  • Leonardo DiCaprio Takes Home Best Actor Award at BAFTAs

Leonardo DiCaprio is having quite a year where awards and nominations are concerned. This weekend he was named best actor at the BAFTAs in London for his role in The Revenant.

During his acceptance speech at London’s Royal Opera House, Leonardo DiCaprio thanked his mother, as well as others in the business.

“As an actor I’ve been influenced by so many British actors. I want to thank one particular British actor and that is Mr Tom Hardy,” he said.

“Of course, Alejandro, thank you for becoming a great friend,” he added, lauding the director of The Revenant, Alejandro G. Inarritu.

Leonardo DiCaprio beat out Brit Eddie Redmayne, who was nominated for his role in The Danish Girl. He also beat out Michael Fassbender, Matt Damon, and Bryan Cranston.

The award for best actor wasn’t DiCaprio’s only honor at the BAFTAs. His film, The Revenant, was named best film, with Alejandro G. Inarritu receiving the award for best director.

Leonardo DiCaprio was a big winner at last month’s Golden Globes, too, and is favored to win big at the upcoming Oscars.

Have you yet checked out The Revenant, starring Leonardo DiCaprio? If so, it likely doesn’t surprise you to learn he is winning all these prestigious awards.

  • Jennifer Garner To Star in ‘Wakefield’ with Bryan Cranston

Jennifer Garner will star opposite Bryan Cranston in the upcoming drama Wakefield. Garner will play Cranston’s wife.

The story involves “a man’s nervous breakdown” which “causes him to leave his wife and live in his attic for several months.”

The movie is based on a short story of the same name by E. L. Doctorow, which in turn is a retelling of an 1837 short story by Scarlet Letter author Nathaniel Hawthorne.

Robin Swicord is both penning the script and directing. Swicord wrote the screenplays for The Jane Austen Book Club, Memoirs of a Geisha, Practical Magic, and Matilda.

Here’s a longer synopsis from Variety:

[Cranston] will play a married Manhattan lawyer who sees a raccoon in the attic of his home and winds up staying in the attic for several months due to a nervous breakdown. He also said his character will become romantically involved with a younger woman at some point in the story.

Cranston’s character will depart his family after being left stranded and recalling a fight he had with his wife the previous night. When he arrives at home, he decides not to enter his house but instead climbs the stairs of his carriage house-turned-garage up to the attic space — and lives there for the next nine months, emerging only at night and rummaging through trash cans for food while watching his family adjust to life without him much faster than he expects.

Garner was recently seen in the trailer for the upcoming drama Miracles from Heaven.

  • Bryan Cranston Has James Franco Freaking Out

Bryan Cranston has had a long and successful career, from his time on Seinfeld as the scene-stealing dentist to his role on Malcolm In The Middle as the well-meaning, hairy dad. But it was his portrayal of a cancer-stricken family man on Breaking Bad that captured the hearts and minds of a nation, and it’s for this reason that James Franco is currently acting like a huge fanboy.

Franco took to Instagram this week to announce the news that he and Cranston will be starring together in Why Him?, a comedy about a loving dad who takes a road trip to see his daughter only to find out she’s gotten involved with a guy who will compete for his attention. James captioned a photo of himself with Cranston in the only way a true fan would.

“Could not be more excited to work with my man, WALTER WHITE!!!!” Franco wrote.

James Franco also posted to social media this week about his brother, Dave, who got engaged to actress Allison Brie this month. Dave is an actor as well and saw recent success with the Seth Rogen film Neighbors, in which he played a slightly lost frat boy.

Congrats Davy and Allison!!! engaged!!! I WUUUUUV YOU

A photo posted by James Franco (@jamesfrancotv) on

Bryan Cranston made headlines earlier this month when he appeared on The Nerdist podcast and talked politics, saying he thinks GOP candidate Donald Trump is “refreshing”.

“I actually like his candor. ‘You’re an idiot. I’m a winner, you’re a loser,’” Bryan Cranston said. “There’s something so refreshing about shaking up that world that is all about being handled and here comes this loose cannon who has terrible ideas and would be a horrible president, but there’s something great about his ‘I-don’t-give-a-shit’ attitude that really kind of keeps others honest. I think it’s a surprise benefit to the country, actually.”

  • Anna Gunn: ‘Breaking Bad’ Star Joins Gary Sinise in ‘Criminal Minds’ Spinoff

Anna Gunn of Breaking Bad fame is set to join former CSI: New York star Gary Sinise in a new Criminal Minds spinoff. The new show will focus on American citizens abroad, and like Criminal Minds, will feature a team of FBI psychological profilers.

Known for her role on Breaking Bad as Walter White’s (played by Bryan Cranston) wife, Anna Gunn will play international lawyer Ally Lambert alongside Gary Sinise’s Jack Garrett, the profiling team’s leader and FBI 20-year veteran.

The storyline for the spinoff will begin during an episode of Criminal Minds, set to film some time next month.

Erica Messer, the showrunner for Criminal Minds, is writing the script for the spinoff. She is also executive-producing with Mark Gordon and Nick Pepper. The project, which is still in its development phase, will be produced by ABC Studios, CBS Television Studios and The Mark Gordon Company.

Walking Dead star Tyler James Williams has reportedly also signed on for the spinoff.

In addition to Breaking Bad, for which she won two Emmy Awards, Anna Gunn has appeared in The Mindy Project and Gracepoint.

  • Bryan Cranston Tells Kids ‘You Have to F––king Eat’

Over three years ago, author Adam Mansbach tackled a common problem for parents with his landmark childrens book for adults, Go The Fuck to Sleep. The book itself was great, but it was propelled to viral success by its audiobook – which featured actor and legendary purveyor of the word “f–ck” Samuel L. Jackson.

Now Mansbach is back with his follow-up, which tackles another problem of child-rearing – getting your kids to eat.

It’s called You Have to Fucking Eat, and once again, its accompanying audiobook is destined to please. Walter White himself, Bryan Cranston, lends his voice to the cause.

“Mansbach’s long-awaited sequel is about that other great parental frustration: getting your little angel to eat something that even vaguely resembles a normal meal. Profane, loving, and deeply cathartic, You Have to F–king Eat breaks the code of child-rearing silence, giving moms and dads (new, old, grand-, and expectant) a much-needed chance to laugh about a universal problem.”

You can listen to the whole thing here. The audiobook is free via Audible until December 12.

  • Julia Louis-Dreyfus Engages In 11-Second Lip-Lock Before Accepting Emmy Award

For the third year in a row, Julia Louis-Dreyfus brought home the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. This is no surprise to most of us who have loved her since Elaine Benes in Seinfeld, or those who remember her from SNL before that.

Officially America’s new queen of television comedy, Louis-Dreyfus now broke the record previously held by -none other than- Lucille Ball, by being nominated 15 times for acting in comedies. (JLD has three other nominations as a producer). She also made history for being the first actress to ever win five Emmys for three different series.

More surprising than her Emmy award for her role as Veep’s Selina Meyer was the gag she and her co-presenter Bryan Cranston planned, and executed, which concluded in an intensely passionate kiss.

The Breaking Bad actor was co-presenting with Louis-Dreyfus earlier in the telecast where he mentioned the time he played her love interest in an episode of Seinfeld. He guest starred as a joke-loving dentist who once kissed her character Elaine. Louis-Dreyfus claimed not to remember the episode.

As a reminder, he later cut the actress off on her way up to receive her Emmy with an 11-second kiss.

“Well, I think it’s not a question of why, but more a question of why not?” Cranston later jokingly remarked.

Reporters backstage also learned how Louis-Dreyfus carefully planned the gag:

“…I asked my husband if he was OK with that and he said sure and Bryan checked with his wife and she said sure. … Obviously, I might not have won. That was very stiff competition. So we worked it so that the presenting stuff would hopefully have worked on its own.”

Elsewhere on Twitter, VP Joe Biden was quick to send his congratulations for Louis-Dreyfus’ win too:

“Congrats @OfficialJLD. A fellow Veep with a great sense of humor, and a good friend. #Emmys,”

The comedianne however, was quick to correct his slip. “Actually I’m the president now. But thx!” she tweetted back, as a reminder that Meyer has been promoted to the Oval Office at the close of this latest season.

  • Bryan Cranston And Aaron Paul Star In An Emmy Video

    Scroll down for the video.

Welp, here it is, our two favorite television actors in the last seven years making a little tongue-in-cheek joke about History Channel’s reality TV-show Pawn Stars.

Though they don’t return as their iconic characters – Jesse Pinkman and Walter White – both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul reunite with their dynamic acting chemistry, and it’s just as good as you’d imagine. Julia Louis-Dreyfus (the third Emmy winner in this little clip) also stars in the skit.

Cranston plays a decked out Elvis-glasses-wearing stereotypical southern business man named Buzz Jackson while Paul works as his saggy overall-wearing trucker hat partner (or son?) Randy Jackson. They both run a business that isn’t so much an illegal empire of manufacturing and distributing blue crystal meth, but instead, a little pawnshop called Barely Legal. Louis-Dreyfus (playing herself), recently made a drunken impulse buy for a private island triggered by Celine Dion envy and needs to drum up some dough by trying to sell her 1996 Emmy (for playing Elaine on Seinfeld) for Best Supporting Actor. Both goofballs, Cranston and Paul, make nods to both the Emmys and Breaking Bad, but we won’t spoil that for you, just watch the damn thing.

The comedic short from Audi sets up for next Monday’s Emmy Awards – it was produced by PMK-BNC and written and directed by Paulilu, the same guys who made the Dollar Shave Club’s viral launch video and last year’s Spock vs. Spock Audi ad starring Zachary Quinto and Leonard Nimoy.

“We knew we had a great concept, a winning team and a client, Audi, who understood the value of this type of content,” says Joseph Assad, executive producer at PMK-BNC. “We flew in face of convention by putting out a video at six minutes, but with the high-caliber acting and the quality of the idea, we knew we could push some boundaries.”

There’s an episode of Pawn Stars where a man named David actually tried selling Ronald Dunbar & General Johnson’s Best Rhythm & Blues Song – 1970 “Patches Grammy Award. David ended up selling the thing for $2,350.

    “Well hello there mamasita.”

  • Breaking Bad Cast Return To Spinoff Better Call Saul

To those who can’t listen to Badfinger’s “Baby Blue” without weeping into that pile of meth you bought for sentimental reasons, I have wonderful news: Better Call Saul, AMC’s spinoff of Breaking Bad starring Bob Odenkirk as Saul Goodman, may include Walter White story-lines.

However, they will likely take place in the halcyon days of yore, aka before White turned into America’s favorite dad/drug dealer and was just a high school teacher getting annual subpar b-day handjobs and praying for the end.

“One of the great things about having a time line which is flexible is that perhaps some of it takes place before Breaking Bad, during Breaking Bad, and after Breaking Bad. That gives us the ability to bring back characters that were killed on Breaking Bad,” said executive producer Peter Gould in the most baiting statement I have ever heard, ever.

The show takes place in 2002, six years before Goodman becomes involved with White’s antics, and will also jump between several decades including timelines both before and after White’s death. But White will not be the focus of the show.

“We’re trying to make something that stands on its own that has an entertainment value that is not just about seeing a series of old favorites. It’s not the series equivalent of a clip show. We’re trying to balance these things out” said Gould (“Are you or are you not bringing Walter White back to us, sir,” retorted my inner crybaby).

Whether or not White is returning, the fact that that the show creators used “What problem does Saul Goodman solve?” as a writing prompt is reason enough for me to tune in. Not that the show needs fans to increase chances of getting picked up for a second season — AMC ordered season two before season one has a premiere date more solid than “early 2015.”

And now, just because I can stand to watch knowing I may get another chance to love and hate Walter White:

  • Breaking Bad Spins Off To Better Call Saul and One Man Show

The acclaimed Breaking Bad, better known as AMC’s Breaking Bad, has not only achieved its own official spin off titled Better Call Saul but its own fringe festival one man show, One Man Breaking Bad.

The sixty minute play will be performed in August at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The official description for this play reads as follows:

Sixty Episodes in 60 Minutes. One Man Breaking Bad. See your iconic favourites come to life: Walt, Jesse, Saul, Skyler, Hank, Walt Junior, Mike and Gus Fring! LA actor Miles Allen has had over a million hits on YouTube, displaying both his acting and his incredible mimicking abilities. See him in Edinburgh after the sell out Melbourne Comedy Festival season of the world premiere of this incredible tour de force.

The tour de force currently has nine likes on Facebook.

“I realized that there was still this huge hole in Breaking Bad fans’ hearts and in mine when the show had ended,” the man behind this madness, Miles Allen, explained according to The Hollywood Reporter, We’re like addicted to it, as Jesse and Walt’s customers were to their meth, and so the natural progression for me was packaging it as this huge fanboy love letter for the fans.”

As for the official spin-off, Better Call Saul, the New York Daily News found out a few facts for us. Namely, it will take place before, during and after the events of Breaking Bad. “One of the great things about having a timeline which is flexible is that perhaps some of it takes place before Breaking Bad, during Breaking Bad, and after Breaking Bad,” Executive Producer Peter Gould said. “That gives us the ability to bring back characters that were killed on Breaking Bad.”

It might even feature Bryan Cranston.

If you want a taste of the spin off, a few promotional videos have been published online since September.

  • Godzilla Box Office Surprises at $93M

Godzilla Box Office Surprises at $93M

Godzilla, Legendary and Warner Bros’s new take on the classic 1950’s Japanese monster film, opened at No. 1 this weekend with a whopping $93 million in box office sales. This number easily passes the prediction of $76 million by BoxOffice.com and critics alike. The film stars Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston, a plant worker who believes that the quarantined, supposedly radioactive Japanese town is really hiding something much, much larger.

Godzilla is the second biggest opening of 2014, only behind Captain America’s $95 million. (The Amazing Spider-Man 2 takes third with $91 million.) It takes the record for 6th biggest debut weekend for a non-sequel, and it’s Warner Bros largest May debut ever. And unlike big budget pics like Spiderman’s $250m, Godzilla took $160m to make, a number it’s likely to make back before it leaves theaters.

What made the movie work so well? “The tone of the movie was effectively communicated through the marketing,” said Jon Jashni, Legendary’s president. Legendary paid for 75% of the movie and Warner Bros put in 25%, but they collaborated equally on marketing. “Thomas Tull and his [Legendary] team did an incredible job and have delivered a new franchise,” said Warners president Dan Fellman. It’s being rumored that the two movie studios are already working on the sequel. “If this comes out and works well, we’ll figure it out,” Legendary’s Tull said at a May 1 screening of the film in Hollywood.

Sony’s 1998 take at Godzilla, starring Matthew Broderick, did $136m domestically and $380m worldwide. Looks like this version, 15 years later, will far surpass that with not only effective marketing, but 3D ticket sales – which accounted for 51% of Godzilla’s gross sales. The visually stunning effects make it a must-see IMAX experience for any movie-goer.

“It’s just the ultimate monster movie,” says director Gareth Edwards about Godzilla’s appeal. And others agree: the film has a 72% on Rotten Tomatoes and is overall being received well; Variety film critic Peter DeBruge says that director Edwards manages to “make good on his ability to conjure enormous scope and scale via clever staging and visual effects.”

  • Bryan Cranston Nabs Tony Nomination

Bryan Cranston won an Emmy, a Golden Globe, and a Screen Actor’s Guild Award for his performance as chemistry teacher turned meth king Walter White in the AMC drama Breaking Bad. Now, the actor has the opportunity to add a Tony Award to his list of accolades.

The 58-year-old actor was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play for his performance as President Lyndon B. Johnson in the production All the Way, which is currently running at the Neil Simon Theatre on Broadway. The play was also nominated for Best Play.

Cranston’s competition includes: Chris O’Dowd (Of Mice and Men), Samuel Barnett (Twelfth Night), Tony Shalhoub (Act One), and Mark Rylance (Richard III).

The reviews for Cranston’s turn as President Johnson have been predominantly positive. Peter Marks of The Washington Post wrote, “Portraying America’s 36th chief executive, Lyndon Baines Johnson, in Robert Schenkkan’s democratic procedural drama “All the Way,” Cranston proves so effortlessly captivating that you could imagine pulling a lever for him — or even contributing generously to whatever campaign war chest he trots out.”

The synopsis for All the Way:

1963. An assassin’s bullet catapults Lyndon Baines Johnson into the presidency. A Shakespearean figure of towering ambition and appetite, the charismatic, conflicted Texan hurls himself into Civil Rights legislation, throwing the country into turmoil. Alternately bullying and beguiling, he enacts major social programs, faces down opponents and wins the 1964 election in a landslide. But in faraway Vietnam, a troublesome conflict looms.

Lucy Liu and Jonathan Groff announced the nominations on Tuesday morning. You can check out the full list of contenders at the Tony Awards Official Website.

The award ceremony will be hosted by renowned song and dance guru and A-List Hollywood star Hugh Jackman. The show will air on Sunday, June 8 at 8/7c on CBS.

  • Bryan Cranston to Pen Memoir on Breaking Bad Years, Craft of Acting

In books that I absolutely cannot wait to read news, Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston is going to write a memoir that focuses, in large part, on the six years he spent filming Breaking Bad.

“Walter White taught me a lot—some of it useful, some of it dangerous,” said Cranston. “With this book, I want to tell the stories of my life and reveal the secrets and lies that I lived with for six years shooting Breaking Bad.”

Secrets and lies? Do tell, Mr. White.

Publisher Scribner (a Simon & Schuster imprint), says that there will be other components to the memoir other than the making of Breaking Bad–but it’s clear that the groundbreaking AMC show will be a main focus.

“Cranston will trace the remarkable career of an actor who worked as a journeyman for many years and—through talent, tenacity, and luck—landed a role that transformed his life. A deeply candid work, Cranston’s memoir will offer fascinating insights into his early years, the craft of acting, and his experiences on the landmark series Breaking Bad,” they say.

Cranston hasn’t yet tweeted about the new book, but he has discussed his nervousness in regards to opening on Broadway. Cranston is currently playing President Lyndon B. Johnson in the play All the Way.

Clearly a man of many talents, I can’t wait to read this book. Yeah, bitch!

  • Godzilla Roars And Bryan Cranston Panics In New Movie Trailer

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for Godzilla in which fans get to hear the monstrous roar and see Bryan Cranston freak out.

The movie’s second trailer debuted online on Tuesday, and shows why “Godzilla” is synonymous with destruction and mayhem. The trailer gives viewers sweeping shots of the smoldering city, a skyline covered in smoke, falling sky jumpers, a gargantuan rising tide, and people running for their lives.

The highlight of the trailer is Cranston, as scientist Joe Brody, shaking and seething amidst the widespread destruction. “It wasn’t an earthquake…What’s really happening is that you’re hiding something out there,” he accuses the government, “and it’s going to send us back to  the Stone Age!”

What did the government do now, and what are they hiding?

The trailer reveals that in 1954, the same year as the original Japanese movie, the nuclear tests being conducted by the United States military in the Pacific were not tests at all. They were actually trying to kill the monster, to no avail. The nuclear blasts just served to annoy the beast instead of inflicting damage.

It appears that the people were being told that the recent rumblings and catastrophes were caused by a typhoon, or probably an earthquake, or some other natural disaster. Brody, of course, had the gut feel that it wasn’t so, with the state of devastation he’d seen. Thus Brody’s panicked outburst.

And how could he not, when Godzilla looks to be stronger and more impenetrable than ever? Ken Watanabe, who plays a Japanese scientist, gravely says that man’s arrogance is in thinking that nature is within our control, “And not the other way around.”

Director Gareth Edwards shows viewers glimpses of the monster of all monsters, but is careful not to show Godzilla’s whole body yet. Fans will have to wait until the movie is released on May 16, but for now everyone can see Godzilla’s spiky reptilian back and his chops, bared in a horrific roar.

  • Breaking Bad Snags Multiple Golden Globe Nominations

Breaking Bad just finished its five-year run, and as one of the most popular television shows of all time, it is no wonder that the show received all of the television nominations that it could get at the Golden Globe Awards. The fan favorite aired on AMC, and it is the only show from the channel that also includes hit shows The Wakling Dead and Mad Men, to get a nomination.

The Golden Globes have several surprises in terms of shows that are nominated this year, although everyone knew that Breaking Bad would come up big when the Golden Globe nominations were announced. Breaking Bad was very popular in its final season especially, after all of its fans were able to catch up, and had one of the best series finales in history.

The nominations were announced this morning for the show that honors the top performers in both film and television. The full list of nominees can be seen here, with Breaking Bad leading the pack, along with The Big Bang Theory, and the Netflix original, House Of Cards.

With the success of House Of Cards, among others, Neflix was able to earn six nominations for this year’s award show, second to only HBO, which tends to dominated TV cateogries.

Breaking Bad also came away with similar results when it came to the nominations at the SAG Awards, which were released yesterday. 30 Rock is also a big contender this year, despite only airing a few of its episode this year.

In terms of films at this year’s Golden Globes, American Hustle and 12 Years A Slave will be leading the way with seven nominations each.

Breaking Bad features an outstanding cast that was also nominated for the Best Ensemble category in the SAG Awards, and the show received Golden Globe nominations for Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, and Best Television Series-Drama. Coming off of the success of Breaking Bad, Aaron Paul also recently got a new gig accompanying a talking horse in an animated Netflix original show called BoJack Horseman.

While it is nominated for everything else, the surprising snub for the show is the fact that Anna Gunn, who played Skylar White, was not nominated for her performance. One of the other biggest snubs is certainly completely leaving out both HBO hit Game of Thrones and Showtime’s Homeland.

It is no surprise that Breaking Bad has snagged more nominations than other television show after becoming Netflix’s most popular show, being ranked far ahead of its original shows House Of Cards, and Orange Is The New Black, which was surprisingly left out of the Golden Globes ceremony in the Best Television Series-Drama category.

Breaking Bad leads the pack of television shows, in a very competitive year that saw Netflix change the way people watch television more than before with its own original shows. Tune in on Sunday, January 12th in order to see who will win.

  • Godzilla Trailer: A Godzilla Remake Is Coming Soon-See The Trailer [Video]

The official trailer for the new Godzilla film has finally arrived. It is filled with excitement and promise as an exciting remake, but do audiences really need another remake of a film like Godzilla?

The trailer was released earlier today after it was announced that it would be leaked online in anticipation of the new, big-budget film. The dangerous monster known for attacking Japan has not been seen on the big screen since 1998, when the giant monster became a craze once again.

Due to all of the technological advancements that have been made since the last production of Godzilla, this film will certainly be much different than all of those that came before it. Audiences will now be able to see a futuristic film with tons of special effects like never before, and a healthy dose of quality actors along for the ride as well.

The 1998 version was a bit of a disappointment, but perhaps the new film will be able to revive the franchise, and become a big hit at the box office. Fans of the beloved monster are fearing for the worst with the next film, but it could surprise people. While the trailer does not offer much in the way of plot, it is clear that Godzilla has had enough of Japan, and has decided to destroy San Francisco instead.

The film features a cast of some of the hottest actors around that is sure to lure some people in. It includes Bryan Cranston, who is just coming off of the end of the beloved Breaking Bad, Aaron Taylor-Johnson from Kickass, Elizabeth Olsen, who has appeared in several films over the past couple of years, and Sally Hawkins, who was just seen in Blue Jasmine.

In addition, veteran actors David Strathairn and Juliette Binoche are involved in the epic ensemble cast that should work wonders to draw in audiences.

Godzilla will be wreaking havoc on the world starting with its release date on May 16, 2014.

  • Godzilla! Trailer Released Online Now

    Godzilla! Trailer Released Online Now

As promised earlier, the official trailer for the 2014 release of Godzilla was released less than an hour ago. The trailer itself is a wild ride and leaves you wanting more.

Though only brief images of the monster itself is seen in this trailer, the mass destruction and sounds affects say it all, accompanied by dramatic shots of the film’s stars.

The opening shot of the trailer shows an unidentified leader (David Strathairn) speaking to his troops whose job it is to take down the monster.

“I realize not all of you have had hands on experience,” he says. “Frankly, none of us have ever faced a situation quite like this one before. I would not be asking any one of you to take this leap if I did not have complete faith in your ability to succeed. Your courage will never be more needed than it is today.”

The film boasts an unbelievable cast, according to Hypable. Bryan Cranston, recently coming off of the hit series “Breaking Bad” makes everything better and having him in a lead role of a loved franchise is near perfect.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is also part of the star-studded cast, an actor who is mostly known for his role in the Kick-Ass movies, as well as Elizabeth Olsen, who will be pairing up with Aaron in the upcoming “Avengers: The Age of Ultron.”

Other highly notable cast members include Juliette Binoche, of “Chocolat” fame, and Ken Watanabe from “Batman Begins” and “Inception.”

The film is being produced by Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros and is set for release on May 16, 2014.

In 1954, Gojira, the first movie in the Godzilla series, was released. 2014 will be the 60 year anniversary, making it a perfect time for the reboot.

  • Breaking Bad Alternate Ending: Was It All A Dream? [Video]

Well, Breaking Bad ended its five-year run about a month ago, but that certainly has not stopped its fans from talking about the historic ending to the show, and how things could have gone differently. For those fans that have been wanting more, a DVD set of the hit show is being released, and a hilarious alternate ending to the show has already been released.

The video of the Breaking Bad alternate ending was leaked to the internet over the weekend, but was later taken down by Sony, in an effort to get people to actually buy the DVD. Ironically, the alternate ending that we are presented with is something that fans of the show have been joking abotu for a long time.

The alternate ending that is present on the DVD box is a theory that we have all come to wonder about, and discuss involving Bryan Cranston’s infamous character of Walter White. The ending shows him becoming his character of Hal on Malcolm In The Middle, a sitcom which aired on FOX from 2002 until 2006, and pretends as if the past five seasons of Breaking Bad have all simply been a dream for Hal.

The video has been removed from Youtube due to copyright infringement, but can still be seen here.

The way the ending was done was also a homage to The Bob Newhart Show, showing him wake up in bed as Hal, after being freaked out about the dream in which he was a meth dealer. He then tells his wife Lois, played by Jane Kaczmarek, the whole story featuring hilarious descriptions of Hank, Jesse and his marriage to a tall, blonde woman.

Well, not quite…but this would have been interesting too.

It was special for fans of Malcolm In The Middle to see him reprise his role, but unfortunately for some, the creator of Breaking Bad, Vince Gillian said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that the alternate ending was a complete joke, and that the show Breaking Bad‘s plot definitely did happen.

For those wanting to relive all of their favorite moments of the final season, and see the extras included in the DVD box set, including the hilarious Breaking Bad alternate ending, it will be available on November 26.
