The highlight of this weeks Nintendo download announcement is the addition of E3 content made downloadable to your 3DS. But they also have some other notable releases this week including the original Prince of Persia to be played on the 3DS and Lego Batman 2 (also for 3DS).

Available for free download on the 3DS this week are highlights from this years E3 conference. Players will be able to download trailers for the New Super Mario Brothers 2, Luigi’s mansion, Dark Moon and Paper Mario, and Sticker Star. A game demo for Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, is also available in this package, and can be purchased this week.

One of the things that is going to make classic gamers excited is the addition of Price of Persia for the 3DS at a cost of $4.99. The pioneer in the platformer genre stays true to its original form in this download. In this game, you traverse sprawling levels, dodge traps, fight gaurds, and… do I really need to tell you what Prince of Persia is. Moving on.

Art of Balance Touch! is also available. The physics based stacking game, has some potential for highly addictive gameplay. It features over 200 levels, so if this sounds like your thing, you will be entertained for a while. It’s available for 3DS at $6.99.

Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes comes to the 3DS: This time the Dynamic Duo join forces with other famous DC super heroes including Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern to stop the notorious villains Lex Luthor and The Joker from destroying Gotham City. This is a full release, costing $39.99.
