Bindi Iriwn is growing up right before our very eyes.
Since her father’s death back in 2006, the world has been keeping an eye on Bindi Irwin as she carries on her father’s work and mission, but also blooms into her own lovely self.
Bindi Irwin, now 17, still lives and works with her mother at Australia Zoo, but has had quite the bustling career already.
Bindi Irwin has starred in her own TV shows, advocated for wildlife far and wide, and has even formed her own Wildlife Warriors conservation team.
That team includes Bindi Irwin’s new boyfriend, American wakeboarder Chandler Powell.
Residing in Florida himself, Chandler and Bindi Irwin maintain a long distance relationship. But, the two lovebirds seem to make it work!
Bindi Irwin recently gushed about her beau to Australia’s Telegraph Style magazine.
She said, “I was blessed to meet Chandler and his family back in November 2013. We remained in touch and stayed friends. Since then, our friendship has developed into something really special.”
Bindi Irwin and Chander Powell share one very special common interest that is near to her heart.
She added of Powell, “He is passionate about wildlife and an extraordinary wakeboarder. We are excited to be achieving more conservation work together. I feel lucky to have him in my life.”
