    The Voice: Final Performance Show(down)

Monday night’s episode of The Voice featured strong performances from the final three contenders: Tessanne Chin (Jamaica), Will Champlin (California), and Jacquie Lee (New Jersey).

All singers performed three songs including duets with their coaches, Adam Levine and Christian Aquilera, who are the only coaches remaining in the competition.

16-year old Lee held her own during the final performance show by singing “Back to Black” and duet “We Remain” with coach Aguilera.

“The amount of talent you have in that little body, for being 16 years old, is unbelievable,”Aguilera told Lee.

“To see you evolve on the show – sister, that was amazing,” three-time winner Blake Shelton told Lee.

Lee closed with the showstopper “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going” from Dreamgirls.

However, Lee will have a tough time beating Chin who took on Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing,” in “tribute” to the late singer.

According to People, the crowd’s cheers were non-stop and Chin’s coach, Levine, said he had no words, just “emotions.”

“It’s sacred ground. We lost Whitney too early. So many people stay away from her [songs] because it’s incredible, one of the best vocals ever recorded … impossible to replicate,” Levine said, but added that Chin was up to the challenge. “You are just capable of anything and it blows me away. I know in my mind and heart you are the winner of this show.”

Champlin, the show’s remaining male singer, continued to show off his quirky sweet edge and skill when he joined his coach, Levine, for a duet of Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer.”

In the early weeks of the show, the 30-year old was moved between judges, stolen, and saved but, on Monday evening, he proved an equal to Levine.

“You have been nothing but devoted,” Levine told Champlin, noting his deep respect for the singer’s work ethic. “I think we are cut from the same cloth.”

A winner will be crowned on the show’s finale Tuesday.

  • The Voice: Blake Shelton Predicts Winner

The Voice has just three finalists remaining and Blake Shelton believes he knows which one will emerge victorious. Shelton watched his last contestant leave the competition on Tuesday, after weeks of believing Cole Vosbury had what it took to win the competition. Now with no one left on his team, he is predicting the winner.

“I’m bummed about it. I wanted that for Cole. He’s just a good dude, he truly is,” Shelton said in an interview with The TODAY Show. “But that’s not all it takes to win this thing. You’ve got to have something that none of us can figure out.”

Even though Blake thinks this season wasn’t as obvious as previous ones–where he maintained it was easy to tell who was going to win–he does think at this point one contestant is favored over the others as the overall winner of the show.

“And if you go by this week’s performance, everything points to Tessanne (Chin) right now, so that wouldn’t surprise me to see (her win),” he says.

Tessanne Chin wowed the judges, the audience and home viewers with her spectacular performance of Bridge Over Troubled Water this week. Her coach Adam Levine was blown away, as was just about everyone else who saw her perform.

It will certainly be interesting to learn next week if Blake Shelton’s prediction comes true. Since he clearly isn’t the winning coach on The Voice this season, he might find a bit of solace in having predicted the winner.

Blake knows he’s in for some serious ribbing–especially if he loses to Adam Levine. And given his belief that Tessanne Chin will win, that’s precisely who he’ll lose to if his prediction proves true.

  • Adam Levine Speechless Over Tessanne Chin Song

Adam Levine was left speechless after Tessanne Chin–one of his remaining contestants on The Voice–sang Bridge Over Troubled Water for this week’s competition. The amazing vocalist from Jamaica stunned the audience and viewers at home, too, with the awe-inspiring performance.

“That was crazy what just happened,” Levine said following Tessanne’s performance. “The sheer talent is just … I think that is probably the most flawless and graceful performance I’ve ever heard on this show.”

Chin hinted at some heartache she was experiencing prior to her performance on Monday night, but never explained to the audience what was happening. She did admit it lent itself to the raw emotion that was so incredibly apparent when she sang the old Simon & Garfunkel song.

Tessanne Chin was so excited when she learned how well her song did on iTunes that she shared word of her success via Instagram.

    Things kept getting better, too.

Do you think Tessanne Chin will win this season of The Voice? On Tuesday night she was named one of the three finalists. And while Adam Levine was no doubt sad to see contestant James Wolpert leave the competition, he still has two contestants left.

If Adam Levine wins this season of The Voice, he will probably tease fellow coach Blake Shelton mercilessly. Shelton won the last three seasons of The Voice. However his last contestant was voted off the show on Tuesday night.

Even if Adam doesn’t win, he should take great pride in having three of his contestants make it all the way to the show’s semifinals. Given the talent Tessanne Chin has, however, it doesn’t seem likely he’ll walk away from this season defeated.

  • The Voice: Will Adam Levine Win?

The Voice: Will Adam Levine Win?

The Voice has been dominated by Adam Levine’s team for the past two weeks. This week saw the Maroon 5 front man reign supreme for the third week in a row, when all three of his team members were moved along to next week’s competition. Is it possible that Blake Shelton won’t win this season of The Voice?

On Tuesday night, Tessanne Chin, Will Champlin and James Wolpert–all from Team Adam–were saved and moved on to next week’s competition. Jacquie Lee from Team Christina and Cole Vosbury from Team Blake were saved as well. That left Cee Lo Green’s only remaining contestant, Caroline Pennell, in the bottom three, along with Team Christina’s Matthew Schuler and Team Blake’s Ray Boudreaux. After yet another questionable Twitter save, Matthew Schuler was spared, and Caroline and Ray were sent home.

This means Cee Lo Green is out of the game. He knew that might be coming, and mentioned before Caroline Pennell was sent home that he was used to being the underdog.

“Don’t worry about me because I’m always affectionately the underdog,” he told Carson Daly. “It’s all good with me.”

Blake Shelton has one contestant left in the competition and Christina Aguilera has two. It’s uncertain if Adam Levine is happier about the possibility of winning or the possibility of Blake Shelton losing. Either way, Levine is looking pretty happy these days, as it’s the best season he’s had yet on The Voice.

Twitter followers seem sure that Team Adam will win this season of The Voice.

How might Blake Shelton fare if he doesn’t win his fourth season of The Voice? He will certainly never hear the end of it if he loses to Adam Levine, and the chances of that happening are looking better all the time.

  • Sexiest Man Alive- Adam Levine Takes The Title

Shout it from the roof tops, Adam Levine is the Sexiest Man Alive. It’s never an easy thing to choose the Sexiest Man Alive and being one has to be just as tough. Levine was happy to take the title from Channing Tatum, but said his fiance, Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo found his new title hilarious. Levine says that he expects the same reaction from his friends and close family.

Levine says he was surprised at the news and at first, thought it was a joke himself. When he realized it was real, he became a little embarrassed but also appreciative.

Becoming the Sexiest Man Alive isn’t an easy task and Levine had to beat out some real hotties to earn his title. Matt Bomer, Chris Hemsworth and Ryan Reynolds are just a few of the other hunks who were up for the win. Being sexy isn’t easy either. Levine says that to get his rock hard body he does yoga and spinning. These might not be the most masculine types of fitness, but hey, it’s obvious they work.

Levine will be marrying his fiance soon at what will likely be one of the sexiest weddings of all time. It seems the Sexiest Man Alive has a softer side that shows when he talks about his love life. He said,

“I didn’t think marriage was for me for a long time.” “I was ready when I was ready. That’s about as simple as it could possibly be.”

In an interview with People, Levine said that he felt like everything in his life was headed in the right direction and he was not taking anything for granted.

“This is just a really interesting time where everything seems to be heading in a certain direction,” he adds. “And I’m not taking any of it for granted,” he said.

  • Adam Levine is Named ‘Sexiest Man Alive’

Adam Levine is Named ‘Sexiest Man Alive’

The results are in and People magazine has decided on this year’s Sexiest Man Alive. The honor goes to Adam Levine, the front man for Maroon 5 and coach on The Voice. Levine now joins the ranks of men such as Channing Tatum and Bradley Cooper, the Sexiest Man Alive winners from the past two years.

To say that Levine, 34, was surprised to hear that he was being named Sexiest Man Alive would be an understatement. “As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn’t really think that this was on the table,” the singer told People. “I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren’t, so that’s cool.” It’s easy to understand why Levine was surprised since a tattooed rocker probably isn’t the typical face that comes to mind for this particular title, not that such stereotypes should matter–he obviously has quite an effect on women.

While most men would be honored by such a designation, when the rumors were leaked, Levine wasn’t too sure about receiving the title. “There is no way that [I’ll] ever be able to live it down,” Levine said at the time. “I’m going to be getting pranked by everyone, if it does happen…I’m going to be getting pranked by every single person I know!”

According to People, Levine is the first musician to ever be named Sexiest Man Alive. Idris Elba, Jimmy Fallon, Bruno Mars and David Beckham are a few of the celebrities Adam Levine beat out to receive the special designation. See Levine’s profile for the Sexiest Man Alive issue here.

  • Adam Levine Cheers for Model Girlfriend. Again.

Adam Levine was in the front row at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show on Wednesday to support his fiancee, Nambian model Behati Prinsloo. He sat with a group of friends who were more than happy to cheer their buddy’s girl down the runway. A witness told Us Weekly that “stood and cheered for Behati when she walked by.”

“He was a proud fiance,” the onlooker blabbed. “They were the only group going really crazy for any model. Behati would look over and blow him a kiss.”

Prinsloo walked the runway twice, both times throwing her cheering section giddy smiles and blowing kisses. On her final walk, leading the “Snow Angels” procession in a tiny, sparkly getup and gigantic angel wings, Levine and his group gave her the standing ovation, according to People.

This is strangely similar to a scene just two years ago, when Levine was present at the show, but a little more involved and in support of his now ex-girlfriend, model Anne Vyalitsyna. His band, Maroon 5 performed their hit song “Moves Like Jagger”. Then Levine walked Vyalitsyna down the runway. The two held hands, then Levine even gave her a peck on the cheek onstage. Awww.

But, Alas! It was not meant to be. Vyalitsyna said in a statement in April of 2012, “Adam and I have decided to separate in an amicable and supportive manner. We still love and respect each other as friends. I wish him all the best.”

But a source later confided to Us Weekly that their split wasn’t as amicable as she made it out to be. “Adam’s heartbroken. He wasn’t even fully sure they were really broken up.”

He was quick to move on, however, and ended up with Prinsloo the next month, and despite a quick split after a year, they became engaged over the summer.

“We’re just very excited to start a new chapter.” Said Prinsloo, who said she hasn’t made any wedding plans just yet.

  • “The Voice” Reveals Top 12 Contestants

“The Voice” Reveals Top 12 Contestants

We are down to the final 12 contestants on this season of “The Voice”. On Monday and Tuesday night, each contestant gave it their all during the live rounds, leaving the viewers to vote for the contestants they wanted to stay. On last night’s show, the top 12 were announced, shocking many of the viewers as their favorites were sent home.

The viewers voted for their top two on each team, and then each coach had to pick one, of the remaining three, to stay on their team. It was not an easy decision for any of the coaches. Before the results were announced, each team performed together, in a last ditch effort to impress their coaches.

First to hear their results were Team Blake. His team performed the song “Free Ride”. Then it was time for Blake to find out who would be his final team members. Viewers voted to keep Austin Jenckes and Cole Vosbury. Blake had to choose one to stay from the three remaining, Nic Hawk, Shelbie Z, and Ray Bourdreaux. “There’s no science to this,” Shelton explained. “The only thing I can really do is make a call based on my gut and the person I think I can affect change with the most.” After contemplating his decision, he went with Bourdreaux, sending Nik and Shelbie home.

    http://youtu.be/RB2gNsHPkA8

Team Cee Lo took the stage next, performing “Give a Little Bit”. Caroline Pennell and Jonny Gray were saved by the viewers, leaving Kat Robichaud, Amber Nicole, and Tamara Chaunice awaiting their futures. “I love you all in your own equally incomparable way,” he told the girls. “This is just one milestone achievement. Let this be the beginning of a wonderful journey to wherever your music and your heart takes you.” In the end, he decided to go with the fierce performer, Robichaud.

Next in line was Team Christina who performed “Love Somebody”, before finding out which of their team members would be leaving the show. Jacquie Lee and Matthew Schuler breathed a sigh of relief when they found out the viewers had saved them. Josh Logan, Stephanie Ann Johnson, and Olivia Henken stood on the stage, their fates in Christina’s hands, awaiting her decision. After a long explanation and promising to stay in touch with each of them, she chose to keep Logan, sending Johnson and Henken packing. “I have to go where my heart is invested right now, and where I’m interested to go,” she said.

Finally, it was time to for Team Adam, who performed “Safe and Sound”. James Wolpert and Tessanne Chin, were saved by the viewers, leaving a tough decision for Adam, as he had to decide between Will Champlin, Preston Pohl, and Grey. “No matter how you dice this, this is horrible,” he said. “This is going to be maybe surprising, I don’t know. Moving forward I have to choose the person I think I have the most potential with, and that person is Will.”

  • Olivia Henken Beats Teammate on “The Voice”

Olivia Henken Beats Teammate on “The Voice”

Louisville, KY native, Olivia Henken put on quite a show last night on “The Voice” and beat out her teammate, Stephanie Anne Johnson.

Olivia out sang Stephanie in an epic battle where they both did their rendition of “The Band Perry’s” hit song “Done”. The coaches were torn on who won the battle, with coaches Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green giving the win to Stephanie, and coach Blake Shelton cheering on country girl, Olivia. Ultimately, it was their coach, Christina Aguilera’s decision, and she chose Olivia as the overall winner.

Despite losing the round, Stephanie did not end up leaving the show. Cee Lo Green had one save left, and lucky for Stephanie, he stole her from team Xtina. “She’s remarkably talented. I’m looking forward to seeing what she can do in the future,” Green said.

Henken has already made success for herself in the music industry. According to her website, she has headlined Thunder Over Louisville the past 4 years performing for over 22,000+ people. She has also opened up for country singers, Kip Moore, Charlie Daniels, Dustin Lynch, Chuck Wicks and Jason Jones. She has been busy promoting her debut album, recorded in Nashville Tennessee, “The Ride”.

However, despite her current and past success, she remains humble and is just doing what she loves to do.

“This Kentucky native is proud to say she cannot wait to share her god-given talent with the world. She is honored to have such wonderful opportunities come her way and at such a young age,” according to her website. “Through belting out ballads and rocking out each and every show, Olivia has what it takes to entertain all ages. Olivia knows it is her fans who keep her going and seeing a smile on one persons face, makes every show worthwhile. It is important to her that everyone is having as much fun as she is.”

  • Blake Shelton And His Bromance With Adam Levine

Blake Shelton should be on cloud 9 since winning The Voice for three times in a row; however, there are some people who aim to make sure Blake Shelton does not get too big of a head to continue coaching for the hit television series. His well-known “bromance” with popular singer, Adam Levine, has served as entertainment for viewers, but now may have an additional purpose.

Blake recently spoke about his friendship with Adam. “(It) makes me happy. I live to make him feel bad about himself,” Blake said before adding, “I would say where there’s smoke, there’s fire. We’re very attracted to each other. I’m already married, so it’s never going to work out.”

Adam Levine has taken to twitter in order to jest the popular country singer. Some of the tweets Adam has used to tease Blake Shelton is the result of typical friendly banter.

However, some of the tweets are focused more on playfully encouraging other vocal coaches to make sure that Blake Shelton does not have four wins in a row.

Blake Shelton did not take the criticism, well more like playful ribbing, from Adam Levine too terribly bad.

“I had a hard time getting people to come with me this year on my team, and Adam had some good points. He threw out some stuff about the NBA and how nobody’s ever won four of anything in a row. I can’t remember what these stats were, but he actually got in some people’s heads and stole some people,” Blake Shelton said.

  • Adam Levine Calls out Lady Gaga in Twitter Rant

Maroon 5’s Adam Levine obviously feels some kind of way about the ‘fame monster,’ Lady Gaga. On Friday, Levine allegedly took to Twitter to state his level of disdain in regards to the musicianship and artistry of her craft.

While his insults weren’t blatant, his words were more than enough to raise speculation that he was taking aim at Gaga. Perhaps Gaga’s ‘Little Monsters’ took offense to his rant, and brought it to her attention or she just happened to notice. Either way, ‘Mother Monster’ must have felt the tinge of resentment, as she felt more than obliged to respond.

Levine kicked off his subliminal rant when he tweeted:

Gaga wasted little time responding to Levine’s underlying criticism in a subliminal tweet of her own:

While the low-key rant remained latent, the release of Gaga’s latest video, “Applause” put Levine’s comments into perspective proving his evasive criticism was definitely about her. In the new video, she makes several references to famous works of art including, “The Birth of Venus,” a notable painting by Sandro Botticelli.

It took him a while, but three days later, Levine decided to reply to the 27-year-old “Judas,” singer:

Lady Gaga has yet to tweet another response.

Since this isn’t the first jab taken at Gaga with the same allegation, it’s definitely justifiable for her to be in defense mode. Azealia Banks has also accused the “Bad Romance” singer of stealing the name of Banks’ track entitled, “Red Flame.” Gaga has also been compared to Madonna on a number of occasions, being accused of releasing newer versions of some of Madonna’s old work. Critics have often compared Gaga’s “Born this Way,” to Madonna’s “Express Yourself,” released in 1989. But regardless of what people think, Gaga has a proven track record of success in the music industry. The numbers definitely don’t lie.

  • Adam Levine Rumored to be Dating a SI Model

Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine is feeling the heat of American scorn today after saying, “I hate this country” live on NBC’s The Voice. Levine is a judge and coach on the show, and was upset about two of his singers not advancing. However much grief he gets for his comment, however, it seems he is now dating a woman who could easily take his mind off of it.

According to a People magazine report, Levine is now dating Danish model Nina Agdal. The publications cites an unnamed “source close to Levine” as saying the couple are dating casually, and that they are “just getting to know each other.”

Agdal is not the first model Levine has dated. From 2010 to 2012, Levine dated Victoria’s Secret model Anne Vyalitsyna. More recently, Levine was linked to Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo, who he reportedly broke up with in March.

  • Levine Caught Saying, ‘I Hate This Country’ on ‘The Voice’

NBC’s The Voice is the network’s answer to Fox’s ultra-popular network TV karaoke competition American Idol. Just like American Idol, fans of the show get some input on the outcome, voting on who they want to stay or go in any given week. This can be frustrating for judges on The Voice, who also serve as a coach for a team of contestants.

This week, judge and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine got frustrated with fans’ choices, and was caught saying, “I hate this country” live on TV. The comment came just after Levine realized that either Judith Hill or Sarah Simmons (or both) would be eliminated from the competition. The comment can be heard at around the 1:14 mark in the video below:

As it turns out, both Hill and Simmons – early favorites – were eliminated. Levine had been coaching both of the contestants for weeks. Only one contestant that Levine coached, Amber Carrington, moved on to the top 6.

Levine, through his Twitter account, has indicated that he was merely joking about hating his home country. He posted definitions for the words joke, humorless, lighthearted, and misunderstand:

  • SNL YOLO Video Receives Twitter’s Approval [Video]

It seems that one of many recipes for viral success these days is to play off of an already viral phenomenon. Of course, it helps if you have the broadcasting power that comes with that of Saturday Night Live. This past weekend’s show was hosted by Adam Levine, who participated in one of the classic-to-some digital shorts.

The video would be YOLO, and features, in addition to Levine, comedy troupe The Lonely Island (which includes SNL vet Andy Samberg) and rapper Kendrick Lamar:

The video has the web abuzz here on Monday morning, and people all over Twitter are talking about how hilarious it is.

  • Adam Levine Joins “Voice” Judges For Teary Tribute

Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo, and Blake Shelton took to the stage at the beginning of their top 3 show to pay tribute to the young victims of the Newtown shootings on Monday night, leaving the audience teary-eyed as they joined the remaining contestants in a haunting rendition of “Hallelujah” while holding up namecards for each victim.

The tribute, which took the place of the show’s usual loud, bright, over-the-top opening routine, has been widely regarded as the most touching version of the song that’s come about in a long time and was a much-needed nod to the families and victims of the Sandy Hook tragedy. “Saturday Night Live” also replaced their opening bit with a tribute, adding a children’s choir to the stage rather than a comedy sketch.

  • Adam Levine Posts Bloody Pic, Twitter Fans Swoon

Adam Levine should know better than to post pics out of context. The Maroon 5 singer recently tweeted a photo of himself with a bloody eyebrow and a busted lip. Before you start looking for the address of the unsavory individual who beat your favorite pop star to a pulp, it’s worth noting that the injuries were fake. That’s right, kids — Adam Levine is just portraying a roughed-up character in his latest video, a man who appears to be having a pretty rotten day. Unless you count the hot girl next to him. In which case, he seems to be doing okay.

In other words, breathe a sigh of relief.

The clip is for the song “Payphone”, which the band performed recently on NBC’s “The Voice”, a show which sports Levine as a co-host. To make the singer’s day even brighter, it’s being reported that he’s landed a role on the second season of “American Horror Story”. No word on who, precisely, Levine will portray, but according Wednesday’s promotional panel, he’s going to play a “sexy guy”. Well there’s a stretch.

Twitter fans were genuinely concerned for the tattooed singer, so much so that they felt the need to inquire about his condition. How brutally kind and considerate of them. Of course, most of them seemed to think the injury was beyond sexy. You can have a look at some of the tweets from both Levine and his fans below.
