  • Hilary Duff, Ashton Kutcher to Hook Up on Two And a Half Men

    Though former child star Hilary Duff has been out of the spotlight for a few years, she’s still a large enough presence in Hollywood that her appearance on the most popular current network TV sitcom can still make waves. It has been announced that Duff will be guest-starring in the season finale of Two and a Half Men, which is filming this week.

    According to an E! News report, Duff will play a love interest for Ashton Kutcher‘s character, Walden Schmidt. Marilu Henner will play Duff’s grandmother in the episode, and will also be a love intrest for Schmidt.

    Duff has tweeted out her excitement about being on the CBS show, and indicated that her character is a “crazy drunk girl.”

    Duff is best known for playing the title role in the Disney Channel show Lizzie McGuire. She married NHL player Mike Comrie in 2010, and the couple gave birth to their first child just over one year ago, in March 2012.

  • Demi Divorce Papers Finally Filed

    It’s been over one year since Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher officially ended their relationship, but the divorce process for the two celebrities hasn’t been going smoothly.

    Today, the New York Post’s Page Six is reporting that Demi Moore will finally file divorce papers against Kutcher. Citing an unnamed “insider,” the Post goes on to say that Moore is “tired” of settlement talks between the couple, and could bring the divorce to court.

    Kutcher has already filed divorce papers, and the Post’s source dropped the words “difficult” and “hostile” in relation to his attitude during settlement proceedings.

    From the Post:

    “Ashton made a lot of money after marrying Demi – a lot more than she made – but despite him becoming just as famous through her, he believes he doesn’t owe her that much,” the source said,” adding of Demi: “She has had enough.”

    The paperwork could be filed as soon as today. If a settlement is not reached by this spring, the source states, it could end up going to trial.

  • Ashton Kutcher Has a Seat on Branson’s Space Shuttle

    Two and a Half Men star Ashton Kutcher recently signed up to the be the 500th passenger on Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic shuttle service. Branson says that Kutcher is “thrilled” at the chance to go into space, and that his shuttle is in its final stages of test flights.

    “I gave Ashton a quick call to congratulate and welcome him. He is as thrilled as we are at the prospect of being among the first to cross the final frontier (and back!) with us and to experience the magic of space for himself,” Branson added.

    Branson goes on to verify the safety of his commercial space flight service – “As you can see .. our spaceships are not only very beautiful but are built and flying in the final stages of our exhaustive test flight program – We are guided by safety and so will ensure that everything is just as safe as it can possibly be before we start commercial services — particularly as I will be on the first commercial flight with my kids!”

    Branson welcomed Kutcher via Twitter, and Kutcher opted not to respond, but re-tweeted to his almost 10 million followers:

    Branson opened “Spaceport America,” the world’s first of its kind, in the New Mexico desert last October. The spaceport will likely house two WhiteKnightTwos, the spacecraft launch vehicles, and five SpaceShipTwos, the orbital vehicles.

    Branson’s other pursuits involve deep sea exploration, and the entrepreneur has been in collaboration with director James Cameron regarding a mission to the bottom of the Mariana Trench.

    Kutcher had replaced troubled actor Charlie Sheen on the popular sitcom “Two and a Half Men,” and divorced from actress Demi Moore.
