50 Cent & Steve Stoute Have A Confrontation

It’s no secret that 50 Cent and Steve Stoute do not like each other, and although they might not have to see each other very often, they crossed paths at a Knicks game last night at Madison Square Garden and had a small confrontation.

Although the feud between 50 Cent and Stoute has gone on since 50 Cent was dropped from Sony/Columbia Records, things have been heating up over the last few weeks. Stoute brought up 50 Cent in a couple interviews last week and 50 Cent didn’t like what he had to say.

“50 hasn’t had a hit in a really long time,” he said during a radio interview. “He has not made anything musically that has changed anything in a very really long time. I feel like he’s always gearing up for something that never happens.”

“50 Cent never thanked me for that. The guy made so much money off of that, and the guy never thanked me,” Stoute continued. “He walks around and says he can’t stand me. I don’t think he can stand anybody. I don’t know who he likes, but he definitely doesn’t like me. I gave him his first deal, gave him the sneaker deal. I don’t know. He just don’t like me.”

Although neither 50 Cent or Steve Stoute have offered any details about the confrontation and the words that were exchanged, it’s obvious that Stoute was right about 50 Cent not liking him. Photos of the confrontation show both sides looking angry and the intensity of 50 Cent’s face seems to show just how angry he really is with Stoute.

Luckily, things did not escalate past an argument and both men were able to control their tempers for the most part.

Do you think Steve Stoute is responsible for 50 Cent’s career or is he just telling lies because he is upset with the rapper?

  • 50 Cent Celebrates New Audio Line At NASCAR

An eager and excited 50 Cent was on a mission at Daytona for two reasons – to launch his SMS audio and headphone line and look for somebody to kiss to celebrate the occasion. However, 50 Cent’s foiled attempt at planting a kiss on Fox reporter Erin Andrews did not deter him from looking for someone else; he turned to Swan Racing driver Cole Whitt during a news conference for the NASCAR Daytona 500 Sprint Cup Series.

“I’m going to kiss Cole,” said 50 Cent.

“Only if I win,” Whitt replied.

The multi-platinum recording artist reached another milestone recently as he officially parted ways with Interscope Records, which served as his home label for a decade. Interscope can be credited for launching 50 Cent’s music career and catapulting him to being one of the most sought after hip-hop artists of this generation.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, is also leaving Shady/Aftermath, the Eminem-Dr. Dre collaboration that discovered and signed him as their first artist. 50 Cent expressed his gratitude to the two mentors that helped make his debut record “Get Rich or Die Tryin’ “a worldwide success that sold over 13 million copies.

Along with his G-Unit Records, the rapper has signed a worldwide distribution agreement with independent label Caroline of the Capitol Music Group. The deal applies to his latest album entitled Animal Ambition, which is due to be released on June 3.

Logos of 50 Cent’s SMS Audio line will be showcased on Swan Racing’s cars for the Daytona 500, which starts on Sunday. The two drivers for Swan Racing are Parker Kligerman and Cole Whitt, who will also have their uniforms stamped with the SMS logos. Special Swan edition SMS Audio headphones will feature the two drivers in the ad campaign.

Last year at the Daytona 500, while being interviewed by Erin Andrews, 50 Cent tried to kiss her on the lips, but the Fox reporter quickly turned her head away, causing the rapper’s lips to land on her cheek.  Watch the mishap below.

  • 50 Cent Pleads Not Guilty In Domestic Violence Case

50 Cent Pleads Not Guilty In Domestic Violence Case

37-year-old Curtis Jackson, more popularly known as multi-platinum rapper 50 Cent, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence charges in a Los Angeles court Monday.

Jackson allegedly kicked his ex-girlfriend, model-actress Daphne Joy, during an argument and then raged through her condo. Authorities claim that Jackson caused $7,100 in damage to the residence, including breaking furniture and chandeliers, before fleeing the scene.

The city prosecutor’s office released a statement the described the incident: “Allegedly when the female locked herself in her bedroom, Jackson kicked open the bedroom door and kicked her, causing an injury.”

Although the prosecution initially planned to keep Joy’s identity under wraps, her lawyer reveled it to CNN last month.

Jackson and Joy have a child together and dated exclusively for years. While Jackson is instantly recognizable, Joy is a more humble celebrity (if such a things exists) having appeared in several television shows. Her biggest role to date was as a mermaid in “Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” which was released to lukewarm reviews in 2011.

If found guilty of the charges Jackson could receive $46,000 in fines and up to 5 years in prison.

  • 50 Cent Accident: Rapper Released From the Hospital, Doing Fine

After undergoing extensive tests on his spine and neck following a car accident on the Long Island Expressway last night, rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is doing fine and has been released from the hospital.

According to his website, ThisIs50.com, “50 Cent was in a bad accident tonight as his bullet-proof SUV was rear-ended by a Mack truck on the LIE in NYC. He was put on a stretcher and taken to the nearest Queens hospital where they are currently running tests on his neck and back.”

I love how they make sure to mention that the SUV was bulletproof. That did not help this situation. I know 50 is “really hard and everyone wants to kill him”, but come on. This kind of image buffering during a serious accident makes me wonder if it wasn’t all staged to solidify 50 Cent’s image that he cannot be killed. (Before people start leaving nasty comments: No I don’t believe that’s what really happened.)

50 Cent was being chauffeured by his driver, who was also injured in the crash, but both have now been released and are expected to make a rapid recovery. As it turns out, the rapper only had “minor neck and back injuries” according to a representative.

  • 50 Cent Hospitalized With Possible Spinal Injury After Accident

50 Cent is now in the hospital and undergoing extensive tests on his spine and neck after a terrifying car accident on the Long Island Expressway last night.

According to his website, ThisIs50.com, a Mack truck was behind the rapper’s SUV–which was being helmed by his driver, who is also in the hospital with undisclosed injuries–when the semi’s load shifted and the truck driver lost control. He slammed into the back of the SUV and almost flipped it over.

Someone in the rapper’s entourage has posted exclusive photos of him on a stretcher right after the accident and in the hospital on his website; while it appears he doesn’t have any life-threatening injuries, he could have a long and painful road ahead of him if his back and/or neck were damaged.

50 is well-known for his cat-with-9-lives reputation, as he has survived being shot at least nine times, including once in the face. We will be updating this post as more information becomes available.

  • 50 Cent Vs. Oprah: 6 Year Feud Ends

Oprah Winfrey and 50 Cent have notoriously had “beef” in the past, but it now looks like the two have decided to get along. On Sunday, the two met on Oprah’s Next Chapter to hash out their past problems.

On Oprah’s Next Chapter, Oprah confronted 50 Cent about naming his bitch (female dog) Oprah. She said that she would take it as a compliment, but she knows it wasn’t intended that way in the beginning: “That was not a compliment,” she told 50 Cent on OWN. “I heard you had a bitch named Oprah!”

Curtis Jackson acted coyly about the embarrassing situation, “At the time, I was just looking at the situation, and I saw I was developing negative feelings for someone who doesn’t even know me…and I gave it to the dog.” He then explains that he now has the utmost respect for the TV mogul.

In the extended interview, 50 Cent goes on to explain, “I would see moments when you would discuss your feelings on the culture, and everything that was wrong with the culture was what was on my CD, and I was like, ‘Oh, she doesn’t like me. I was saying, ‘If I can’t be your friend, at least let me be your enemy, so I coexist.’”

Oprah also goes into the fact that 50 once said she was making TV for “white women as old as his grandmother”. The rapper went on to explain his words, “I was saying it’s a conservative audience. Their kids are listening to [my music] and they look for something that allows them to be a little rebellious. That’s rap and roll.”

Although they have set most of their beef aside, the two still disagree with the use of the “N-word” in rap culture. Oprah is adamantly against using the word in any context, while 50 Cent contends that the difference lies in the way the term is used, saying “When you’re actually using it with malice in your heart, you can feel the difference.”
