  • Caroline Manzo To Return To ‘RHONJ’? Will She Bring Calm Or More Drama?

Real Housewives of New Jersey is rumored to be welcoming back original castmember Caroline Manzo.

According to Hollywood Life, Bravo went to great lengths to secure her return to the series.

With the show’s six season already wrapped up, it’s expected Caroline will appear sometime during season seven.

It’s not certain whether or not Manzo will be a recurring guest star or if she’ll be a full-time part of the cast.

Caroline Manzo does have a Bravo reality series of her own, called Manzo’d With Children.

The extent of Manzo’s involvement in upcoming seasons of RHONJ could depend on the success (or failure) of her own show.

Some might wonder whyBravo reportedly splashed the cash to bring Caroline Manzo back into the fold.

Well, with Teresa Giudice headed to jail, the show is going to need a bit of help ratings wise.

It’s hard to argue that the much publicized Giudice trial and fraud scandal didn’t earn its share of ratings.

With Teresa Giudice gone, the show will have to step up the drama in order to thrive.

Caroline Manzo returning to the Housewives show raises all sorts of questions as to the possible direction of the series.

Fellow former castmate Jacqueline Laurita is also rumored to be coming back to the show.

Both women are feuding with Caroline Manzo’s younger sister Dina.

Dina Manzo and Caroline remain estranged and are not even on speaking terms.

The turbulent relationship between the Manzo sisters and Laurita could factor into the new season.

If Caroline Manzo is coming back to a show, she got away from because it was too negative, it could be that she’s coming back to bring calm and wisdom.

The younger housewives may need someone willing to set a good example so there will be less of this in the future.

Do you think Caroline Manzo would bring calm or additional drama to The Real Housewives of New Jersey?

  • Caroline Manzo Doesn’t Miss ‘Real Houswives’ Show OR Her Former Castmates

Caroline Manzo recently opened up to In Touch Magazine about her time on the series The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

“I don’t miss it,” said the 53-year-old reality television star.

And it isn’t just the fact that Manzo remains estranged from her sister Dina. She said that a major reason she walked away from the Bravo series is that it “stopped being fun”.

“I never liked all the conflict,” said Caroline. “I prefer to peacefully resolve things. When you have an argument just for an argument’s sake, like we did a lot, it’s exhausting.”

But don’t think Manzo is overly opposed to scripted reality television as she traded in Real Housewives for her spin-off Manzo’d With Children.

The Bravo series will wrap up its first season on November 2nd. Coincidentally, Manzo’s show will end the same day we get to witness the first half of a drama-packed Real Housewives Of New Jersey reunion show.

With so many terrible things said behind the backs of every cast member, there’s little doubt that Caroline Manzo is glad she will have no part of the inevitable fallout.

“I didn’t leave on bad terms with anyone, but I don’t hang out with any of them, except Jacqueline [Laurita]. It was more of a working relationship.”

Meanwhile, Manzo’s sister Dina returned to the Housewives series this past season.

Despite reaching out to her older sister Caroline and former friend Jacqueline, both women declined her personal invitation.

It seems that whatever the circumstances of their falling out, the ice has not yet thawed.

As for Caroline Manza, it could be that she’s too busy coping with cheating rumors to think about Dina’s hurt feelings.

The Manzo family is currently weathering gossip that patriarch Al has been less than faithful.

But Caroline Manzo stuck up for her husband.

“I love our marriage,” she told In Touch. “We have a mutual respect for each other and we just have fun.”

  • Caroline Manzo Gets ‘Manzo’d With Children’ in New Bravo Spin-Off

Caroline Manzo isn’t one of the Real Housewives of New Jersey anymore, but her days of reality TV are far from over.

According to E! News, the 52-year-old reality TV star has landed a spin-off with Bravo.

The network recently announced that Manzo’s spin-off, Manzo’d with Children, was ordered to a series. The announcement was made at Bravo’s 2014 upfront presentation.

The new series delves further into the lives of Caroline, her husband Albert, and their sons, Albie and Chris, daughter Lauren and her sister Fran.

The entrepreneur and radio host spoke with E!, sharing her sentiments of the new series. Of course, she and her family are both elated and excited about the next chapter of reality TV tenure.

“It is a very exciting time for me and my family. We are grateful for this opportunity from Bravo and our fans,” Caroline said.

“Expect a lot of smiles, laughs and good times.” The network also released a First Look: Manzo’d with Children segment for the upcoming series, so fans can know what’s to come from the Manzo family.

While Manzo’s exit from the Real Housewives of New Jersey may be bittersweet for fans, she took time to explain her reasons behind the departure on her Bravo blog.

“I’ve always prided myself on being a good example for my children and my decision to leave is based on advice I’ve always given them: ‘Be true to yourself and be proud of who you are, you are born with a name and you die with a name, don’t dirty it up.’ Going back to film another season of Housewives would only make me a hypocrite,” she wrote.

“For me, peace and integrity cannot be bought with money or fame. I practice what I preach, and as I said on the reunion, I’m done. I simply feel that my role has run its course and I have nothing more to give.”

Manzo’d with Children is tentatively scheduled to premiere some time later this year.

  • Caroline Manzo Returning To Bravo With New Series

If there’s two things Bravo loves it’s reality television and housewives from different cities all over the country.

After spending five seasons on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Caroline Manzo left the show in late 2013.

Fans of Manzo need not be depressed, the mother of three is getting her own series, Manzo’d With Children.

The show will follow Manzo, her husband Albert, sons Albie and Chris, daughter Lauren and sister Fran.

In a statement Manzo said, “It is a very exciting time for me and my family. We are grateful for this opportunity from Bravo and our fans. Expect a lot of smiles, laughs and good times.”

Manzo’d With Children was announced at Bravo’s 2014 upfronts, along with a Kandi Burress spinoff, three new projects in development, and the renewal of 15 shows. Manzo’s series doesn’t have a specific release date yet, but will air later this year.

Manzo took to Twitter to announce the show and link to a sneak peek of the upcoming show.

Maybe the show will even enlighten fans on the upcoming nuptials of Manzo’s daughter Lauren to fiance Vito Scalia. Lauren recently celebrated her future with Scalia at an engagement party on Friday at the family-owned Brownstone restaurant.

Friends and fans alike took to Twitter to congratulate Manzo and the rest of her family for the show’s pickup.

  • Caroline Manzo is Leaving “Real Housewives of N.J.”

After five seasons, Caroline Manzo will be leaving the “Real Housewives of New Jersey”. She broke the news to fans via Twitter and her personal blog on Sunday.

In her last Bravo Blog post, Manzo gave the details on why she has made the choice to leave the show, and what her future relationship with Bravo entails.

When we started filming Housewives so long ago, Al made me promise him one thing. He said, ‘Just be yourself and have fun with it.’ I’ve always prided myself on giving you the truth of who I really am, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Over the past few years my outlook on the show has changed from something I couldn’t wait to show my future grandchildren to something I hope my future grandchildren never see. I’ve always prided myself on being a good example for my children and my decision to leave is based on advice I’ve always given them: ‘Be true to yourself and be proud of who you are, you are born with a name and you die with a name, don’t dirty it up.’ Going back to film another season of Housewives would only make me a hypocrite. For me, peace and integrity cannot be bought with money or fame. I practice what I preach, and as I said on the reunion, I’m done. I simply feel that my role has run its course and I have nothing more to give.

Manzo also discussed her spin-off television show that will be appearing on Bravo as well. “I may be leaving Housewives, but my relationship with Bravo will continue as we started production on a pilot, Manzo’d with Children, which if goes to series promises to give the viewers a very different look into the world of the Manzo Family,” she saidWe are having an absolute blast filming it, and I hope you all join us as we start our new chapter within the Bravo newtork. We didn’t close the book, we just turned the page.

Manzo says that she is moving on to a more positive future and letting go of the “pointless drama”. “There comes a time in life when you have to let go of all the pointless drama and the people who create it and surround yourself with people who make you laugh so hard that you forget the bad and focus solely on the good,” Manzo wrote. “After all, life is too short to be anything but happy. Thank you so much for being a part of one of the most amazing experiences of my life.”

  • Theresa Giudice: “Real Housewives” Gets Real Catty

Theresa Giudice and Caroline Manzo, two of the stars of “The Real Housewives Of New Jersey”, have had a long-standing feud basically since the show began, with Giudice making comments in her cookbook about Manzo being “as Italian as an Olive Garden” and Manzo lashing out during family functions. The battle seems to have come to a head, however, as the two found themselves in a confrontation in a recent episode that culminated with Giudice calling Manzo a c**t and Manzo being labeled as a bully.

When Caroline insisted that Theresa had harmful intentions with her cookbook comments, Theresa claimed she was just joking.

“I’m telling the truth. I don’t know how to lie. I never ever, ever, ever wrote one bad thing about you,” she said.

Theresa has apologized to Caroline for the comments in at least one previous episode, which Caroline says was only for the cameras.

“I only got involved when she turned around and said ‘I apologize for the cookbook,’” said Manzo after the episode aired. “The apologies were always for the cameras, for the public reaction. I’m never going to accept it so [she should] shut up already. Just say to me ‘I was so angry about you and I was a bitch.’”

Later, she added, “I am just as Italian as Teresa Giudice, but she has that off-the-boat mentality, to be the best. She has to look down at everyone. If she’s looking up at you, she’s thinking of a way to take you down. I’m arguing with a sociopath. In Teresa’s mind, it’s her rules. She doesn’t give two s–ts.”

The fight has garnered quite a bit of attention on Twitter, where it seems everyone is taking a side.
