  • Shannen Doherty Talks Breast Cancer Struggle With Dr. Oz

Shannen Doherty, star of the original 90210, talked with Dr. Mehmet Oz earlier this week about what she has endured since she was diagnosed with breast cancer in March of 2015. Dr. Oz reiterated her struggles during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, adding that Shannen Doherty is now trying to decide whether she should undergo a lumpectomy or a mastectomy.

“Shannen is juggling those two decisions–neither one is perfect but both are acceptable, as long as the cancer comes out,” Dr. Oz said. “The part of Shannen’s story that’s most stunning to me is that she’s had that cancer in her breast for over a year and hasn’t had it taken out yet – [the] cancer’s still in there.”

“She has decided to have the breast cancer to removed surgically, and that is a big decision for a woman… It was really up to Shannen to decide she was ready to go through an operation she feared would be disfiguring,” he added. “Shannen was very transparent about what’s going on in her breast–she has cancer on one side, it’s a big tumor–it has spread to the lymph nodes on that side, but we don’t have any evidence that it’s gone any further than that.”

Dr. Oz expects Shannen Doherty will make a full recovery.

“Thankfully, if we aggressively can treat it, we can save Shannen’s life, and her doctors are superb and they’re all over that decision,” he said.

On The Dr. Oz Show Thursday, Shannen Doherty said of her difficult decision, “Ultimately, they’re just breasts, right? I mean, I love them, they’re mine, they’re beautiful, but in the grand scheme of things, I would rather be alive, and I would rather grow old with my husband.”

Dr. Oz has fears that Doherty waited too long after discovering the lump before seeking medical treatment. He understands why she did, however.

“She had to come to grips with the fear–sometimes that fear has paralyzed her over the past year,” he said. “That’s why a bright woman has sat with a cancer in her breast for that long. We run from the things we fear–I think she’s embracing it now.”

It will be interesting to learn whether Shannen Doherty opts to have a mastectomy or a lumpectomy. Hopefully the 90210 alum makes a full and speedy recovery regardless of her choice,

  • Kristen Wiig, Will Ferrell to Star in Lifetime Parody Film, ‘A Deadly Adoption’

Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell are set to star in a Lifetime parody film to honor the 25th anniversary of Lifetime TV movies. A Deadly Adoption will air on June 20th. Ferrell had viewers believing the project had been scrapped.

News of the upcoming parody hit the media back in April, but Will Ferrell quickly announced that because word had leaked, the project was shut down. He blamed the internet.

“We are deeply disappointed that our planned top secret project was made public,” he said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly. “Kristen and I have decided it is in the best interest for everyone to forego the project entirely, and we thank Lifetime and all the people who were ready to help us make this film.”

That was apparently nothing but a big joke on Will Ferrell’s part, and Kristen Wiig went along with it, never admitting to the media that the show would still go on.

The two-hour long Lifetime movie stars the SNL alum duo as a couple who both houses and cares for a pregnant woman in hopes of adopting her baby. In keeping with the tradition of all Lifetime films–and hyping the parody–things quickly go awry.

Jessica Lowndes, known for her role on CW’s 90210 also stars in the film.

Early reviews for A Deadly Adoption say it is ‘campy’ and ‘fun.’ That sounds about right for both Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell.

Kristen Wiig has starred in several films since her time on Saturday Night Live, including Bridesmaids and The Skeleton Twins. Will Ferrell is best known for his roles in Elf, Anchorman, and Anchorman 2, since his SNL days.

Will you be tuning in to the Lifetime channel on June 20th to see Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig in A Deadly Adoption?

  • Jennie Garth: Her Children ‘Are Her Wedding Party’ When She Marries David Abrams

Jennie Garth of 90210 fame announced in April that she and actor David Abrams are engaged. She made the announcement on the heels of celebrating her 43rd birthday on April 3rd.

“Dave had been working on this for months, and really wanted to plan something special for her around her birthday and make it perfect,” a source told People magazine about the marriage proposal.

During a recent interview with E!, Jennie Garth dishes on plans for her wedding, including just who will be in her wedding party.

She was asked if the children she shares with ex-husband Peter Facinelli of Twilight fame–Luca, 17, Lola, 12, and Fiona, eight–will be part of that wedding party.

“Yes, they are my wedding party. Period,” came Jennie Garth’s reply.

She went on to share a few–but very few–details about her dress.

“I’m working with a really amazing designer, I’m so excited,” she said.

This will be the third trip down the aisle for Jennie Garth. Prior to her marriage to Peter Facinelli–which lasted for 12 years–she was married to Daniel Clark for two years. She and Peter Facinelli share custody of their three daughters.

Known for being a big do-it-yourselfer, Jennie Garth was asked if she plans to DIY her wedding.

“Yes, definitely,” she replied. “I’m so excited to have a project because I finished building the house and now I need something to do so I’m excited to sort of be my own wedding coordinator—make a lot of stuff myself and hopefully it turns out good.”

If you missed out on The Jennie Garth Project on HGTV, you must check out the episodes–all of which are available online. You’ll see the kind of DIY work Jennie Garth is capable of completing.

How exciting for Jennie Garth that she has this wedding to plan, and that her three daughters will comprise her entire wedding party.

Don’t you hope that lots of her DIY wedding projects find their way online?

  • AnnaLynne McCord Dating Retired Lakers Player Rick Fox

AnnaLynne McCord has a new man in her life. She is dating retired Lakers small forward Rick Fox. And despite their age difference–he is 45 and she is 27–the two seem very happy together.

People magazine reports that the two were spotted together in Arizona this weekend at a pre-Super Bowl function, and they didn’t hide their PDA. Fox arrived at the event ahead of AnnaLynne McCord, who joined him shortly thereafter.

“As soon as she arrived they were together for the rest of the evening,” a source told People. “They were really cute, holding hands, and even while fans asked Rick to take pics he held her hand while he took pics with them.”

Later in the evening AnnaLynne McCord was overheard referring to Fox as her “boyfriend” and the two posed together for photos, too.

Rick Fox was married to Vanessa Williams for five years. He was most recently linked to actress Eliza Dushku, but the two split up last year.

The Nip/Tuck and 90210 star dated Dominic Purcell for three years. The two broke up in December.

AnnaLynne McCord made news back in June when she went public about having been raped as a teenager. She became an advocate for survivors of sexual assault, as well as those who endured human trafficking, as a result of her own assault.

“I needed to rescue [myself]. Now that I rescued [myself], I rescue those girls and do the right things for the right reasons,” she said when she went public about being sexually assaulted.

Hopefully both AnnaLynne McCord and Rick Fox have found love in their relationship. With both having just emerged from ended relationships, however, do you think it’s way too soon to expect that?

  • AnnaLynne McCord Trades In Dominic Purcell For Julian Edelman?

AnnaLynne McCord and Dominic Purcell have ended their three-year relationship and it looks like the 90210 alum has already moved on — or wants to move on — to greener pastures, or football fields, as the case may be.

McCord’s rep confirmed the breakup on Friday.

“They have split,” her rep told Us Weekly, noting that the former couple are “still amicable.”

The 27-year-old actress and the 44-year-old actor, who began their relationship on the set of the CW series in July 2011, were last seen together at the premiere of her directorial debut, I Choose, back in June.

According to JustJared, who broke the news of the breakup, McCord already has a new guy on which to focus her attention — New England Patriots’ Julian Edelman.

The Nip/Tuck alum traveled down to San Diego last weekend to watch the 28-year-old wide receiver and his team take on the Chargers.

Happily, Tom Brady led the Patriots to a 23-14 win over the Chargers, making her trip to Qualcomm Stadium all the sweeter.

Edelman replied to her selfie with rather neutral reply.

McCord also flaunted the fact that she is a diehard Pats fan and therefore a “keeper” on her Twitter account.

Only time will tell if this flirtation will develop into anything significant, but it’ll be fun to see if her overtures are successful.

  • Tori Spelling Apologizes to Dean McDermott’s Ex-Wife For Sleeping With Her Husband While They Were Still Married

Tori Spelling has apologized to her husband’s ex-wife for commencing their affair while McDermott was still married to his former wife.

On an upcoming episode of True Tori, the former 90210 actress meets up with Mary Jo Eustace, according to RadarOnline.

Spelling and McDermott, who have been married for eight years and have four children together, have made numerous headlines of late after he reportedly admitted he has had sex with at least five other women during their marriage.

“No one else knows better what I’m going through better than her,” Spelling says about wanting to meet Eustace in the episode.

When they finally meet, Spelling attempts to apologize.

“I can’t help the fact that I fell in love with him,” she says. “And I’m sorry that we didn’t handle it a different way.”

Eustace responds with a what goes around, comes around kind of answer to the apology.

“Well, I appreciate your apology, but every choice has a consequence,” Eustace responds.

The meeting and apology come after a discussion during a couples therapy session about a meeting she had with her ex-husband Charlie Shanian, who she left for McDermitt.

“There’s been a definite disconnect since I saw Charlie,” Spelling says.

McDermott tells Spelling he feels he is “not the person” for Spelling.

“That makes me scared that you’re going to leave me,” she responds to his revelation.

McDermott recently revealed that he is leaving the show for good.

“We have five more shows left… I can’t do this anymore,” he told Access Hollywood earlier this week.

“I can’t keep opening a vein, opening my soul and sharing my feelings and thoughts and demons with the world,” he said.

  • Jennie Garth And Tori Spelling Team Up Again

Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling both starred in the television show 90210 in the 90’s. Jennie played the character of Kelly and Tori played Donna.

The actresses are now working together again on the television show Mystery Girls. The show Mystery Girls is about former co-stars of a hit ’90s detective TV show of the same name. They’ve gone their separate ways, until a crime occurs, and the witness will only talk to them. The girls then open a detective agency and start solving crimes on their own.

While the story line of Mystery Girls is completely different than that of 90210, Jennie says that Tori is just as funny and fun to work with as ever.

“I feel safe doing some, like, goofy, crazy face and voice because it’s my friend. I know she’s gonna be there to support my efforts,” explained Spelling in a recent interview.

“She knows I love it,” added Garth, who readily admits she’s the first to break character in a scene.

Jennie and Tori don’t only act on the show, they are also both executive producers. Tori claims that she enjoys getting to be a part of the little things that makes the show so great.

They both claim that they rarely disagree on things that pertain the show but when they do, Jennie lets Tori have the final say because the show was her idea.

Spelling said that it was always her dream to do a comedy sitcom and is something she enjoys very much.

“I did the best I could on ‘90210.’ Like I tried to make Donna funny. I was in a drama. Everyone else was great at drama, but I was like, ‘I think I’m better at comedy so how can I interject comedy here and there?’ and so Donna was kind of goofy, and I did things here and there, but I was always, this is harder for me. I wish I could do comedy,” Spelling said.

  • AnnaLynne McCord Reveals She Was Raped As A Child

In the July issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, Dallas star AnnaLynne McCord opens up about her troubled childhood and sexual abuse. In the essay she wrote for the publication, McCord explains that she wants to help other women and girls realize that they have a voice, and are not alone.

McCord started by explaining that she grew up in a strict and religious household. Her parents ideas of “discipline” were, in her eyes, abuse. She learned that the people who loved her hurt her, which led to a string of violent and abusive relationships with men.

“I had learned in my childhood, people who loved me hurt me,” McCord said. “I would slap the guys, antagonize them, until I believed they wanted to hit me. My sexual relationships were dark and violently dramatic.”

McCord revealed that her life finally started settling down when she was 16-years-old. She met a guy that she felt an immediate spark with and they later moved to New York City together to continue their modeling careers.

AnnaLynne then moved to Los Angeles when she was 18-years-old. Her boyfriend would soon follow, but she was alone for some time before that. One night, one of her guy friends asked to crash at her house. She explained that they stayed up talking and then she fell asleep. When she woke up, he was in the process of raping her.

“One night, a guy friend called. He said he needed a good night’s sleep for a meeting, as he’d been crashing on someone’s couch,” she said. “I had known him for some time, so I said to come over and I set him up with a clean towel. We sat on the bed and talked for a while, then I fell asleep. When I woke up, he was inside me.”

“At first, I felt so disoriented and numb, I closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep,” she continued. “I wondered if I had done something to give him the wrong idea. I felt afraid of making him angry. Believe it or not, I didn’t want to offend him. I just wanted it to be over. My childhood had come back to haunt me again: Because of the physical abuse, I didn’t believe there were borders between other people’s bodies and my own. I didn’t believe I had a voice.”

From then, AnnaLynne’s life spiraled downward. She revealed that she contemplated suicide and even had the pills ready to swallow at one point. Luckily, she realized that death wasn’t a solution. McCord sought professional help that has helped her get to where she is now.

At 26-years-old, AnnaLynne is in a very good relationship, and no longer feels shame for being intimate with him. She explained that she wanted to share her story so other people could learn from her past, and that her past may help them in their future.

“I have my message for women and girls: You have a voice,” McCord said. “Don’t put yourself in a box. Don’t let the polite lies of society silence you. Honestly, I would endure everything all over again — it has led me to my own revolution.”

  • Shannen Doherty Dishes On Former 90210 Cast

Shannen Doherty and Tori Spelling go way back. Back to their 90210 days. Doherty may have a reputation for being a mean girl, but she apparently has a soft spot for Spelling.

Spelling is currently going through a divorce and for some odd reason is choosing to air her dirty laundry on her reality show, True Tori. Rumor has it that several months ago, Tori’s husband Dean cheated on her.

His mistress claimed that he not only cheated with her but also confided in her, sharing secrets about his marriage and Tori.

At first, Tori tried to act like the rumors were not true but she later found out that Dean had indeed cheated on her and the couple is currently going through a divorce.

Doherty recently appeared on the Arsenio Hall show and offered some advice to Tori.

“Love yourself,” said Doherty. “We’re in a really harsh business where people tear you apart every single day. You always question yourself. You look in the mirror and you don’t see somebody beautiful. I just hope that Tori loves herself, because I think she should. She’s a beautiful girl and she needs to ignore the haters.”

Spelling wasn’t the only 90210 cast mate that Doherty dished about. Jason Priestley recently released a book of memoirs in which he refers to Doherty as a diva. In the book he refers to one incident writing,

“I could not believe my ears at Shannen’s very first words after she boarded,” the 44-year-old actor wrote in his book. “Her butt had barely hit her seat before she said loudly to the PR person, ‘Really? A town car? You send a town car to take me to the airport, not a limo?’ She sighed a very put-upon sigh. I laughed, as I couldn’t really tell if Shannen was kidding or not.”

While many people assumed Shannen would comment on the book with sarcasm or a snotty remark, she took the high road.

“It was so long ago,” she said. “I always say that everyone has their own version of the truth, and memories are very funny things.”

It seems like Shannen has matured out of her mean girl ways and has learned how to avoid drama.

  • Shannen Doherty’s ‘Heart Breaks’ for Tori Spelling

During a guest spot on the Arsenio Hall Show Thursday, Beverly Hills, 90210 and Charmed actress Shannen Doherty commented on the marital woes of former 90210 co-star Tori Spelling, and responded to former TV-twin Jason Priestley’s newly-released memoir.

Doherty admitted to Hall that she watches Lifetime’s reality series True Tori, and revealed that each episode leaves her shocked. “Wow, it’s just all out there!,” Doherty exclaimed, adding, “She is baring her soul and I think that everybody has their process of what’s cathartic for them in how to deal with something, and this might be hers.”

“My heart does break for her,” said Doherty. “It breaks for anybody that’s in that situation. I mean, that’s pretty awful and I certainly hope everything works out for the best. And in meantime, it’s making for some amazing TV – I just hope that Tori loves herself. She’s a beautiful girl and she needs to ignore the haters.”

Commenting on tidbits related in Priestley’s tell-all book, Hall recalled, “Back in the day, there was always stuff on my card about who you were battling with – They would say you’re battling with Tori, you’re battling with Jason, you’re battling with (Luke Perry)’s pig. Remember, Luke had a pig?”

Doherty responded, “I mean, I only met it once. It didn’t like me, I guess, but I hear it’s writing a memoir! Can’t wait for that!”

Here a stalwart Brandon (Priestley) gives twin sister Brenda (Doherty) a guilt trip over cigarette smoking, in a clip from the original Beverly Hills, 90210:

Doherty’s general take on pal Priestley’s tell-all was “let it be.” The actress, who will appear in Animal Planet’s Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys on May 25, added, “It was so long ago,” referring to her time on 90210. “I always say that everyone has their own version of the truth, and memories are very funny things.”

  • Megan Fox Gives Birth to Second Baby Boy

Megan Fox Gives Birth to Second Baby Boy

Megan Fox has given birth to her and hubby Brian Austin Green’s second son. The baby boy was born on Thursday. The Transformer and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle star’s first son with Green–her former 90210 costar–is named Noah. Noah is 15 months old.

Even though several sites are publishing this news, Megan Fox has yet to officially confirm it via social media as most celebrities do these days. This is very true to form for her, however. It was several weeks before she confirmed the birth of the couple’s first son back in 2012.

Shortly after confirming her pregnancy with this new baby, Fox said she was sure Noah would love being a big brother.

“I think [Noah is] going to be an amazing big brother with time,” she said during an interview.

“I think he has an idea, but I don’t think he understands that a baby will be living with us all of the time – that will be an adjustment,” she added.

All children go through an adjustment phase when a sibling is introduced to the family dynamic, however most quickly adapt excitedly to the situation. For Fox and Green’s son, this will no doubt be a lot of fun, since the two boys are so close together in age.

Brian Austin Green has a son named Kassius from a previous relationship with Vanessa Marcil.

“He loves to be the center of attention and I also think he is a really sensitive child. I think that he’s going to be a nurturer,” Megan Fox said of son Noah.

Regardless of an official announcement or not, congrats are likely going out from fans all over the world to Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green on the birth of their new baby boy. It will be interesting to see how long it takes before their news hits one of the new parent’s social media accounts and it will be fun to learn what they name their new son.

  • Jennie Garth: Twilight Ruined her Marriage with Peter Facinelli?

Jennie Garth: Twilight Ruined her Marriage with Peter Facinelli?

It has been quite a month for former Beverly Hills 90210 stars. We reported earlier that Brian Austin Green (David Silver) is facing charges after he allegedly attacked a photographer and might be expecting a child with wife Megan Fox. Now Jennie Garth is speaking out about her split with her soon-to-be ex-hubby Peter Facinelli. Facinelli is best known for his role as Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight series.

Garth told People magazine that she worked really hard on her marriage and didn’t want to let go of Facinelli: “I was very resistant. I didn’t want it to happen. It took me some time to come to peace with it.”

The divorce comes as a surprise because the pair were together for over a decade. The couple have three daughters and used to dub themselves as the Facinelli Five.

Garth cites too much time apart as the reason their union is being severed.

Facinelli is filing for joint custody of their daughters.

Twitter users are sad to see the couple split:
