When The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim debuted on November 11, 2011 it was an instant hit. The long-awaited drew near-universal acclaim from critics and gamers alike. In the first week it was available the game sold roughly 7 million copies across all platforms.

Speaking of platforms, Skyrim was initially released for Microsoft’s Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows-based PCs. One gaming platform that was shockingly overlooked, however, was the Texas Instruments TI-84 graphinc calculator. Fortunately for calculator gaming enthusiasts everywhere, though, a programmer known as N09sniper was kind enough to port the game to the TI-84 and make it freely available for download. Of course, the TI-84 isn’t exactly a real gaming console – its two-tone screen is far more reminiscent of an old school Nintendo Game Boy – so the TI-84 version is hardly what you’d get if you play Skyrim on your PC, Xbox, or PS3. But still, it’s Skyrim on a calculator. Because why not?
