Sears Black Friday is definitely more like all week! As in today – and every day leading up to Friday, Nov. 29. If some of you are confused, no need to be. Here’s the deal: Sears decided to switch things up a bit this year! In a brief press release, the department retail giant announced over a week ago that Black Friday 2013 would actually begin Nov. 22 for its ‘Sears: Shop Your Way’ members.

So, if you venture into Sears today, do be surprised at the overwhelming price cuts. However, the prices probably won’t be the only thing overwhelming. Holiday shoppers will probably trickle in slowly, evolving into a massive overflow. So, for the rest of the week, make it a rule of thumb to saunter in as early as possible!

The Sears Black Friday ads have already been posted to the Sears website. With up to 40% off on appliances its safe to say some of the heaviest discounts lie in that department. Everything from brand name washing machines and dryers, to kitchen appliances like stoves and refrigerators are marked down to be hauled out. Clothing is marked down up to 60% off, and the home department has mark downs of up to 50%. So, if you’re looking to buy sheets, heated blankets, towel sets or even pots, pans and blenders for Christmas gifts, you may want to consider the whopping Sears discounts.

Sears is even offering marketplace deals which house items you won’t normally find in a domestic retail location. The marketplace department has living room and bedroom furniture, chairs, recliners, entertainment centers, and even indoor heating accessories such as fireplaces and electric wooden fire log sets.

Last but definitely not least, the toy section has substantial mark-downs of up to 50%. Then, if the saving still aren’t enough to sweeten the discount pot, Sears also has another promotional code on the site which tacks on an additional 15% discount when you buy select clothing items. When you enter ‘GETREADY’ when checking out online, the extra 15% will be calculated into your total. The other beneficial factor in the additional 15% is that it isn’t just an online promotion. Shoppers can also access the coupon link to download and print the physical copy of the coupon from the website.(image)

Then, even after all of this, the sales still aren’t close to being over. The Black Friday Doorbusters sale begins Wednesday, Nov. 27 online at 6:00 p.m. CST and Thanksgiving Day in stores at 8:00 p.m. based on your local time. In-store sales end on Friday at 1:00 p.m. local time, and 3:00 p.m. online.
