Gravity star Sandra Bullock has been named the highest-paid actress by Forbes.

According to Forbes, Bullock landing the top spot has been credited primarily to the astronomical check she received for her work on the sci-fi thriller directed by Alfonso Cuaron. Between June 2013 and June 2014, Sandra is said to have made approximately $51 million.

When Gravity was first pitched, producers were skeptical that a movie featuring one person in space for the majority of the film would be a hit among audiences. However, the film quickly became a hit, and raked in $716 million at the global box office.

Gravity was successful in landing ten Oscar nominations, and taking home seven of those wins. However, Bullock did not win her Best Actress nomination, and lost to Cate Blanchett of Blue Jasmine.

Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence came in second with $34 million, and former Friends star Jennifer Aniston came in at a close third with $31 million. Rounding out the top five is: Iron Man 3 star Gwyneth Paltrow with $19 million, Maleficent star Angelina Jolie with $18 million, and The Other Woman star Cameron Diaz tying with Jolie with $18 million. Combined, the top ten women on Forbes’ list brought in a total of $216 million for the year.

Angelina Jolie topped Forbes charts last year with $33 million, due in part for her work on the film Maleficent.
