  • Heidi Montag Reaches Out to Troubled Amanda Bynes, Offering Her a Place to Stay

Heidi Montag has reached out to troubled actress Amanda Bynes, offering her a place to stay.

The former The Hills star made her offer after photos of the beleaguered actress sleeping on a couch at the Beverly Center shopping mall in Los Angeles were released on Thursday.

Earlier in the day, Bynes tweeted that she wasn’t given money for a hotel from her parents, so she has been staying with friends and fell asleep on the mall couch.

TMZ reported on Thursday that Bynes’ mother, Lynn, is relinquishing the conservatorship over her daughter because she just can’t handle it anymore. Apparently, a mental health professional better equipped to care for Bynes will take over, while a money manager will take over Bynes’ finances.

On Tuesday, it was reported that Bynes’ parents were giving her $50 and $100 gift cards to get by rather than cash.

The actress, who was reportedly diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, has been tweeting a slew of disgruntled tweets about her family’s control over her money. A judge gave conservatorship of her assets to her parents last month after the actress displayed more and more disturbing behavior, which was attributed to her mental illness.

The 28-year-old was released from the Las Encinas psychiatric facility on Oct. 30.

  • Amanda Bynes, Reportedly Suffering From Bipolar Disorder, Goes on Twitter Rant

Amanda Bynes, who was reportedly diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and is on medication, has once again taken to Twitter with some confusing statements.

On Tuesday, the beleaguered actress tweeted that she had been diagnosed with the disorder, but a subsequent tweet, which has since been deleted, seemed to insinuate that it wasn’t she who posted the tweet with the diagnoses.

“I was at a friends apartment last night and one of my friends tweeted my phone,” the subsequent post said. “sorry guys ”

The 28-year-old actress made headlines in October with bizarre behavior and posts on Twitter, in which she accused her father of emotional and physical abuse. Those posts have since been removed.

Since then, she was involuntarily hospitalized after a ruse was concocted by her parents to get her to the hospital. She was later held for a longer period after doctors determined she was not well enough to be discharged.

Later, a conservatorship hearing was held and a judge ruled that her parents would have control over her assets.

Bipolar disorder, also known as manic-depressive illness, according to the National Institute of Mental Health, causes intense emotional periods called “mood episodes.” These range from manic (extremely happy) to depressive (extremely sad).

The disorder often appears in the late teens or early 20s and can be controlled with medication.

Since Tuesday, a slew of confusing tweets have been posted by Bynes.

  • Amanda Bynes Currently Under Psychiatric Hold

Amanda Bynes has been placed under psychiatric hold after acting bizarre, paranoid and erratic for the last few weeks. Last year Bynes was arrested and ordered to go to rehab. She was released from rehab in December into the care of her parents and had been making great progress.

She was photographed with her parents often after her release from rehab and appeared to be happy and healthy. She also enrolled in fashion school a few months after her release and seemed excited about attending school.

A few weeks ago Bynes was kicked out of school for acting strange and behaving badly. One of her classmates claimed that she would talk to herself and out loud when she shouldn’t, laugh randomly, interrupt class constantly and was even caught cheating on a test and trying to pay other students to do her homework and class assignments.

A short time after Bynes was kicked out of school she was pulled over and arrested for DUI. After being released on bail she disappeared for a few days and showed up in NYC acting paranoid and erratic.

Bynes’ parents were worried about the condition of their daughter but confirmed that she is now safe in a California hospital where she is being held until doctors and psychiatrists can determine what is causing her strange behavior.

Bynes arrived back in LA by flight on Friday and was picked up by a chauffer who she believed was taking her to her attorney’s office. Instead she was driven to a Pasadena treatment center where she still remains.

As unfortunate as it is that Bynes has to be held in the hospital, a source told People that her parents are just happy she is safe and being cared for properly.

“They’re happy she’s safe and that Amanda is finally getting some help,” the source said.

  • Amanda Bynes Hospitalized On Involuntary Psych Hold Parents Arranged

Amanda Bynes has been hospitalized on an involuntary psychiatric hold.

The actress was hospitalized in Los Angeles on Friday after having a very difficult week, with reports surfacing of bizarre behavior, TMZ reports. Bynes’ hospitalization came less than 24 hours after she posted a Twitter rant against her father, Rick Bynes — which she later retracted — claiming he had sexually, physically and verbally abused her.

According to TMZ, doctors placed Bynes on a 5150 psychiatric hold for 72 hours, which can be extended for two weeks.

The website also reports that placing the 28-year-old under another conservatorship is also a priority. Bynes lived with her parents until a court-ordered conservatorship ran out last month and may have something to do with her recent relapse into devastating behaviors associated with mental illness.

Apparently Bynes’ parents made arrangements to hospitalize their daughter soon after landing at LAX Airport. Bynes allegedly believed she would be driven by a car service to The London Hotel to meet her parents and their lawyer. Instead, she was brought to a Pasadena, California, hospital.

While the actress was in New York, she allegedly stole a $200 hat from Barneys department store and acted erratically in several other boutiques. She also went on multiple Twitter rants.

In July 2013, Bynes was hospitalized on a 5150 psychiatric hold after allegedly setting fire in an elderly woman’s driveway.

Things seemed to be looking up for Bynes in recent months until this most recent relapse.

Let’s hope Bynes gets the help she needs and deserves.
