  • Brad Pitt, Jolie Together Again on the Big Screen

While Angelina Jolie is preparing to open Meleficent, the film based off of the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale, another on-screen romance is in the works.

Jolie, along with her husband and partner Brad Pitt, is said to be in the early talks of an original script she has written which would star the famous Hollywood couple.

The two were first seen together in Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2005. Incidentally, although Pitt was in divorce proceedings with Jennifer Aniston and vehemently denies adultery, this was the beginning of their relationship. Pitt later admitted that he “fell in love” with Jolie on the set of the film.

“To be intimate with a married man, when my own father cheated on my mother, is not something I could forgive,” Jolie said in 2005. “I could not look at myself in the morning if I did that. I wouldn’t be attracted to a man who would cheat on his wife.”

The couple, dubbed “Brangelina” by the media, became engaged in April 2012 after seven years – and six children, three of which are adopted – together.

This new film wouldn’t be the first time Jolie has penned a script for the big screen. In 2011, the 38-year old wrote and directed In the Land of Blood and Honey. Jolie is also currently finishing up Unbroken, an adaption of the Laura Hillenbrand book that she directed. Unbroken is scheduled for release on December 25.

50-year old Pitt is coming off of the success of 12 Years a Slave, an Academy Award-winning film which he produced, and is wrapping up his role in David Ayer’s WWII film, Fury, also starring Shia LaBeouf, Scott Eastwood, and Michael Pena. Fury is set to be released on November 14.

Details about Pitt and Jolie’s film are unknown, but insiders speculate that it could be a relationship drama that Jolie wrote several years ago, centering on a struggling couple who take a vacation in a last-ditch effort to save their marriage.

Pitt and Jolie have a rule that they don’t work on a film at the same time so one of them can stay home with the kids. However, working together on the same film might be a way to get around that.

  • Jason Priestley Dishes on Brad Pitt, Shannon Doherty

In a new memoir by Jason Priestley, the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star recounts his years as a teen idol and the pitfalls of Hollywood superstardom.

Priestley and costars Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, and Luke Perry became instant megastars with the success of the 1990s Aaron Spelling prime time soap, and the 44-year-old actor spilled the beans on his famous friends and their experiences in his upcoming book, Jason Priestley: A Memoir, due out May 6.

Priestley reminded fans in his book that Priestley’s on-screen sister Doherty had a reputation for being a bad girl on set. Doherty wouldn’t be shocked at the revelation since she has admitted it herself.

Although she’s friends with Priestley and many of her costars now, Priestly remembers an incident that didn’t make the best impression back in 1990. FOX executives apparently sent a private jet to whisk Priestly and Doherty off to New York City for a meeting with advertisers and little Miss Thing had a few things to say about the accommodations.

“I could not believe my ears at Shannen’s very first words after she boarded,” Priestley recalls in his book. “Her butt had barely hit her seat before she said loudly to the PR person, ‘Really? A town car? You send a town car to take me to the airport, not a limo?’ She sighed a very put-upon sigh. I laughed, as I couldn’t really tell if Shannen was kidding or not.”

“But that was just the beginning. I looked on, becoming more uneasy by the minute as she began bitching about the short notice and the food on board and the temperature in the cabin and everything else,” he added.

Priestley also recounts his experiences as Brad Pitt‘s roommate when the budding stars shared an apartment in L.A. back in 1987.

“Just for fun, we used to have competitions over who could go the longest without showering and shaving,” Priestley writes. “Brad always won. Having to go on an audition meant cleaning up, which is what usually put an end to the streak.”

  • Angelina Jolie Prepares For Oscars, Keeps Quiet About Brad

Angelina Jolie is back on the Oscar stage this year, and this time as a presenter. The actress kept it simple and lighthearted this weekend during rehearsals for the big show, joking about her infamous leg bare from the 2012 Oscars. As she finished reading her lines, Jolie joked, “and then I go like this,” thrusting out her leg with a laugh.

Although Jolie did her rehearsal in a sweatshirt and leggings, she smartly chose to pair it with heels to practice walking on the stage. “I used to wear flip-flops,” she said, “but when you do this enough, you learn to wear the shoes you are going to present in.” She talked casually with a group of student filmmakers who’d won the chance to be a part of Hollywood’s biggest night, giving them words of encouragement and telling them to call her “Angie.”

Fiancee Brad Pitt will be accompanying Angelina during Oscar night; Pitt recently won an Independent Spirit Award for his role in 12 Years A Slave. “I’m very proud of him. I am always very proud of him,” Angelina says about Brad’s success. The couple were asked yet again about the possibility of a wedding while signing autographs at the Independent Spirit Awards. “I’m sorry, I can’t,” Angelina responded, while Brad put a finger to his lips and murmured, “Shhh.” It’s clear that the couple want their nuptials to be kept a secret, when ever they may happen.

The couple engaged back in 2012, after Brad’s high profile divorce with Jennifer Aniston. They share six children, both maternal and adopted. The family was recently in Sydney, Australia while Angelina directed her new film Unbroken, and then in London after Valentine’s Day while Brad worked on his World War II drama Fury. Now they’re stateside, preparing for Sunday’s show and well, perhaps to one day ring a wedding bell or two.

  • Brad Pitt Debuts New Hairstyle At Award Shows Over The Weekend

Some fans may have wondered what was going on when Brad Pitt debuted his new hairstyle over the weekend. He showed up to the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday, and then at the Producers Guild Awards on Sunday, with a totally new hairstyle.

The actor who has been known for his long hair throughout his cinematic career, and in his recent film, showed up with it all chopped off, and the sides of his head completely shaved.

He cleared up any confusion with people by stating that it was simply for a part, and not his choice.

The military-inspired look is in fact for his upcoming role in the WWII film Fury, in which he stars opposite Shia LaBeouf and others. The film has recently been shooting in the UK.

Brad Pitt has been seen at each of the awards shows, and will continue to be seen during awards season due to his work in the film 12 Years A Slave.

After already winning best picture-drama at the Golden Globes, 12 Years A Slave has some momentum as the race to the Oscars continues.

It is an important film for people to see, and one that Brad Pitt was excited to be a part of, and be able to share with the world. It tells the story of Solomon Northup, a free man who was taken from the north and forced into slavery for 12 years.

Lupita Nyong’o also won the beset supporting actress award again last night for her role in the film as Patsey, and Brad Pitt has been gushing over the young actress, saying that audiences can expect great things from her.

Brad Pitt is also happy about the positive recognition that the film is getting with its several nominations. After the Screen Actors Guild Awards, he said “It’s great. It also ensures that more people are going to see it. And in my mind this is a film that only comes along once in a decade and everyone should see this. It’s that good. It’s moving, it’s inspirational. It’s why I wanted to go into film in the first place.”

Although Brad Pitt’s part was perhaps too small to be recognized, and especially among all of the tough competition this year, he played an important role in the film, and was also one of the producers, helping to get the film made.

In his second awards show of the weekend, his film shared the award for best picture with Alfonso Cuaron’s Gravity.

Brad Pitt and his new hairdo can be seen in Fury, which is set to be released on November 14, 2014.

  • Brad Pitt’s Ex-Flames Party Together

It must be hard to be Brad Pitt, because the guy lives a pretty tough life, huh? For one, he’s practically married to one of the world’s most beautiful women in Angelina Jolie, and two, he’s amassed a huge fortune for doing exactly what he loves to do.

But even before the millions of dollars and the gorgeous fiance, the 50-year old actor has dated some of Hollywood’s most coveted women like Christina Applegate, Robin Givens, Thandie Newton and others, so it’s no surprise that two of his former flames showed up at this year’s Golden Globe Awards and danced at the same after parties.

According to countless sources, Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow were seen hanging out at the ceremony and at the celebrations afterwards, and both actresses looked stunning in head-to-toe black. And while Aniston wore a body hugging calf-length dress, which appropriately straddled the line of casual and dressy, Paltrow went the more daring route and displayed plenty of cleavage and not much else. Perhaps surprisingly, it wasn’t the first time the two actresses were seen partying together, because Paltrow showed up to Aniston’s recent Christmas party, so apparently, there’s no bad blood between them.

It seems like a lifetime ago that Pitt was involved with the two actresses, but in actuality it really wasn’t that long ago. From 2000 to 2005 he was married to Aniston, which ended in a controversial split because it was rumored that Pitt was having an affair with Jolie. And from 1994 to 1997 he was with Paltrow. The two were even engaged at one point, but never made it to the alter.

But young love is young love, whether you’re a 20-something year old living in a small town or whether you’re a 20-something year old Hollywood celebrity, so all three have since moved on. Aniston has been with actor Justin Theroux since 2011, and of course Paltrow wed Coldplay’s Chris Martin in 2003.

Pitt wasn’t at the Golden Globes this year and some probably wouldn’t blame him if he skipped the Oscars either, because for some reason he always seems to get snubbed by the academy. In 1996, 2009 and 2012 he was nominated for great work in the movies “Twelve Monkeys”, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and “Money Ball,” but no statue.

So I guess Pitt doesn’t get everything he wants. Despite being associated with such beautiful and accomplished women.

  • Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Enjoy Holidays in Australia

Everyone knows Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have a deep admiration for family.

Fans also know that the couple’s parenting obligations are taken quite seriously, and their demanding work schedules are coordinated around the kids.

So, it comes as no surprise that the celebrity couple decided to pack up their six children and jet-set to another continent for the Christmas holiday.

This time around, the Jolie-Pitt family spent the holiday in Queensland, Australia.

E! News reports that Jolie was spotted on Friday, Dec. 20 departing out of Sydney with the children as they prepared to travel to Australia. Jolie had actually been working in Sydney, directing her latest film Unbroken.

Pitt, who celebrated his 50th birthday on Dec. 18, also arrived to spend the holidays with the family.

The Golden Globe winner has actually been traveling back and forth to Australia as he’s been filming World War II-set Fury in London. Ironically, both of them are working on WWII-related projects as Unbroken centers around WWII hero Louis Zamperini.

Today, the Hollywood couple spent the day with their children to the Currumbin Wildlife Park. The Jolie-Pitt family received a VIP tour of an exclusive area of the park that normally restricted to visitors.

The Australian media also reported that the couple visited the beach on the Gold Coast with their six children. The family also went on a boating excursion down the  Coomera River.

Then, of course, there was definitely Christmas shopping. With six children, its only normal for doting parents to buy toys and Christmas gifts. So, Jolie and Pitt hit up Target.

Elated with the store’s celebrity guests, Target Australia CEO, Stuart Machin tweeted his sentiments of Jolie and Pitt’s presence in the store.

A source close to the couple also spoke with US Weekly in reference to the Christmas getaway. The source shared the couple’s perspective of balancing work and family time. “They’re used to celebrating wherever they’re working,” the source said. “They meet as often as they can. They don’t want to spend too much time apart!”

  • Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Take Family Yachting

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have taken their large brood of children on many adventures over the years. The latest is yachting. The Jolie-Pitt gang spent a beautiful day yachting on Australia’s Sydney Harbor.

In Australia filming Unbroken, Angelina Jolie hasn’t had the kind of time she’d like to enjoy both her husband and her children, so the yachting excursion was a treat. Brad Pitt has been filming, too. He’s been in Europe working on Fury, his World War II drama.

Pitt spent part of the family’s time on the water taking pictures of his wife and children, as they enjoyed the warm, sunny day. Following their ride, he took the kids paddle boarding, and documented that with photos, too.

This yacht the Jolie-Pitt gang chartered was no ordinary boat. Boasting four staterooms, two lounge rooms, a dining room and two outdoor areas, it also featured a sun-drenched saloon, flat-screen televisions, a retractable sunroof and more. The 87-foot yacht cost Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie–depending on which one picked up the tab–a cool $10,000 for an eight-hour rental.

Angelina Jolie will be in Sydney for a while yet. She moved into a five bedroom mansion on Sydney Harbor where she’ll remain until Unbroken’s filming and post production are finished. It’s uncertain if she, Brad Pitt and their children will spend Christmas there or not.

A Twitter follower marveled at the cost of the rented vessel.

When you’re Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, money is certainly no object. At the very least the couple appears to be centered on their family, and their children are receiving love and guidance in addition to lavish adventures.

  • Angelina Jolie and Family in Australia

Angelina Jolie and Family in Australia

The Jolie-Pitt clan is known for its globe-trotting ways, and son Maddox doesn’t let us down when he visits his mom on a movie set in Australia. Angelina Jolie, who is in Sydney directing the film Unbroken, was surprised as the 12-year-old confidently strolled on set, and greeted his mom.

Jolie and Maddox, as well as the rest of the gang, kids Shiloh, Zahara, Pax, Knox and Vivienne and dad Brad Pitt, also got in some family time on a luxury yacht in the Sydney Harbor, splashing it up in the water and paddle boarding.

Unbroken is based off of the 2010 best-selling novel, written by Laura Hillenbrand, which spent 108 weeks on the New York Times best seller list, 14 of which were at number 1.

The film and book tell the life of Louis Zamperini, an Olympian track prodigy and Air Force pilot whose plane crashed into the Pacific Ocean in 1943 during World War II. He floated on a raft in shark-infested water for 47 days, only to be captured by the Japanese and sent to a prisoner of war camp.

Zamperini competed in the 1936 Berlin Olympics when he was 19. Although he didn’t win a medal, Adolf Hitler was so impressed he insisted on meeting the runner.

Jolie spoke of the real-life war hero and how his life has affected hers, in an interview.

“’It will be hard to make a film worthy of this great man. I am deeply honored to have the chance and will do all I can to bring Louie’s inspiring story to life. Everyone involved in the film shares this deep responsibility. Like all readers of Laura’s book and all people who love and admire Louie, I am a fan who has learned so much. He has made me a better person.”

Unbroken is slated to hit the screens January 16, 2015.

  • Angelina Jolie Attends Awards Show With Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie was accompanied by both husband Brad Pitt and 12-year-old son Maddox when she accepted an award at the 2013 Governors Awards in Hollywood on Saturday.

“My family, my love, your love and support make everything possible,” she said. “Mad, and your brothers and sisters, there is no greater honor than being your mom.”

The youngest recipient to receive the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, Jolie’s humanitarian efforts have taken her–and often her family, too–around the world.

Jolie lost her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, to ovarian cancer back in 2007, but she wasn’t far from her mind on Saturday.

“My mom loved art,” Jolie said. “She wanted for [brother James Haven] and I to have the life of an artist. She believed nothing would mean anything if you didn’t lead a life that was of use to others.”

Angelina Jolie’s father, Jon Voight, sat with Brad Pitt and Maddox at the awards ceremony. And while that was likely heartwarming for the actress (she and her dad made amends several years back after many years of estrangement) she would no doubt have loved to have her mother there to see her given this prestigious award.

Without a mom there to express her pride, friend Emma Thompson did so instead.

“It comes from a very genuine place with Angie,” Thompson told PEOPLE. “That is the important thing. She has been very good at keeping things in the headlines that would all too easily slip away.”

In addition to Thompson’s praises, the presence of Brad Pitt and son Maddox at the 2013 Governors Awards must have made Angelina Jolie realize just how blessed she is. She continues her work as a humanitarian so that those less fortunate will know the joy of blessings, too.

  • Angelina Jolie: Thanks to Brad, Kids, Late Mother

Angelina Jolie was honored late last night at the Governor’s Awards with a Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, which is identical to an oscar, for her humanitarian work, according to AFP. She has travelled around the world on over 40 missions since 2012 in her role as special envoy for the United Nations Refugee Agency.

“It was only when I began to travel that I understood my responsibility to others.”, she said of her experiences on foreign grounds.

The poverty and suffering she saw all around her in other countries made her grateful for what she has, and made her want to do all she could to make a difference.

“When I met survivors of wars and famine, and rape, I learned what life is like for most people in this world and how fortunate I was to have food to eat, a roof above my head, a safe place to live and the joy of having my family safe and healthy,” she said.

The actress became emotional as she thanked her late mother, Marcheline Bertrand, for setting an example for her to always think of others and to give back, according to the AP. “To stand here today means I did as she asked,” Jolie said. “And if she were alive, she’d be very proud.”

As reported by E!, She also thanked her husband-to-be, Brad Pitt, “My love. Your support and your guidance make everything I do possible.”

She didn’t leave out their brood of adorable kids, and oldest son Maddox, 12, accompanied his parents to the awards. “I’m not going to cry, I promise,” Jolie said to Maddox from the stage. “I’m not going to embarrass you. You and your brothers and sisters are my happiness and there is no greater honor in this world than being your mom.”

  • 12 Years A Slave Has A Significant Connection To Canada

Those who have seen the film 12 Years A Slave already know of the important character that appears late in the film from Canada, but probably do not know the story behind him.

Samuel Bass, played by Brad Pitt, shows up toward the end of the film, and is the key figure in helping Solomon Northrup finally become a free man again.

12 Years A Slave is likely to receive several award nominations, and already receiving a great amount of attention from film critics.

The film tells the real-life story of Solomon Northup, a free man from Saratoga Springs, NY, who is sold into slavery, and forced to work on southern plantations. In the film, he is played by Chiwetel Ejiofor, a role that will likely get him several award nominations. It is also very disturbing, and used to depict the many horrors of slavery.

The film features a significant connection to Canada that most people are probably not aware of yet. The information has Bass’ descendants overjoyed with pride, after it was kept from them for such a long time. Laurie Morris, a 50-year-old whose mother is a descendant of Bass’ youngest daughter Hannah said of the relationship, “The movie is about Solomon Northup, right? But we would never have heard of him, I guess, if he hadn’t met my great-great-great-great-grandfather.”

The ironic part of it is that before 12 Years A Slave was released, Morris and her family did not even know of their connection to the man who helped Solomon Northup to freedom. In a chance encounter while working on the plantation that Solomon lived, Samuel Bass, a Canadian carpenter, was able to contact his friends in the north, and vouch for Solomon’s identity.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjwptdtn9fQ

Part of the reason that his story did not come out until many years later is that Bass left Canada sometime around 1840, just before the movie takes place, when he took a variety of carpentry jobs throughout the United States. He also left his wife and four daughters, which might be why he was barely talked about in the family.

In preparation for the filming and research on 12 Years A Slave, David Fiske, a historian and author, was able to trace Bass back to southern Ontario. The connection was made through Solomon Northup’s Twelve Years a Slave and Plantation Life in the Antebellum South, a 2007 book by Sue Eakin.

Upper Canada, which is now Ontario, abolished slavery just before Bass was born, and throughout his life, he was outspoken in his opposition to slavery, and strongly spoke out against the practice, despite having a different viewpoint from the majority of others.

12 Years A Slave is being hailed as one of the best films of the year, and it helps to expose the real-life story of Solomon Northup, while also introducing Canadians to a long lost descendant, and very important figure.

  • Details About The Original Ending of World War Z Appear

For those of you who ran to the theaters to catch the latest entry for the zombie trend that is World War Z, some details of interest about the movie’s ending have emerged. If you are a passing fan who is only interested in seeing the newest, hottest thing at the theater, then you may not be familiar with the details of the movie’s ending. WWZ’s theatrical ending had to be re-shot, and Damon Lindelof was brought in to redo it. The reasoning behind his choices:

I said to them, There are two roads to go down here,” says Lindelof. “Is there material that can be written to make that stuff work better? To have it make sense? To have it have emotional stakes? And plot logic and all that? And Road Two, which I think is the long-shot road, is that everything changes after Brad leaves Israel… I didn’t think anyone was going to say, ‘Let’s throw it out and try something else,’?” Lindelof recalls. “So when I gave them those two roads and they sounded more interested in Road B”—which meant shooting an additional 30 to 40 minutes of the movie…”

In other words, the crew didn’t like what they had created and they hired a writer who has a gift for being obscure to fix it. Reaction to the movie has been mixed, and one reviewer in particular has this to say about the new ending:

The infamously troubled third act is pretty good, but it’s smaller and intimate, which is jarring when compared to the epic CG money shots of the rest of the movie.

It should be noted that AintItCool.com’s Quint was not overly impressed with the final product, but he felt the ending worked, even if it doesn’t fit the tenor of the first two acts. As an aside, I have not, nor do I have any intention of seeing the movie. As someone who has read the book, I have no interest in seeing a PG-13 version of an “in name only” adaptation.

The Oatmeal addressed this very issue:

    (image)

For those who did see and enjoy WWZ, here’s an idea of what you may be getting in the Blu-Ray’s additional content, provided Paramount allows the original WWZ ending to see the light of day:

The plane Gerry and Segen board is bound for Moscow. Upon safely landing, everyone on board is rounded up by the military. The elderly and the sick are executed and the healthy people, including a very shaken Gerry, are immediately drafted into armed service, though not before one particularly nasty Russian soldier takes Gerry’s cell phone. The story then jumps forward an unknown amount of time and we catch up with Gerry, who now has a full beard and has been a part of Russia’s zombie-clearing squad at least long enough for it to have changed to winter. He looks almost dead inside, but the reality is that over this time he’s become an experienced and ruthless zombie killer, and he’s the leader of his own equally capable unit.

Gerry’s unit is tasked with clearing subway tunnels of zombie hordes. This is the first time we see the Lobo, a perfected zombie-killing tool that’s sort of a shovel/battle axe that would have been one of the few things from the book to make it into the movie. Gerry and his team use them to slice their way through every poor zombie that tracks them through the tunnels by following their sounds. It’s all routine work for them, and when they’re not in the tunnels killing, they’re basically just preparing to go back in. During this downtime we see a bit of bonding between Gerry and another English-speaking friend, Simon. The two play a guessing game of what celebrities would have survived the outbreak.

There are at least six more paragraphs discussing the original ending, which is apparently bleaker than the theatrical version. With that in mind, which do you prefer? Would the appearance of the Lobo save the movie for fans of the book who were disappointed by the adaptation?

  • World War Z Has The Critics Split

World War Z is opening in theaters tomorrow. It seems to not have much in common with the fan-favorite novel, but the movie itself has garnered a somewhat favorable critical reception.

As of now, World War Z is sitting at a 70 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. A number of top critics are giving it favorable reviews saying that it’s a good zombie film despite some issues.

Ty Burr of the Boston Globe had this to say in his review:

“The surprise of the absorbing, frightening “World War Z” is that what sounds ridiculous on paper turns out be a gripper on the screen.”

Laura Clifford from Reeling Reviews praised the film while deriding its use of 3D:

“One thing Forster’s done well is convey the sheer speed in which a major city can be brought down by the undead…Of course, the decision to convert all this to 3D simply means that many of these quick moving action scenes become a chaotic blur…”

It has received its own fair share of criticism, however, as some critics were upset over a whole host of issues.

Cameron Williams of The Popcorn Junkie criticized the film’s benign nature:

“A zombie film made by a parents group. A sanitised entry into the genre to ensure that twelve year-olds can lap up the action without mum or dad having to wash their sheets in the morning.”

Curtis Woloschuk of the Willamette Week references the film’s troubled production in his criticism:

“Hollywood executives can sleep a little easier at night, once again content in the knowledge that throwing enough money at a problem can solve it.”

As with any film adaptation of a popular book, opinions are going to vary wildly. It sounds like those looking for a decent zombie flick that’s safe for the kids will probably get some enjoyment out of World War Z, but those looking for a more traditional zombie flick will have to look elsewhere.

  • Brad Pitt Says Angelina Jolie Is A “Badass”

Brad Pitt hasn’t spoken publicly on Angelina Jolie’s decision to get a double mastectomy since she revealed that she underwent the procedure last month. At the red carpet premier for World War Z, the actor finally told the press what he thought about it.

When asked by reporters what he thought about the surgery, Pitt said that he was proud of her and that she was “just a badass.” He also said that her going through with the surgery is a huge relief for him and their family:

“[Her support is] the same thing it means every time she comes to support me, but this time we don’t have that other thing hanging over us that we knew we’d have to deal with at some point – her specifically, physically. It’s a huge relief to know, that’s the thing that’s not going to take her. [Cancer] is not the thing I’m going to have to explain to the kids about why they can’t see mom again. It’s big, it’s everything.”

You may recall that Jolie publicly unveiled the double mastectomy in a New York Times op-ed last month. She revealed that her body housed a gene that was a precursor to breast cancer. She encouraged other women to get tested for the gene so they could beat breast cancer before it ever appears.

As for Jolie herself, she didn’t spend much time talking about it. She said it was “Brad’s night” and just told reporters that she “felt wonderful.”

  • Pitt Says Face Blindness Is Limiting His Social Life

Brad Pitt may have face blindness and he says the disorder is impacting his social life.

In a recent Esquire interview, Pitt says that he thinks he has prosopagnosia – a disorder that makes it impossible for the affected to remember faces. He told the magazine that the disorder makes it hard for him to meet new people as he won’t remember their faces the next time he meets them. This makes it seem like he’s being rude, and people tend to not like him as a result.

He says that some people are helpful by providing him some context over how they met, but most people think he’s being egotistical. He says that’s not the case. As a result, he says that he’s limiting his time outside so as not to accidentally offend anybody.

Of course, Pitt only thinks he suffers from face blindness, and has not received an official diagnosis. To that end, Carnegie-Mellon University has offered to perform a free brain scan on Pitt to find out if he suffers from face blindness. He has yet to take them up on the offer.

The revelation that Pitt may suffer from face blindness isn’t the first juicy bit of info to come out of his recent interview with Esquire. The star also commented on his former marriage to Jennifer Aniston saying he was a drifter during those years.

    [OMG]

  • Brad Pitt: Face Blindness Makes People Hate Him

Brad Pitt has one of the most memorable faces in the country, but don’t expect him to remember yours should you ever meet the superstar.

Pitt says he’s always had a huge problem remembering faces, even if he’s had a lengthy conversation with someone. It tends to make people angry.

“So many people hate me because they think I’m disrespecting them,” Pitt said in a recent Esquire interview. “I took one year where I just said, This year, I’m just going to cop to it and say to people, ‘OK, where did we meet?’ But it just got worse. People were more offended. …You get this thing, like, ‘You’re being egotistical. You’re being conceited.’ But it’s a mystery to me, man. I can’t grasp a face, and yet I come from such a design/aesthetic point of view. I am going to get it tested.”

Carnegie Mellon University has invited Pitt to be tested, in fact, and put out a press release about it:

“Carnegie Mellon is one of the very few places that can both test for face blindness and perform the brain imaging in our state-of-the-art imaging center,” the statement read.

The actor has been getting quite a few headlines this week; after the interview came out, excerpts were leaked online in which he talked about how he felt like he was “drifting” through life during the time he was married to Jennifer Aniston. However, he has also said he blames himself for the feelings and called Aniston “an incredibly giving, loving and hilarious woman.”

  • Pitt Slams Aniston Marriage, Calls It “Pathetic”

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were once quite the pair. Their marriage lasted five years before the two called it quits in 2005. Looking back on it, Pitt says his marriage to Aniston was “pathetic.”

In a 2011 interview with the World War Z star in Parade Magazine, Pitt reflects upon his marriage with the Friends star. He told the magazine that his marriage with Aniston had basically devolved into him “sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out.” He then said that it started to feel “pathetic.”

He went on to say that he was so absorbed in trying to “find a movie about an interesting life” that his real life became uninterested. He partially blames his marriage to Aniston for the feeling by saying that he was “trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.”

This all may sound like Pitt blames Aniston for the above, but that’s not the case says the star. He says that he means he was becoming dull to himself in the marriage, and the blame fell on himself. He holds that Aniston “is an incredibly giving, loving and hilarious woman.”

In a more recent interview with Esquire Magazine, Pitt refers to the 2011 interview saying that he was a “drifter” during his marriage to Aniston. He also said that he spent the years during the marriage just “f*cking off.” He finally started to move on after an “epiphany” caused him to feel that he was “wasting [his] opportunity.”

As for his current life, Pitt says that he’s “satisfied” in his relationship with Angelina Jolie. The two raise children they have adopted from around the world and are regular activists for various causes. In fact, Jolie was raising awareness for breast cancer last week when she announced that she had undergone a double mastectomy to reduce her chances of developing the cancer. In the op-ed announcement, she urged other women to get tested for breast cancer, and to not be afraid of the surgery.

  • Kirsten Dunst: Brad Pitt Kiss Was “Disgusting”

A large portion of women around the world would do just about anything to lock lips with Brad Pitt, but to have the famous actor be their first kiss would be something almost too fanciful to imagine. So, when a young actress dismisses that very event with a word like “disgusting,” people will take notice.

In an interview with Bullett this week, Kirsten Dunst reveals that her on-screen kiss with Brad Pitt in the movie Interview With the Vampire wasn’t a life-changing moment. She was only 12 at the time, playing a young girl who is turned into a vampire.

The kiss was Dunst’s first one in her life, and she describes it as “just a peck.” Though the people around her were telling her how lucky she was to kiss the actor, she only knew her co-star as “a hippie-ish cool dude” with long hair.

“…I thought it was disgusting,” said Dunst, describing the kiss.

It turns out the burgeoning actress wasn’t yet into boys. She goes on to state that she didn’t kiss anyone else until she was 16, so it’s clear that Dunst might have had a different opinion on the kiss if she had been a little older. In that way, it’s not entirely an insult to Pitt.

  • Janice Dickinson Trying To Outdo Brad And Angie

Janice Dickinson, famously known as the shade-throwing “first supermodel”, is engaged.

Dickinson says she’s found someone who completes her and says she plans on spending the rest of her life trying to make him happy. Despite the fact that this is Dickinson’s fourth marriage, she seems elated at the prospect of settling down again…even though the couple have only been dating for three months. The 57-year old says it was love at “first sight” with Dr. Robert Gerner and is now planning the nuptials, which she insists will put Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s to shame.

“I intend to make Rocky the happiest man in the world for the rest of his life,” Dickinson said. “I couldn’t be happier right now. Oh! And our wedding is going to make Brad and Angelina’s look like a trip to city hall!”

Dickinson is well-known for her outspoken ways and prickly attitude and engaged in a famous cat-fight with Tyra Banks after some disagreements on the set of “America’s Next Top Model”, which Dickinson has said is “rigged”.

Brad Pitt Ad Earns Public Mockery

Brad Pitt has, for as long as he’s been on the big screen, been able to charm just about everyone he comes into contact with. He’s big into causes like wife-to-be Angelina Jolie, and tends to exude his movie-star charisma in real-life by merging good looks with a good sense of humor. Fans of both sexes openly admire him, and while he hasn’t chosen too many projects one could deem a failure, he’s being mocked pretty hard for this Chanel No. 5 ad.

Pitt appears in black and white (obviously, as it’s artsy) and appears to be channeling some old-school Calvin Klein commercials as he waxes poetic about love and fate before hocking the scent.

  • Pitt House Sold For Incredible Profit By Talk Show Host

Brad Pitt’s former Malibu place–which he bought just after his split with Jennifer Anniston–has just sold for a whopping $13 million, which netted a nice chunk of change to the tune of a cool million for the most recent owners: Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi.

Pitt, who has formed a friendship with the talk show host in recent years–bonding over their mutual love for New Orleans and even working on projects together there–sold the home to DeGeneres less than a year ago, and DeGeneres and her wife have made several changes and renovations to the property in order to flip it. The comedienne is no stranger to house-flipping; she recently did the same thing with Ryan Seacrest, turning over her Beverly Hills home for around $37 million.
