, she also made news recently when talking about the prospect of a third Sex and the City film. She says two of her costars are up for a new movie as well.

“A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell,” Parker said in an interview with InStyle magazine. “But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn’t a decision that can wait forever. I don’t want to have to wear muumuus!”

Kristin Davis played Charlotte on Sex and the City. She had the following to say about a possible third movie.

“I would want to do it,” she said during an interview with ET. “I’m on record — I’ll be on record again — I feel like it’s the gift that keeps on giving. Our fans are beautiful and loyal and talk to me wherever I go, and in whatever country I’m in, and that means a lot to all of us. So if the situation arose where we had a script and everyone loved it, and the studio wanted to make it, I think that it would be fantastic and I hope it happens but I have no idea if it will happen.”

A third Sex and the City film would no doubt thrill fans. Do you suppose Sarah Jessica Parker could arrange for the characters to wear her new line of shoes, handbags and clothing?

  • “Sex And The City” Prequel: Violet Beauregarde Is The New Carrie Bradshaw

The wildly successful HBO series “Sex And The City”–which ended in 2004 and spawned two subsequent films–is now expecting a reboot on The CW that will feature Carrie Bradshaw as a teenager in the ’80s: “The Carrie Diaries”.

Sarah Jessica Parker, whose portrayal of the character Carrie Bradshaw on the original show brought her great success, is in full support of the new show and even wrote her successor, AnnaSophia Robb, a letter of encouragement.

“She sent me a letter! I wrote her one back, too. She was just very encouraging about it all. It was really cool!” gushed Robb, who is best known for the recent film “Soul Surfer” and for her portrayal of Violet Beauregarde in Tim Burton’s 2005 film “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”.

The show, which tells the backstory of Bradshaw during her teen years, will of course tone down the sex for its new generation of viewers and focus more on the drama that comes with the teenage world.

As for Parker, she discusses the possibilty of a third “SATC” movie:

While hardcore fans of the original show don’t seem to be too pleased with the prospect of a prequel that doesn’t include SJP, perhaps it will usher in a new generation of fans.
