  • Jessa Duggar Enjoys Baby Shower Fun as TLC Cameras Roll, Shares 3-D Ultrasound Pick of Baby “Quincy”

Jessa Duggar Seewald was lauded at a co-ed fall-themed baby shower in recent days, surrounded by many of the 19 Kids and Counting family members and lots of dear friends. Also on the invite list was TLC. They had their cameras rolling for an upcoming episode of the three-episode special that fans (and like the Duggar family, too) hope will become the 19 Kids and Counting spinoff. Jill & Jessa: Counting On will air in December.

Due on November 1st, if Jessa Duggar’s baby arrives on her due date, she and hubby Ben Seewald will have a double celebration. November 1st is their first wedding anniversary.

Recent photos indicate Jessa will soon give birth.

“She’s looking the part,” a source tells People magazine of Jessa Duggar Seewald. “She’s adorable. She didn’t gain any weight in her face at all. She’s absolutely flawless!”

Like sister Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar has shared pregnancy progression photos every few weeks to keep friend and fans apprised of the big countdown.

Jessa Duggar’s most recent post is a 3-D ultrasound of the baby they refer to as “Quincy.” In the post, she compares the baby’s features with her baby picture and one of Ben’s, too.

“Sitting here dreaming about the moment when we will meet our little one face-to-face… and wondering if our baby will carry more Seewald or Duggar characteristics and features! I’m thinking #BabySeewald will be a sweet mix of the two of us! ❤️ What do you think? Just 10 more days till baby’s due date!” Jessa captioned the post.

Jessa Duggar no doubt received many wonderful gifts for her baby at her shower. Since it was co-ed, dad Jim Bob Duggar, brother-in-law Derick Dillard, and of course hubby Ben Seewald were all on hand to join in the fun. Noticeably absent, however, were Josh and Anna Duggar. Josh is in a rehab facility in Illinois, receiving faith-based counseling for his “sexual sins.” Jessa Duggar was one of the siblings Josh Duggar sexually molested when he was a teen. Jessa has also been the most vocal about Josh’s actions. The pain Jessa and Jill Duggar experienced at the hands of Josh through that sex scandal and a more recent one, when he was discovered to have two Ashley Madison accounts on the cheater’s website, and admitted to cheating on Anna Duggar, comes to light in a clip of the upcoming TLC show.

Even though Jessa Duggar will have given birth by then, fans are no doubt looking forward to seeing her feted at her baby shower, surrounded by members of the 19 Kids and Counting family.

The countdown is certainly on for Jessa Duggar Seewald. She has just over a week to go before her due date. Do you think Jill Duggar–who is a midwife–will be on hand for Jessa’s labor and delivery?

Do you predict a baby boy or a girl for Jessa and Ben?

  • Duggar Family Presents United Front Amidst Josh and Anna Duggar Turmoil

The Duggar family of 19 Kids and Counting fame is presenting a united front despite the Josh and Anna Duggar turmoil that is surely raking its crooked fingers down the spines of all its members.

Josh Duggar is in a rehab facility in Illinois. Called Reformers Unanimous, he is seeking therapy for his “sexual sins,” which include an addiction to pornography and cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar.

Meanwhile all appears happy and healthy in the Duggar family–but most understand by now that many appearances on behalf of the Duggar family are just that–appearances.

Josh and Anna Duggar’s son Michael seems to be spending some time with grandparents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar while Anna remains in Florida with her parents. Josh and Anna Duggar reportedly sold their home in Arkansas after he was outed in the recent Ashley Madison cheater’s website hack. Josh Duggar had two accounts on the site.

In a photo Jessa Duggar Seewald posted recently, Josh and Anna Duggar’s son is seen holding Israel Dillard, the son of Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband, Derick.

“When the baby you’re trying to hold is about as big as you are! ?❤️ Sweet little cousins! #MichaelJames #BabyIzzy #IsraelDavidDillard,” Jessa captioned the snapshots.

Despite the turmoil the Duggar family is seemingly trying hard to hide, there will be light following the darkness. Jessa Duggar Seewald and hubby Ben are expecting their first child on November 1st–which is also the couple’s first wedding anniversary. Their lives mirror the kind the Duggar family finds acceptable–unlike that of Josh and Anna Duggar’s, since Anna is reportedly considering divorce–a word not even considered in the former 19 Kids and Counting household.

Jessa Duggar Seewald and her husband might be the redemption of the Duggar family yet. TLC is reportedly planning to air two or three specials that feature them and Jill Duggar Dillard and her family. The Duggar family is no doubt holding out hope for a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff.

Likely holding their breath with regard to Josh Duggar and his recent sex scandals, the Duggar family is likely praying that no more skeletons escape their son’s closet before their daughters sign on the dotted line with TLC.

  • Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald Subjects of TLC Specials, ’19 Kids’ Spinoff?

Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald will star in “two or more specials” that certainly sound like a precursor to a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff.

The Associated Press broke the news about the specials–set to air “later in the year,” on Thursday.

“A production source who spoke on the condition of anonymity said the programs will not include 27-year-old Josh Duggar, the oldest of the Duggar siblings and the subject of revelations last May that, as a teenager, had fondled four of his sisters, including Jill and Jessa. More recently he publicly apologized for a pornography addiction and cheating on his wife. The source said he will not appear on any future TLC programming,” the report reads.

“What we will be following in these specials is Jessa preparing for her first child,” TLC Executive Vice President and General Manager Nancy Daniels said. “And we’ll be watching Jill preparing to make a major move to Central America with her family, which we know is something our audience will be interested in.”

Jill Dillard and her husband Derick have a baby boy named Israel. The family has spent the past couple of months going back and forth between El Salvador and Arkansas, but are preparing for a more permanent move. Jill and Derick serve as Christian missionaries in Central America, and have been attended language classes there, and getting to know people in the village where they will serve.

Derick and Jill Dillard have come under fire recently for soliciting donations for their mission work. Many have asked why they are asking for donations when they can afford to fly back to the U.S. to attend weddings.

Jessa Seewald and her husband Ben are expecting a baby on November 1, which is also the couple’s first wedding anniversary.

Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald appeared in a TLC special abuse sexual abuse and its victims in August. Called Breaking the Silence, mom Michelle Duggar appeared on the show alongside them.

Are you a 19 Kids and Counting fan? Are you happy to learn there will be a spinoff of sorts starring Jill and Jessa on TLC?

Do you expect if these specials earn good ratings that a spinoff will be the next TLC move?

  • Jessa Seewald, Jill Duggar Headed Back to TLC in ’19 Kids and Counting’ Spinoff

Jessa Seewald and Jill Duggar are headed back to TLC where they’ll soon star in at least a few episodes of a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff.

According to a report from The Associated Press, the show will concentrate on Jessa Seewald as she and hubby Ben Seewald prepare to welcome their first child, and on Jill Dillard as she and her husband Derick Dillard and son Israel plan to move to El Salvador to work as Christian missionaries.

“What we will be following in these specials is Jessa preparing for her first child,” TLC Executive Vice President and General Manager Nancy Daniels said. “And we’ll be watching Jill preparing to make a major move to Central America with her family, which we know is something our audience will be interested in.”

TLC cancelled 19 Kids and Counting following Josh Duggar’s first sex scandal, when word of his having sexually molested four of his sisters and one non-relative underage girl when he was a teen made news. Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard both admit to having been victimized by their brother.

Both Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard recently appeared on a TLC special called Breaking the Silence. The show was about sexual abuse and its survivors. 19 Kids and Counting matriarch Michelle Duggar was on the show, too.

Before word of the 19 Kids and Counting cancellation, there were rumors about a TLC spinoff featuring Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard. The show’s fans are no doubt thrilled to see that TLC is at least airing a few episodes of the rumored spinoff.

Do you think this new show starring Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard will be as popular as 19 Kids and Counting?

  • ’19 Kids and Counting:’ TLC to Air Spinoff Specials Starring Jessa Duggar Seewald, Jill Duggar Dillard

19 Kids and Counting is coming back–well, at least a couple of the family members are set to return to TV. A production source announced that they will air specials later in 2015 that focus on Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard instead of the entire Duggar clan. Fans have been hoping against all hope for a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff. Now it sounds like their dreams may come true.

It was just a few months ago that the eldest of the 19 Kids and Counting children–Josh Duggar–admitted to having sexually molested five underage girls, four of whom are his sisters. TLC cancelled 19 Kids and Counting as a result of not just Josh’s actions, but the way parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar handled them. Many people believe the Duggar parents simply swept what Josh did under the rug.

Since the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting, another Josh Duggar sex scandal has hit the media. This time the married father of four has admitted to not only having two Ashley Madison accounts, but to having an addiction to pornography and to cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar.

The Duggars sell, however, so TLC has no doubt decided that in order to make money from the 19 Kids and Counting gang, they must make sure Josh Duggar is nowhere in the picture–hence the likely reason they are choosing to concentrate on sisters Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard.

TLC made an announcement via its Facebook page on Thursday.

New specials focusing on Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald to air on TLC later this year. More in the link below.

Posted by 19 Kids and Counting on Thursday, September 24, 2015

The shows–three are in production–will feature Jill Duggar Dillard and husband Derick Dillard, as well as their son Israel. The Dillard family is planning a move to El Salvador, where they presently serve as Christian missionaries. They will also feature Jessa Duggar Seewald and her husband Ben Seewald. They are expecting their first child on their first wedding anniversary, which is November 1st.

“What we will be following in these specials is Jessa preparing for her first child,” TLC Executive Vice President and General Manager Nancy Daniels said during an interview with The Associated Press, “and we’ll be watching Jill preparing to make a major move to Central America with her family, which we know is something our audience will be interested in.”

19 Kids and Counting fans will no doubt be thrilled to learn this news. Even if it isn’t the entire Duggar gang, at least some of the family is headed back to TLC.

If the shows featuring Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard get ample viewership, perhaps part of the 19 Kids and Counting family will stay on TV.

  • Duggar Family Members Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald to Appear in TLC Child Sexual Abuse Documentary

Duggar family members Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald will reportedly be featured in an upcoming documentary on child sexual abuse produced by TLC in the wake of their cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting.

The Duggar family reality show has been off the air since May, when oldest son Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal broke in the media. Josh sexually molested five underage girls–four of whom are his sisters–when he was a teenager. The fifth girl was a family babysitter at the time of the sexual molestations.

“We spent the past month and a half in thoughtful consideration about the best way forward here,” Marjorie Kaplan, who is the group president of TLC, Animal Planet and Velocity networks, said in a statement.

When announcing the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting this past week, TLC also announced they will be airing a documentary in August that will featuring two members of the Duggar family, who also happen to be two of Josh Duggar’s victims. Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald will be included in the documentary, as will the sexual abuse advocacy groups RAINN and Darkness to Light.

TLC had hoped to use members of the Duggar family in a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff, but determined that the family’s name has been so irrevocably tarnished by the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal that they simply couldn’t consider airing such a show.

Might the upcoming TLC documentary on child sexual abuse be the last time any members of the Duggar family appear on TV? Will Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald draw in enough viewers that TLC might reconsider creating some sort of a show featuring one or more of the Duggar family members?

  • Duggar Family Says Goodbye to Derick and Jill Dillard

The Duggar family said goodbye to Derick and Jill Dillard on Sunday, as the couple–along with their baby boy Israel–departed, heading overseas to do missions work for an undisclosed amount of time.

It wasn’t that long ago that Derick Dillard wrote on his and Jill Duggar Dillard’s blog about an opportunity for overseas missions that arose for the family.

“God has put a desire in our hearts to serve Him internationally for longer than the typical short-term mission trip, but we didn’t know yet how God would fulfill that desire in us. We were prepared for the possibility of it being years before our family would be able to make a move of that magnitude. It’s something we’ve prayed about together in an effort to seek God’s plan for our lives in His service. Earlier this year God brought about an opportunity much earlier than either of us was expecting. Several months ago a new opportunity arose for us to serve God on the mission field. Before us we had a choice to make that would undoubtedly change the trajectory of our lives forever,” he wrote.

This opportunity comes at a time when leaving Arkansas is likely a good thing for Jill Duggar. She was admittedly one of brother Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation victims, and while the entire Duggar family went through a lot when the events were rehashed in the media, Jill seemed to take it even harder than the rest of the victims.

On the 4th of July, the Duggar family enjoyed some time together, knowing that the very next day they’d be saying goodbye to Derick and Jill.

Jill Dillard captioned this Instagram post, “Happy Independence Day! We are celebrating with family today. #4thofJuly #fireworks.”

A photo posted by Jill Dillard (@jillmdillard) on

Sister Jessa Duggar Seewald shared a bittersweet shot that no doubt makes all members of the Duggar family wonder when they’ll see the Dillard family again.

The photo shows Derick and Jill Dillard, along with baby Israel, as they are about to board the first leg of their flight overseas.

“So excited for @jillmdillard & @derickdillard! They’ve been praying about and working towards this transition since late last year, and are so excited to finally be heading to the mission field! Please continue to pray for them! And be sure to check out their blog at www.dillardfamily.com “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15,” Jessa Duggar captioned the post.

Who knows how long it might be before the Duggar family is reunited once again? It is likely that Derick and Jill Dillard will spend at least a year overseas. While no one has said where they are headed, many speculate they may be serving as missionaries in Nepal.

Will 19 Kids and Counting be the same without Jill and Derick–if in fact TLC puts the show back on the air? This has likely put a hold on any plans the network may have had to create a spinoff starring Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, and their husbands.

  • ’19 Kids and Counting’ Parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar to Address Josh Duggar Sexual Molestations as Advertisers Pull Out

19 Kids and Counting hangs precariously in the TLC balance as patriarch and matriarch Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar hope to do some damage control in an interview on with Fox’s Megyn Kelly this coming week.

The eldest of the 19 Kids and Counting children–Josh Duggar–admitted to sexually molesting five underage females when he was a teenager–after his long-kept cover was recently blown. Four of his victims are his sisters–purportedly Jana Duggar, Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, and Jinger Duggar.

TLC has stopped airing episodes of 19 Kids and Counting, but has yet to make a decision to actually cancel the show. A spinoff is supposedly in the works that would star Jill Duggar, Jessa Duggar, and husbands Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald, respectively. 2 Brides and Their Grooms would omit Josh Duggar from the picture completely and limit exposure of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, who are under fire for the way they handled the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal.

Some of the advertisers that have already abandoned 19 Kids and Counting include Choice Hotels International, Payless Shoe Source, David’s Bridal, Ace Hardware, Allstate Insurance, Crayola, Kohl’s, Jimmy Dean, Keurig, Party City, Walgreen’s, and Pizza Hut.

It’s likely that these and other advertisers will be watching 19 Kids and Counting parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, very closely during their interview with Megyn Kelly this coming week on Fox. What they say regarding Josh Duggar and his sexual molestations may very well determine not only the fate of 19 Kids and Counting, but the likelihood of a spinoff as well.

  • Jessa Duggar to Star With Jill Duggar in ’19 Kids and Counting’ Spinoff, ‘2 Brides and Their Grooms?’

Jessa Duggar has been at the center of her brother–Josh’s Duggar’s–sexual molestation scandal, with many believing she may have been among the four sisters he sexually molested several years ago. The same goes for Jill Duggar.

Jill and Jessa Duggar have been the recent mainstays of the family’s reality show, 19 Kids and Counting. In light of the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal, TLC is scrambling to decide what they should do regarding the Duggar family and keeping the show on the air. Major advertisers, including Payless Shoe Source, General Mills, and Choice Hotels International have already pulled their advertising. David’s Bridal and CVS are the latest to withdraw.

A recent People magazine report says TLC is actually considering a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff. 2 Brides and Their Husbands would star Jill and Jessa Duggar, as well as their husbands, Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald, respectively.

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald tied the knot back in November. Their wedding only recently aired on 19 Kids and Counting, and drew in a large number of viewers. Jessa Duggar is expecting a baby on November 1st–her one-year wedding anniversary.

Jill Duggar’s wedding to Derick Dillard last June was a huge TLC event, but not as big as the TLC 19 Kids and Counting special that aired before Mother’s Day, during which Jill Duggar gave birth to the couple’s first child, Israel David Dillard. That special pulled in 3.6 million viewers.

Yes, Jill and Jessa Duggar are the big draws for 19 Kids and Counting, and TLC is hoping they can support a reality show all their own.

But will this be too little, too late? Even if Josh Duggar–and maybe even Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar–are omitted from a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff, do Jill and Jessa Duggar have enough pull to make viewers forget what the family hid from their fans? Not only are people up in arms over what Josh Duggar did, they are appalled at how Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar handled the entire situation.

Would you give the Duggar family another shot if Jill and Jessa Duggar wind up starring in a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff?

Do you think 2 Brides and Their Husbands would get the backing of some of these advertisers who have already abandoned the family’s original show?

  • Jill Duggar, Jessa Duggar to Star in ’19 Kids and Counting’ Spinoff? TLC Considering ‘2 Brides and Their Grooms’

Jill Duggar and Jessa Duggar–along with husbands Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald–might not be leaving TLC after all. In light of the recent Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal, TLC is in full-blown panic mode, trying to keep at least some of the 19 Kids and Counting family on TV, while omitting Josh Duggar for good.

One way they are thinking of pulling this off is via a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff. 2 Brides and Their Grooms will–if it comes to fruition–star Jill Duggar Dillard and husband Derick, along with Jessa Duggar Seewald and her husband Ben.

According to People magazine, Jill Duggar, her wedding, and the birth of baby Israel were big sellers for TLC. Jessa Duggar’s wedding drew huge numbers, too.

“The show had begun to focus more and more on the next generation of Duggars, anyway–mainly Jill and Jessa and their marriages and babies,” a source tells People. “That’s when the show got its highest ratings.”

The two-hour special that documented Jill Duggar’s dramatic, 70-hour delivery of her baby boy pulled in over 3.6 million viewers. Jessa Duggar is expecting her first baby on November 1st–one year from the day she married Ben Seewald.

Advertisers are already pulling out of 19 Kids and Counting, so TLC needs to make a decision soon. Payless Shoe Source, General Mills, and Choice Hotels International have already withdrawn their advertising.

Would you watch a show starring Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald if 2 Brides and Their Husbands comes to TLC?

People magazine contacted TLC for comment, but received no reply.

  • Jill Duggar, Jessa Duggar and Husbands to Star in TLC’s ’19 Kids and Counting’ Spinoff, ‘2 Brides and Their Grooms?’

Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, and their husbands might star in a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff. That will allow TLC to keep the Duggar family on the air while getting rid of Josh Duggar. It will also serve to concentrate less on Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, who are both in the hot seat for the way they handled their eldest son’s sexual molestation scandal.

As most everyone knows by now, Josh Duggar has admitted to sexually molesting five underage females when he was a teenager. It is presumed that Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald, along with Jinger and Jana Duggar, were the sisters he abused.

People magazine reports that the 19 Kids and Counting spinoff would likely be called 2 Brides and Their Grooms.

“The show had begun to focus more and more on the next generation of Duggars, anyway–mainly Jill and Jessa and their marriages and babies,” a source tells People. “That’s when the show got its highest ratings.”

It’s been very clear for quite some time now that Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald are the mainstays of 19 Kids and Counting. Along with husbands Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald, respectively, and Derick and Jill’s new baby, Israel David Dillard, they make the whole show. The two-hour special that documented Jill’s dramatic, 70-hour delivery of her baby pulled in over 3.6 million viewers. Jessa Duggar is expecting her first baby on November 1st–one year from the day she married Ben Seewald.

It’s clear that TLC is scrambling to keep the Duggar family on TV while not promoting a sex offender.

Advertisers are already pulling out of 19 Kids and Counting, so TLC needs to make a decision soon.

Would you watch a show starring Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald if 2 Brides and Their Husbands comes to fruition?
