  • Ben Affleck Gets Advice from “Batman” Predecessor Christian Bale

Ben Affleck Gets Advice from “Batman” Predecessor Christian Bale

Ben Affleck got some sage advice from an actor who played the role before him. Christian Bale shared some of his wisdom with the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star recently.

It was while walking the red carpet at the New York City premiere of the film that Ben Affleck shared the story.

“I ran into him at a costume shop when we were both buying costumes for our kids and we talked,” Affleck said of Christian Bale.

So what was the advice proffered to Ben Affleck from his “Batman” predecessor?

“Make sure they put a zipper in the suit!” Affleck said at Sunday’s premiere.

Christian Bale recently admitted that even though he gave up playing Batman in 2012, he felt twinges of jealousy when learning Ben Affleck was taking over the role.

“I’ve got to admit initially, even though I felt that it was the right time to stop, there was always a bit of me going, ‘Oh go on…Let’s do another,’” Bale told Empire magazine. “So when I heard there was someone else doing it, there was a moment where I just stopped and stared into nothing for half an hour.”

“But I’m 40,” he added. “The fact that I’m jealous of someone else playing Batman…I think I should have gotten over it by now.”

If he isn’t, there’s not much he can do about it now. Ben Affleck will soon appear in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice when it opens in theaters nationwide on Friday.

  • Gal Gadot Explains What Inspired Her To Take On The Role Of Wonder Woman

Gal Gadot Explains What Inspired Her To Take On The Role Of Wonder Woman

Gal Gadot, who has been controversially cast as Wonder Woman in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, said it was her daughter, Alma, who inspired her to put on that iconic outfit.

“I have a 4-year-old daughter and she adores princesses at the same time she will tell me the princess is so weak, she falls asleep and the prince will come and kiss her and save her and he is the hero,” Gadot said Friday at a press conference for the film.

“So I am so happy to be the one who is going to tell the Wonder Woman story. It is such an important story to tell,” she added. “It is so important for girls and boys to have a female, strong, super hero to look up to. The more the merrier and there is plenty of room for many more women to come and I am very happy to be a part of it.”

The 30-year-old actress faced criticism back in 2013 when it was announced that she would portray Wonder Woman, a.k.a.Diana Prince, a.k.a the Princess of the Amazons. DC Comics fans complained that Gadot wasn’t curvy enough for the role comparing her to Lynda Carter, the actress who previously suited up as Wonder Woman on the small screen.

“For me being an actress, my responsibility is not to pay attention to all the noise around me and to pay attention to the script and the director and protect the character and try to tell her story the best I can,” she said of the controversy.

Despite the backlash, Gadot says she is thrilled to star alongside Ben Affleck (Batman), and Henry Cavill (Superman).

“It’s a huge honor for me to be the one to get this amazing opportunity to tell such an important story. I feel very grateful,” said Gadot. “I never planned on being an actress or Wonder Woman but everything just happened and I am grateful and happy and in love with what I do. I am enjoying everything but it will take me sometime until I really understand what is going on.”

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens March 25.

  • Gal Gadot on Upcoming Wonder Woman Role, Providing Children With Someone to Look Up To

Gal Gadot is excited about the premiere of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, as she plays Wonder Woman alongside Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman. She loves that her role provides children with yet another strong character to look up to as well.

“I have a 4-year-old daughter and she adores princesses at the same time she will tell me the princess is so weak, she falls asleep and the prince will come and kiss her and save her and he is the hero,” Gal Gadot said on Friday at a press conference for the film.

When Gal Gadot was first cast in her role as Wonder Woman–back in 2013–there was some noise about her not being “curvy” enough to fill Lynda Carter’s shoes. Carter played Wonder Woman on the TV series of the same name.

“For me being an actress, my responsibility is not to pay attention to all the noise around me and to pay attention to the script and the director and protect the character and try to tell her story the best I can,” Gadot said.

“It’s a huge honor for me to be the one to get this amazing opportunity to tell such an important story. I feel very grateful,” Gal Gadot shared. “I never planned on being an actress or Wonder Woman but everything just happened and I am grateful and happy and in love with what I do. I am enjoying everything but it will take me sometime until I really understand what is going on.”

Fans can check out Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and more when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on Friday, March 25.

  • Ben Affleck: His Phoenix Isn’t Rising, Back Tattoo a Fake

Ben Affleck: His Phoenix Isn’t Rising, Back Tattoo a Fake

Ben Affleck has been mercilessly teased over a giant tattoo he’s been sporting on his back since early March. A large bird, raising its wings as though ready to take flight, the artwork seems to depict a phoenix.

Even ex-wife Jennifer Garner and ex-fiancee Jennifer Lopez think the tattoo looks stupid.

Alas it seems Ben Affleck’s phoenix isn’t rising after all. The large bird emblazoned onto his back is nothing but a fake–some artwork created to look like a tattoo for an upcoming film role.

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star shared in a recent interview with Extra’s Mario Lopez that the phoenix definitely won’t rise.

“I actually do have a number of tattoos…but I try to have them in places where you don’t have to do a lot of cover up…they get sort of addictive, tattoos, after awhile,” Ben Affleck told the Extra host.

Were you a fan of Ben Affleck’s new (fake) tattoo? Or did you side with both Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez in thinking the tattoo was way too big–and ugly?

Fans can check out Ben Affleck, now safe in the knowledge that his body hasn’t been permanently marred by oversized art, when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters. It opens nationwide on March 25.

  • Ben Affleck: Giant Back Tattoo is Fake, “Inked” for Upcoming Film Role

Ben Affleck: Giant Back Tattoo is Fake, “Inked” for Upcoming Film Role

Ben Affleck has taken lots of ribbing over a giant tattoo he has sported on his back since early March. A large bird, raising its wings as though about to take flight, the ink appears to be that of a phoenix.

Even the Phoenix Suns got in on the Ben Affleck bashing earlier this month.

Both ex-wife Jennifer Garner and ex-fiancee Jennifer Lopez hate the tattoo.

Fortunately, for all the Ben Affleck tattoo haters, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star shared in a recent interview with Extra’s Mario Lopez that the giant tattoo on his back is fake. The alleged ink is for an upcoming movie role.

“I actually do have a number of tattoos…but I try to have them in places where you don’t have to do a lot of cover up…they get sort of addictive, tattoos, after awhile,” he told the Extra host.

Are you glad to learn that the giant phoenix on Ben Affleck’s back isn’t a real tattoo?

Fans can check out Ben Affleck–sans the tattoo–when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters nationwide on March 25.

  • Ben Affleck On Jennifer Garner’s “Vanity Fair” Article: “She’s Allowed to Talk About It”

Ben Affleck broke his silence about Jennifer Garner’s recent Vanity Fair interview, in which she shared details about the demise of their marriage.

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star opened up in an interview with the New York Times, saying, “She felt like she wanted to discuss it and get it out there and get it over with so she could say, ‘Look, I already talked about it—I don’t want to do it again.’”

“It’s fine,” Affleck added. “She’s allowed to talk about it.”

Ben Affleck is incredibly generous, isn’t he? After allegedly cheating on Jennifer Garner with nanny Christine Ouzounian, he acknowledged that his ex-wife has the right to talk about his transgressions.

    What a guy.

Ben Affleck went on to say some incredibly kind things about the woman he supposedly cheated on.

“Jen’s great. She’s a great person,” he said. “We’re on great terms. I just saw her this morning, so that’s the reality that I live in.”

The reality that Ben Affleck lives in seems like a pretty good one–don’t you think? He (allegedly) cheats on his wife, gets to live with or near his children, and his ex-wife goes on vacation with them–for the sake of the children.

Ben Affleck got to have his cake and eat it, too. In fact, it sounds like he got two slices.

What’s your take on Ben Affleck’s thoughts on Jennifer Garner divulging details about the destruction of their marriage? Do you think he might have worded things a bit differently instead of saying she is “allowed” to talk about it?

Does something about that not sit right with you–and if so, how must Jennifer Garner have reacted when she read it in the New York Times?

  • Ben Affleck Not Upset Over Jennifer Garner’s “Vanity Fair” Interview

Ben Affleck says he isn’t upset over Jennifer Garner’s Vanity Fair interview–the one during which she dished about the demise of their relationship.

During a recent interview with the New York Times, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star said, “She felt like she wanted to discuss it and get it out there and get it over with so she could say, ‘Look, I already talked about it—I don’t want to do it again.’”

“It’s fine,” he added. “She’s allowed to talk about it.”

Ben Affleck had some wonderful things to say about his ex-wife–the mother of his three children.

“Jen’s great. She’s a great person,” he said. “We’re on great terms. I just saw her this morning, so that’s the reality that I live in.”

Of course it’s likely much easier for Ben Affleck to compliment Jennifer Garner than for her to compliment him. After all, he is the one who allegedly cheated on his wife with nanny Christine Ouzounian. He wasn’t the one who was cheated on.

Affleck seems to think his work on the big screen is what people will remember him for, over his split from Jennifer Garner. Do you think that’s necessarily the case?

“Even in the tough spots, if your movies are good, people will see them. And if you’re not good, you can’t get away with it,” he said.

“Eventually it catches up with you,” he added. “Both ways, good and bad.”

Oh, it definitely caught up with Ben Affleck. Hopefully, for the sake of his children, things are as great between him and Jennifer Garner as he claims.

If you were Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck cheated on you with Christine Ouzounian, how would you feel?

Even Batman can’t get off scot-free from that one.

  • Ben Affleck Finally Responds to Jennifer Garner’s ‘Vanity Fair’ Interview

Ben Affleck has broken his silence over the emotional, tell-all Vanity Fair cover story about his estranged wife Jennifer Garner.

According to the New York Times, Affleck was initially reluctant to discuss the end of his marriage “for the sake of his three children” because “it ends up being in the record somewhere, in the great miasma of junk on the Internet.”

In the end, the 43-year-old Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor, decided to share a few details to the paper — and they were incredibly generous to his ex.

“Jen’s great. She’s a great person,” said Affleck. “We’re on great terms. I just saw her this morning, so that’s the reality that I live in.”

Affleck said he knew about the Vanity Fair article before it came out.

“She felt like she wanted to discuss it and get it out there and get it over with,” the actor recalled. “So she could say, ‘Look, I already talked about it — I don’t want to do it again.’”

In the magazine’s March 2016 cover story, Garner shared many details about her 2015 split from Affleck, including the now-infamous nanny scandal and the strain alleged infidelity had on their marriage. But, she also noted that she married the man and not the image.

“I didn’t marry the big fat movie star; I married him,” the Miracles From Heaven actress said. “And I would go back and remake that decision. I ran down the beach to him, and I would again. You can’t have these three babies and so much of what we had. He’s the love of my life. What am I going to do about that? He’s the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He’s just a complicated guy. I always say, ‘When his sun shines on you, you feel it.’ But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it’s cold. He can cast quite a shadow.”

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were married for 10 years and are the parents of three children — Violet, 10, Seraphina, seven, and Samuel, four.

  • Ben Affleck Talks Robin’s Surprising Fate in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’

Ben Affleck has opened up about the disturbing fate of Robin in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is finally hitting theaters March 25.

Warning: there are some spoilers coming up in this article.

Ahead of the release, Affleck confirmed reports that Batman’s trusted sidekick Robin has died in the Gotham/Metropolis envisioned by director Zack Snyder and writer Chris Terrio.

Affleck told Entertainment Weekly that Batman is in mourning and “…bitterly disappointed…that he’s lost this guy who fought by his side. That character’s death must have been devastating to him, and he’s suffered. We get the sense that he’s suffered a lot of devastating losses before this movie even starts.”

That would explain Batman’s salt-and-pepper-haired, world-weary look in trailers for the film. Apparently, our favorite caped crusader is disillusioned and much more cynical than he has been in the past, much of it owing to all the character has been through, including the loss of his sidekick.

In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Batman goes up against the Son of Krypton (Henry Cavill returning as Superman), to partake in “the greatest gladiator match in the history of the world.”

The plot — and the death of Robin — parallels the Frank Miller’s 1986 graphic novel miniseries, The Dark Night Returns, which Snyder has said would be a major factor in his follow-up to 2013’s Man of Steel.

After two and a half years since Affleck was controversially cast as Batman, fans will finally get to see Affleck in action very soon.

What do you think? Will Affleck live up to the Batmen of the past?

  • Gal Gadot Featured in First Look at “Wonder Woman” Movie

Gal Gadot is featured in the first clip allowing fans a sneak peek at the upcoming Wonder Woman movie.

Tuesday evening, Gadot appeared on DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League on The CW. That’s where the short trailer first aired.

“We’re going to see her coming of age, the entire history, what’s her mission,” she said of Wonder Woman.

“I feel like I’ve been given a huge opportunity to inspire people, not only women. And not because of me but because of who Wonder Woman is and what she stands for,” Gal Gadot said of the role about a year ago.

Gal Gadot is an Israeli actress, whose first big screen premiere of Wonder Woman appears in March, as the character is featured in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Up until she played Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot was best known for her role as Gisele in some of the Fast and Furious films, in which she performed all her own stunts.

Gal Gadot might be gorgeous, but she’s no girly girl. The Wonder Woman actress spent a year in the Israeli Defense Forces, where she learned to handle a gun and train for all sorts of unsavory situations.

Fans can check her out on March 25 when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice premieres in theaters, and again in June 2017 when Wonder Woman hits the big screen.

  • “Wonder Woman:” Photo of Gal Gadot in Character Released, New Cast Members Added

Wonder Woman is well on its way to becoming a standalone film. Starring Israeli actress Gal Gadot in the title role, the first Wonder Woman photo has been released at the same time additional cast members have been announced.

Known for her role in two of the Fast & Furious films, Gal Gadot shared her Wonder Woman image on her Instagram account.

“Almost 75 years in the making… #WonderWoman is underway,” she captioned the stunning shot.

A photo posted by Gal Gadot (@gal_gadot) on

Those familiar with Lynda Carter’s TV Wonder Woman must admit, this is a far cry from that version. Gal Gadot has a haunting look in her eye that will no doubt add intrigue to her Wonder Woman role.

It was announced this past summer that Chris Pine will star opposite Gal Gadot. On Saturday, Warner Bros. Pictures announced that Robin Wright, Danny Huston, Harry Potter star David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya, and Lucy Davis have all signed on to star in Wonder Woman, too.

Gadot’s Wonder Woman will make her debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill. That hits theaters in March.

Wonder Woman–the film–will premiere in theaters in June of 2017.

What’s your take on this new Wonder Woman character? She’s certainly darker and edgier than Lynda Carter’s character from the 70s.

  • Ben Affleck Was Not Convinced He Should Be Batman Either

When Ben Affleck was announced as the new Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, fans of the more recent Batman films and comics alike were livid. The Batman franchise had already suffered from casting Val Kilmer and George Clooney as the Dark Knight. Then came Christian Bale, whom almost everyone accepted as a good fit.

Why in the world would the Universe foist Ben Affleck on us as Batman?

It turns out that Ben Affleck was not so sure of the choice himself.

“My first reaction was, ‘Are you sure?’ ” Affleck told Entertainment Weekly. “At the time I was 40, 41, and had just finished Argo, and I felt like ‘This seems like a strange way to get to Batman.’”

It turns out that Affleck has an ulterior motive for taking the role. He wanted to dig deeper into big-budget production. So many of his films have hd nowhere near the budget as a superhero flick gets.

“I thought if I was going to direct a movie like this, which I would like to do at some point, I need to have something of a refresher course of how these movies are done,” says Affleck, who is rumored to be looking at directing a standalone Batman flick once this one blows over.

Of course, he would cast himself as Batman again.

Ben Affleck highlights his acting choices and the direction of the Bruce Wayne side of Batman.

“He really keeps up the image of the playboy, actively,” Affleck said. “So you have more of a dichotomy which I thought was really fun, and a little sad, like the aging playboy.”

With the recent announcement of Affleck’s split with Jennifer Garner, his turn as Batman is now under even deeper scrutiny. If he hopes to do a standalone Batman film in the future, he will have to convince fans that it is better than his Daredevil. That film was also much-maligned.

Maybe Ben Affleck should stay away from superhero films. He seems to be much better liked doing deeper roles anyway.

  • Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck Announce They Are Divorcing After Ten Years Together

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are getting a divorce. Rumors of a split have swirled for months, and the couple finally made an official announcement as to the status of their marriage earlier on Tuesday.

“After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the two said in a joint statement to E! News. “We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time.”

“This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding.”

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are the parents of three young children. Violet is nine, Seraphina is six, and Samuel is just three years old. Ben and Jen just marked their tenth anniversary earlier in June.

A moving truck was spotted at Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s home several days ago, which further fueled the ongoing divorce rumors. As recently as May, however, the two still denied that a split was in the cards.

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star alluded to tension in his marriage to Jennifer Garner all the way back in 2103. During his Oscars acceptance speech for his role in Argo, he addressed his wife in the audience.

“I want to thank you for working on our marriage for 10 Christmases. It’s good. It is work but the best kind of work and there’s no one I’d rather work with.”

Are you surprised to learn these rumors about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner splitting up have proved true? Did you think they might be one of those Hollywood couples to truly withstand the test of time?

  • Michael Keaton Has No Qualms About Ben Affleck Taking on the Role of Batman — ‘I’m Batman. I’m Very Secure In That’

Michael Keaton has no worries about Ben Affleck taking on the role of Batman in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice because, as he sees it, he is Batman.

There have been a few stars to channel their best Caped Crusader on the big screen — Christian Bale, George Clooney, Val Kilmer — but Keaton feels that his iconic portrayal 25 years ago set the standard for all future films and his legacy will live on.

Keaton was asked by the Shortlist if he was envious of Affleck donning the cape this time.

“No. Do you know why? Because I’m Batman. I’m very secure in that,” said the actor.

    BAM! POW! ZONK!!

The 63-year-old The Birdman actor played Bruce Wayne in two of four Tim Burton-directed movies, Batman in 1989 and Batman Returns in 1992, and said Burton started a lasting legacy with his revival of the superhero saga.

“Tim changed, or started, everything,” said Keaton. “And I’m proud of the choice I made, in terms of how to play Batman. It’s probably easier now because Tim paved the way, and if I did anything to pave the way, I’m proud of that, too.”

The Beetlejuice star said times have changed since he, Burton and Jack Nicholson, who played the Joker, first brought Batman to life on the big screen.

“You can step into it more easily now, is my guess. Technically, [superhero movies] do everything for you. They create a world where all you’ve basically got to do is show up, not f–k it up too much, and you’ll come off okay.”

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be the eighth film in the Batman franchise that started with Keaton. George Clooney took over for Keaton in Batman Forever in 2005, and Val Kilmer starred in the final Batman film directed by Tim Burton, Batman & Robin, in 1997.

With Christian Nolan as director, Christian Bale played Bruce Wayne in 2005’s Batman Begins, 2008’s The Dark Knight, and 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises.

  • Gina Carano And Henry Cavill Break Up Again

The MMA fighter turned actress and the Man of Steel have officially ended their relationship, according to E! News. A source revealed that Gina Carano and Henry Cavill actually broke up “a while ago,” even though the news is just breaking today.

The former Mixed Martial Artist and the British actor began dating in the fall of 2012. The couple split up in the summer of 2013, and Cavill began a short fling with Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco, who later told Cosmopolitan that she was not prepared for the baggage that came with dating the Man of Steel. “I had no one following me until I met Superman. I’ve been in this business for 20 years, and my whole life, I could go anywhere, do anything,” Cuoco admitted. “There had not been one paparazzi photo of me until like several months ago. The recognition was crazy.”

Cavill and Carano reunited in the fall of 2013 and even adopted an Akita puppy from a breeder in Arkansas. The handsome couple apparently made a big impression on the breeder, “It was so great working with Henry and getting to meet him as well as Gina was truly a treat,” the breeder said. “Both Henry and Gina are genuine and a joy to be around. It was truly an honor to add them to our extended family and thank them for their patience in meeting us and our children. It’s not everyday that an A-list celebrity, much less 2 celebrities, come to Beebe, AR to visit.”

Both Cavill and Carano will be busy professionally over the next couple of years. Cavill will put back on the Superman suit and square off against Ben Affleck for the epic blockbuster movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is scheduled to hit theaters in March 2016. Additionally, two Justice League movies have already been announced for 2017 and 2019.

It was also reported today that Carano will join fellow MMA fighter Georges St. Pierre and WWE superstar Dave Bautista in a remake of the 1989 movie Kickboxer, which starred Jean Claude Van Damme.

  • Amy Adams Says She ‘Worries About Everything’

Amy Adams is a worrier and she’s the first to admit it.

“It feels like I worry about everything—mothering, relationships …,” said Adams in an interview for the December issue of Vogue. “I think it’s because I want to continue to grow; I don’t like being stagnant. Especially when you watch how fast children grow, and what they take into their soul and their intellect. It’s like we make this decision to stop growing. I don’t want to do that.”

Adams, who turned 40 in August, says her worrying has been a lifelong ailment. She thought she might outgrow her worries, especially worrying about what people think of her, but found she just can’t seem to shake off her insecurities.

“I was like, ‘I’m 40 and I still care what people think of me; I still don’t do laundry so I’m always out of things; I’m just not a grown-up at all,’ and I had this expectation that I would be by this age,” said Adams.

“It wasn’t, ‘Oh, I’m getting old and I’m going to lose something vibrant about myself.’ It was more that I was just ‘so disappointed with myself,’” she said in the voice of Katherine Hepburn. “It’s just awful. Any chance for self-loathing!”

Even her three-year-old daughter, Aviana, worries about her mama’s worrying.

“I miss her so much. Ten days is the longest trip I think that I’ve ever had away from her,” said Adams of a recent separation from her family while filming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in Detroit.

“Before I left I told her, ‘Lots of people are going to see you, and Daddy’s going to take care of you.’ We have a huge community of friends,” said Adams.

“But she said, ‘Momma, who’s going to take care of you?’ I said, ‘I’m a grown-up. I take care of myself.’ And she said, ‘No, but you need someone to come and spend time with you.’ Because now she has an understanding of loneliness. It’s very sweet. She says, ‘When I grow up, I am going to be your momma,’” she says with a laugh.

“She’ll probably have to be. I’m such a wreck,” concedes Adams. “I’m glad you think it’s cute now. You’re not going to think it’s cute when you’re 25 and I’m living with you.”

  • Jennifer Garner Dishes About Hubby Ben Affleck’s New Batman Body

Jennifer Garner is loving her husband Ben Affleck’s new and improved physique!

The Academy Award-winning actor has been quite busy filming the highly-anticipated Man of Steel sequel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!

Of course, he puts in work when the cameras are rolling, but it’s the gratuitous effort he’s been making off-camera that has his wife’s attention.

The Gone Girl star has reportedly bulked up for his new superhero role and his wife is quite pleased with his muscular physique!

The Dallas Buyers Club actress recently stopped by Live With Kelly & Michael where she chatted with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan.

The upcoming film was one of the first topics in the discussion, reports E! News. Of course, his armored Batsuit is designed with a ripped, embellished muscular exterior, but fans are wondering what his body looks like underneath the armor.

Kelly asked, “Does he look just as ripped underneath the costume?” Jennifer had no reservations about doting on her husband’s Batman body transformation!

“You know, he has put on 30 pounds of muscle and he’s 8 percent body fat,” she revealed. “He looks pretty good. It’s a little bit like, ‘Whoa, who are you?’ It feels like I’m having an affair. But I don’t mind, I’m not complaining,” she admitted.

After he signed on to do the film last year, he immediately began making trips to the gym. As a matter of fact, he was reportedly urged to slow down because he was transforming so quickly. Since he was also filming Gone Girl at that same time, the distinct change was becoming a bit noticeable.

Trish Summerville, the costume designer for Gone Girl, spoke with E! about his body transformation back in November of 2013.

“I’m trying to keep him at the size he’s at right now until he’s done with us,” Summerville said. “He’s a really big guy, like he’s quite tall. You don’t realize how big he is. He kind of reads smaller on film than he does in real life.”

Ben Affleck is definitely expected to deliver a stellar performance in the new film. He’s not even done filming and Jennifer Garner is already pleased with his progress, thus far!

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is tentatively scheduled to hit theaters nationwide on March 25, 2016!

  • Batman V Superman: Some Surprising Plot Details Have Emerged

The latest Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice news should result in a fresh round of excitement and discussion among fans.

The movie enjoyed a great deal of buzz following the San Diego Comic Con thanks to a leaked trailer and first look at Wonder Woman.

Now fans are asking what exactly should they look forward to when the movie is released in March 2016.

While the movie is said to draw heavily from comic book miniseries The Dark Knight Returns, director Zack Snyder claims that the movie will NOT be a shot-for-shot remake.

As for plot details, some interesting tidbits emerged recently.

Firstly, fans will be happy to know that what was shown at Comic Con wasn’t pointless test footage that leads nowhere.

Superman and Batman will indeed duke it out on the big screen for the first time ever!

This information should no doubt result in #TeamBatman and #TeamSuperman trending topics. That and plenty of speculation as to which superhero will emerge from their fight the undisputed victor.

I do not wish to go on record as saying who I think will win in the end, but I will say that no sensible individual would ever underestimate Batman.

Secondly, while we know there will be an epic battle between Batman and Superman, one is left to wonder exactly how the villainous Lex Luthor will factor in.

Will we see the Man of Steel and Dark Knight beat each other to bloody pulpsand then join forces against a greater evil?

Marvel movie fans will no doubt say, “We’ve seen it before!”

Finally, it’s rumored that we could get a Robin cameo of some sort. With so many members of the Justice League already pegged to make an appearance, it’s not too surprising.

What may be surprising to some fans is the gender of the character that could turn up on screen. In The Dark Knight Returns, Batman’s side-kick is a young girl named Carrie Kelley.

  • Wonder Woman Takes Ice Bucket Challenge

Gal Gadot, who will appear as Wonder Woman in the upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, took the Ice Bucket Challenge yesterday after Ben Affleck, aka Batman, accepted the challenge on Monday.

The 29-year old Israeli actress and model has appeared in other American films such as Fast & Furious, Fast Five, and Fast & Furious 6, as well as Date Night with Mark Wahlberg.

In the Fast & Furious films, Gadot is known for doing her own stunts.

“I think the main reason was that [the director] really liked that I was in the military,” she said, “and he wanted to use my knowledge of weapons.”

She added, “There aren’t enough good roles for strong women. I wish we had more female writers. Most of the female characters you see in films today are ‘the poor heartbroken girl.’ That’s why I’m so proud of the Fast movies. I feel like Giselle is an empowering woman.”

After completing the Ice Bucket Challenge, Gadot nominated Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder and the original Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter.

The purpose of the challenge is simple: to spread awareness of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease,” is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. The complications that arise eventually lead to death.

As of today, the ALS Association has received $31.5 million in donations due to the Ice Bucket Challenge which goes to research and clinical management projects.

Celebrities, sports figures, former presidents, and the general public have accepted the challenge recently including George W. Bush and the Foo Fighters.

Gal Gadot, as well as Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Amy Adams can be seen in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice when it is released on March 25, 2016.

  • Batman V Superman: Images From The Movie Set Leak

After a successful showcase at the San Diego Comic Con, the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie is more buzzed about than ever.

Details from the set of the movie continue to “leak” to the public as interest remains high.

The latest details include images from the site of filming that were captured by the Channel 7 News helicopter.

Batman V Superman is currently being filmed in Detroit, Michigan.

As Chopper 7 flew away from a breaking news story in the area, it spotted (and filmed) images from the set of the movie.

What we see, thanks to the helicopter, is a lot of chaos.

Cars are smashed, glass is scattered throughout the street, and buildings destroyed. One crushed police car has “Metropolis” written on the side, signaling the location of the apparent carnage.

Among the rubble is something of great importance.

During the Channel 7 clip, it’s easy to spot a fallen “Wayne Financial” sign.

    Uh oh.

It looks like someone trashed Bruce Wayne’s place of business.

The question is who will be responsible in the movie. Superman? Lex Luthor? Or it is some unnamed villain we have yet to hear about?

It could be that the building was taken down during a major city-wide confrontation, as the Wayne building was not the only one “damaged” on the set.

We saw the destructive nature of clashes that went down in Man of Steel. In that movie, much of the wreckage was caused by Superman fighting his foes.

Thanks to the Comic Con teaser trailer, we have reason to believe that Superman will be in Gotham at some point, and quite possibly fight Batman. However, it won’t be all “Batman vs. Superman”.

Other members of the Justice League are to make an appearance in this film, including Aquaman, Cyborg, and Wonder Woman.

Actress Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman look was revealed at the recent Comic Con and it’s one of the most anticipated aspects of the 2016 movie.

Even though the spoilery footage raises some questions, we probably won’t have any real answers until Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives in theaters in a couple of years.

  • Gal Gadot Rocks the New Wonder Woman Costume

Gal Gadot sure does fill out that new Wonder Woman costume well.

A photo of the Israeli beauty in the costume was revealed during San Diego’s Comic-Con over the weekend.

Gadot, 29, who was born and grew up in Rosh HaAyin, Israel, will play the iconic role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and the reveal of the costume was the talk of the event.

Surprisingly, this is the first time Wonder Woman, a.k.a Diana Prince, will make her big screen appearance, but Gadot has reportedly already signed on to play the super heroine in future sequels, including the upcoming Justice League film.

Gadot is best known for her role as Gisele Yashar in three installments of the Fast and Furious franchise until her character was killed off in Fast 6.

Dawn of Justice will also feature Ben Affleck in the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman.

Director Zack Snyder has been sharing a slew of photos from the upcoming film on his Twitter page over the past week, including pics of Gadot and Affleck in costume.

Fans of the superheroes will still have to wait a bit for the release of Batman v Superman — it’s not scheduled to hit theaters until May 6, 2016.

Even though the world has two years to anticipate the movie, predictions are already circulating that the movie will be a major hit. Some sources, including Forbes magazine, say it could make no less than $750 million.

Perhaps it will be worth the wait.
