  • Yolanda Foster: Hubby Thinks She Should Quit ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ as Lyme Disease Worsens

    Yolanda Foster is becoming sicker with each passing day. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is battling some very serious Lyme disease symptoms, and her husband believes she should quit the show.

    Radar Online reports that filming for RHOBH is scheduled to begin this summer, and composer David Foster thinks his wife is too sick to take part in it.

    “David has told Yolanda there is just no way she can return to the show because her condition is just getting worse. The Lyme disease is just ravaging her, and traveling for the international medical treatments is taking a toll,” a source says.

    “Yolanda is extremely weak, and her memory is suffering,” the source adds. “David is just being protective because he doesn’t want any of the ladies to use her illness against her, as he knows those women are vicious.”

    Yolanda Foster, mother of daughters Bella and Gigi Hadid, as well as son Anwar Hadid, has a soft spot for young people. She has recently provided some comfort as well as counsel to rocker Avril Lavigne, who also suffers from Lyme disease.

    A source close to Yolanda Foster fears it will crush her if she can’t return to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

    “It will break Yolanda’s heart if she can’t be on RHOBH because she wants to use the platform to raise awareness about the illness.”

    Surely Yolanda Foster will find other ways to raise awareness about Lyme disease. If filming the show is too much for her, then her husband is right to urge her to quit. Maintaining her health for her own well-being as well as that of her family is far more important than appearing on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

  • Lyme Disease Kept Avril Lavigne in Bed for Five Months

    Lyme disease kept Avril Lavigne bedridden for months. While the Canadian singer suffered in silence for most of the time, she tweeted a message to a fan a few weeks back that went viral and revealed to the world that she had long been ill.

    During her illness, there were rumors that she and husband Chad Kroeger of Nickelback had split or were about to split. Kroeger denied this, but never mentioned that his wife was suffering in the throes of lyme disease.

    Now Avril Lavigne is talking about her experience with lyme disease. She told People Magazine recently that her symptoms were debilitating.

    “I could barely eat, and when we went to the pool, I had to leave and go lie in bed. My friends asked, ‘What’s wrong?’ I didn’t know. I had no idea a bug bite could do this,” says Lavigne. “I was bedridden for five months.”

    Lavigne believes that her lyme disease was caused by a tick bite several months ago. The Centers for Disease Control describes the symptoms that can come from undetected lyme disease as incredibly difficult.

    In its early stages typical symptoms include fever, headache, fatigue, and a characteristic skin rash, But if left untreated, infection can spread to joints, the heart, and the nervous system.

    “I felt like I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t talk and I couldn’t move,” Avril Lavigne says. “I thought I was dying. There were definitely times I couldn’t shower for a full week because I could barely stand. It felt like having all your life sucked out of you.”

    Most cases of Lyme disease can be treated successfully with a few weeks of antibiotics. But if undetected, some patients report recurrent pain in their bones, joints or periarticular soft tissues. It can develop into full-blown arthritis.

    Even now, Avril Lavigne says she is not quite fully recovered from her bout of lyme disease.

    “I’m 80 percent better,” she says. “This was a wake-up call. I really just want to enjoy life from here on out.”

  • Yolanda Foster Supports Avril Lavigne In Lyme Disease Battle

    Yolanda Foster, one of the stars of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and mom to model Gigi Hadid, announced her support for singer Avril Lavigne on Wednesday after Lavigne revealed to People Magazine that she’s battling Lyme Disease.

    Foster tweeted a shoutout to Lavigne; the support comes one day after Foster left the set of the Real Housewives reunion because she became upset while talking about her struggle with the disease. The former model has opened up about her battle in the past, saying that she and her husband have traveled to South Korea in an attempt to find better treatment, as her condition has worsened over the years to the point where she can’t read, write, or watch television because it’s extremely difficult to process information. Foster reportedly contracted the disease after a bacterial infection spread throughout her body from a tick bite, the most common carrier.

    “They have the freedom to work with stem cells,” Foster said of South Korea. “You can’t get those treatments here, and I think with Lyme it takes antibiotics but it also takes a lot of holistic treatment to balance it out.”

    While many suffer from the disease–in various stages, it can bring fatigue, muscle pain, and cognitive issues among other ailments–a lot of people don’t know much about it or understand the problems it can cause. In the recent documentary The Punk Singer, former Bikini Kill singer Kathleen Hanna revealed that she was forced to put her career on hold because of her own battle with the disease and the issues she had with medications.

    Foster wrote this week on her blog that she doesn’t know what the future holds for her, but she will continue to try to find a cure.

    “The path forward isn’t completely clear. As I turn each corner, new obstacles arise, but I am a determined warrior, and even though this has brought me to my knees, I know God often uses our deepest pain as the launching pad of our greatest calling. So even though my life may not be perfect for now, I try to find a blessing in every day. Watching my children grow and establishing themselves into the world is my greatest joy and drive to continue to fight until I find my cure,” Yolanda Foster wrote.

  • Avril Lavigne Poses Topless for Xmas [Pic]; ‘I’m Not in Rehab’

    Avril Lavigne recently made it into the news when she was rumored to be in rehab for some drug problem.

    Previously, Lavigne’s husband, Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger, had to fend of rumors that the couple was splitting.

    Apparently the former issue came about when Lavigne herself told a fan on Twitter: “I’m not feeling well. I’m having some health issues. So please keep me in your prayers.”

    The mysterious request sent Lavigne’s fan base into a tizzy, with people wondering just how serious her health issues might be to request prayers.

    It did not take long for the rumor mill to turn to thoughts of drug addiction and rehab. But Lavigne herself took to Twitter again to dispel those bits of speculation.

    More recently, Lavigne sought to prove that she was in good health and spirits by posting more pics to Twitter. One was of a topless Avril, covering herself with a teddy bear.

    Thanks to Lavigne’s 17.5 million Twitter followers, the photo has been retweeted over 3,700 times, and “favorited” almost 6,000 times.

    But Lavigne’s fans are not necessarily scrambling after the lascivious. She posted this pic the same day, and it has almost double the stats: 6,900 retweets, and 12,000 favorites.

    As for hubby Chad Kroeger’s response to all the rumors, particularly those about his not wearing a wedding ring, he says:

    “You know my dad calls me up, and he’s just like, ‘I haven’t slept in two days, what’s going on?’ I’m like, ‘Dad you’re not buying all this crap are you?’ You know, I get to hear all the rumor mill stuff. So it’s, it’s…I find it very amusing.”

    “When you get out of high school, and it’s like ‘Ugh, OK.’ All that rumor crap. All that stuff that people say behind each other’s backs is minuscule, pales in comparison to the world of, you know, celebrity or being married to a celebrity. That’s high school multiplied exponentially. It’s ridiculous.”

    But wait, Chad. what about the missing wedding ring?

    “You know what? They come off. And they go back on and then come off and then go back on. What does that mean?”

    Then Kroeger decided to fight fire with fire.

    “Wait, let’s start a new rumor… I’m pregnant.”

  • Avril Lavigne Opens Up About Health Problems

    Avril Lavigne has been struggling with some health issues for a while now, but she has kept pretty quiet about the problems.

    She recently apologized to her fans for her absence on Twitter and asked for them to keep her in their prayers.

    Although she did admit to having health problems, she didn’t share what they are and asked that everyone respect her privacy while she gets healthy.

    “I feel bad because I haven’t been able to say anything to the fans to let them no [sic] why I’ve been absent. I’m torn as I’m quite private…. I’m not feeling well. I’m having some health issues. So please keep me in your prayers” she posted on Twitter.

    Lavigne got married last summer but it wasn’t long before rumors about relationship problems began to swirl. When Lavigne wasn’t seen out with her husband for several weeks, the rumors spread even faster.

    It appears that Lavigne’s absence from shows and outings with her husband may be related to her health and not necessarily to marital problems.

    Hopefully Lavigne will be able to get the help she needs for her health problems and get back on track with her life. Her fans are anxious to see her perform and release new music and it seems like she is anxious to make them all happy.

    Nickelback front man Chad Kroeger is pretty sick of the rumor mill mucking around with is life and relationships. Kroeger is married to singer Avril Lavigne, which makes them prime targets for tabloid busybodiness.

    Back in October, someone noticed that Kroeger was not wearing his wedding ring. Alarms went off everywhere, Were Chad and Avril on the splits?

    One of those ubiquitous “inside sources” spilled all the juicy details.

    “Things still aren’t good. But Avril’s friends are encouraging her to try and work it out. They don’t like Chad, but she’s already been through one painful divorce and they don’t want to see her going through another unless there’s no other option. Also, she and Chad haven’t been married that long so her friends want her to make sure she’s given it every chance before pulling the plug.”

    Kroeger recently addressed the whole thing with ET Canada.

  • Amber Heard’s Topless Pic to Johnny Depp Among Second Wave of Nude Photos Leak

    A topless picture Amber Heard sent to Johnny Depp was leaked online in a second wave of celebrity nude photos leaked yesterday, which include A-list celebrities Gabrielle Union, Kim Kardashian West, Rihanna, Kate Bosworth, Hayden Panetierre, Lake Bell, Avril Lavigne and Vanessa Hudgens.

    Heard had over 50 nude or semi-nude photographs posted onto websites 4chan and Reddit yesterday, including the private topless message to her 51-year-old fiancé.

    According to TMZ, Heard is shown topless holding up a sign directed at the Lone Ranger star, referring to him as “Tonto.”

    Meanwhile, Being Mary Jane star Union has lashed out after a private, topless photo she sent to her new husband, Dwyane Wade, was leaked online, comparing the publication of private pictures to “hate crimes.”

    The leak led the couple to contact the FBI and release a pointed statement.

    “It has come to our attention that our private moments, that were shared and deleted solely between my husband and myself, have been leaked by some vultures.

    “I can’t help but to be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of color, have been victimised, and the power over their own bodies taken from them. These atrocities against women and children continue worldwide.

    “For anyone out there also being affected by these and other hacking and hate crimes – we send our love, support and prayers. We have done nothing wrong.”

    This new wave of photos comes three weeks after another group of stars, including Jennifer Lawrence, Kaley Cuoco and Kate Upton, had photographs leaked online.

    More than 100 celebrities were affected by the scandal last month after an unidentified hacker stole private nude images and videos from Apple’s iCloud.

    Apple denies a security breach and said it was “outraged” by the attack. The tech megalith encourages users to update their accounts with a “strong” password and enable two-step verification.

  • Avril Lavigne: Is Her ‘Hello Kitty’ Video Racist?

    Avril Lavigne is causing a bit of a stir with one of her recent music videos. Called Hello Kitty, the song features the singer performing with a group of Asian dancers as she drinks sake. Some people have deemed the video racist and embarrassing.

    Other people take the song’s lyrics to be suggestive–meaning that the intent behind the title--Hello Kitty–is a double entendre. Others find the expressionless Asian dancers to be no different than using Tokyo as a prop.

    In a recent interview, Avril tried explaining the video and the title away. She said that although it is “flirtatious and somewhat sexual” it is “genuinely about my love for Hello Kitty as well!”

    Well, that might very well be the case, but it doesn’t make the production of the music video anywhere near to being politically correct.

    The Complicated singer released the new Hello Kitty video just two days ago and since then it has been removed from YouTube.

    #Avrilracist started trending on Twitter shortly after the video’s release.

    Diehard fans defended her, however.

    Others found more fault with Lavigne’s performance than with Hello Kitty as a blatantly racist piece of video.

    “Folks shouldn’t be mad at Avril for a (not really) racist video,” a source says. “They should be mad such a crappy song was produced in the 1st place.”

    Although you can’t watch Hello Kitty on YouTube any longer, it is still available for viewing on Avril Lavigne’s web site. Check it out and see whether you think the video and its content are offensive.

  • Avril Lavigne Debuts Ridiculous “Hello Kitty” Video

    Avril Lavigne this week debuted a music video for her new single “Hello Kitty.” The video’s heightened portrayal of Japan’s J-Pop culture combined with bizarre imagery has caused a stir, leading to the official video’s removal from YouTube.

    The video depicts Lavigne singing her song while dressed in a colorful “lolita“-type get-up, complete with a cupcake-emblazoned skirt. Behind her dance four dolled-up Asian women wearing their own strange clothing – though dancing may be too generous a term for the backup dancers’ movements. The video even includes a scene in which an over-excited Lavigne visits a sushi bar. The entire effect is something more reminiscent of a Katy Perry video than one from Avril Lavigne.

    The video was immediately criticized by critics and fans alike. The colorful, candy-laden images are being described as an embarrassment. Some critics are going as far as calling the video’s imagery subtly racist for its simplistic portrayal of Japanese culture.

    The sharp reaction to the video was highlighted this week on social media, where jokes about Lavigne were plentiful:

    The backlash against the video seems to have caused Vevo to panic. The official video was taken down from YouTube within hours. The video can still be viewed on Lavigne’s website, where fans of the singer have posted dozens of comments supporting the song and video. Of course, this being the internet, the video can also still be found all over YouTube.

    Avril Lavigne developed a signature look the minute she came on to the music scene in 1999.She’s known for her dark eyeliner and overall punk rocker look.The 29-year old “Here’s To Never Growing Up” singer decided to let Allure do something different with her style for their January 2014 issue.

    Lavigne’s song”Sk8er Boi”,introduced the world to her with a very tom-boyish sense of fashion.This look usually consisted of heavy eyeliner, color streaks, oversized pants and a white tank-top.Her look has evolved over the years, with age.However,she hasn’t completely transformed her look.Though her hair is mainly blonde now, she occasionally still wears pink steaks from time to time.Her look has become more girly than it once was, but she still maintains some of her famous tomboyish look elements.

    For the recent Allure magazine, she goes for a much more natural look.She straightens her hair, removes any extensions and her hair color looks closer to its natural color than it has looked since she dyed it platinum blonde. Lavigne credits her long hair with helping with her shyness. “I like to have long hair. I wear it down a lot, especially because I have more of a tomboyish style.I’m a shy person, so my hair is maybe a safety net”, says Lavigne to Allure.

    For the change of makeup aspect to her makeunder,the magazine strips her face of any heavy makeup.Lavigne claims that she uses M.AC. Smolder daily, even when she’s at home. The makeup artist kept Lavigne’s eye makeup light to keep the fresh, nature look the magazine wanted to achieve.They also didn’t put any lipstick on her, which highlights her natural lip rosiness.

    In the photoshoot,Lavigne wears a form fitting simple black dress.

    Avril Lavigne has developed a signature look for herself. Vary rarely, if ever, do you see Lavigne without her dark black eyeliner, that she has long been known for. So, to switch things up, Allure magazine decided to try something new, and give Lavigne a makeunder.

    “I wear the black eyeliner — M.A.C. Smolder — pretty much every day,” Lavigne told the magazine. “I do it when I’m just at home.” Allure took her into their own hands, to reveal Lavigne’s look, minus the eyeliner. “Today we really want to switch it up,” Lavigne said during the photo shoot. “So I didn’t have very much makeup on, and just had a modern dress [and] bangs.”

    Lavigne also revealed that she uses her long hair as a sort of safety net. “I like to have long hair. I wear it down a lot, especially because I have more of a tomboyish style. I’m a shy person, so my hair is maybe a safety net. I’m not sure, but I’ve always loved long hair,” she explained.

    Finally, when asked about how her style had grown throughout the years, Lavigne replied: “When I was a teenager, I had stick-straight hair, black eyes, Dickies, vintage T-shirts. For my second album, I started wearing bondage pants, shopping at Gothic stores, black streak in my hair. For me, that was growth. For my record The Best Damn Thing, I put pink in my hair and wore heels and dresses,” she said.

  • Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne Ready to Start Family

    Chad Kroeger, member of the band Nickelback and husband to Canadian singer Avril Lavigne, recently announced they are ready to settle down and have children of their own, as soon as they can find time.

    When the two are apart, they steer away from alcohol as well as nightclubs. They like to avoid temptation at all costs. That is, when they are apart. They do not like to be away from each other for more than two weeks at a time. Ground rules such as these are one of the main reasons why their major is so strong.

    They love to make time for each other and put a large effort into doing so and try enjoy the small things in life. “I crave the time I can snuggle up with her and watch a movie.”, Kroeger told People.

    The couple got married on the French Riveria this past July after seeing each other for just a little over one month. They have been happy ever since and even wrote multiple songs together for Lavigne’s new album.
    “We bonded like crazy. It was like we’d known each other forever. It’s a very intimate process, and you have to really open up when you’re songwriting. When it was over and I had to go work with other people, it sucked. So I called him and asked him to come back to L.A. to do some more writing with me, and he was like, ‘Hell yeah!’ ” she told People Magazine, about working with her husband, Kroeger.

    One of the first times the pair performed together was at the wedding. They surprised the audience by singing a song they wrote, “If I Said I Love You” while dancing to it.

    While Lavigne is working on promotional projects with her new album, Kroger is touring Europe with his band.

    On Monday, October 7th, punk rock girl Avril Lavigne announced to the media that she would be releasing a duet with her husband and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger titled “Let Me Go.” This new song from the duo comes after Lavigne’s other recently debuted singles “Here’s To Never Growing Up” and “Rock N Roll.” The song is slated to be included on her new album, which will be released to the public on November 5th (Source: Yahoo! OMG).

    The punk rock goddess tweeted the announcement of her latest release from her Twitter account (shown below). Shortly after her tweet, according to AceShowbiz, Lavigne broadcasted the announcement via radio on Los Angeles’ KBIG 104.3.

    The song “Let Me Go” by Lavigne and Kroeger has a different “taste” to the music that the couple is individually known for (hard and punk rock, including more of a soft ballad feel. Lavigne’s “When You’re Gone” is another ballad that the punk rocker has released in the past. The theme behind the lyrics of “Let Me Go” encompasses Lavigne and Kroeger’s own relationship. Lavigne tells Yahoo! OMG “We rewrote the last chorus to put a twist on it so we end up together. Therefore, the message of the song is more the journey of love through one’s life.”

    In an interview with EntertainmentWise, Lavigne was asked “You co-wrote your new single [Let Me Go] with your husband, as well as several other tracks on the record – has he been the main influence behind the record?” Lavigne replied:

    “I mean sure but Chad, David Hodges and myself wrote a bunch of songs together and then at the end we brought it Mark Johnson, J Cash and then a couple of other people so we did it with a whole bunch of people.”

    Danica McKellar may be known to most people as Winnie Cooper from the ’80s television show “The Wonder Years”, but she’s also the hot girl who kissed Avril Lavigne in a music video.

    McKellar appears in the vid for “Rock N Roll” as a sort of post-apocalyptic badass alongside Avril; the two get into some adventures while chasing down the bad guy (who wants to kill Rock N Roll, of course) and end up locking lips while Avril gives a very Kevin Arnold-type voiceover.

    “It was the first kiss for both of us. We never really talked about it afterward,” Lavigne says. “But, I think about the events of that day again and again, and somehow I know that Winnie does, too.”

    Lavigne made headlines earlier this year when she married Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger in the South of France.

    “The best part about the wedding is the location,” she said. “I want to make sure I really enjoy this amazing time and I want all the guests who come to have this once in a lifetime experience. I want everyone to say ‘Wow!’ and for it to be special for everyone, not just us.”

  • Avril Lavigne Gets Skrillex Hair, Talks Wedding Gown

    Avril Lavigne made headlines last month when it was announced that she’ll be marrying Nickelback frontman and fellow Canadian Chad Kroeger after just six months of dating; now she’s promising us the punk rock wedding of her dreams.

    When Lavigne married Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley in 2006, she went a somewhat more traditional route rather than following her rocker sensibilities and wore the long white dress. This time around, she says, will be different. The designer in her is coming out during the planning of the nuptials.

    “Either it’s something I’m going to design, or partner up with, collaborate with another designer. It might be something that I buy a few different dresses and rip them up and put them all together and dye them,” she said.

    No word yet on what hairstyle she’ll be going with yet, but for now she’s rockin’ the Skrillex cut with some pink and green highlights. Perfect for a wedding.

I thought that she would be done with the whole marriage thing for good. It turns out that she wants to give it one more shot with the frontman of the most reviled band on the planet.

    That’s right, folks, Avril Lavigne is now engaged to Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger. I’m sure the two found some kind of chemistry to make this work, but I’m just not seeing it. I can at least stomach, and maybe even enjoy, some of Lavigne’s more popular hits. I guess quality of music doesn’t come into play when two musicians get married.

    There is plenty of commentary to be had on the announcement, but why waste my breath? The fine folks on Twitter have sharper tongues than I.
