  • Outkast Plans To Tour Over 40 Festivals In 2014

    Outkast announced that they will be celebrating their 20th anniversary as a musical act by performing at over 40 festivals this year.The tour will take place in the Spring and Summer and according to the performers’ website, the dates of the tour stops are yet to be announced.

    “It’s truly an honor to celebrate 20 years and still be free to do music the way we choose,” said Big Boi. “Don’t just think outside the box, know that there is no box. I’m looking forward to rocking the stage with my Bro Ski and to all the fans – stank you smelly much, this is for y’all!”

    “And imagine, all we wanted to do was rap! I am thankful to have been a part of a group that allowed me to explore anything that came to mind and have fun doing it. Returning to the stage together is the most exciting way for us to thank everyone for their 20 years of supporting Outkast,” said André 3000

    Outkast fans have been waiting for the duo to get back together and will be excited to hear about the tour. According to rumors, Big Boi and Andre 3000 have not been allowed to work together because Andre’s label had issues with Big Boi. Apparently, these label politics have been put aside and the duo has reunited to give their fans an awesome show.

    Outkast shared the news of their new tour on Twitter as well. The artists also recently announced that they would be headlining the annual Coachella festival in Indio, California.

  • Outkast Announces 40 Festival Reunion Tour

    To celebrate 20 years together as a musical group, Outkast has announced that they will be performing at over 40 festivals around the world this spring/summer. The tour will begin on Friday, April 11 at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

    “It’s truly an honor to celebrate 20 years and still be free to do music the way we choose,” said Big Boi. “Don’t just think outside the box, know that there is no box. I’m looking forward to rocking the stage with my Bro Ski and to all the fans – stank you smelly much, this is for y’all!”

    The duo created a new Twitter page, on January 13, for fans to follow to stay updated on upcoming dates and events. “Outkast will return to the stage with a full festival run of over 40 dates to celebrate 20 years. #Outkast20 – Team Outkast,” was the first tweet on the page, and later Big Boi and Andre 3000 posted tweets of their own.
