Rosamund Pike is lending her famously smooth British voice to a new children’s show.

Amazon has announced a new reboot of Thunderbirds Are Go, which will feature Rosamund Pike as Lady Penelope.

Other voice stars for the show include Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Rasmus Hardiker.

Thunderbirds has been aired in the UK in 2015 and early 2016, now Amazon is bringing it to the US. Amazon has already ordered four seasons of the show.

The original Lady Penelope was voiced by Sylvia Anderson in 1965 and was portrayed by Sophia Myles in the 2004 live-action film.

The new series starring Rosamund Pike is a combination of CGI and live-action model sets. They’ve come a long way since the original 1965 British series, which was a puppet show.

The show centers around the five Tracy brothers. The brothers are pilots of the Thunderbird vehicles who carry out daring rescue missions around the world.

But the animated series is not the only thing that Rosamund Pike has going on right now.

It is rumored that Rosamund Pike has been looking into starring in the new film Guernsey. Also involved in that project is director Mike Newell of Harry Potter fame.

This film follows a writer (possibly Rosamund Pike), as she forms a bond with the residents of Guernsey Island in the aftermath of World War II.

She then decides to write a book about their experiences during the war.

Sounds like an amazing role for Rosamund Pike!
