April Margera, Sister-In-Law To Vincent “Don Vito” Margera, Said He Wanted Fans To Know He Was Innocent In “Denver Stuff”

April Margera was the first to let the world know that it had lost Vincent Margera, also known as Don Vito to fans of Viva La Bam! and Jackass.

According to April Margera, Vincent died after struggling for a long time with liver and kidney problems.

April Margera said in a statement, “He struggled with kidney and liver issues for a while, and he put up a good fight. But he died this morning at 6:45 a.m. at Chester County Hospital in West Chester, Pennsylvania.”

However, it seems from the rest of April Margera’s statement that his death was not really a surprise to Don Vito, just like it probably wasn’t much of a surprise to those who watched him slur and stumble through his appearances on the MTV shows.

April Margera continued, “He said to me last week that he wanted everyone to know it was a good ride.”

She added, “He enjoyed himself and wanted to thank all the fans. He went through a lot, especially with the Denver stuff. He wanted everyone to know that he never did that.”

The casually mentioned “Denver stuff” April Margera spoke of was actually two counts of sexual assault on a child that stemmed from a 2006 Colorado autograph session that went awry.

Margera was convicted of grabbing the breasts and buttocks of two girls ages 12 and 14 at the autograph signing and sentenced to 10 years to life on parole and wasn’t allowed to play the role of Don Vito for 10 years.

After the trial, Margera’s attorney insisted, “He has virtually no memory of it.”

Jackass star Johnny Knoxville tweeted his condolences:

  • Bam Margera Got Married In Iceland This Weekend

Bam Margera, one of the stars of “Jackass”, married for the second time in Iceland on Saturday, October 5. The 34-year old professional skateboarder said “I do” before taking the stage at the Random Hero Festival with his band Fuckface Unstoppable.

Margera went for a more casual look for the ceremony–a hoodie–but his bride Nicole Boyd wore a gorgeous white lace gown with a plunging back and pearl accents. It was the second wedding for the skater and stuntman, who was married to Melissa Rothstein in 2007; the two split in 2010 and were officially divorced in 2012.

Iceland has been a favorite place of the “Jackass” guys for a while now; Bam’s brother Jess and his band CKY traveled there several years back and documented it for CKY2K, a video that incorporated the band’s music and travels with very early Jackass-type stunts.

  • Bam Margera Catches Hell For Gun Pics

Professional Jackass–and sometime skater–Bam Margera found himself in some hot water recently after posting some controversial images on Twitter.

Margera and some friends were playing with a fake gun and documenting the fun when a cat and puppy got involved, which caused a wave of backlash on various social media sites and garnered a statement from the ASPCA about animal cruelty, which said that Margera was “not funny” and had “missed the mark” with his antics.

Margera apologized later, saying he was unaware of a recent string of animal-cruelty related incidents near his hometown and reiterating that while he was joking, he doesn’t even own a gun and would never inflict harm upon an animal.

“Just hurting another animal is rude, crude, and more,” he said.

He also pointed out that most of his 800,000+ followers on Twitter “knows my Jackass joking kind of humor”.

Interestingly, the photos of Bam pointing a gun at various people barely caused a stir.
