Google Cloud Product Manager Arrested On Suspicion Of Murder

Sonam Saxena, Google Cloud Product Manager, has been arrested on the Big Island, Hawaii on suspicion of second degree murder.

A body was discovered near Anaehoomalu Bay, leading to Saxena’s arrest. In an interview he gave to West Hawaii Today prior to his arrest, Saxena said he and his wife Smriti—a Microsoft business program manager—were on a secluded beach south of Anaehoomalu Bay when she had an asthma attack.

“She got an asthma attack right there on the beach and she was feeling weak and she didn’t want to walk all the way back because it’s almost a 20-minute walk back from that beach to our room,” said Sonam Saxena. “So, I said, ‘hey, you know what? You stay here, you have your phone with you and I’ll just go to the room grab your inhaler and pump and come back.’

“I did that. Went to the room, picked up the inhaler, came back, and she was missing.”

Police have not released the identity of the body they discovered, but said it was found in the general area where Smriti Saxena was reported missing and last seen. The police are asking for assistance from anyone who may have been in the area around that time.

Snoop Dogg Arrested in Sweden, Posts NSFW Vids to Instagram [Video]

Snoop Dogg had some trouble with the police in Sweden. The rapper was pulled over at a traffic stop, and when cops suspected he might be high, they hustled him in for a urine sample test.

The traffic stopped took place in Uppsala, Sweden. Snoop Dogg had given a concert in the area. The police in Uppsala told the Guardian, “Police carrying out roadside controls noticed that Snoop Dogg seemed to be under the influence of narcotics. He was arrested and taken to the police station to take a urine test. The incident lasted several minutes. Once the test was carried out, he left.”

But Snoop Dogg was livid. He started shooting video when the traffic stop happened, and continued shooting clips of video as he rode to the police station, while he waited for test results, and again after he was released and back in the United States.

“They took me down there, made me pee in a cup,” Snoop said in one video clip. “Didn’t find shit, though.”

“I ain’t did nothing. All I did was came to this country and did a concert and now I gotta go to the police station,” Snoop insisted. “Profile, racial profile. … like Minister Farrakhan say, ‘It’s better to be searched and not found with nothing than not to be searched at all.’ F**k ya’ll!”

The captions on his Instagram video posts reflected his frustration and anger at being taken in by the police.

“2 all my Sweden fans U can blame YA police dept for never seeing me again in your beautiful country. It’s always a few d***s that f**k it up for everybody its been real.”

“On my mamas im sick and tired of the pigs. N America n these countries that jus don’t respect us fuck that new me new u u do we do 2”

Some of his Instagram posts are on the general topic of racial profiling and police brutality.

“Racial profille is a everyday thang we have grown accustomed to it. Nfl. Not for long”

  • Diddy Arrested for Assaulting His Son’s Football Coach With a Kettlebell

Diddy just got hauled to jail for throwing his weight around. Well, it was somebody’s weight.

Sean “P. Diddy” Combs was arrested today after allegedly assaulting a football coach at UCLA, where his son, Justin Combs, is a red-shirt defensive back on the football team.

UCLA issued a statement about the Diddy incident earlier today.

“Shortly after 12:30 p.m. today, Sean Combs (also known as P. Diddy) was arrested at UCLA’s Acosta Athletic Training Complex on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, which was a kettlebell. No one was seriously injured and UCPD is investigating. Combs is expected to be transported to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Inmate Reception Center later this evening.”

The particulars of any argument that preceded the alleged assault are not clear at this time. But UCLA’s football coach Jim Mora issued a simple statement:

“I’m thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation. This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved. While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time.”

According to TMZ, the coach Diddy allegedly went after with a kettlebell was strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi. They say sources tell them that Diddy assaulted the man he heard him yelling at his son. Other sources say that Diddy was acting in self-defense and that Alosi attacked him first.

Combs is the father of six children. He does have a tendency to spoil his children. When Jsutin turned 16, Diddy gave him a $360,000 Maybach car, complete with chauffeur.

Diddy himself played football in high school for Mount Saint Michael Academy. His team won a division title in 1986.

  • Andy Dick Arrested for Theft; Posts $25K Bail Over $1K Necklace

TMZ is reporting that Andy Dick has been arrested. It may not be the most bizarre story of the week, but somehow elicits a chuckle in the retelling. In a week that saw Lindsay Lohan end her probation for the same crime, Andy Dick has allegedly stolen a necklace.

    Let’s start at the beginning.

A man said he was walking along Hollywood Boulevard last week when a guy on a bicycle rode up to him. He recognized the man on the bike as Andy Dick. Allegedly, Andy Dick asked to see the man’s necklace. The man said, “Sure.” He handed Dick his necklace. Suddenly, Dick made a break for it, pedaling away with the man’s $1,000 necklace.

The man reported the theft to the police, but they couldn’t find Dick. Finally, they spotted Dick near his apartment in Hollywood. They arrested Dick and put Dick in jail. Dick posted $25,000 bail and walked out to await trial.

Dick has had some substance abuse issues in the past. This has caused him considerable trouble. He even admitted to Entertainment Tonight, ”When I drink I turn into a moron. I think I’m being funny and clever, but I look back on the video tape and I border on retardation.”

Dick says he’s “a very easy target” for ridicule due to his alcoholism.

“It’s like making fun of a mentally handicapped person,” he says, “because I am when I have that much alcohol inside of me.”

Due to his alcohol issues, Dick has been arrested for urinating on a sidewalk in Ohio, crashing into a telephone pole while driving drunk in L.A., and simple pot possession.

But his arrest in 2008 was the pièce de résistance.

Dick was in a Buffalo Wild Wings in Murietta, California. He walked up to a 17-year-old girl, “grabbed her tank top and bra and pulled them down and exposed her breasts.” Police were called. They found him “extremely intoxicated” outside the restaurant. Upon searching him, they found potand Xanax for which he did not have a prescription.

As part of his guilty plea deal in that case, he had to wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet for a year. The bracelet detected any traces of alcohol through his skin. Dick grew to like the bracelet.

“I didn’t like it at first but now it’s become my new best friend,” he said when wearing it. “If it wasn’t for this I would probably already be drinking by now.”

  • Phil Rudd of AC/DC Arrested for Dirty Deeds-Style Murder-for-Hire

You got a lady and you want her gone
But you ain’t got the guts
She keeps naggin’ at ya night and day
    Enough to drive you nuts

Pick up the phone, leave her alone
It’s time you made a stand
For a fee I’m happy to be
    Your back door man

    – “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap”, by AC/DC

In a bizarrely close-to-home incident of life imitating art, the drummer for AC/DC has been arrested on charges of attempting to procure a murder.

Phil Rudd, who has been the drum man for the legendary rock group for most of its existence, appeared Tauranga District Court in New Zealand Thursday afternoon facing a count of attempting to procure the murder of two men, said Bay of Plenty district’s police spokesperson, Kim Perks.

To add insult to injury, Rudd is also charged with threatening to kill, possession of methamphetamine and possession of cannabis.

Rudd left the court on bail and was driven away by his wife. Photos in the New Zealand press showed Rudd shoeless and looking like he had just been pulled from bed. His attorney tried unsuccessfully to prevent media from taking pictures of him, saying they would represent him “at his worst.”

As a band, AC/DC is still reeling from the loss of founding member and chief lyricist of the band, Malcolm Young. Young played rhythm guitar behind his more recognizable younger brother Angus’ lead guitar. Malcolm is known to fans as the engine behind the band. Malcolm went into retirement in September when he took up residence in a care facility in Sydney, suffering from dementia.

Rudd spoke of the band’s future at the time, promising that they would keep on playing and not break up, as some predicted. “It’ll never happen. Angus (Young) will never retire and as long as Angus never retires I won’t retire either,” he said. Malcolm’s newphew Stevie Young is now touring with the band.

AC/DC have a new album due out later this month, ironically titled Rock or Bust. Rudd himself has recently released his first solo album, titled Head Job.

  • The Katt Williams Downward Spiral Continues: Comedian Claims He Was Set Up

Katt Williams and friend Suge Knight were arrested last week for allegedly stealing a photographer’s camera. Each man was charged with robbery.

The incident occurred outside of a studio in Beverly Hills, California on September 5th. As of now, there seem to be conflicting stories as to exactly what happened.

Williams himself is working to clear the air, and the troubled 43-year-old has a rather interesting story to tell.

According to the comedian, Knight and himself were virtually set up after gallantly standing up for a small child.

Williams said that the female victim was filming a small child (allegedly Knight’s offspring) without permission and that they confronted her about her behaviors.

Female paparazzo had, according to Williams, said that she would erase the content from her camera.

However, he said that she was chased down when she fled, rather than delete the footage.

“Don’t say you’re going to erase something, then take off running and think somebody is not going to chase you,” said Williams.

Despite this statement, Katt Williams said that he was not involved in the actual conflict, which would have been between Suge Knight and the photographer in question.

But it’s clear that Williams was at least privy to the situation.

In addition to the comedian’s claims that he experienced a “false arrest”, Katt Williams said that he was taken into custody with the expectation that he would turn on Suge Knight.

“So when they took me into the precinct, step one: get me to blame it on Suge,” said Williams. “That’s not gonna happen, I’d rather take it than that. Don’t be silly.”

Katt Williams could find himself coping with serious jail time if the version of events put forth the two men fails to convince the court.

TMZ reported that Katt Williams and Suge Knight, both of whom are also facing charges in unrelated criminal cases, could wind up doing serious jail time.

Comedian Katt Williams may end up in jail for seven years for his part in this conflict.

Meanwhile, Suge Knight’s legal drama could land him behind bars for the rest of his life.

Even if Williams is unwilling to turn on Knight, he may have to do what he can to separate himself from a man with a terrible criminal reputation.

Do you think Katt Williams and Suge Knight are telling the truth or are they trying to lie their way out of jail time?

  • Jackie Chan’s Son Arrested by Chinese Government

Jaycee Chan, Jackie Chan’s son, most recently made headlines indirectly when his father stated that he was to receive none of his $130 million inheritance. Jackie Chan stated that “If he is capable, he can make his own money,. If he is not, then he will just be wasting my money.” Instead of giving the money to his son after his death, Jackie Chan had decided to donate all of his money to the charities he deems most worthwhile.

And, unbeknownst to Jackie Chan at the time, that was most likely the wisest decision he could have made, considering his son probably would have blown all the money on weed.

On Monday, the Chinese state media agency revealed that police had arrested Jaycee Chan on drug-related charges, along with his friend and Taiwanese television star, Kai Ko Chen-tung.

The two were arrested after police received a tip alluding to the potential drug possession and use by both parties. Upon investigation of Chan’s home in Beijing’s Dongcheng district, police discovered more than 100 grams (or a little more than 3.5 ounces, for those of you in the United States) of marijuana. Chan and Ko also failed to pass a urine drug test when administered.

The arrest of Jaycee Chan comes as a double-insult to Jackie Chan. Not only is Jaycee Jackie’s son, but Jackie Chan was also appointed as an official anti-drug official by the Chinese government in 2009. Despite what many may fear, Jackie Chan has been on record as stating that if his son was to ever delve into narcotics, he hopes he would be sent to jail in order to teach his son a lesson.

For Jaycee Chan, the arrest only adds to his lackluster resume. Chan starred in the film 1911 with his father in 2011, but the movie quickly became Jackie Chan’s worst-rated movie in his lengthy career. Jaycee Chan also starred in 2012’s Double Trouble, a film which grossed a whopping £5,400, or $9,0335.01.

  • Shoplifting Selfie Arrest: What Happened?

    Shoplifting Selfie Arrest: What Happened?

It turns out that the “selfie” craze wasn’t just the greatest thing to ever happen to the attention whores of the world.

Law enforcement officials have a reason to be thankful for them, too.

Or at least thankful that some individuals don’t know that sharing photographic evidence of their theft is in fact a TERRIBLE idea.

This bit of wisdom evaded 27-year-old Danielle Saxton, who was arrested over the weekend and charged with retail theft.

The West Frankford, Ill. native posted a photo on her Facebook page with the message, “Love my new dress”.

Unfortunately for Saxton, the colorful leopard print dress she is accused of stealing from Mortie’s Boutique is one of a kind.

The boutique saw surveillance footage of a woman making off with a dress without paying for it.

They used their Facebook page to ask for help in locating the thief.

Store owner Kert Williams said that they simply left a message requesting that if anyone in the area had any info about the stolen leopard print dress to contact them immediately.

Soon after the store’s social media page was bombarded with helpful messages.

Williams said that at around 6:30 pm someone sent them a picture of Saxton wearing the distinct dress.

“There is only one neon leopard print dress that we have,” said Williams.

Police also recovered two T-shirts, sunglasses, and a necklace that Saxton allegedly took from Mortie’s Boutique along with the leopard-print dress.

Saxton’s stupidity is not unique, as the boutique says it’s used its Facebook page in the past to bust thieves.

Do you like being photographed after stealing? Never fear! In addition to the TMI selfie on social media, you’ll also have a mug shot of your very own to cherish.

    Here is Saxton’s:

  • Chaining 6-Year-Old Son: Man Accused of of Child Abuse

A Utah man has been accused of child abuse after it was discovered that he had chained his 6-year-old son to a bed. Police in Logan City arrested 28-year-old Sammie Lee Hodges on four charges of child abuse after the child was found chained.

Someone called the police and made an anonymous complaint that the 6-year-old son was regularly chained to his bed when his father was at work. When police went out to investigate, they unfortunately found that the accusations were true. The young boy was shackled using what Logan City Police Chief Gary Jensen described as a chain you would use to tow a vehicle or for logging.

“They found the six-year-old boy in his bedroom,” said Jensen. “He was chained to a kind of metal pedestal, where a box springs and mattress would be put on top of this pedestal, with wheels on it. The chain was around that with a padlock and then chained to his ankle and padlocked.”

Hodges (mugshot above) reportedly gave his son a chain long enough to allow him to move around. Police haven’t stated exactly how long the chain that was attached to the bed was, but it was long enough for the child to go to a nearby bathroom. The 6-year-old son was also given food and water before his father left for work. The police chief suspects that the boy had been chained to his bed for up to 10 days–since school let out for the summer–but isn’t positive.

There were other children living in the home, but it isn’t clear whether they were also being abused or if it was just the 6-year-old. According to KUTV, a 10-year-old boy and 8-year-old twin girls were also living in the house. A neighbor told KUTV that the kids would frequently stop by his house and ask for treats and that they didn’t appear to be abused.

Hodges is in Cache County Jail for the time being. If he is found guilty on at least one of the misdemeanor Class A child abuse charges, he could face up to one year in jail as well as a $2,500 fine.

  • Delia Garcia-Bratcher: Did Mom Attack Wrong Kid?

When it comes to childhood bullying, many parents wish to protect their kids from the monsters on the playground.

When California mother Delia Garcia-Bratcher heard that her young daughter was being targeted by a boy at school, she decided to take matters into her own hands.

It’s reported that the 30-year-old mother went into the Olivet Elementary School on Friday at about noon. The woman is then alleged to have grabbed a 12-year-old boy around the neck and verbally threatened him over bullying her daughter.

Garcia-Bratcher was arrested and is currently out on a $30,000 bail.

Today police revealed that the angry mom may have went off on the wrong child.

“So far we found no [link] between the kids,” Lt. Steve Brown told ABC News.

The officer revealed that an investigation showed that the two youngsters had virtually nothing in common. They didn’t ride the same bus, have the same classes, or eat lunch near each other.

“We don’t know if it was the right student or if bullying was even occurring,” said Brown. “There is no connection so far.”

So a mom barged into a school full of children and violently accosts a child over a series of incidents that might not even have occurred?

    Whoops.

Even if Garcia-Bratcher had absolute proof that the boy in question was bullying her child, it wouldn’t make her actions any less illegal or problematic. The victim would still be an 12-year-old boy and she would still be a 30-year-old mother.

When you are the adult in a situation involving children, you must act accordingly. Garcia-Bratcher should have contacted school officials, launched a complaint, or taken her daughter out of the school in question. Assaulting a child is rarely the answer and will often result in a great deal of legal troubles, as Garcia-Bratcher is now learning.

Now not only is this mom left in a situation where she could be wrong in every single way, she has landed in seriously hot water following a failure to set a good example for her daughter.

  • Banana-Thrower Arrested for Racial Insult

We recently told you about the racial insult involving Brazilian footballer Dani Alves. During a match in Spain, someone threw a banana onto the pitch in front of Alves. The implication was that the darker-skinned Alves was a monkey.

In an act of defiance, Alves picked up the banana, broke off a piece, and ate it. Fans cheered, sports commentators played the footage of the incident over and over.

In the wake of the incident, the person who threw the banana was banned from the arena for life. But Alves said he thought that wasn’t enough. He felt that the man should be shamed publicly. Alves even launched a hashtag campaign that resulted in hundreds of people posting pictures of themselves eating bananas, presumably in solidarity with Alves.

Well, it looks like this thing is going to the next level.

Police have now confirmed that they have arrested one David Campayo Lleo, age 26, who actually worked for the Villareal team Alves was playing against when the incident occurred.

The charges against Campayo Lleo are related to racist provocation. If found guilty, he could face up to one to three years in prison.

The idea that someone could be arrested and imprisoned for speech sounds bizarre to people in the United States.

Recently, Americans watched with puzzled curiosity as American singer Bob Dylan narrowly avoided hate speech charges in France over something he said in a Rolling Stone magazine interview there. This was not something that would happen in the U.S., where free speech is the rule.

Another example is the Donald Sterling incident recently. Sterling was banned from the NBA for life as a result of his personal racist comments. He may face fines and consequences from the organization he works with. But all that is a civil matter, much of it in-house. Sterling could never be arrested for saying he did not like black people.

  • Ryan Malone of Tampa Bay Lightning Arrested on Cocaine Charge

Ryan Malone, left wing for the Tampa Bay Lightning, was arrested early Saturday morning on charges of cocaine possession and driving under the influence. Malone, 34, was driving around Rome Street in Tampa, FL around 3:20am when an officer noticed Malone’s car hit a curb. Concerned, the officer pulled Malone over and found cocaine in his pants pocket and saw Ryan noticeably intoxicated. His blood alcohol level was a .116, which is well over Florida’s legal limit of .08. He was brought into the police station and booked at 5:40am this morning, and is being held on a $2500 bond – $2,000 for cocaine possession, and $500 for the DUI charge.

Steve Yzerman, general manager for the Lightning, said in a statement that Ryan would not be joining the team for Sunday’s away game against the Washington Capitals. “We are aware of the situation concerning Ryan Malone this morning,” Yzerman says in the statement. “Ryan will not travel with the team to Washington today, but beyond that we cannot comment further at this time.” As of 8am this morning, Ryan is still in custody at the Hillsborough County Jail, according to the Hillsborough Jail’s website.

Malone in his his sixth season with the Tampa Bay Lightning; before that, he spent four years with the Pittsburg Penguins in his hometown. Ryan was also a team member on the U.S Olympic Men’s Hockey Team at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Over his ten year career, Malone has proven to be a valuable player, with a total of 179 goals and 191 assists in his 641 games. He’s scored only five goals this season for the Lightning out of their 57 games so far, which is a career low for Malone. His previous low season was back in 2006 for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

  • Jim Irsay: Indianapolis Colts Owner Facing Felony Charges

Jim Irsay, the owner and CEO of NFL’s Indianapolis Colts, faces four felony counts for possession of a controlled substance, along with a preliminary misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated. The charges against Irsay were confirmed by Deputy Bryant Orem of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department.

The Colts owner was pulled over on Sunday night after roadside police observed him driving slowly near his residence in Carmel, Indianapolis. He also stopped in the roadway and failed to use a turn signal. He was given several sobriety tests that he failed, prompting police to arrest him.

A vehicle search also tuned up multiple prescription drugs. The police also found drugs that were not associated with the prescription bottles inside the vehicle.

Irsay was released from the Hamilton Country Jail the following day after posting $22,500 bail. His hearing is scheduled for March 26.

Friends of Irsay, and even some Colts insiders, have long known about his struggle with drugs, and have tried to get him into rehab. They even tried to persuade him to get a driver to keep him away from being behind the wheel, but Irsay would have none of it. He dismissed their concerns, even if it was physically obvious that something serious was going on. To explain his 60-pound weight loss, Irsay insisted that his doctors wanted him to lose weight for the good of his hip and back.

In a tweet Irsay posted in October 2013, he said that doesn’t drink, and hasn’t done so in 15 years. He had also overcome his dependence on painkillers after his orthopedic operations after undergoing therapy. The plastic surgeon who used to write Irsay’s painkiller prescriptions no longer treats him, and the pharmacy he used to get his medications from says that Irsay has not been a customer since his treatment.

In November, Irsay’s wife Meg filed for divorce after 33 years of marriage and 10 years of being separated. They have three daughters.

  • Tyler, The Creator Arrested At SXSW, Posts $25K Bail

Tyler, The Creator was arrested this past weekend after encouraging fans to push past security to get into his full-capacity SXSW show in Austin. The Hollywood Reporter has the police report which claims: “The subject encouraged a large crowd on more than one occasion to force themselves past venue employees controlling access at the venue which was already at full capacity.”

The police video shows scores of fans rushing to enter the venue, and Tyler yelling to “just run in right now, do it, let’s go.” The crowd pushed past employees working at the door, creating an “immediate danger of injury to persons.” He was charged with a Riot-Class A Misdemeanor, which carries a $25,000 bond.

His jail-time was short-lived, however; Tyler secured the $25,000 bond on Saturday, letting the rapper free and on to play a sold-out show at the Dallas House of Blues that night.

Tyler, The Creator had already had a drama-filled week at Austin’s South By Southwest music festival, after he had to cancel a show early Thursday morning after a drunk driving incident. A motorist stopped for a possible DUI sped away from police and drove the wrong way down a one-way street, slamming into a crowd outside of the nightclub Mohawk, where Tyler was scheduled to perform. The driver is faced with two charges of capital murder and 23 counts of aggravated assault. Tyler expressed his grief on his Twitter, and also his aggravation at speculation that his arrest is connected in any way to the drunk driving incident.

Seems like Tyler can’t catch a break. Do you think Tyler will return to SXSW after the drama-filled week he’s endured?

  • George Lopez Jokes About Public Intoxication Arrest

After George Lopez was arrested last month for public intoxication in a Canadian casino, the comedian and actor discussed the incident on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Lopez was found passed out on the floor of the Caesars Windsor Hotel and Casino and was released a few hours after his arrest. Lopez won’t be facing any charges in the incident.

Even though Lopez’s arrest probably serves as a bit of a wake up call, since the Saint George star claims he is giving up drinking, he still manages to find humor in the rather serious situation. “Apparently I’m a bigger Justin Bieber fan than I thought I was,” the comedian joked to Ellen. “They always say, ‘Whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,’ but whatever happens in Canada, everybody knows.”

In case you missed it, the picture below shows George Lopez passed out at the casino. As Lopez quipped to Ellen, he was heading back to his room, but “missed it by 35 floors.”

“Just because Mexicans invented tequila doesn’t mean we can handle it,” Lopez said on being found passed out in the floor.

“I was a bit intoxicated,” Lopez told Ellen and then quipped, “[The Canadian police] said ‘Sir, this behavior cannot continue, and if it does continue, we would be honored if you would be mayor of Toronto.’” In case you don’t keep up with Canadian happenings, Lopez is making a joke about Rob Ford, the Toronto mayor who was caught smoking crack on camera last year.

All jokes aside, Lopez did say that he hasn’t had anything to drink since the arrest. “Since then I have not had a drop of alcohol,” Lopez said. “That was a nice going-away party for that guy, and then I’m the new George now sitting here in front of you.”

Check out Lopez’s appearance on Ellen below.

While some folks are undoubtedly wagging their fingers at Lopez’s indiscretion, actor Charlie Sheen decided to poke fun at the comedian for doing a crappy job of passing out. George Lopez did a guest spot on Sheen’s Anger Management, and in a short video clip obtained by TMZ, Sheen shows Lopez how to pass out properly on the set. Check out the video below.

  • Holly Bobo: Parents Still Have Many Questions

Don Franks, pastor of the grieving family of Holly Bobo, has been by their side since the disappearance of the promising young nursing student almost three years ago.

That time has been anything but easy and Franks has been there to witness the ups and downs of family life ever since tragedy struck the household.

Franks told WKRN, “Every day is a difficult day and of course when I having things go on like we had go on, it’s a roller coaster for them. It really is”.

Since their daughter was taken from her home in Parsons, Tenn., Holly’s parents have been left with many questions.

The accusation made against Zachary Adams has been baffling to both family and the community, who’ve observed multiple search warrants executed in recent days.

Adams had not been previously named as a suspect in Bobo’s disappearance and speaking on behalf of her family, Franks said that they were not aware of any connection between the missing nursing student and Adams.

Adams’ property in Holladay, Tenn. was the site of a thorough search by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. It is located nearly 15 miles from where Bobo was taken.

Though charges of murder and aggravated kidnapping have been filed against Adams in relation to Bobo’s death, the man already in custody.

Adams is currently being held on a $1 million bond for aggravated assault and drug-related charges. He was arrested at the Benton County home of his girlfriend.

It has been recently reported that he will be arraigned for the assault and drug charges on March 11th.

Even though plenty of questions remain regarding Adams’ alleged role in Holly Bobo’s death and location where her body was found, Franks says that her parents are “very thankful for everything law enforcement is doing.”

He commended the investigators on their “very hard and diligent” work.

Though Holly Bobo’s parents must continue to wait for answers in the case, there is now a greater chance at arriving at a place of truth and finally understanding how and why their daughter disappeared.

Early Tuesday morning, NFL wide receive Roddy White was arrested by the Gwinnett County Police. Unlike other NFL arrests in 2013 and 2014, this one does not involve drugs or violence. Fortunately for fans of the Atlanta Falcons and for Roddy White himself, the reason for the arrest is quite minor.

At a little after 3:00 am Tuesday morning, Gwinnett County police pulled Roddy White over for traveling 75 mph in a 65 mph zone along I-85. Upon running White’s credentials, police discovered that White had an outstanding warrant for “non-transparent material on windows,” an offense for which White failed to appear in court. Due to his negligence, White was booked at the Gwinnett County Jail around 4:30 am Tuesday morning and was promptly released after posting the $168 bail and spending a whopping 90 minutes in the slammer.

While one can expect that this incident will carry no fine or punishment from the NFL or the Falcons, Atlanta released a statement this morning in which they declined to comment on the issue: “We are aware of the incident involving Roddy White. We anticipate this will be resolved shortly and we will have no further comment at this time.”

White is currently in his 9th season in the NFL after being chosen by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round of the 2005 draft. Thus far in his career, White has proven to be an important fixture of the explosive Atlanta offense, racking up nearly 10,000 yards and 55 touchdowns. White has been selected to play in 4 Pro Bowls and led the NFL in receptions in 2010. This past season, however, White’s performance was hampered by injury and as a result the Falcons’ wide receiver caught only 63 passes for a total of 711 yards and 3 touchdowns

Fortunately for White, his misfortune may be overshadowed by news generated from fellow teammate and now former NFL player Tony Gonzalez. The former Falcon and arguably best tight-end of all time cemented his departure from the NFL Tuesday as he signed a contract with CBS to become an analyst on The NFL Today and other pre- and post-game shows for the network.

  • More on Justin Bieber’s Arrest

    More on Justin Bieber’s Arrest

Justin Bieber just can’t keep out of making headlines.

When the pop star was arrested in Miami Beach last month after cops suspected he was drag racing, he was clocked doing 136 mph just a few hours before the arrest. According to the GPS speed readout, Bieber hit 108 mph at 1:32 a.m. and he accelerated to 136 mph a minute after.

The Canadian was speeding in his rented Lamborghini. The GPS speed readout also showed that when cops said he was drag-racing, he was only going 27 mph.

The musician was busted at 4 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23. He was charged with a DUI, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license.

Since making nearly every tabloid, Bieber has been spending some much-needed time to get himself together. The star even took to Instagram to share what he’s been doing these past few weeks.

It seems Bieber’s actions have caused so much turmoil that a petition was started to deport the star. Michelle Obama chimed in on the series of incidents Bieber has been involved in lately.

“I would be very present in his life right now,” the First Lady said. “I would be probably with him a good chunk of the time, just there to talk, to figure out what’s going on in his head, to figure out who’s in his life and who’s not, you know.”

“They just want you near, you know — they want that advice from a parent. They want to see you on a daily basis, you know, because the thing is he’s still a kid. He’s still growing up. So, I would pull him close,” she said.

His trial date is set for March 3.

  • Infant Found Alive in a Tote Bag 250 Miles Away From Home

An Iowa police chief found a 6-day-old baby boy Friday who was abducted Thursday morning from his cradle in a Wisconsin home.

Kayden Powell was found 250 miles away from home outside a gas station in West Branch, Iowa.

Forty police officers were dispatched to a 911 call in search of the infant.

FBI agent G.B. Jones reported that the baby’s cries led police officers to the exact location during the search.

“Our efforts are clearly focused on reuniting mother and child and the rest of the family members with the child. That’s the immediate focus. In fact, we’re taking steps right now to make sure that happens,” Jones said after finding the baby in a plastic storage bin amid the frigid winter temperatures.(image)

The mother, 18-year-old Brianna Marshall of Beloit, Wis., woke up around 4:30 a.m. to find her baby boy missing.

Police officers said that Marshall and the baby’s father Bruce Powell, 23, were staying at the house at the time of the infant’s disappearance. Marshall’s alleged stepsister, Kristin Smith, was also at the house, but left around 1:30 a.m. to travel back to Colorado where she lives.

Family members, including Kayden’s parents, were questioned and said to be cooperating with authorities.

Beloit Police Chief Steven Kopp said that because there was no forced entry, the disappearance raised even more questions.

Unrelated charges were brought against Smith Friday afternoon for warrants based out in Texas.

Smith, 31, was arrested outside of the same gas station where Kayden was found and was initially said to be a “person of interest.”

According to the Daily Mail, she reported to police officers that she was the half-sister of Marshall and that both had discussed moving to Colorado, along with Powell, following Kayden’s birth.

Smith is currently being held in an Iowa jail and now faces up to life in prison if convicted of kidnapping.

Kayden was reported to be in perfect health and has been reunited with his family.

  • Billy Ray Cyrus Also Has Advice for Justin Bieber

As strange as it was to hear Miley Cyrus giving advice to the troubled Justin Bieber on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Miley’s dad Billy Ray Cyrus has also spoken up with some advice of his own. Rather than tell Bieber to hire someone to keep him out of trouble as Miley did, Cyrus thinks Bieber just needs to get back to nature.

“I would say, first of all, hey, I’m sure he’s got lots of people talking to him right now. I would just invite him to come down and chill out with me, maybe in Tennessee,” Cyrus told Access Hollywood. “Let’s go up to the teepee, build a fire, step away and just, you know, maybe take a break for a little bit, just think about what’s important. Get back to life…Build a fire, count the deer and the hawks and relax a little bit.”

Cyrus’s advice comes after Bieber’s string of run-ins with the law over the past month. Just days after the teen pop sensation was arrested in Miami for drag racing and driving under the influence, he was arrested in Toronto Wednesday on assault charges.

Aside from hanging out with Billy Ray in a teepee, Cyrus also thinks that Bieber needs to start focusing on his music. “He’s got a long life ahead of him and I’d like to see him just kind of maybe, enjoy a little bit of what he’s got and focus back on the music,” Cyrus said. “He’s a great artist.”

Not surprisingly, Cyrus offering up advice to Bieber has generated quite a bit of snark on Twitter. Even though Miley hasn’t been arrested, not many people consider Billy Ray the guy to go to for parental advice, especially since he has been vocally supportive of his daughter’s twerking.

  • Miley Cyrus Offers Advice to Justin Bieber

It’s no secret that Justin Bieber has been in a lot of trouble lately, to the point that thousands of Americans have signed a petition to deport him on the White House’s “We the People” website. Following a DUI arrest last week and assault charges in Canada that the pop singer turned himself in for this week, it’s clear Bieber needs some advice (at a minimum), which Miley Cyrus has been kind enough to offer.

During Thursday night’s episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Cyrus said that Bieber should keep his partying at home. “You’ve got a lot of money. Pay people to make sure you don’t get into trouble,” Miley said. “Party at your house. Buy a house. Add a club to it.”

You might think that Ms. Twerks-a-Lot is the last person who should be giving out advice, but Cyrus notes that she was never arrested as a teen. “You know it’s funny because today I was looking, my fans had put all these mugshots up and they were like, ‘I don’t see a Miley mugshot yet.’” While Cyrus admits that she does a lot of stuff, she says that she isn’t doing anything illegal. “Everything I do is legal in California,” Cyrus said.

Miley Cyrus isn’t the only celebrity to throw some advice Justin Bieber’s way. Former Bee Gees front man Barry Gibb talked about Bieber on the Today show yesterday. “You can lose perspective, but you can also lose them in the long run if you’re not a role model,” Gibb said. “Hopefully what he does on stage and the way he dances and the way he sings, he will apply that to his real life. There’s a discipline in what he’s doing. Apply that discipline to how you want to behave.”

After surrendering himself to the Toronto police yesterday, Bieber returned to dad Jeremy Bieber’s home, which Jeremy announced on Twitter (below). Since it isn’t likely that Bieber will heed Cyrus or Gibb’s advice, perhaps the pop sensation’s dad will be able to get through to his son.
