  • Cheryl Burke Condemns Body Bullies Who Attacked Her on Facebook

    Cheryl Burke recently condemned those who posted rude comments on her Facebook page after she shared photos of herself in Cabo San Lucas.

    Burke began sharing photos from her trip on July 6. It didn’t take long for the weight-related comments to start.

    When Burke posted a photo captioned “First dinner in Cabos,” one fan commented “Eat something good. You don’t look like Cheryl to me.”

    When Burke, who is known for interacting with fans on social media, replied “I don’t look like me?” several fans jumped to her rescue, but one qualified her compliment by admonishing Burke not to lose more weight.

    The comments only got worse from there, with some accusing Burke of having plastic surgery on her face and one commenter asking “What the heck happened to your lips???”

    “It’s one thing to see negative comments about yourself in the press, it’s another to be criticized by individual people on your own social media pages,” Burke said. “It’s much more personal. It hurts.”

    “I’ve had some time to think about it all and I’ve found strength in just letting it go. I can’t let myself get hurt by it. I also can’t shut down and not post anything online,” she continued. “There are all different types of people out there who are going to say all kinds of things, online and in real life. The important thing is to know which ones to listen to.”

    It’s not the first time Burke has spoken out about public criticism of her weight. In May she posted a defense of her weight loss on Facebook following an appearance in People’s “Most Talked About Bodies” issue.

    Burke posed in a bikini for the spread, revealing she’d went from 135 pounds to around 120.

    Besides eating smaller portions of healthier food, Burke said morning workouts with friend and neighbor Leah Remini have contributed to her slimmer, more defined figure.

    Burke, 30, was the first female professional dancer to win Dancing with the Stars and the first professional to win two consecutive seasons. She won season two with dance partner Drew Lachey of 98 Degrees and followed up with a season three win when she partnered with retired football player Emmitt Smith.

    Burke has danced every ensuing season of the show. Season 19 is set to premiere on ABC in the fall. Cast members haven’t been officially announced.

  • Lauren Conrad: Bachelorette Fun and a Glitch

    Lauren Conrad celebrated her bachelorette weekend in Cabo San Lucas, with BFF Lo Bosworth along for the ride. Engaged to marry former Something Corporate guitarist and now-law student William Tell, the former star of The Hills, fashion designer, and best-selling author and Bosworth, along with four other girlfriends enjoyed the sun, the surf, the sand, and probably more than a few cocktails.

    What happens in Cabo doesn’t stay in Cabo, however, at least not when the members of the bachelorette fun post photos in Instagram. Both Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth shared photos of their weekend festivities. And what happens in Cabo doesn’t stay in Cabo when the bride-to-be feels like people aren’t being treated fairly either.

    “Good morning… #DontTellMrTell,” this first post was captioned.

    This next one was captioned “tres amigas,” and once again included the hashtag #DontTellMrTell.

    Lo Bosworth shared a photo of the entire group, with Lauren Conrad sporting a giant white bow made of tulle.

    That one reads, “Last night,” and of course #DontTellMrTell.”

    Lauren Conrad and William Tell became engaged last October following a surprise proposal.

    “I had no idea it was coming,” Conrad said this past January during an interview with Cosmo. “He didn’t even ask my friends [about the ring], which was a bold move. He said, ‘I know you, and I know what you like.’ And I love it. It’s perfect.”

    On a more serious note, during her time in Cabo Lauren Conrad–who is a big supporter of same-sex relationships and marriages–ran into a most unpleasant encounter and tweeted about it to her followers. The restaurant where the group was partying during one evening of her bachelorette bash wouldn’t allow same-sex couples to take part in the games, so Conrad walked out, refusing to support such an establishment.

    One of the best memories and Instagram photos from Conrad’s bachelorette weekend, posted by Lo Bosworth, featured tattooed wrists. Captioned “New ink,” the meaning behind them certainly says a lot about the fun these ladies enjoyed in Cabo San Lucas.

    Lauren Conrad no doubt had a fun-filled weekend with her BFFs. It’s said that she and William Tell will be tying the knot some time this coming fall. That said, there’s plenty of time left to celebrate her single status for a while yet. Maybe there’s another getaway planned before summer’s through–and you can be sure it will be somewhere where all are welcome regardless of their sexual orientation.

  • Justin Theroux and Fiancee Party With George Clooney

    Justin Theroux and fiancee Jennifer Aniston were spotted in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, partying it up with none other than George Clooney. The couple attended an invitation-only event celebrating George Clooney’s own tequila brand, Casamigos Tequila, on Sunday. They were in good company, too. Other invited guests included Rande Gerber, who is a Casamigos partner, Cindy Crawford–Gerber’s wife, and other celebrities including Howard Stern and Jimmy Kimmel.

    A tequila tasting was held at George’s–Clooney’s club, which happens to be right next door to Casa Rande–a similar space owned by Rande Gerber. It’s easy to tell what these guys like to do when they’re in Cabo. Do you think alcohol has anything to do with their normal activities?

    This weekend was a special one, however, with Clooney’s new tequila brand being introduced for the first time. George Clooney has been in Cabo for a few weeks now.

    “George got down to Cabo around Christmas and had a party a couple days before the new year at his home. It was an intimate dinner with close family and friends,” a source shared.

    Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston arrived around the same time, and have entertained celebrity guests like Jen’s BFF, Courteney Cox.

    Since George Clooney and Rande Gerber are into this new tequila venture together, a new ad has been created to advertise the brand. In it Clooney and Gerber’s wife Cindy Crawford are featured, under the covers in bed together.

    Oh, what fun comes from tequila and Cabo–especially when you hang out with Justin Theroux, Jennifer Aniston and George Clooney. Can you imagine the exciting weekend this group of friends no doubt had?

  • Jennifer Aniston Vacations in Cabo with Celeb Friends

    Jennifer Aniston’s seemed to escape the cold December chils for a much warmer Mexican climate. The 44-year-old star and her fiancé Justin Theroux soaked up the sun (and eachother) on their recent tropical vacation.

    The happy couple took a private jet to Cabo San Lucas where they checked into a private beachfront home. The lovenest cost $9,500 a night including a private chef, butler and a personal masseuse. When they’re not being pampered by the staff, the two can workout in their very own private gym.

    The cute couple isn’t alone on this vacation, hanging with famous pals Courteney Cox, Howard Stern and his wife Beth Ostrosky, and newlyweds Jimmy Kimmel and Molly McNearny.

    Accoring to an E! eyewittness “Jen has also spent a lot of time with Courteney, working out with her, and swimming in the pool. They seem to be the best friends they have been for years, always chatting and laughing together.”

  • Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston Flaunt Hot Bikini Bods in Mexico

    Some are just blessed with great genes, and it’s quite obvious actresses Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston are among the lucky ones!

    On Saturday, Dec. 28, the Scream actress and Aniston enjoyed some rest and relaxation along the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

    Not only do the two share a great sense of camaraderie that dates back more than 10 years, but they also share a kindred fashion sense.

    The Friends co-stars both donned swimwear with shades of purple, showing off their impressive bodies. The two are definitely a prime example of those who don’t seem to age!

    Cox, 49, wore a two-piece swimsuit of a darker shade of purple, while Aniston, 44, went for a lighter look, choosing a lavendar colored bathing suit.

    E! News reports that Aniston’s fiance’ Justin Theroux, 42, later joined the actresses to enjoy the sunshine.

    According to US Weekly, the happy couple arrived in Cabo on Friday, Dec. 27 by private jet. The two were accompanied by popular late night television host Jimmy Kimmel, his wife Molly McNearney and her friend Meilani Weiss.

    However, the fun didn’t stop there as the star-studded crowd only grew in numbers. The vacationers were later joined by Howard Stern and his wife Beth Ostrosky.

    The celebrity couples are reportedly staying at the same luxury resort for their impromptu vacation. It is also rumored they’ll all be bringing in 2014 together, celebrating the New Year holiday in Mexico.

    Although Friends ended almost 10 years ago, the cancellation of the hit show obviously had no bearing on the future of Cox and Aniston’s friendship. The two have always maintained a close relationship. Aniston is also the godmother of Cox’s daughter, Coco Arquette, whom she had with her ex-husband, actor David Arquette. Arquette and Cox finalized their divorce in May of 2013.

    Cox is currently on the ABC sitcom Cougar Town.
