  • Daphne Joy: 50 Cent’s Ex Dating Jason Derulo

Daphne Joy, the model who dated and shares a son with 50 Cent, is now dating singer Jason Derulo. Derulo broke things off with his longtime flame Jordin Sparks about a year ago, exciting young ladies from all over with his single status.

That single status has now been officially changed by one Daphne Joy.

“They really like each other,” a source tells E! News of the couple. “It’s still new but they are exclusive and really like being around each other. Its a very carefree easy going relationship.”

No one has yet reported on 50 Cent’s reaction to Daphne Joy’s new flame. The two have a three-year-old son together, named Sire Jackson.

Jason Derulo shared a photo of himself with Daphne Joy, enjoying some international travel, but has since deleted it from his Instagram account.

Fans unfamiliar with Daphne Joy will enjoy this sneak peek of the model, courtesy of her Instagram account.

“Mixing up the workouts with yoga and body weights lately. Loving my results thanks to my @shredz stack, especially my bcaa for post recovery?? #Shredz #shredzambassador #FitMom #AllPinkEverything ?” she captioned it.

Young ladies are no doubt wondering if Jason Derulo and Daphne Joy are a permanent thing or just a temporary fling. And while everyone can imagine what the young ladies are hoping for, they’d surely love to see the “Talk Dirty” singer to find some happiness, too.

  • Vivica Fox: Did She Question 50 Cent’s Sexuality on “Watch What Happens Live?”

Vivica Fox: Did She Question 50 Cent’s Sexuality on “Watch What Happens Live?”

Vivica A. Fox was chatting about her upcoming guest role on Empire with Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen, when she made an interesting comment. Now some are wondering if she was questioning 50 Cent’s sexuality.

Andy Cohen and Vivica A. Fox were contemplating a post 50 Cent made–that has since been removed–about “gay stuff” on Empire.

That’s when Vivica A. Fox made the comment in question.

“You know, the pot called the kettle black is all I’m saying,” she said.

Andy Cohen quickly asked Fox is she was calling 50 Cent (who is her ex, by the way) gay.

“He’s not. … He just seems like he’s got something that’s not quite clear,” she said, and referencing a magazine cover that featured 50 Cent and Soulja Boy.

Neither 50 Cent nor Soulja Boy appreciated Vivica A. Fox’s comments.

Soulja Boy called her a “Granny desperate for attention.”

50 Cent said “She things (sic) I’m gay because I let her lick my ass.”

It’s worth noting that 50 Cent has an issue with Empire. He believes the show ripped off his Starz show Power.

It’s also worth noting that Vivica A. Fox thrives on drama. Did you see her on the last season of Celebrity Apprentice? Enough said.

Fox has since apologized to Soulja Boy, but not to 50 Cent.

Do you think 50 Cent is gay and Vivica A. Fox has let the cat out of the bag? Or is she simply causing drama for the sake of nothing more than–well, causing drama?

  • Tyga Lawsuits and Taxes Might Mean He Files Bankruptcy Like 50 Cent?

Tyga turned heads when he gave girlfriend Kylie Jenner a $320,000 Ferrari for her birthday a few weeks back. Hopefully he paid cash for it, because if the state of California and a disgruntled landlord have their way, Tyga might have to let that Ferrari get repoed.

Court documents now show that the state of California is going after Tyga for back taxes. According to the filings, Tyga owes more than $19,000 in unpaid taxes for 2009, 2010 and 2011. He is now subject to a tax lien to collect the unpaid amount.

But that is merely the latest of Tyga’s money problems. The entertainer is also locked in a fight with a landlord who Tyga owes him $70,000 in unpaid rent. Tyga says he paid $200,000 down on an $8 million house he had been renting.

Money troubles seem to be going around lately. Rapper 50 Cent made news when he filed bankruptcy a few weeks back. That move was likely more of an indicator that 50 Cent was reorganizing his financial affairs to shield himself against lawsuits, rather than that he was actually broke.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, is in his mess over a lawsuit much the same as Tyga could be. Jackson was accused of invading Lastonia Leviston’s privacy by posting a sex tape of her and her boyfriend, with his own narration edited over top of it. Leviston was a former girlfriend of Rick Ross, 50 Cent’s rap rival. On the tape, 50 Cent can be heard taunting Ross.

A jury initially ordered Jackson to pay Leviston $5 million, but later added another $2 million to that total.

“Our client intends to file post-verdict, pre-judgment motions which we believe should reduce the size of the award,” Jackson’s lawyers said. “Ultimately, the fate of any obligation to pay a final judgment will be determined by the bankruptcy court.”

And there you have it. Bankruptcy may be Jackson’s saving move against losing his fortune.

“I’m taking the precautions that any other good businessperson would take in this situation,” Jackson said about his filing. “You know when you’re successful and stuff, you become a target. I don’t wanna be a bullseye. I don’t want anybody to pick me as the guy that they just come to with astronomical claims and go through all that.”

Might Tyga have to end up reorganizing his finances the same way?

  • 50 Cent Now Ordered To Pay Even More, Despite Filing For Bankruptcy

50 Cent said he had a decent legal team, but he may be wondering that now. After 50 Cent took the shrewd measure of filing bankruptcy in Connecticut to protect himself from being sued into the poor house, a jury just added insult to injury and upped the amount he was ordered to pay his opponent in a lawsuit.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was accused of invading Lastonia Leviston’s privacy by posting a sex tape of her and her boyfriend, with his own narration edited over top of it. Leviston was a former girlfriend of Rick Ross, 50 Cent’s rap rival. On the tape, 50 Cent can be heard taunting Ross.

The jury was not impressed, first ordering 50 Cent to pay Leviston $5 million, now adding another $2 million to that total.

50 Cent’s attorney responded to the bad news, saying, “Although we appreciate the jury’s service, we are disappointed in the result. Our client intends to file post-verdict, pre-judgment motions which we believe should reduce the size of the award. Ultimately, the fate of any obligation to pay a final judgment will be determined by the bankruptcy court.”

When news broke two weeks ago that 50 Cent was filing bankruptcy, fans thought that meant he was broke. Far from it.

“I’m taking the precautions that any other good businessperson would take in this situation,” 50 Cent said about his filing. “You know when you’re successful and stuff, you become a target. I don’t wanna be a bullseye. I don’t want anybody to pick me as the guy that they just come to with astronomical claims and go through all that.”

50 Cent even joked about his bankruptcy himself.

“Walt Disney has filed bankruptcy. Donald Trump has filed bankruptcy,” 50 Cent explained. “It means you’re reorganizing your finances, but it does stop things from moving forward that you don’t want moving forward.”

“I got a decent legal team,” he assured fans. “You don’t have to worry.”

Whether 50 Cent will have to pay anywhere near the sum the jury awarded Leviston remains to be seen.

  • Lastonia Leviston to Get $2 Million More from 50 Cent

Lastonia Leviston will get an additional $2 million more than expected from 50 Cent, as part of money awarded to her from his posting her sex tape online.

On Friday, a Manhattan jury said 50 Cent should pay Lastonia Leviston $2 million in punitive damages on top of the $5 million she was already awarded.

“I’ve been served justice by the courts and vindicated by God,” Leviston said.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, wasn’t in court on Friday.

“I hope he learned a lesson,” Lastonia Leviston said.

Of course one might wonder whether she learned a lesson, too, of course. The scenario sort of begs the question, should she have made a sex tape?

Lastonia Leviston’s lawyer asked for $15 million in punitive damages earlier on Friday. And while she received a far cry less than that, she still seemed satisfied. 50 Cent’s lawyer only wanted to pay out $700,000.

Fitty made several claims of poverty during the trial, but it is clear the jurors didn’t buy them. He even filed for bankruptcy earlier in July.

“He has it. He’s 50 Cent. You know he has more than 50 cents,” juror Sylvia Rodriguez said.

“I don’t think he’s broke,” she added. “If anything he has it hidden.”

Fifty Cent appeared in court on Tuesday, and tried to share his humorous side. The jurors weren’t buying that either.

“I don’t think he was taking it seriously,” Rodriguez said. “He was winking at one of us, and then he just ran out of the courtroom. That wasn’t necessary.”

Lastonia Leviston said she hoped the verdict would teach the rapper that “you can’t be mean and cruel to people.”

James Renard, who is one of Fitty’s attorneys, was disappointed in the verdict.

“Although we appreciate the jury’s service, we are disappointed in the result,” he said. “Our client intends to file post-verdict, pre-judgment motions which we believe should reduce the size of the award.”

Do you think Lastonia Leviston was awarded a reasonable amount of money from a man who posted her sex tape on the internet?

  • 50 Cent Bankruptcy Like Donald Trump’s; He’s Not Broke

Last week, rapper 50 Cent was ordered by a court to pay $5 million to a Florida mom for posting a sex tape of her online. This week, 50 Cent filed bankruptcy.

While there have been lots of speculation about what that means for 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, there is also lots of misinformation being spread.

When you have a nickname like “50 Cent,” people will make lots of jokes if you file bankruptcy. Things get even more confusing when the news reports about your bankruptcy include news that you have anywhere from $10 million to $50 million.

Is 50 Cent broke? Is that what his bankruptcy means?

“I’m taking the precautions that any other good businessperson would take in this situation,” 50 Cent said about his filing. “You know when you’re successful and stuff, you become a target. I don’t wanna be a bullseye. I don’t want anybody to pick me as the guy that they just come to with astronomical claims and go through all that.”

50 Cent has even taken to joking about his bankruptcy himself.

50 Cent’s attorney filled that explanation out a bit more, saying, “This filing for personal bankruptcy protection permits Mr. Jackson to continue his involvement with various business interests and continue his work as an entertainer, while he pursues an orderly reorganization of his financial affairs.”

Donald Trump has faced similar misunderstandings as 50 Cent regarding his own bankruptcy filings in his past, especially now that he is running in the GOP primary for President.

Trump struck out at these misunderstandings, saying, “These are stupid people who say this, ‘Didn’t Trump declare bankruptcy? Didn’t he go bankrupt?’ I didn’t go bankrupt.”

“I’ve cut debt — by the way, this isn’t me personally, it’s a company,” Trump told Forbes. “Basically I’ve used the laws of the country to my advantage and to other people’s advantage just as [business moguls] Leon Black has, Carl Icahn, Henry Kravis has, just as many, many others on top of the business world have.”

“We buy a company, throw it into a chapter, negotiate with the banks, make a fantastic deal. They were never personal [bankruptcies]. This is a business thing. I’ve used the laws of this country to pare debt. This has nothing to do with me personally. The bankruptcy laws can be used to your advantage.”

Using these laws as allowed is what 50 Cent is also doing.

Michael Venditto, who has represented clients in high-profile Chapter 11 cases, said, “To the ordinary person in the street, [four corporate bankruptcies] may seem surprising, but certainly not to me. Chapter 11 is how you reshape and restructure a company that has problems. It doesn’t indicate anything nefarious or even bad management.”

  • Vivica A. Fox Talks 50 Cent, Calls Him the Love of Her Life

Vivica A. Fox–on the heels of getting fired by Donald Trump on Celebrity Apprentice–sat down with Meredith Vieira on The Meredith Vieira Show, in an episode that will air on Monday, and talked about a very special man from her past.

Fox, of course, dated 50 Cent way back when, and they famously broke up in 2003. She admitted to Vieira, however, that he still holds a very special place in her heart.

“He is absolutely the love of my life,” she admitted, but added that dating him was ‘difficult.’

“I really, really cared for him and I loved him very, very much and I always will, but he just wasn’t right for me,” she said. “That’s hard when you really, really love a person in your heart, you want to be with them, but you finally have to say, ‘He’s just not right for me.’”

Vivica A. Fox and 50 Cent dated for about a year, and when they split each talked negatively in the media about the other. These days, however, she wishes nothing but good things for the ‘My Life’ rapper.

“I wish him the best, he is amazing and baby, he’s fine, but… sometimes love ain’t always right,” Vivica A. Fox explained to Meredith Vieira. “The heart wants what it wants, but sometimes it’s just not right.”

Fox learned something very important during her relationship with 50 Cent, however.

“[I learned] to trust in my heart and know to take the time not to settle,” she spilled. “I think as women sometimes we’re afraid to be alone or we think, ‘Oh my god, he’s a great catch.’”

Vivica A. Fox makes an excellent point in this statement–something all women, whether young or old–should take note of. Not settling is among the greatest gifts a woman can give to herself. Settling inevitably leads to destruction–of one or both people in a relationship.

Kudos to Vivica A. Fox for sharing her wise words, that likely weren’t easy to come by. She learned from experience, and that can hurt. But when the lesson is a good one, it always makes one stronger in the end.

Will you tune in to The Meredith Vieira Show on Monday to see her entire interview with Vivica A. Fox? What else might she share about her time with 50 Cent?

  • Vivica A. Fox Admits That 50 Cent Is ‘Absolutely the Love of My Life’

Vivica A. Fox says that ex-boyfriend, 50 Cent, is “absolutely the love of her life.”

The rapper and Vivica A. Fox’s relationship was tumultuous at best while they were dating, and some may be surprised to hear that the considers him the love of her life.

However, on an appearance on The Meredith Vieira Show, Vivica A. Fox told the talk show host that her relationship with 50 Cent is, thus far, the most important of her life.

“He is absolutely the love of my life,” said Vivica A. Fox, 50, although she admitted that dating 50 Cent, 39, was “difficult.”

“I really, really cared for him and I loved him very, very much and I always will, but he just wasn’t right for me,” Fox told Meredith Vieira in an episode that will air on Monday. “That’s hard when you really, really love a person in your heart, you want to be with them, but you finally have to say, ‘He’s just not right for me.’”

The former couple dated for about a year and their break up in 2003 proved to be very ugly as both stars said some very ugly things publicly about each other.

With time, Vivica A. Fox says she came to have no ill-will towards 50 Cent. She told Vieira that she was crazy in love with him at the time, but conceded that it just couldn’t work between them.

“I wish him the best, he is amazing and baby, he’s fine, but… sometimes love ain’t always right,” she said “The heart wants what it wants, but sometimes it’s just not right.”

Vivica A. Fox told the Meredith Vieira that she gained much wisdom from the experience of loving and leaving 50 Cent.

“[I learned] to trust in my heart and know to take the time not to settle,” said Fox. “I think as women sometimes we’re afraid to be alone or we think, ‘Oh my god, he’s a great catch.’”

  • 50 Cent’s Son Posts Picture With Mayweather, Apparently To Annoy His Father

Marquise Jackson, son of rapper 50 Cent, recently posted a picture of himself with boxing champion Floyd Mayweather on Facebook. The teen and 50 Cent are supposedly not on the best of terms, so a picture with someone his dad has had a social media feud with probably isn’t a peace offering in any way.

Over the summer, 50 Cent and Mayweather have been taunting each other back and forth on their social media accounts. Jackson’s motives for posting a photo that shows him hanging out with the boxer aren’t clear. However, in light of Jackson posting photos of himself with Slowbucks, the photo with Mayweather seems part of a plan of rebellion against 50 Cent. Jackson’s father has also been in a public feud with Slowbucks, and the teen had also previously posted several pictures together with the street brand entrepreneur.

50 Cent and his son are apparently not on good terms, which the rapper has reportedly blamed on Jackson’s mother. 50 Cent was criticized earlier this year for not making it to Jackson’s high-school graduation, which reportedly upset his son. “My son—I haven’t received an invitation. When he graduated I was in Budapest on a movie with Melissa McCarthy, Jude Law, and Jason Statham. I think at some points the reason why it actually comes out is because his mom is going to TMZ. I wish she’d find someone so she could leave me alone,” the rapper said. Despite seeming unaware about his son’s education, 50 Cent is excited about his show Dream School: NYC, which takes 15 underprivileged students in New York City and gives them celebrity teachers who try to help them graduate. “These kids are smart; they're just taking on bad habits. This is probably the last opportunity for them. When I met them, they all seemed to understand how lucky they were to be in the program and have this opportunity,” he said in an interview with Rolling Stone.

  • Chelsea Handler Gives An Emotional Goodbye

Chelsea Handler Gives An Emotional Goodbye

Chelsea Handler, the American comedian known for her crazy antics and sarcasm, gave an emotional goodbye on the finale of her late-night show Chelsea Lately.

Before addressing the camera, Handler and Ellen DeGeneres performed a hysterical shower scene and Miley Cyrus and 50 Cent performed.

Then, Handler’s BFFs Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock, and Mary McCormack, who appeared on Handler’s very first show, staged a fake intervention, with Mary using Netflix as a euphemism for rehab. “Netflix is a wonderful facility that will give you all the help you need,” Mary said.

    Watch the clips below:

Chelsea, who is not known for being the serious type, then took the time to address the crowd and the millions of people who have made her show a success. “First of all, I want to say thank you to every single person who showed up for me tonight,” she said. Many other celebrities stopped by to see their friend off including Gwen Stefani, Selena Gomez, Tim Gunn, and Trace Adkins.

She then thanked “everybody who works on the show, the crew and the sound people who have to deal with my bad moods and my good moods and the bad people I dated and the good people I dated.”

“I never really got a good chance to be serious and say ‘thank you’ and I want you to know that I am grateful for this career, thank you very much,” Chelsea continued. “Thank you to my family and mom. I hope you’re watching me! I’ll see you on Netflix!”

  • Chelsea Handler Poses in Nothing But a Thong on Instagram to Promote Finale

Only Chelsea Handler could get away with something like this and continue to retain her OMG-she’s-so-cool factor.

The 39-year-old television host posted a surprising shot Thursday on Instagram, wearing nothing more than a thong to promote the finale of her E! series, Chelsea Lately. The photo shows the looking-good-at-almost-40 Handler in a locker room sitting on a folded towel on a wooden bench, glancing provocatively over her shoulder, wearing only a tan-colored pair of underwear.

The best part about the post is the caption: I’m a Kardashian.

The funny lady shared another sexy-sexy shot on Wednesday. This time Handler is shown standing on a towel, wearing a va-va-voom black lace bra and panties set, surrounded by self-tanning products.

For this one, she captioned: “Getting ready for my final shower scene. August 26th is the one hour finale. Orange you glad I told you?” Get it? Self-tanning products? Orange? OK, you get it.

The last episode of the long-running talk show will air live on Aug. 26. Handler’s guest appearances will include none other than her ex-boyfriend, 50 Cent. Other expected guests include Handler’s BFF’s Jennifer Aniston and Sandra Bullock.

Handler will launch her much anticipated Netflix talk show in 2016.

Handler has said she chose to work with Netflix because she wanted to take on something completely different if she was going to stay in the industry.

“If I was going to continue working in this industry, I knew I had to do something outside the box to keep myself interested,” Handler said. “I’m more excited than I’ve been in awhile, and the team at Netflix is the most forward thinking, alert group I’ve sat down with in ages.”

  • 50 Cent’s Music May Help You Get A Job?

50 Cent’s Music May Help You Get A Job?

Before heading out to an important job interview, listening to 50 Cent’s “In Da Club” could give people a competitive advantage over other applicants: you’ll get confidence. In a study published by The Society for Personality and Social Psychology, researchers found that bass-heavy music such as “In Da Club” made people feel more confident before going into job interviews.

Researchers Dennis Y. Hsu, Li Huang, Loran F. Nordgren, Derek D. Rucker and Adam D. Galinsky tested “high-power” or bass-heavy songs as well as “low-power” songs on subjects. Among the “high-power” tracks, they tested were “In Da Club,” Queen’s “We Will Rock You,” and 2 Unlimited’s “Get Ready For This”. Meanwhile, they chose Notorious B.I.G.’s “Big Poppa,” Fatboy Slim’s “Because We Can,” and Baha Men’s “Who Let The Dogs Out?” as “low-power” tracks. Researchers found that “high-power” songs could inspire people to make good impressions at job interviews, while listening to “low-power” songs made test subjects feel meeker and score lower on a test that required the use of abstract thinking.

“Just as professional athletes might put on empowering music before they take the field to get them in a powerful state of mind, you might try this in certain situations where you want to be empowered,” said Rucker, one of the researchers and a professor of marketing at the Kellogg School of Management.

Researchers selected these songs by first playing them to subjects and asking them to rate the tracks according to their feeling of empowerment. They found the “low-power” songs by playing tracks with similar style as the first set (sports music and hip-hop) and choosing the lowest-rated for empowerment. These songs were then played to an entirely new set of test subjects. The study can be used to determine how music can affect the workplace, advertising or other situations that can benefit from the feeling of empowerment.

  • 50 Cent Beatdown Recounted By Ja Rule On ‘Ebro In The Morning’

Ja Rule and 50 Cent have long been rivals. The two rappers, both from Queens, have a history of violent exchanges.

In his new book entitled Unruly: The Highs and Lows of Being a Man, Ja Rule detailed the first physical fight he had with 50 Cent.

“50 tried to swing on me, but I dipped, then I hit him with the baby Louisville Slugger.” Their first altercation happened in Atlanta where Ja Rule came armed with a baseball bat. “Bam! I dropped the bat. I pulled the shirt over his head. I started catching him left, right, uppercut,” he said.

Ja Rule also appeared on Hot 97’s “Ebro in the Morning” on Monday to discuss further what had happened during his fight with 50 Cent.

Apparently, the feud didn’t end with the uppercut. Ja Rule said that after the fight, he heard that 50 Cent was spreading news that he knocked Ja Rule out and took his chain, but that’s not the way it went, according to Ja Rule.

Ja Rule talks about altercation with 50 Cent on Hot 97’s ‘Ebro in the Morning’ (explicit dialogue)

Aside from the incident in Atlanta, Ja Rule also recalls another incident with 50 Cent at the Hit Factory in New York where he hit 50 Cent with a crutch. “I hit him with the crutch. We proceeded to whip his ass. I was putting in my work. 50 was crunched in the corner. I slammed the big Tannoy speaker down on him,” Ja Rule said.

There was also a time when 50 Cent filed a restraining order against Ja Rule. “I had actual, factual documents of them having the restraining order against us. And people said, Ah, man, he doctored that,” Ja Rule said.

Last year, the two rappers ended up on the same flight. Fortunately, nothing happened.

Ja Rule is making a comeback and announced that he will be releasing a new album called Genius Loves Company.

  • 50 Cent Did Not ‘Plead The Fifth,’ Calls Jay Z The ‘Most Overrated Rapper’

Rapper 50 Cent made a guest appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live hosted by Andy Cohen. In one of the segments, the rapper was asked to play “Plead the Fifth,” where he was asked three questions, but could only plead the fifth to one.

Cohen’s first question was “What is it like to be yelled at in the face by Beyonce?” 50 Cent said that it’s not really bad and Beyonce’s breath doesn’t smell. However, he said that he just has to keep his cool, hinting at the way Jay Z behaved when he was attacked by Beyonce’s sister Solange in an elevator last month.

According to 50 Cent, about a month ago he was confronted by Beyonce after she saw him talking to Jay Z, as Beyonce thought that 50 Cent was having a negative interaction with her husband.

For the next question, Cohen asked what sex was like with Kim Kardashian. 50 Cent said that he never slept with her and the dating rumors about them came when he posted a picture of himself with Kardashian at the MTV Awards in Australia.

For the last question, Cohen asked “Who is the most overrated hip-hop star of all time?” 50 Cent answered Jay Z and justified his reply by quoting a line from Jay Z’s song “So Appalled” and said, “He would say he was overrated, Rather be overrated than underpaid.”

50 Cent and Jay Z’s friendly rivalry dates back 15 years. In his 1999 single “How To Rob”, 50 Cent mentions Jay Z and other rappers’ by name, explaining how he would go about robbing each of them. Jay Z answered back with a line from “I’m Hot” by rapping “I’m about a dollar, what the f**k is 50 Cents?”

In an interview with MTV UK in 2011, 50 Cent said that he is not necessarily friends with Jay Z and they “Use each other. Repeatedly. For energy.”

  • 50 Cent First Pitch FAIL: See The Pics and Video

50 Cent threw what may be the worst first pitch in history of baseball’s first pitches.

You really have to feel for the guy after seeing that pitch before a game between the New York Mets and the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday at City Field. Even Tara the Cat’s first throw may have been better considering the challenge the feline faced lacking a much-needed thumb.

One can only imagine the embarrassment for the rapper. It must be every non-baseball player’s worst nightmare as they step up to the rubber to throw that pitch.

50 Cent took his turn at the rubber, some 60 feet from home plate. Wearing a Mets jersey with No. 50 and the name Jackson on the back, 50 Cent — whose real name is Curtis Jackson III — wound up and launched a left-handed toss that sailed way wide of Mets catcher Anthony Recker — like way, WAY to the left.

He had a response to the pitch he posted on Instagram along with the caption, “I’m a hustler not a Damn ball player. LMAO #smsaudio #animalambition.”

Needless to say, Twitter had its say on the pitch.

It was great to see that 50 Cent could poke fun at himself.

Here’s Tara the Cat‘s first throw, so you all can decide who truly did throw the better first pitch.

  • 50 Cent’s Baby Mama Did Not Invite Him To His Son’s High School Graduation

50 Cent’s Baby Mama Did Not Invite Him To His Son’s High School Graduation

There have been rumors floating around that rapper 50 Cent abandoned his son during his high school graduation. In a statement released by his PR people, however, 50 Cent said that the mother of his son did not let him know when the graduation would take place.

Sources close to the rapper told TMZ that 50 Cent was disappointed and hurt when he saw pictures of his son, Marquise Jackson, on Facebook wearing his graduation robes and hugging his mother.

His son also wrote “Yea I broke down. I was really excited to see my pops at my graduation but he never showed up. smh. My sister and mama is always there for me just know that you wasn’t. I did it without you.”

Marquise graduated from a private school located in Atlanta. Reports say that at the time of his son’s graduation, 50 Cent was in Budapest.

The rapper recently appeared on BET’s 106 & Park to promote his fifth album entitled “Animal Ambition.” During his appearance, he took time to answer questions about missing his son’s graduation. “I haven’t received an invitation. When he graduated I was in Budapest on a movie with Melissa McCarthy, Jude Law, and Jason Statham.”

    50 Cent talks about missing son’s graduation on BET’s 106 & Park

He continued to say that the reason why his personal life is out in the open is because Marquise’s mother went to TMZ. “I wish she’d find someone so she could leave me alone,” he said.

50 Cent, born Curtis James Jackson III, is a father of two. He has a younger son from a different relationship. The 38-year-old rapper blames the mother of Marquis, Shaniqua Tompkins, for his strained relationship with his eldest son.

In an interview with MTV last year, the rapper said that his son has a fear for him. “Cause it’s like, his mother will traditionally say, ‘You wait ‘til your father finds out’,” he said. He also talked about being a strict father, as he always reminds Marquise to take care of his mother and not give her headaches.

  • 50 Cent Talks Departure From Interscope, and New G-Unit Venture

50 Cent’s been a busy man these days. On Feb. 20, the Get Rich or Die Trying rapper announced his decision to part ways with his long-time record label Shady/Aftermath/Interscope.

According to Hollywood Reporter, 50 Cent opened up about his departure from the label before taking the stage at SWSX. “It’s liberating,” the rapper-entrepreneur told the publication.

The “Hustler” rapper’s notable imprint G-Unit Records now has a new worldwide distribution deal with Capitol Music Group. The new deal is a part of Capitol’s independent services division, Caroline. He went on to explain the distinct contrast between working for major, multinational music corporation and owning an independent record label.

“It’s great. I choose everything: what to release [and] when to release it,” he continued. “The fun part is that there doesn’t have to be a schedule. There’s no timeline. If I write a record and I want to put it out, I’ll put it out.”

He went on to give an example of a personal account where he didn’t have much executive power in regards to the direction of his album’s production, marketing and distribution.

“I’ll give you an example of how the process was at Interscope,” he said. “[With] my very first album [Get Rich or Die Tryin’)] we had to choose between two records for the single: ‘If I Can’t’ and ‘In Da Club.’ It wasn’t that big of a deal which one was the single because they’re both produced by Dr. Dre. I was sitting on the couch, having already talked about it privately [with Eminem] that ‘In Da Club’ was the record. Em goes, ‘’In Da Club,’ definitely.’ And then the entire room agreed. The other record never turned into a single. ‘If I Can’t’ performed like a single at radio, but there was never a video for it..”

So he’s definitely looking forward to making moves on his own. His first priority is his upcoming album, Animal Ambition. “This album is about the positive and negative effects of prosperity. If I’m doing too good, it brings envy and jealousy which creates negative energy.”

Animal Ambition is set to be released June 3, 2014. 50 Cent also has another album entitled Street King Immortal, which is tentatively scheduled to be released later this year. Both albums will be the first releases under his new G-Unit imprint.

  • 50 Cent Promotes New Album, Discusses G-Unit On HOT97

50 Cent has become one of the most influential names in hip-hop since he rose to stardom with 2003’s Get Rich or Die Tryin. He has also gained widespread notoriety as the leader of the East Coast hip-hop group G-Unit. With a name as big as his, people are understandably interested in what he’s working on next.

Vibe reports that 50 Cent stopped by HOT97’s Morning Show on Tuesday to talk about the new album and his influence on East Coast hip-hop. He also talked about the inner workings of G-Unit and his opinion of other hip-hop artists, like Diddy.

One of the more interesting tidbits to come out of the interview was when 50 Cent was asked about his son and why he kept it a secret. The hip-hop star says that he kept the child a secret because he didn’t want the narrative to take off without him. He notes that he doesn’t have a relationship with the mother of his child. That alone could make things awkward if the story of his child became a big ticket news item.

50 Cent also addressed some members leaving G-Unit. While he has no plans to add talent to the collective right now, he does say that he’s always open to finding new talent for G-Unit. He does provide the caveat of not allowing new members to be on stage with him though. He says that it’s not so much about sharing the stage, however, as it is about letting new talent find their own voice.

The full hour-long interview can be seen below in two parts:

50 Cent’s new album, Animal Ambition, will be out June 3. He’s been slowly releasing songs from the album as we approach the release date with the latest drop coming yesterday in the form of Hustler. Check out the video below:

  • 50 Cent Debuts New Video For ‘Hustler’

Rapper 50 Cent has been hustling throughout his life, and he raps about just that with the debut of his new music video for his song entitled “Hustler”.

The 38-year-old rapper from Southside Jamaica, Queens, debuted his song Monday on New York’s Hot 97 radio station. In the three minute-long song, “Fiddy” says “I hustle hard/ When I come through they’re like ‘oh my God.”

“I blow a whole lot of paper on clothes/ Can you dig it? I’m a hustler, baby,” he continues.

Hours after the song’s debut, the official video for the track was released. The black and white video features a dapper 50 Cent sporting a fedora and a sleek trench coat while smoking a cigar. To add to that, he is surrounded by silhouettes of women throughout most of the video – think film noir James Bond. The video highlights 50 Cent’s style and fashion sense, which has come a long way since he first stepped onto the music scene in 2003, wearing baseball caps and sports jerseys.

Eif Rivera, who has also directed music videos for other artists, such as Diddy, and Nicki Minaj, directed the music video.

“Hustler” is the sixth track released for 50 Cent’s weekly series. He has been releasing songs from the new album week after week. Just last week, he debuted the track entitled “Smoke” featuring Trey Songz. “Hustler” is included on his fifth solo album entitled Animal Ambition, which is slated for release on June 3. Other artists featured in the album are Jadakiss, and Yo Gotti.

With weekly releases of songs from his new album, fans are speculating whether all the songs will be released before the album drops in June. We’ll just have to wait to see what happens next week.

  • 50 Cent Ordered to Pay Sleek Audio $16.1M in Headphone Case

50 Cent’s pockets just took a major hit.

According to the Bradenton Herald, federal court documents state that the rapper, actor and entrepreneur has been ordered to pay a whopping $16.1 million to the Bradenton, FL earphone manufacturer, Sleek Audio. The judgment is reportedly associated with an aborted partnership put in place to mass produce the rapper’s line of headphones.

Records indicate that 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson III, reportedly stole the conceptual designs for the over-the-ear headphones. More specifically, the G-Unit rapper is accused of “misappropriating trade secrets, breaching his fiduciary duty owed to Sleek, participating in a civil conspiracy, breaching his confidentiality agreement with Sleek, and being unjustly enriched.”

The reports specified that the “Ayo Technology” rapper retrieved private, confidential information from the company’s website. Some of the information even included personal email addresses for more than 4,000 potential customers. A correspondence in reference to the missing data was also used as a means of suggesting the action to be intentional.

The correspondence was documentation of an excuse given to the company by 50 Cent’s assistant, denying any knowledge of the missing data. “[Sleek] is onto us, LOL. They emailed and called … about the data. Tell him something like, sorry, you just have to finish editing a video for 50 or something, we’ll get to it, LOL,” the assistant reportedly said.

Then, to make matters worse, 50 Cent’s latest line of headphones even bare a striking resemblance to the conceptual designs in question. However, the 50-Over line is currently being distributed through another manufacturer.

The publication also reported a detailed breakdown of the Before I Self Destruct rapper’s incurred cost. The charges include $11,693,247 in damages and an additional $4,488,331, which totaled an estimated $16.1 million.

The U.S. District Court in Miami confirmed the award amount at the end of March, bringing the three-year legal battle to an end. Although 50 Cent filed a counter suit against Sleek in May of 2013, an arbitrator denied his claim, ultimately ruling in favor of the company.
