Keri Russell went to sleep in her New York townhouse on Tuesday night like she does every other night. Little did she know that she would be awoken by burglars in her home.

Early Wednesday morning, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Russell woke up to noises coming from the second story of her townhouse. When she went to investigate, she noticed that her living room window and front door were open and several of her items were missing. Russell called 911, but never actually saw the intruders. Russell was the only one home at the time.

The burglars made off with a Filson handbag, a laptop computer and a necklace. However, they didn’t get too far. Not long after Russell’s house was broken into, her 70-year-old neighbor woke up to find the men ransacking her home as well, and she called 911 with a description.

The NYPD searched the area and arrested a father and son duo. Russell’s items that had been reported missing were recovered. The police even went to the set of her FX series The Americans to return the items.

“They’re bringing my stuff back right now. When does that ever happen?” Russell said. “The New York City cops were awesome! Everyone is fine. Thank you for your concern.”

Russell’s rep spoke to the news saying: “Everyone is fine, and Keri sends her thanks to the police,” the rep said. “She returned to work on The Americans today.”

Police are currently looking into the duo as possible suspects in Russell’s burglary.
