    Zuckerberg revealed that it’s been a struggle for him and Chan, as they’ve had three miscarriages.

    “You feel so hopeful when you learn you’re going to have a child. You start imagining who they’ll become and dreaming of hopes for their future. You start making plans, and then they’re gone. It’s a lonely experience. Most people don’t discuss miscarriages because you worry your problems will distance you or reflect upon you — as if you’re defective or did something to cause this. So you struggle on your own,” says Zuckerberg.

    “We hope that sharing our experience will give more people the same hope we felt and will help more people feel comfortable sharing their stories as well.”

  • Nick And Vanessa Lachey Reveal Their New Baby’s Face

    We first saw her as a cute Easter Bunny, complete with the fluffy tail. Now we can finally see how cute Vanessa Lachey’s daughter really is in a family photo she recently uploaded.

    The 34-year-old model shared a lovely photo of her family on her website as a way to thank their fans.

    The beautiful photo, shot by Justin Coit, showed the former MTV VJ and her husband Nick Lachey dressed in matching beige outfits, with their 2-year-old son Camden being held between them. Baby daughter Brooklyn Elizabeth sleeps peacefully in her mother’s arm.

    The photo, simply titled Proud Parents, also carried the message “Family is EVERYTHING! Love, The Lacheys.”

    The TV host also sent some love to her fans, writing “PS: Thank You ALL so much for the love and support you continue to give to me and my family. I am very appreciative and grateful!”

    “Let me know your thoughts on the website and what you’d like to see more of. Recipes? Party Ideas? Fashion? Mommy Ideas? I can’t wait to hear your thoughts. X,” the new mom also added.

    The new addition to the family was born on January 5 and the proud mama was very open about the love she felt for her daughter on her website.

    And she’s not the only one. In a recent interview, the 98 Degrees crooner gushed about his baby girl, describing her as “awesome.”

    “She’s a great sleeper and eater,” Lachey said. “It’s fun now, she’s starting to smile, so we’re starting to see her personality come in.”

    The singer also apparently finds having children not as nerve-wracking as some described.

    “It’s not that crazy. When you’ve had one, you kind of know a little better what to expect with No.2,” the new dad optimistically said.

    Let’s hope he doesn’t change his tune once the kids hit their teens.

  • Facebook Now Lets You Tag Your Kids, Organize Their Photos in a Scrapbook

    Accepting that its site is now at least 50 percent photos of kids, Facebook is finally letting you tag your kids in said photos.

    If you’re a parent, you’re likely well-aware of the protocol. You post a photo of your cute little guy, and you tag your partner or spouse in the photo. That way, the photo is tied to both you and your partner and friends of both will likely see the photo in their feeds. Today, Facebook is changing that protocol.

    Starting now, you can create a special tag for your child. It’s not a profile (those under 13 are technically forbidden to have profiles), but the tag will point people toward your kid’s new Scrapbook page. This is completely optional. If you want, you can keep tagging how you’ve always tagged. But if you’ve always wanted your kid to have its own Facebook presence, here’s your chance.

    Here’s how it will work. If you want to create a Scrapbook for your kid, head to your profile, click “About” and look at your “Family and Relationships” section. There, you’ll have a choice to add a new Scrapbook. You can enter in your kid’s real name, initials, a nickname – whatever. If you wanted to create a scrapbook for your pets, I guess you could do that as well (update: pets confirmed).

    Your next step is to choose whether or not you’re going to let someone else (presumably, your partner) have access to your kid’s Scrapbook too.

    “Only you and [your partner] can tag [your child]. Tagging [your child] in a photo is just like tagging yourself and [your partner]. Your friends and [your partner]’s friends will be able to see it,” says Facebook.

    More from Facebook on the Scrapbook privacy (there is none, just on each individual photo):

    “You can tag your child in your photos or in other people’s photos. When you tag your child, anyone in the audience of the photo can see the tag just like any other tag. Tagging your child in a photo is just like tagging yourself, and will add your friends to the audience of the photo. If you’ve added a partner to your child’s scrapbook, your partner and their friends will also be added to audience of the photo.

    “Your child’s scrapbook doesn’t have its own privacy setting, but the individual photos do. When people visit a scrapbook, they’ll only see a photo if they’re included in that photo’s audience. The profile and cover photo of your child’s scrapbook are visible to anyone who can see at least one photo in the scrapbook.”

    Your friends will soon be able to follow your Scrapbook so they don’t miss any pics you post of aforementioned cute little dude.

    Long story short, Facebook is giving parents a cleaner way to compile all of their kids’ photos on the site. It’s also forcing parents to declare they are parents and to whom – but what Facebook feature isn’t about gathering more data? This should be rolling out today on desktop, iOS, and Android.

  • Justin Bieber in Trouble Again, Sued by Uber Driver

    Justin Bieber is in trouble again, without having done anything new to get into trouble. The ‘Baby‘ singer has worked hard at improving his image–and he really has stayed out of trouble. However some of that old trouble is coming back to bite him in the rear end.

    In December of 2013, Justin Bieber was accused by a Toronto SUV limousine driver of assault. Now the driver has filed a lawsuit against the pop star.

    The driver, Abdul Mohar, is asking for $850,000 in damages, and is also seeking a court order that will prevent Justin Bieber from coming within 100 meters of him, according to documents filed in Toronto on Friday.

    Mohar claims that after he picked up a group of six men via the transportation app Uber, back on December 30, 2013 in Toronto, a man he later identified as Justin Bieber punched him in the head because he refused to turn the music in the vehicle up louder.

    “I was like, ‘What’s going on, is this guy out of his mind?’,” Mohar said during an interview with the Toronto Star.

    Brian Greenspan is the lawyer representing Justin Bieber in this case, and he says the suit is “totally without merit.”

    “During the course of the incident, while speaking with the 911 operator, the limousine driver had, in fact, identified his alleged assailant, who was still present, as black. After a careful assessment of the evidence, the Crown attorney withdrew the charge,” Greenspan said in an emailed statement.

    Justin Bieber has yet to file a statement of defense with regard to this lawsuit.

    It will be interesting to see if the Uber driver who filed this lawsuit against Justin Bieber can explained why he initially identified his assailant as being a black man, but now says he’s a white man with blonde hair instead.

    Do you expect this might be an unfounded case of an Uber driver trying to get some of Justin Bieber’s money, or might the singer be in big trouble yet again?

  • Woman Who Cut Out Baby After Luring Mother on Craigslist Won’t Face Murder Charges

    A decision not to file murder charges against a woman accused of cutting a seven-month-old fetus from its mother’s womb is setting off debates over so-called “fetal homicide laws.”

    Earlier this month we told you the horrifying story of a woman who lured a pregnant woman to her home with a Craigslist ad for used baby clothing. When she arrived, she was beaten and stabbed. It ended with 34-year-old Dynel Lane cutting 26-year-old Michelle Wilkins’ unborn baby from her womb and leaving her there to die. Wilkins didn’t die, however. After spending some time in critical condition she was just recently released from the hospital.

    According to police, Lane had been telling her family that she was pregnant for some time. When her husband came home he found Lane covered in blood. The baby was in the upstairs bathtub. She told him she had a miscarriage, which is also what she told doctors when she took the baby to the hospital. It didn’t survive.

    According to District Attorney Stan Garnett, the decision on what charges to file is a tough one, but murder is not an option due to the state of Colorado’s fetal homicide laws. In Colorado, a baby must show signs of life outside the womb to be considered a victim in a homicide.

    “Under Colorado law, essentially, there is no way murder charges can be brought if it’s not established that the fetus lived as a child outside the body of the mother,” he said.

    David Beller, a Denver defense attorney, says the charges present a complex legal challenge and deciding which ones to file is “incredibly complicated.”

    “In my experience, doctors (can) tell pretty readily whether or not the baby actually took a breath and if the lungs expanded,” he said. “I think the legal questions are going to turn to her conduct after the fact.”

    Beller said that “multiple issues” were likely at play in deciding what charges to file. He added that while there is a great deal of legal precedent in fetal death cases, there isn’t much that equates to last week’s case.

    There are 37 states that label the killing of a fetus as homicide in some cases. Twenty nine of those offer full coverage to the unborn through all periods of pre-natal development. Eight offer partial coverage – depending on the stage of development. Colorado is not one of those states.

    What Colorado does have on the books are laws that make the intentional killing of a pregnant woman an aggravating factor, as well as those that “specify that a court shall sentence a defendant convicted of committing specified offenses against a pregnant woman, if the defendant knew or reasonably should have known that the victim was pregnant, to a term of at least the midpoint, but not more than twice the maximum, of the presumptive range for the punishment of the offense” and “establishing that a court shall sentence a defendant convicted of assault in the third degree to a term of imprisonment of at least six months, but not longer than the maximum sentence authorized for the offense, if the victim of the assault was a pregnant woman and the defendant knew or should have known that the victim was pregnant.”

    For pro-choicers, fetal homicide laws represent a slippery slope to curtailing abortion rights.

    For the pro-lifers, this tragic case is an example of the need for such laws and many blame the other side for interfering in their passage.

    This is already political, but it’s probably best to think about the human consequences first. A woman is lucky to be alive and now has to deal with one of the most traumatic experiences one can imagine for the rest of her life.

    Justin Bieber was long teased about his puppy love romance with Selena Gomez, but now he’s enjoying some real puppy love. The ‘Baby’ singer has a new puppy, and he shared a photo of her on his Instagram account on Sunday night.

    It wasn’t so long ago that Justin Bieber was teased mercilessly during the filming of his upcoming Comedy Central roast. Do you suppose he decided he needed some puppy love to ease his pain?

    Regardless of the reason behind getting a new puppy, the photo is sweet. It shows the little furry creature curled up in the crook of the Biebs’s heavily tattooed arm.

    Earlier on Monday, Justin noted that it was National Puppy Day, and so he shared yet another Instagram post of Esther.

    “Today is randomly national puppy day,” he captioned this shot, that isn’t all that different from the first, making it pretty clear how Justin Bieber has spent the past couple of days.

    Justin Bieber lost his dog Sammy back in December. Perhaps he decided it was time to allow another furry friend into his heart and home.

    “R.i.p Sammy, you were the best puppy ever,” he captioned the following photo of a much younger Justin with his beloved pet.

    Animals can provide much love and comfort in ways non-pet owners can’t even fathom. How nice that Justin Bieber has chosen this new puppy with whom to share his love.

  • Woman Lures Pregnant Woman with Craigslist Ad, Cuts Out Baby

    Online marketplace Craigslist has a reputation for attracting some pretty odd characters – some with severely bad intentions. The latest Craigslist-related crime story comes out of Colorado and it’s absolutely terrifying.

    A 26-year-old Longmont, CO, woman is in the hospital recovering after she was brutally beaten and stabbed after answering a Craigslist ad of a woman looking to sell baby clothes. The suspect, 34-year-old Dynel Lane, cut her unborn baby from her womb. The victim was around seven months pregnant.

    According to police, the pregnant victim went to Lane’s house following a Craigslist ad for baby clothes. But when she arrived, she was immediately attacked. Lane, who was once a certified nurse’s aide, then cut the baby from her body and left her there bleeding. Lane apparently took the baby to the hospital, claiming to have had a miscarriage.

    The baby did not survive the attack. The victim is expected to recover.

    “Officers arrived on scene and could hear a female calling for help inside the home. Officers entered the home and located a female who had been beaten and stabbed in the stomach,” Longmont police told FOX31 Denver. “It was later learned, the female was pregnant and her baby had been removed. The victim was transported to the Longmont United Hospital where she underwent surgery and is expected to recover.”

    Apparently police have a motive, but aren’t releasing it as of yet. From The Washington Post:

    Investigators have “a pretty good idea” of the motivation of the suspect, [Longmont Police Commander] Jeff Satur told The Post in a Thursday morning phone call. Although Satur declined to discuss details, he said “it would be something everybody would think.”

    This extremely troubling story is just another reminder to be careful when dealing with strangers online. This sort of Craigslist bait-and-attack happens more often than you might think.

    If you don’t pay attention to the incredibly odd promo image above, Samsung has done something pretty cool – for the first time (it’s claiming), someone has watched a birth live-stream in virtual reality.

    Make no mistake, this is a six minute ad for Samsung’s Gear VR. But it is a neat use of the technology. It might pull at your heartstrings a little bit – if you’re inclined to have those tugged on occasion.

    The story goes like this: Jason and Alison were about to welcome their third child, but Jason’s work took him all the way across Australia and made it impossible for him to be there at the birth. This was terrible and depressing, naturally. Then, Samsung swooped in and saved the day by setting up multi-directional cameras in the delivery room and giving Jason a Gear VR headset.

    “Sometimes barriers like distance keep people from being part of experiences that no one wants to miss. So we decided to help two people come together in a completely new way to let them share one of life’s most profound moments. Welcome to the world’s first live virtual reality birth using the Samsung Gear VR,” says Samsung.

    Justin Bieber turned 21 on March 1st, and in addition to renting out a Caribbean island for his birthday bash, he danced topless with his guests. The ‘Baby’ singer, who long dated singer and actress Selena Gomez, was in the company of some gorgeous ladies for his 21st birthday bash. In addition to Hailey Baldwin, (some say he and Baldwin are dating, others say the two are simply BFFs) former flame Yovanna Ventura was in attendance, too. Buddies Alfredo Flores, Matthew Espinosa, Ryan Butler, and Soundz rounded out the guest list.

    It wasn’t too long ago that Justin Bieber made a series of visits to Ellen DeGeneres on her daytime talk show, clearly in hopes of improving his image. Do you think he ruined any of the good he did while visiting Ellen during his 21st birthday party?

    Justin doesn’t seem to have done anything any other 21-year-old wouldn’t do when celebrating the milestone birthday. He and his friends opened bottles of champagne and Corona at midnight on February 28th, to celebrate the March 1st birthday.

    Justin Bieber thanked his many friends and fans via Twitter, for the birthday love they shared.

    Earlier in December, Selena said during an interview that she is, in fact, a single lady. She also added that she has “so much respect and love” for Justin.

    A source recently told E! News that the singer-actress is “trying to put him [Justin] behind her,” but as anyone who’s ever been romantically involved likely knows–that’s so much easier said than done.

    “It’s hard because they have just so much history,”the source said. “It is a process…”

    Selena’s relationship with Justin Bieber has always been “up and down,” according to the source. Sometimes even getting a text from the ‘Baby’ singer can create an emotionally difficult moment in her day.

    Selena Gomez has a great support system, however—including BFF Taylor Swift. She is also “very active in her church,” which is something she and Justin often did together.

    Selena will always be a Belieber, however, regardless of what their true relationship status may be.

    “I support him. I think I always will,” she said during an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show. “I’m upset when he’s upset, I’m happy when he’s happy. I don’t want anything to ever happen to him bad. It hurts me. That’s all.”

  • Hayden Panettiere Gives Birth, But Won’t Walk the Wedding Aisle Until Baby Weight Is Gone

    Hayden Panettiere is “over the moon and madly in love!” Those were her own words about her new baby girl. Panettiere’s new baby Kaya Evdokia Klitschko weighed 7 lbs., 14 oz. at birth, and was 20 inches.

    Panettiere had played the pregnancy pretty close to the vest, only accidentally revealing the gender of the baby at the Emmy Awards.

    “I can’t wait for her to come out, this little one,” Panettiere told interviewer Giuliana Rancic.

    “It’s a girl?” Rancic asked. “I think I just said that, didn’t I?” Panettiere laughed. “Yes, it’s a little girl.”

    As the months went on, Panettiere grew eager. She has had a great career and felt confident about her ability to raise a daughter who could do anything she wanted.

    “I’m so ready to hold my baby girl—I’m going to be a very hands on mom,” she told Hello! magazine. “I’m thrilled that I am having a girl first because I feel like I know a lot about raising a strong woman. I feel very empowered myself and I think my daughter will, too.”

    As for the baby’s name, Panettiere had to consider the heritages involved. Her finacé Wladimir Klitschko is Ukrainian. Klitschko is a Ukrainian heavyweight professional boxer — the longest-reigning Ukrainian champ in history, in fact — so they wanted their daughter to have a name that worked in both Ukrainian and English.

    “We have to make sure that it is American and Ukrainian all at the same time,” Panettiere said back in November. “That’s a little rough…we’re still working on it.”

    Panettiere and Klitschko are engaged, but Panettiere said she is not in a hurry to run down the aisle until she sheds the baby weight.

    “I’ll tell you one thing for sure: I am not walking down the aisle 40 pounds heavier than usual in a wedding dress with a huge pregnancy belly stitched in,” she told E!. “Not happening.”

    Back in November she talked about the extra weight. But there was one plus.

    “I’m five feet, two inches,” she said, “and I started out at 106 pounds and guess how much I weigh now? Around 145 pounds. And the worst part is that my feet are still size five and they’re going, ‘What’s going on with all this weight?’ They’re about to snap from underneath me with the strain. I’m still quite muscular, so if you’re running around carrying 40 pounds of extra weight, you’re going to build extra muscle.”

    In the upcoming musical Into the Woods, Emily Blunt plays a baker’s wife who is desperate to have a child but can’t because of a curse placed upon her and her husband by a witch played by Meryl Streep. In a strange twist of fate, Blunt found out that she was actually pregnant with her first child while they were shooting the film! In an interview with Disney twenty-three, a publication for Disney’s official fan club, Blunt and Streep revealed how they managed to hide the pregnancy during filming.

    “That was pretty funny,” Streep said in the interview. “They were constantly putting James Corden [the Baker] in front of her belly, raising her apron higher and higher.” Blunt talked about the other ways they managed to hide her baby bump when she was starting show. “I was hiding behind every tree in that wood,” the actress joked. “Colleen Atwood, who’s the most remarkable costume designer, as everybody knows, was so accommodating. I would say towards the end, every four or five days they were making some adjustments.”

    Blunt added that her actual pregnancy helped her understand her role even more. She said in the same interview, “The fact that I was pregnant actually was a rather transporting thing, and a very helpful experience in a way to understanding the urgent need that this woman has for a baby. Here I was, feeling incredibly blessed and understanding what the character maybe is missing out on.”

    The actress and first time mom married actor John Krasinski in Italy back in 2010. Earlier this year, Blunt finally gave birth to their first child Hazel. Three months after the birth, Krasinski shared a picture of their little girl on Twitter with the caption, “Pics of kids should only come direct from parents. So I’m thrilled to introduce you guys to Hazel!!!”

    Justin Bieber is cooking up something special, and it seems to be his love for Selena Gomez. The couple–once known as Jelena–dated pretty steadily for a couple of years starting back in 2010. They officially split in 2012, but have seen one another off and on during that span of time. Now it seems the ‘Baby’ singer and the Spring Breakers star are a bona fide couple once again, with rumors of permanence in the wind. In addition for his love for Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber was actually spotted–via an Instagram clip he posted to his account–cooking up something in the kitchen for her in recent days.

    “Lol chef bieber,” Justin captioned the clip.

    You’ll see a very pleased looking Justin surrounded by some rather fresh and healthy looking ingredients–wielding a knife that looks like it cost a pretty penny in a posh kitchen store.

    It may be a bit difficult to understand all of what Justin Bieber is saying in the clip, so here’s the scoop.

    “As you can see, I’m cooking organic chicken breast,” he says, pointing to the bits of simmering chicken.

    “Chop it up, chop it up,” he says next.

    “I know what I’m doing,” he says, jokingly pointing the knife toward Selena. “Hey, step away from the stove.”

    Selena Gomez isn’t visibly discernible in the clip, but the L.A. Times reports that it is in fact the ‘Come & Get It’ singer and former Wizards of Waverly Place actress in the kitchen.

    Do you suppose Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez will really make a go of it this time? The two have long been positively adorable together, but Selena couldn’t deal with Justin’s ridiculously childish–not to mention illegal–ways.

    Some outlets report that the two will soon be moving in together.

    Maybe the couple that cooks together stays together? This could be the turning over of a new leaf (and not a marijuana one this time) in Justin Bieber’s life.

    On Friday actress Eva Mendes gave birth to a baby girl in Los Angeles, according to Us Weekly. She and her boyfriend, actor Ryan Gosling, had kept the pregnancy under wraps despite rumors circulating that they were indeed expecting a child.

    Mendes and Gosling are reportedly thrilled to have the baby with them and both shed tears when they met her for the first time, according to an insider that spoke to E! News. “It was very emotional for Eva and Ryan. They were both in tears when they saw their daughter for the first time!” the source said.

    “She’s so good with kids and has been wanting this a really long time. When she found out she was having a girl, she was freaking out. She kind of wanted a girl deep down, but of course just wants a happy and healthy baby! Ryan is saying he is going to be overpowered with girls in the house and is gonna have to be extra manly around the house!” added the insider.

    Mendes and Gosling were extremely private about the pregnancy, and the 40-year-old star of Hitch even denied that she was pregnant on Ellen in February, when she was already a few weeks along. “It all started because I didn’t want to go through the scanners at the airport,” she said on the show. She explained at the time that she would always opt out of that part of security checks. However, in July, rumors centered on her pregnancy swirled again.

    Sources tell E! News that the new mother keeps telling friends and family “how in love she is” with her daughter, and many are saying the baby has Mendes’ features, according to a source.

    “They are both so happy and in love. They wanted to start a family for a while now,” said the source of Mendes and Gosling, who have been dating since 2011.

    The healthy mama has even been keeping up her workouts as the couple prepare for the arrival of baby number two. Vanessa Lachey knows how to do it right! The timing is just right for this baby to come. She said earlier of planning a family, “You don’t want them so far apart that they have nothing in common.”

    It was Nick that broke the news that he and Vanessa Lachey were expecting a baby girl this time around.

    The couple has thus far had a great marriage and it’s fun to watch their family grow! Vanessa Lachey loves her husband and it shows! She recently said of Nick,

    “The man I knew I was going to marry was not only a great man, a good friend, and a family guy, but he was going to respect and treat me well and be an amazing father and role model to our children,” she said. “That’s Nick.”

    That’s so sweet. As far as her healthy lifestyle, I’m sure Vanessa Lachey passes those values on to her little family. Congrats to the Lachey family and good luck with their new baby girl!

  • Drew Barrymore Shares First Pics Of Baby Frankie

    Drew Barrymore is finally sharing pictures of the newest addition to her family.

    On Thursday, Drew tweeted a picture of herself holding her two daughters, one-year-old Olive and two-month-old Frankie. Drew is seen wearing a white t-shirt that reads “Mother of Dragons.” She captioned the photo by saying: “Get this Mother of Dragons T-Shirt. All proceeds go to help employment for Foster kids in LA.”

    Drew and her husband Will Kopelman welcomed their second daughter on Tuesday, April 22. “Happy to announce that today we are the proud parents of our second daughter, Frankie Barrymore Kopelman,” Barrymore announced in a statement at the time of Frankie’s birth. “Olive has a new little sister, and everyone is healthy and happy!”

    Drew has never been one to really be open with her personal life. However, with this pregnancy, she revealed a lot more details, including how little Olive was handling the news. “She [Olive] definitely gets it,” Drew said of the pregnancy. “She points to my stomach and goes ‘baby.’ How cool is that?”

    Barrymore also revealed that she was relieved to be having another girl. “I’m relieved I’m having another girl. I have everything I need. It’s all about hand-me-downs and room sharing and all that stuff,” she said about being a mom to two girls. “I’m pretty psyched about that!”

    Frankie made her pictorial debut on the cover of the May edition of PEOPLE magazine. In the article Drew opened up about life as a mother to two, and how she is coping juggling her time between her daughters. “I knew that I have two kids to take care of now and just kicked my own butt to get back into the swing of things immediately,” she said. “They’re awake and asleep at different times, or awake at the same time,” she continued. “It’s a juggling act a little bit.”

  • Bride Ties Baby To Wedding Dress, Drags Down Aisle

    Bringing a whole new sense to wedding fashion, a Jacksonville, Tennessee woman strapped her newborn daughter to the tail-end of her gown as an accessory.  Like a tatter tot trapped rolling on a conveyor belt in limbo, the baby went dragging down the wedding aisle; someone took a picture, uploaded it, and the online community responded in uproar.

    Commenters on YouTube mentioned the act was “incredibly dangerous” and that the newlyweds should be reported to child protective series.

    After the wedding, Carter-Brooks typed and posted on Facebook in response to the overwhelming comments:

    “People questioning what we do, commenting all negative, and just doing the most. We good though we covered by the Blood which never loose its power. So to the media, radio, news, and whomever else wanting to talk about what WE do here you go: Media Media I see how it works regardless the situation or purpose people gone have something negative to say!”

    “The answer is we do what we want, when we want, as long as Jesus on our side everything worked out fine and gona continue to be fine,” she continued.

    Carter-Brooks went on to note that her daughter was unharmed:“Our 1 month old was awake and well secured on my train.”

    “Most important while yall got ya feelings in us we had our hearts in Christ which covers all!! So keep ya mouths running for it was just that Exclusive and Epic enough we made top blog way from small town Ripley, TN and the social media doing what they do, TALK!!!! Too bless for mess!! Thank God we aint no celebrities oops got fans, guess we is!”

    Not everyone responded adamantly towards Carter-Brooks’ choice. One friend of the newlywed, who attended the wedding, typed: “Shona and Johnathan Brooks your wedding was super perfect from the groom and his men and you and your diva’s baby you rock the gown and the princess tagging behind you it brought tears to my eyes. Regardless of anybody else dream your’s came true. I loved it and thank you for inviting me.”

  • Bride Drags Baby Down Aisle As Part Of Train

    According to tradition, a blushing bride needs “something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.”

    One bride took “new” to a rather controversial extreme.

    Shona Carter-Brooks was ecstatic to be marrying the love of her life, Johnathon Brooks. The two tied the knot in a Tennessee church back in May.

    She even walked down the aisle in a gorgeous Vera Wang wedding dress.

    For many brides-to-be, this would have been enough.

    However, it seemed Carter-Brooks really wanted her newborn child, Aubrey, to be part of this special occasion.

    Rather than carry the infant down the aisle in her arms, she took a far less conventional approach.

    Carter-Brooks had little Aubrey sewn into her wedding dress. In images, you can clearly see the adorable little baby in the train.

    This means the baby girl was quite literally dragged down the aisle.

    Some guests were impressed by the gesture.

    “Congrats on the beautiful wedding sweetie,” wrote Val Bradford. “That was something new that I haven’t seen and [it] was too cute.”

    Others were more than a little horrified at the sight.

    With images of the wedding popping up all over the social media of people who were in attendance, it was really only a matter of time before the images went viral.

    There is, not too surprisingly, quite a bit of of public outcry over the decision. What if the bride had tripped? What if the baby was somehow injured? It didn’t strike certain observers as a safe or sensible way to help the infant feel “included” in the day’s special events.

    The indignant bride hit-back at critics.

    Said Carter-Brooks:

    Media…I see how it works regardless the situation or purpose people gone having something negative to say! […] Our 1 month old was awake and well secured on my train.

    Her defense doesn’t make the decision seem any less tacky to some, however it seems the bride, groom, and baby are happy. Even if the internet remains doubtful of the logic behind her choice.

    Man Catches Baby That Fell From Window

    It was one of those hair-raising moments that could have ended in tragedy, but thankfully didn’t.

    An infant climbed out of a second-story window during a storm and lost his balance. Luckily, a heroic stranger was there to prevent the very young child from being harmed.

    The incident was captured on a nearby CCTV camera and was later uploaded to the internet.

    The YouTube video of the baby being rescued was posted on May 22nd and is already at over 900,000 views.

    In the video, a man identified as Mr. Li is seen walking down the street in the middle of an intense thunderstorm. Li looks up and spots a 1-year-old infant that has climbed onto a window ledge.

    It’s quite possible the little guy was terrified by the storm and was looking for his mother, who apparently had stepped away momentarily.

    In the video you can see Li and concerned neighbors panicking, trying to signal to the infant to go back into his home.

    They also grab what items they can, such as cardboard boxes and an ottomans, to try their best to cushion the fall of the youngster should he lose his balance.

    Finally, Li reaches up, preparing to catch the child should he fall. With the ledge growing slippery from the falling rain, inevitably the baby came tumbling down.

    You can tell when the slip occurred based on the horrified expressions of the adults below.

    Li moved quickly to position himself (as did another neighbor named Mr. Hu) and the infant was captured by the startled man.

    The adults gather around to ensure that the baby was okay. At the end of the video, the relieved young mother can be seen carrying in the infant away.

    Said Li, “I didn’t think too much at the time. I was just afraid of failing to catch him.” He added, “It was nothing but human instinct to do so.”

    Human instinct or not, Li is a hero to at least two people today: A young mother and a baby who may not have lived to see birthday number two had it not been for the man’s quick thinking and reflexes.

  • Michelle Duggar: Is Baby Number 20 On Its Way?

    Michelle Duggar and her husband Jim Bob Duggar have announced that they would like to have more children if God saw it fit.

    The couple, who star on the TLC reality series 19 Kids and Counting, already have 19 children and 3 grandchildren.

    “We would love more children if God saw fit to give us more,” Michelle said in a clip from their newest episode. “I just want to make sure that I am ready to catch a baby if that would happen.”

    Michelle and Jim Bob recently visited fertility doctor and high-risk OB-GYN Paul Wendel in Little Rock, Arkansas to find out what their chances of conceiving another child looked like, and to find out if it would be safe for Michelle to get pregnant again at her age.

    In 2011, Michelle became pregnant and carried the child until 19 weeks when, unfortunately, she suffered a miscarriage. They also struggled with their youngest child Josie’s birth, when she was born nearly four months early, due to Michelle’s severe bout with preeclampsia.

    Dr. Wendel said that pregnancies become riskier with age, and with Michelle now 47-years-old, she could be looking at a risky pregnancy if they chose to conceive another child. “We do see occasionally pregnancies in women who are 47, 48, 49, even 50 but they are very unusual,” he said.

    Michelle knows that she may not be able to have more children, but says she will welcome another baby with open arms if God decided they should have another. “If I am in that season of life where we’re not able to have any more, then I’m fine, I’m happy with that,” she explained. “But if there are things physically I need to know, that I need to do, health wise just to be ready to catch a baby if God saw fit to give us one.”

    19 Kids and Counting is currently airing their 8th season. New episodes air on Tuesday nights on TLC.

  • Baby 11-Story Fall: Child Survives Fall from Balcony

    In what can only be described as a miracle, a baby survived an 11-story fall from the balcony of an apartment building in Minneapolis. Fifteen-month-old Musa Dayib is believed to have slipped through the rails of his family’s apartment balcony, where he plunged around 100 feet to the ground. While such a fall would have a very different outcome in most cases, Musa survived and is expected to recover.

    The baby fell 11 stories to the ground on Sunday night. His father, Guled Ahmed, was reportedly grabbing something from the kitchen when his daughter saw Musa lying on the ground and told her dad that the baby fell. After Ahmed ran downstairs, he found his son on the ground in a pile of mulch, still breathing and just inches from a sidewalk.

    The baby that survived the 11-story fall is recovering in the hospital. Even though young Musa has a concussion and several broken bones and is in critical condition, he is expected to recover.

    “Little (kids) are more flexible and don’t break as easily as we do and he also fell in a very small patch of mulch,” Dr. Tina Slusher said, explaining why Musa could survive a fall that would kill most people. “It’s definitely a miracle. It’s God’s gift to his family. Kids don’t fall this far and make it often. Especially without a serious brain injury. You or I would’ve been dead.”

    Even though the 11-story fall could have certainly had a much different ending for the baby, it is possible that the accident could have been avoided had the owners of the Riverside Plaza apartment building updated the building’s balconies during a recent renovation. The balcony rails were spaced 5.5 inches apart; the current state building code for rail spacing is 4 inches apart. The rails on the Riverside Plaza balconies met code when it was constructed, and the state of Minnesota doesn’t require building owners to make changes when the code is updated.

    “I don’t think my brother and his wife will recover from this. They really torture themselves,” said Abdirahim Ahmed, Guled’s brother. “How can we protect the kids that stay in here? Something gotta be done. Something gotta be done.”

    George Sherman, the the president of the company that manages Riverside Plaza, said that they plan to put more safety features in place to hopefully avoid future accidents. “(We are) looking at more permanent locks that the fire department approves,” Sherman said.
