  • Josh Duggar Joins ’19 Kids and Counting’ Siblings Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald Wishing Jim Bob Duggar Happy Father’s Day

Josh Duggar joined siblings Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard, as well as some of the younger 19 Kids and Counting children, in wishing patriarch Jim Bob Duggar a happy Father’s Day.

This is one of very few online sightings of Josh Duggar since he was thrust into the spotlight for having sexually molested five underage girls–two of whom are sisters Jill and Jessa Duggar–when he was a teenager. He and wife Anna Duggar returned to Arkansas last week–leaving their Washington, D.C. area home when Josh was forced to resign his position with the Family Research Council following the media frenzy.

Josh Duggar took to the Duggar Family Website on Sunday, sharing a clip that features him with wife Anna Duggar–who is expecting their fourth child imminently–and sharing Father’s Day sentiments with Jim Bob Duggar.

“Happy Father’s Day. I can remember as a little boy, riding the tow truck with you and spending all those hours together. And then as I grew up a little bit, we were at the car lot together and I can remember learning how to do business deals and fill out the paperwork and all those things,” Josh begins.

Ben and Jessa Duggar Seewald shared the following Father’s Day message with Jim Bob.

Check out what Jill Dillard Duggar and hubby Derick Dillard had to say.

Not much is ever heard of or from Jason Duggar. The 15-year-old sounds like he has learned something quite profound during the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal when he says Jim Bob Duggar has taught him to understand “that everyone makes mistakes and there’s a way to move on.”

Interestingly enough, Jason Duggar’s clip is no longer available on the Duggar Family Website.

Johannah Duggar, who is just nine years old, is happy that her dad spends time with “us kids at home.”

Josh and Anna Duggar backed out of an appearance at the ALIVE Christian Music Festival in Ohio this weekend, where they were scheduled to speak to the crowds. Sisters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald and their husbands, Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald, attended and spoke at the event.

Do you suppose Josh Duggar’s warm Father’s Day message to Jim Bob Duggar is an indication that things are okay between him and the 19 Kids and Counting patriarch?

  • Duggar Family: ‘We’re Not Perfect,’ Jill Duggar Dillard Says of ’19 Kids and Counting’ Brood

The Duggar family has dominated the media since word of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal broke several weeks back. In their first public appearance since TLC removed episodes of 19 Kids and Counting from the network, sister Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald–both of whom admit they are Josh Duggar’s victims–made a public appearance. The siblings, along with husbands Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald, respectively, spoke at the ALIVE Christian Music Festival in Ohio this weekend.

Although neither Jill nor Jessa discussed the scandal that has no doubt encompassed the Duggar family these past few weeks, Jill Duggar said one of the messages of their show is that they have struggles just like everyone else.

“Hey we’re not a perfect family, we mess up,” she told the crowd during a Q&A-style session on the ALIVE Music Festival’s Beach stage. “Imagine what life is like with a family with two or three kids and multiply that about 10 times over and that’s what you get.”

Josh and Anna Duggar were also scheduled to speak at the event, but in light of the prevailing circumstances, backed out of the festival’s lineup.

Jill Duggar and her husband, as well as Jessa Duggar and hubby Ben Seewald spoke about the love they share as couples, and the role of their strong Christian faith in their lives.

Derick Dillard said God has long prepared him for his role.

“I was actually the mascot in college, so at birthday events, events for little kids, I’d have kids climbing all over me and so I kind of felt the same way whenever I’d go over to the Duggars’ house before we got married, when we were courting,” he said. “It was kind of the same, but now…you don’t have a giant head on.”

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald shared at the event that although she is pregnant–their baby is due on their first anniversary, November 1st–they still want to eventually welcome children into their lives through adoption.

“We’ve been looking into different options, maybe going through the state or a private adoption agency and that sort of thing,” she said.

There are some restrictions, however, that will prevent Ben and Jessa from adopting right away. The state of Arkansas requires couples be married for a few years prior to adopting, and some private agencies require that any children already in the home be at least nine months old.

“We still have another year to go,” Jessa said.

The Duggar family is growing by leaps and bounds–even without an imminent adoption plan for Ben and Jessa Seewald. Derick and Jill Dillard welcomed baby Israel into their lives in April, and Josh and Anna Duggar are expecting their fourth child next month.

  • Jill Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald Travel to Ohio for First Public Appearance Since Josh Duggar Sexual Molestation Scandal

Jill Dillard (nee Duggar) and Jessa Duggar Seewald, along with their husbands, headed off to Ohio this weekend for their first public appearance since the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal broke a few weeks ago. The two couples–along with Derick and Jill Dillard’s baby boy Israel–will appear at the ALIVE Christian music festival in Mineral City, Ohio.

This is the first public appearance for the 19 Kids and Counting sisters, who both admitted they were victims of their brother’s sexual molestations.

The ALIVE Christian Music Festival is a four-day event that features camping, music, seminars, workshops, children’s programs, and more, along with morning worship services every day. Skillet, Toby Mac and Lecrae are among this year’s featured musical acts.

Billed on the program at the festival, Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband are listed as ‘The Dillards,’ and Jessa Duggar Seewald and her husband as ‘The Seewalds.’ The Duggar name doesn’t appear. Josh Duggar and his wife Anna Duggar were supposed to speak at the event as well, but backed out for obvious reasons.

Both Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Dillard returned to social media in the past week–for the first time since word of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestations made news.

Jessa Duggar shared photos of the entire gang en route to their Ohio destination this weekend.

“Headed to the ALIVE Christian music festival with @ben_seewald, @jillmdillard @derickdillard & #IsraelDavidDillard! Awesome travel buddies!” she captioned this photo of Derick and Jill Dillard, her and hubby Ben Seewald, and Israel David Dillard.

Jessa shared an adorable shot of Israel prior to Saturday’s event at the music festival.

“This kid is the cutest! Headed to the ALIVE festival this afternoon!” she wrote.

No one can ever say Jill Dillard and hubby Derick don’t make cute babies.

Hopefully Jessa Duggar Seewald, Jill Dillard, and their respective husbands enjoy this time away. They have all been under a great deal of pressure ever since the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal first made news.

Do you expect the 19 Kids and Counting couples will receive a warm reception at the ALIVE Christian Music Festival?

  • Anna Duggar and Husband Cancel Appearance as Josh Duggar’s Sisters Jill and Jessa Duggar Head to ALIVE Christian Music Festival

Anna Duggar and her husband Josh aren’t showing their faces much these days in light of his sexual molestation scandal running rampant in the media. In fact, Josh and Anna recently canceled a speaking engagement at the ALIVE Christian Music Festival in Ohio, scheduled for this weekend.

Even though Josh and Anna Duggar backed out of the event, that didn’t prevent 19 Kids and Counting siblings Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald from both attending and speaking. The sisters, accompanied by husbands Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald–along with Jill Duggar’s baby Israel–headed for Ohio on Friday.

Jessa Duggar Seewald chronicled the first part of their journey via Instagram.

“Headed to the ALIVE Christian music festival with @ben_seewald, @jillmdillard @derickdillard & #IsraelDavidDillard! Awesome travel buddies!” she traveled her first post.

Earlier on Saturday, Jessa shared a photo of Jill Duggar Dillard’s baby boy, all dressed up for the event.

“#IsraelDavidDillard This kid is the cutest! Headed to the ALIVE festival this afternoon!” she captioned the adorable shot.

Jessa shared a selfie of herself with hubby Ben Seewald. They are expecting their first child on their wedding anniversary–November 1st.

“Yay! Headed to the ALIVE festival with @jillmdillard & @derickdillard!” she captioned the photo.

While it’s sad that Anna Duggar couldn’t appear at the event because of her husband’s past actions, it’s likely for the best. It’s uncertain what kind of reception the two would have gotten upon showing up at the festival.

Anna Duggar is expecting the couple’s fourth baby next month. Hopefully the stress of what she has endured in the past month hasn’t been a great burden on her pregnancy.

It will be interesting to learn if Jessa Duggar Seewald or Jill Duggar Dillard hear any derogatory remarks about Josh Duggar at the event. Do you suppose anyone will ask them why Josh and Anna Duggar canceled their appearance–or is it simply a given that practically everyone knows?
