  • Scarlett Johansson Earns Just As Much As “Avengers” Co-Stars Chris Hemsworth And Chris Evans

Scarlett Johansson is evidently not feeling the pinch of Hollywood’s gender pay gap fiasco as much as other female stars.

In fact, Variety reports that Scarlett Johansson, while she didn’t earn Robert Downey, Jr. money, has done just as well as Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Chris Evans (Captain America) while filming the Avengers franchise.

Scarlett Johansson hasn’t been outspoken when it comes to the Hollywood gender pay gap, and apparently for good reason.

However, Scarlett Johansson clearly wasn’t as shorted as her colleague, Jennifer Lawrence.

Lawrence learned the hard way that she was being taken for a ride and she wasn’t shy when it came to calling out those responsible.

Lawrence wrote, “When the Sony hack happened and I found out how much less I was being paid than the lucky people with d**ks, I didn’t get mad at Sony. I got mad at myself. I failed as a negotiator because I gave up early. I didn’t want to keep fighting over millions of dollars that, frankly, due to two franchises, I don’t need.”

She added, “F*** that. I’m over trying to find the ‘adorable’ way to state my opinion and still be likable! F*** that.”

Yikes. Either Scarlett Johansson just isn’t as bothered by the problem or doesn’t see the problem in her world.

Perhaps it is the latter option since Scarlett Johansson seems to be on equal ground with her fellow Avengers.

Alan Horn, the chairman of Walt Disney Studios, said recently, “Audiences have proven that there’s an appetite and a market for dynamic female leads and female-driven stories, and as an industry, we have a responsibility to create those roles for women and compensate them accordingly.”

What do you think the future holds for women in Hollywood? Do you think leading ladies like Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Lawrence are treated differently than their male counterparts?

  • Tom Hiddleston Implying That He Is Done With Loki?

Is Tom Hiddleston implying that he may never be back to play Loki again?

In a recent interview with Coming Soon, Hiddleston spoke of the role that he relishes as if there is doubt as to whether or not he might even step into mother’s drapes to play it again.

Avengers ramrob Joss Whedon has spoken highly of Hiddleston’s ability to weave a multi-layered character out of Loki. When asked whether he hoped to continue along that vein or to make Loki a full-blown villain, Hiddleston replied:

“You know, I don’t know. I think I won’t be able to help it if I ever play him again, and I just don’t know when that’s gonna happen, if that’s gonna happen. I would never lose his dimension, but it’s so interesting. I’ve talked with Chris Hemsworth, how those characters have changed as we’ve changed. It’s five years ago since I played him for the first time. That’s a long time ago. So who knows what I’ll be cooking up!”

Tom Hiddleston is currently promoting his latest film, Crimson Peak, which is a horror flick. But he also has Kong: Skull Island coming up.

So even if Hiddleston ends up checking out of the Marvel Universe lineup after Thor: Ragnarok, there will still be plenty of opportunities for fans to sink their teeth into the acting talent that he brought to a character that could have been as flat as Loki.

Kong: Skull Island, particularly, has Hiddleston stoked. The film takes on the King Kong legend, which has been tackled in Hollywood many times before.

“[Director] Jordan Vogt-Roberts has a really interesting take on the whole thing, and it’s really new and original. It doffs its cap to the mythology but also takes it into a new place which I hope you will find exciting.”

  • Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Hiddleston: ‘Avengers’ Co-Stars Go Public With Romance

Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston are no longer hiding their romance from the paparazzi. The Avengers co-stars were spotted out and about, attending theater productions and looking very comfortable with one another.

It was just this past January that Elizabeth Olsen called off her engagement to Boyd Holbrook. She and Tom Hiddleston have been a rumored couple for about two months.

The younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who recently made news for not signing on to the upcoming Netflix Full House reboot–Fuller House–Elizabeth Olsen has made quite a name for herself in the acting world. She has portrayed Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), and 2016’s upcoming Captain America: Civil War.

Elizabeth Olsen and her beau recently wrapped filming a movie together. They play country legend Hank Williams and his wife, Audrey Mae Williams in I Saw the Light. Tom Hiddleston recently played Loki in The Avengers (2012), Thor: The Dark World (2013), and will reprise his role in 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok.

It seems Olsen and Hiddleston aren’t completely committed to one another, but have definitely grown closer over the past couple of months.

A source says things are progressing nicely for the pair.

“They’ve been talking constantly. It’s been good for the both of them, they really care for each other,” the source explains. “Neither of them are looking to jump into a large commitment, but it’s getting more serious.”

Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston definitely make a nice looking couple. Do you expect there is a future for these two?

  • Elizebeth Olsen Gets Starstruck Over Taylor Swift

Elizabeth Olsen is experiencing a rise in stock. Her role as Scarlet Witch in the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie is already making her a household word.

We already know that she is an old soul who prefers to not get on social media and values her privacy.

“I don’t [use] social media, and I feel like that’s how people control their image,” she said recently. “My image, in my mind, is just to disappear. I just want people to see the work that I’m proud of. I feel like you let people touch you when you have Instagram or Twitter, and I don’t want to be touched all the time. I’m not going to do it—ever.”

But even Elizabeth Olsen gets starstruck. In fact, she gets gushy over Taylor Swift.

On The Late, Late Show with James Corden recently, she shared a sitdown with Dana Carvey and related to Corden and Carvey how she recently met Taylor Swift.

She was at a birthday party for a mutual friend when the meeting occurred.

“I really love her, and earlier in my ballet class, I was doing a dance sequence to her music,” Elizabeth Olsen explained. “I only listen to her music when I’m working out, which is a little too often because of Avengers. And I just talked at her for like a long time. I think I blew it because we didn’t exchange phone numbers or anything.”

Corden pressed for more details about the conversation.

“I was really close to showing her my dance. She was asking me which song it was, and I couldn’t remember the song title, and I wasn’t going to sing it for her! I didn’t to sound like I was mocking her.” she recalled. “I’m still nervous thinking about it right now. So she named one and I was like, “Yeah. It was that one!”

  • Black Widow Inherits Buffy Mantle as Joss Whedon Female Hero

Black Widow Inherits Buffy Mantle as Joss Whedon Female Hero

Black Widow has been a fan fave throughout the Avengers and Ironman films. But the character is taking on a greater cultural significance in teh hands of writer/director Joss Whedon.

Joss Whedon is already known for taking strong female characters and building worlds around them, letting them stand, falter, learn, and fail is amplified versions of how people live in real life. He did it with Buffy Summers as a vampire slayer. He added Eliza Dushku’s character of Faith to show more facets of that. He continued building strong females, even in a male-centered show like Angel. He built another entire show around Dushku with Dollhouse. And he has Black Widow to continue that tradition.

“I’m always looking for pain, because pain usually contains truth and humor,” Joss Whedon said. As for Black Widow, “Her character is to me the most fascinating, because she’s defined by it in a way that she generally doesn’t show, and when she gets to, it’s very affecting. … I think we went deeper with her than with anybody else.”

Actress Scarlett Johansson sees her role as Black widow as more than just some fill-in bit in a throwaway action flick.

“For so long, female superheroes have been mistreated, and I think women’s roles in general are often oversimplified and generic and saccharine,” Johansson said. “I’ve finally been able to be a part of creating this character that is really multifaceted, and it’s fallen into what is generally a kind of male-dominated genre.”

Not that it hasn’t been a tough road. Even in this day and age, and with Joss Whedon and Johansson batting for her, Black Widow is often omitted from marketing materials about the Avengers team.

But Scarlett Johansson also believes that the fact that people are noticing the missing Black Widow is a good sign.

“I see it as a vestigial remnant of this kind of sexist sort of mindset,” Johansson said. “It’s certainly nice that people are noticing and talking about it, whereas before it would just kind of be like, ‘Well, you know, it’s long pajamas and they’re for boys, so of course it’s all the guys on them.’ It’s a conversation that people are having — ‘Where’s all the girls? We want more. We want to see females in this genre who are not the stick in the mud or the damsel in distress or the girlfriend waiting by the window. We want to see characters who reflect the environment that we’re a part of.’”

  • Scarlett Johansson Hates Loudmouth Celeb Parents

Scarlett Johansson seems to think know-it-all celebrity parents need to shut up and sit down.

“I’m such a newbie at this. I always really hate it when actors or people in the spotlight make giant grandiose statements about parenthood because it’s so, so personal. And I don’t profess to know anything more about parenting than anybody else.” she says.

Scarlett Johansson is raising new baby girl Rose Dorothy with her second husband Romain Dauriac. The couple divide their time between Paris and New York City.

While Scarlett Johansson may not recognize other celebrity authorities on parenting, she does recognize her own personal responsibility for the new life she is raising.

“I have a greater responsibility now so that will definitely affect my schedule. Before (Rose), I just made the choices that were affecting me but now I’m responsible for somebody else. Eventually I will have to work less and it might even make me more discerning,” she says.

Even her thoughts about the future with a new baby in it are only expressed as possibilities, not even fully-formed opinions.

“We’ll see, but I think having any kind of huge life-changing event happen to you, such as having children, and it’s such a different life now in the best possible way, is very, very inspiring,” she says. “I think it will hopefully enrich my work as well as my understanding of myself. That’s the hope anyway, you never know.”

Scarlett Johansson has a twin brother, Hunter. She credits her mother for raising her in such as way as to be individual.

“I think my mom, really more than anything, shaped me in many ways. She was very, very encouraging of our separate interests growing up. She just made us feel that you could do whatever you wanted to do, as long as you really wanted to do it, and that’s why I got into acting.”

  • Elizabeth Olsen Talks Like an Old Lady at 26

Elizabeth Olsen Talks Like an Old Lady at 26

Elizabeth Olsen is an old soul. She is only 26 years old, two years younger than her famous twin sisters, but she has this stay-off-my-lawn sensibility that sets her apart.

When Elizabeth Olsen talked to Fashion Magazine recently, she revealed a bit of that curmudgeon side.

“I don’t [use] social media, and I feel like that’s how people control their image. My image, in my mind, is just to disappear. I just want people to see the work that I’m proud of. I feel like you let people touch you when you have Instagram or Twitter, and I don’t want to be touched all the time. I’m not going to do it—ever.”

At the same time, Elizabeth Olsen defends her generation and is tired of seeing people her age being lumped into wide general categories and written off en masse.

“It is annoying to me the way my generation is written about—that we are all entitled slackers and hackers,” she said.

Elizabeth Olsen is set to play The Scarlet Witch — a.k.a. Wanda Maximoff — in Avengers: Age of Ultron. She digs the characters wisdom and grounded persona.

“She’s grounded and centered because she’s always receiving information—she knows everyone’s everything because of her telekinesis. She has access to the past, the present, the future and parallel universes—she can connect with all of them.”

She agreed to do the Avengers flick, even though she does not like doing violent films. In fact, Elizabeth Olsen has turned down films for another old soul reason.

“I read this brilliant script the other day that is a thriller but I had to say no to it. There’s enough violence in the world, why add to it? Superhero movies are about destroying robots not people so that doesn’t count. Besides, all the heroes—especially in Marvel comics—are about heralding the underdog or the outsider.”

Even her wardrobe has that uniform feel to it. She likes what she likes, and isn’t afraid to buck the latest trends.

“I used to steal so many clothes from my sisters and wear them but now I buy the same thing all the time: white and black button up shirts from The Row. I’m in head to toe in The Row right now. Where the pockets are placed, where seams are stitched, it’s all so meticulous for them so I appreciate their talent. I love going to their offices to learn.”

  • Scarlett Johansson Opens Up About Camera Tricks For “Avengers 2”

Scarlett Johansson, most fans know by now, was heavily pregnant while filming Avengers 2: Age Of Ultron, so in order to make some of her scenes look believable, she had to work with the director–Joss Whedon–to figure out the best way to get stunts done.

The actress says that while she was willing to get on a motorcycle for the movie, she obviously couldn’t do some of the amazing, gravity-defying moves that Black Widow is known for. To get around it, she filmed some scenes on a real bike and some on a stationary one…which admittedly, wasn’t as awesome, but got the job done.

“I don’t think you’re allowed to ride a motorcycle when you’re so pregnant, but I did. I did all of the motorcycle riding. I embarrassingly rode some sort of mechanical-bull type of motorcycle, which goes nowhere and doesn’t look cool, at all. But, I had some very professional and amazing motor-cross morphing done that makes Black Widow look like a total badass,” Johansson said.

Scarlett spoke recently about the role and said that one of the things she really likes about Black Widow is that she doesn’t really fall on one side or the other; she has a bit of good and a bit of bad in her, which made her easily relatable.

“In my first meeting with Joss, I had the chance to talk about Natasha’s backstory and her sordid past and I wanted to make sure that she stayed sort of gray, not really black or white. What’s exciting and compelling about the character is that she’s not Cap [Captain America]; she’s not righteous. She was in S.H.I.E.L.D. because it’s where she belonged, not necessarily that it was the right place to be. Now we find The Avengers in business as usual mode but it’s changing. So it’s my job to make sure that Natasha, through that change, stays true to the Natasha that I started with in The Avengers,” Scarlett Johansson said.

  • Avengers Age of Ultron: Hemsworth Talks End of Series

Chris Hemsworth is just as excited as the rest of us about the upcoming release of Avengers: Age of Ultron. but shooting the film was a particular challenge for him as the God of Thunder.

“My wife and I were having a baby — or two babies! — at the beginning of the shoot, so we were in LA.”

As for the script for the new Avengers flick, he promises more of what we loved about the first film.

“It was awesome. I just loved how it upped it in a way that wasn’t just bigger and flashier. Everything had been amplified, but in an intelligent way. All the stories are relevant to what’s going on in the world, as far as the exponential growth of technology, and artificial intelligence, and the questions of good vs. bad, and the AI world. And you know [it’s] obviously heavily influenced by that time and that debate.”

Sometimes ensemble films bring in characters that really don’t have much to do, the audience just expects them to be there. If they were missing, there would be questions about why they were absent. Chris Hemsworth says that writer/director Joss Whedon avoided that pitfall.

“[Joss] managed to bring all of the Avengers back in and give them a relevant reason to be there and justified conflict. It’s a tricky balance. I’m glad I’m not the one writing the thing and having to pull that off. There’s a new threat in this. There’s a new conflict. There’s a new set of circumstances. They don’t tend to cover too much of the previous and the next one. This, hopefully, will stand alone as its own story.”

But what about the end of the series?

Hemsworth says that an ending for the Avengers series is planned. It’s not going to go on forever. But apparently neither he nor any of the others know what that plan is. The good news is, it will be a while before it happens.

“We don’t know how it’s going to end and the biggest concern is this one here — more so than two or three films [ahead]. I know that I’m sure they are coming up with ideas and attempting to kind of have some kind of arrangement that, five or six years down the track, they go, ‘OK, this is where we’re heading.’ But they don’t tell us until the day before usually. Like, this fight scene we learned this morning!”

  • Age of Ultron: Hawkeye Gets Badass Costumes, Props

Jeremy Renner says that there is some pretty awesome stuff in store for his character Hawkeye in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron.

For starters, there is a bad-ass new coat. But like many costume pieces — like almost every cloak on every hero — it looks better than it functions.

“Yeah he’s got a coat because we were fighting in the woods, so I guess he’s got this pretty cool coat. I can’t move in it but it’s cool-looking.”

Any film that features inventor Tony Stark as a character is bound to end up with better and better tech gadgets from one sequel to the next. Jeremy Renner is keeping Age of Ultron pretty close to the vest.

“There’s always new tech and different things, I don’t want to get into any of that sort of stuff either but yeah, there’s some new costumes, new tech, new characters, new good guys, new bad guys.”

Jeremy Renner couldn’t keep everything about Age of Ultron secret though. Since Hawkeye has no superpowers, per se, he has to rely on gadgets. And Hawkeye is an archer, so a smattering of new arrowheads had to be designed.

“It’s also kind of like the Bat-Belt for Hawkeye, he really has a lot of utility and for writers to make this thing creative in any scenario, ‘Oh, he has an arrow head that does this and does that.’ But it’s still just the tip of an arrow, it can only do so much. But yeah, I got a couple of new tech things that were pretty cool and went, ‘Oh, I didn’t know I had that, alright. That’s cool, that’s a cool one.”

As Chris Hemsworth said, whatever you liked in the Avengers’ first assemblage, there’s way more of in Age of Ultron.

“A lot more of us together in the movie as Avengers, which I think there’s only once or twice that we had that [in the first film]. So that’s been quite fun and long days to shoot because there’s a lot of people to cover in a scene when you have like ten Avengers in a scene. But there’s a lot more of what I think worked in the first one, they’ll have that exponentially more in this one.”

  • Scarlet Witch: Chris Evans Reveals More About Avengers New Character

Chris Evans has been around the Marvel Universe long enough to get a feel for everyone on the Avengers team. In the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron, there are some new additions to the team.

Quicksilver is played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson (from Kick-ass) and Scarlet Witch is Elizabeth Olsen (from Godzilla). There is also Paul Bettany as The Vision.

Chris Evans says that Scarlet Witch brings an element to the film that changes how we might expect people like Captain America and Ironman to behave.

“[She] has a way of making each of us . . . you know, she gets in your head. That’s her ability. So each one is kind of confronted with their own personal issues and demons, and that creates personal struggles, as well as conflicts for the team. I don’t wanna dive too deeply into each person’s individual conflict but it’s tense.”

Speaking of individual conflicts in the Avengers team, who is the leader of the Avengers? Is there one person who can be said to step up and claim the role? Maybe Tony Stark?

“Certain people are moving on into different things, and so things that we’ve each seen in ourselves in this movie — each one of our hurdles, our battles, our struggles, our shortcomings, our fears — these are the things that have kind of motivated the catalyst for change and evolution. For someone like Tony, maybe he may not want to be anything but the front man. He has to kind of face that.”

But Chris Evans says that Thor, Captain America, and Hawkeye all have something in common that they do not share with Tony Stark.

“There are people like Thor. Thor’s a soldier. I mean, he’s just a soldier in another world, so there’s an understanding between those two men, Captain, Thor. And same with Hawkeye. These guys have all been in battle, so I think for the most part, there aren’t as many conflicting egos. I don’t think in terms of well, who’s leading this crew? It’s more personal conflicts and more personal questions about who they are as people, and what they’re looking for, and what makes sense, and what’s right and wrong. It’s not so much about ‘Well, who’s the front man?”

  • Chris Hemsworth: New Avengers Has ‘More Humor for Thor’

Chris Hemsworth is talking his face off about the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron film.

While there aren’t any spoilers, per se, Chris Hemsworth gives us enough info to whet our appetites for can be called the second installment in the Avengers series, but is far from the second movie.

Speaking about his own character, Thor, Chris Hemsowrth does tell us where Thor will be when the film starts.

“We put up with Thor having stayed on Earth from Thor 2. So he’s here. He’s part of the team. This is his home for the moment.”

While he is careful not to reveal too much, Chris Hemsworth does say that the instigating action in the film is a factor that brings all the Marvel Universe neatly together under one arc.

“The initial kind of threat — attack — from Ultron is personal, because it’s at all the Avengers, and Thor then begins to see a bigger picture here about what this threat could be, potentially. And it begins to kind of tie in all of our films. It’s hard to say too much without talking about what I can’t talk about, but as I said, it’s a personal loss [for Thor] from the get-go.”

One fun bit to look forward to is seeing the God of Thunder in street clothes.

“[There’s a] party scene, and I was in a nice coat and jeans, and the guys just kept joking, ‘When did Thor go shopping? Did he buy this online? Or did Jane do it?’ You don’t see him go shopping, but the question’s raised, because he’s not dressed in his own guardian attire. He’s more human in the film definitely.”

In the first Thor film, as well as the first Avengers installment, Thor is played as still being unfamiliar with the customs of humans. There was some humor on that. Chris Hemsworth says that the goofiness of Thor is going to be polished off a bit, but now he gets to joke with the rest of the gang.

“Thor has loosened up a bit. I think we lost some of the humor and the naiveté and fish-out-of-water quality of Thor from the first film into the second one. And there were things I loved about what we did in the second one too, tonally, but you know that sense of fun? I would have liked it to be there a bit more. And Joss [Whedon], I think, felt the same way. So there’s more humor in Thor. He’s off Asgard now, so he doesn’t have to be as regal and kingly as he is in that world, which is nice. I enjoy that more. It’s sort of a box, which he gets to step out of, on Asgard. That stuff just looks out of place, whereas here you can have a gag with the guys and he can throw away lines and be in a party scene with them in civilian clothes, which is nice.”

  • Jeremy Renner: ‘I Saw Downey Twice in the Last Avengers’

Jeremy Renner says that the new Avengers: Age of Ultron gave him much more on-set time with the other Avengers than he had in the first film.

“I saw Downey like twice in the last Avengers and in this one we’re all together a lot more so that makes it really great, and also tedious when we shoot it because there’s so many people to cover and there’s so many storylines to tell, but it makes the off camera stuff just so much more fun. I personally like to go to work and just work and knock out some action sequences and get it done, and we do that, but then when we’re all together it’s really great fun. It really is a wonderful family unit. It’s the best part of doing a big crazy action movie like this, which usually can be quite unfulfilling as an artist, but because all the people involved in this are so great it makes coming to work every day really joyous.”

But in addition to the familiar characters from the first film of Ironman, Hulk, Black Widow, Captain America, Thor and Hawkeye, there are new additions to the team.

“These new characters are great, with Scarlet Witch you’ll find that her abilities are just being tapped into in this movie and what they can become, she’s still learning what they are, which is really cool. That to me as a nerdy, geeky dude about this world, that’s what I’m excited to kind of see what happens in the future because that can be quite fun.”

With more of a complete ensemble shooting style to the new Avengers, as well as having Joss Whedon on board from beginning to end, Jeremy Renner got to see more of the director, too.

“I’ve known him since ‘98 since I did Angel with him. It’s great to dive into the character and he’s just as excited as I am about, just for me personally, for finding out who Hawkeye is.”

  • Scarlett Johansson Stuns in Mini-Dress Just Four Months Post-Baby

Scarlett Johansson gave birth to her baby Rose just four months ago, but she shows no signs of having ever been pregnant. The actress stepped out on Saturday for the 2015 G’Day USA Gala and AACTA International Awards in Los Angeles, wearing a mini-dress that showed off all her post-pregnancy assets.

According to Us Weekly, Scarlett Johansson strutted her stuff in a fringed Preen dress that featured a halter neckline, red and white shimmering accents, and an exceptionally short hemline. Pointed-toe Sophia Webster “Coco” pumps, stud earrings that complemented trendy ear cuffs, and a dainty bracelet accessorized the sexy dress.

The Lucy actress’s hairstyle was even edgier than her wardrobe choices. Her elongated pixie was swept back into a pompadour style, showing off her shaved undercut.

Scarlett Johansson took the stage at the event and shared a story about going on an Avenger’s press tour with Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, and Chris Evans. She explained a scenario that took place during a flight.

“[Hemsworth] collapsed in a giant perfect heap, his lion’s mane gracefully falling around his prominent, chiseled features. ‘My god,’ proclaimed Ruffalo, ‘what a specimen.’ It’s incredible. The man is perfect, even when he’s drooling.”

Scarlett Johansson attended the event to present Chris Hemsworth with this year’s Excellence in Film Award. She will next appear on the big screen in Avengers: Age Of Ultron. It is set to hit theaters in May.

Fans and fellow actors must have been stunned to see how svelte and trim Scarlett Johansson looked in that mini-dress at this weekend’s award ceremony.

  • Lou Ferrigno: I Know How The Hulk Thinks and Feels

Lou Ferrigno recently sat down with I Am Rogue managing editor Jami Philbrick to talk about his upcoming role in The Scorpion King 4: Quest for Power. But in that conversation, you know a comic fan would have to ask a few questions about The Hulk.

Ferrigno famously played The Hulk with actor Bill Bixby as David Banner in the television series The Incredible Hulk from 1978 to 1982. Ferrigno was more recently called upon to voice the roars of The Hulk for the first Avengers film.

Ferrigno revealed his connection to the beastly character.

“I know how The Hulk thinks and feels. I’m glad they let me do the voice in the last Avengers because — you can’t compare CGI to the human Hulk, but with the better quality of CGI also with the voice, then The Hulk started to be believable. In the last Avengers, The Hulk was the best I’ve seen it. And also, he saved the day.”

Ferrigno said that his deep understanding of the character of The Hulk served him well when it came time to record the growls and roars of the biggest Avenger.

“It’s not easy to do, because at the time, when I did the voice, I have not seen the scene. So I had to improvise according to how The Hulk would be thinking. Be creative, with just a blank screen and two microphones in front of me. Then, when I saw the final product, I was excited. Because whenever they have a voiceover for a film like The Avengers, contractually you don’t know anything about the scenes. So I had to improvise.”

Ferrigno did reveal that he has not yet recorded voice for the next Avengers film because they have not yet contacted him.

I wonder how The Hulk feels about that.

  • Sonni Pacheco: Lingerie Model Back on the Market After Filing For Divorce From Jeremy Renner

Sonny Pacheco is back on the market after filing for divorce from Avengers star Jeremy Renner after just 10 months of marriage.

According to TMZ, Pacheco, 23, filed for divorce earlier this month citing irreconcilable differences in her court documents. She also reportedly mentioned a prenup but said it should be disregarded because it was based on “fraud.”

Pacheco and 43-year-old Renner — who met on the set of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, where Pacheco had a role as a stand-in — have a 21-month-old daughter, Ava Berlin Renner. TMZ claims that Pacheco is requesting spousal support and physical custody of Ava.

The website further claims that she wants Renner to pay her rent and moving expenses, and has asked that he return her passport, birth certificate and social security card.

The Canadian model and actress, who is 20 years younger than her soon-to-be ex, works as a lingerie model and was a spokeswoman for Monster Energy Drinks. She also had a role in the 2009 direct-to-DVD movie American Pie Presents: The Book Of Love.

The couple have struggled in the relationship from the get-go. Before they welcomed their daughter, the couple split, according to Daily Mail. After their daughter was born, Pacheco moved in with Renner and they eventually married.

  • Scarlett Johansson Critiques Her Body — ‘I Wouldn’t Say It’s Particularly Remarkable’

Scarlett Johansson, who gave birth to daughter Rose Dorothy just three months ago, thinks her body is just “okay.”

On Sunday’s Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014 on NBC, the Lucy actress critiqued what the rest of us finds ridiculously fabulous — her famous bod.

“It’s an okay body,” said the 30-year-old actress, who was number 10 on Walter’s list. “I wouldn’t say it’s particularly remarkable, though. I don’t like my thighs, my midsection.”

Johansson, who reportedly married French journalist Romain Dauriac in October, also claimed she doesn’t consider herself to be particularly sexy.

“I never put on a sexy face,” she told Walters. “So I don’t know what it means to act seductively.”

On the other hand, the Avengers star said filming sex scenes is an exercise in freedom.

“You have to be totally without judgment, and it’s sort of liberating,” said Johansson. “It’s challenging. You have to stay in the moment.”

Whatever she may think of her body, she looks pretty fantastic just three months post-birth. She told Walters her secret to shedding the baby weight is breastfeeding.

“I’m nursing and I love it,” she said. “It’s the best way to get back in shape.”

Johansson told the 85-year-old journalist that, even though taking care of little Rose can be daunting at times, she prefers to be hands-on when it comes to caring for her daughter.

“It’s wonderful, and exhausting,” Johansson said. “The love is just unbelievable. It’s very overwhelming.”

  • Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston Join ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Cast

Idris Elba let the cat out of the bag over the weekend.

The Thor star spilled the beans during an interview with the U.K.’s The Telegraph that he and Tom Hiddleston will appear in next May’s Avengers sequel.

Elba, 42, who has played the Asgard guardian Heimdall in both Thor and Thor: The Dark World, didn’t divulge very much about his role in Age of Ultron, apart from the revelation that he will share a scene with Chris Hemsworth, who plays the classic hero, Thor, and Hiddleston, who portrays Thor’s half-brother Loki.

“I’m in Avengers,” Elba said. “I’m doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, and they’re like, — ‘Aren’t you (meant to be) in Ibiza?’ ”

Elba said arranging his schedule has proved to be challenging. Between his work on the Nelson Mandela biopic Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom and work on Thor: The Dark World, he’s keeping himself — and the airlines — busy.

“I’d just done eight months in South Africa. I came to England and the day I came back I had to do reshoots on Thor 2,” Elba said. “I was like, ‘This is torture, man. I don’t want to do this.’ My agent said: ‘You have to, it’s part of the deal.’”

Needless to say, Elba kept at it and will surely reap the benefits of all of his hard work.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is set to open in theaters on May 1, 2015.

  • Avengers: Age Of Ultron Trailer Leaks: Marvel Is Furious, But Fans Are Elated

How Marvel Studios managed to keep the trailer for Avengers: Age Of Ultron under wraps this long is anyone’s guess.

Despite the company promising the trailer to viewers of the struggling Agents of Shield, it seems that someone felt that excited fans shouldn’t have to wait that long.

The trailer has made its way to the internet via a leak. It has been noted that this is NOT the same trailer that was shown at Comic Con. The contents of that trailer remains a mystery to non-attendants.

This trailer made its way to the internet Wednesday, and as excited fans share the two minute footage it becomes clear that it has only added to the hype surrounding the upcoming Avengers movie.

Marvel cannot be happy about this…but at least the company put on a brave face with this hilarious tweet:

    UPDATE (10:26 PM)

Marvel went ahead and uploaded the official HD trailer. Have a look!

    Takeaways From The Trailer

1.) Explosions, destroyed city streets, and civilians running for their lives? Didn’t we see this in the FIRST Avengers? I suppose there are some things that must be repeated for the sake of a good popcorn action flick. Let’s hope that the movie proves to be something other than repetitive.

2.) Iron Man is apparently confessing to being at least partially responsible for what we’re seeing. And seeing as Ultron at least partially resembles an Iron Man suit, we can only guess that the villain somehow his brain child. Is this the event that acts as the catalyst that will bring ups “Civil War” in the Marvel movie universe?

3,.) HULK BUSTER VS. HULK! Ever since the suit was introduced in Iron Man 3, we’ve all been wondering if it would ever feature in a match-up against the Incredible Hulk. It looks like we finally have an answer.

4,) Will we see the end of Captain America? It has been speculated for some time that we are on the threshold of the death of Cap. Seeing his shattered shield in this trailer is enough to make someone wonder if he’s really going to die.

5.) “There Are No Strings On Me.” Everyone take a minute to clap for Disney. Not only were they flaunting their ownership of Marvel Studios, but taking a moment to plug one of their more beloved animations.

What did you take away from the leaked trailer? What do you want to see in the movie?

  • Scarlett Johansson, Romain Dauriac Spark Marriage Rumors

Scarlett Johansson and Romain Dauriac, who just welcomed their first child together in September, were spotted out and about in New York City last week for the first time in several weeks. The couple managed to spark marriage rumors in that short time, as Dauriac was reportedly wearing a gold ring.

Although it’s no secret that the duo have been engaged since late 2013, the presence of a ring on Dauriac’s finger may mean the two decided to exchange vows in secret after the birth of their daughter, Rose Dorothy. However, reps for the couple have not confirmed a wedding.

Johansson said recently that she’s happy to be moving on to the next phase of her life, as she’s tired of being pegged as the “sex symbol”.

“I don’t want to be the ingénue any more. That part I’m happy about. It’s nice to be glamorous, but I don’t want to always have to be trendy and glamorous and an object of desire. I don’t want to be stuck in that forever. Because it doesn’t last,” she said.

The actress recently signed on with Sony TV to executive produce and star in an eight-episode television series called Custom Of The Country, based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name by Edith Wharton. In her first major television role, Johansson will play heroine Undine Spragg.

Johansson can also be seen next year with her return to the Marvel universe in Avengers: Age Of Ultron. The actress was pregnant during some of the film’s production, so three separate stunt actors were used to help get her through several scenes. Director Joss Whedon said recently that he was adamant about making the movie work no matter what.

“She’s not going to spend the whole movie carrying groceries. We didn’t trim any scenes. We’re like, ‘We’ll make it work,’” he told Entertainment Weekly.
